FESTIVAL'S BEGINNING

Ayato Aishi x Female reader

A Fluff romance.

It's 6:41 p.m. and (Y/n) is rushing to fix her makeup. Her concealer, makeup brushes, mascara, lipstick, and other makeup-related items were scattered in her bathroom sink. If anyone ever saw the mess she made, they might believe that by some miracle, the tornado just passed by in her bathroom.

She created more mess on her face while rushing to fix the eyeliner that was smudged on her face. (Y/n) getting more and more frustrated, she decided to stop and take a deep breath to relax, (Y/n) became calmer and a little relaxed so she decided to finish her make-up while she was still in her calm demeanor to avoid herself to make more mess, it helped her a little bit but the worry she had remain, after half of an hour or so she's already done in her make-up.

She double-checked her face in the mirror and smiled full of satisfaction, she did a victory punch in the air after successfully surviving the make-up battlefield that she had created in her head while doing it. (Y/n) after her successful survival had yet faced another battle, her bathroom sink (Y/n) glared at the mess and position herself in a cowboy move acting like she was in the wild west, "Okay partner, after that shit you've put me through, your dead".

After dramatically leaving the bathroom clean 'I win' she thought for the moment as she wiped the invisible sweat on her forehead, she walked to her full body mirror and did a full body check, (y/n) was satisfied with her looks, she was wearing a pastel pink kimono with minimal flower pattern in the lower part of the kimono with the pairing geta sandals that matches that color and pattern, and with her simple make-up that fits the kimono she's wearing.

(Y/n) looked at her phone and found out she was already 30 minutes late, she cursed herself for taking a lot of time in the bathroom and doing a lot of drama, she quickly took up her mini sling bag and put her phone inside with her wallet in it, "BYE MOM!" she shouted after running outside the house leaving her mom without another word, (y/n) was running to the festival's location worried that her boyfriend was upset after her being late.

Ayato was waiting at the entrance of the festival, staring at his phone. It had been nearly an hour since their scheduled meeting time, and he was growing worried and anxious for his girlfriend. He had been waiting for almost one hour before their final meeting time, he was excited to be going to his first festival with his only love.

Ayato debated whether or not to call her since he didn't want to rush or irritate her and risk having her break up with him. In his mind, he ran through different kinds of scenarios, from him being forgotten to her being in danger and needing to be saved.

Ayato took a deep breath 'She's supposed to be here already, did she forget? No, it's impossible she was so excited about the festival.' Ayato's eyes widen from his new thoughts 'Did she get kidnapped?' Ayato's start's heart beating so fast, his eyes went dead, and thoughts of her crying, begging, and asking for help ran through his head.

Ayato quickly dialed her number and called her. He put the phone to his ear and waited for her to pick up. "(Y/N) WHERE ARE YOU? ARE YOU OK? DID SOMETHING HAPPEN TO YOU?" he bombarded her with questions as his eyes widened when he heard her panting and running.

Ayato didn't wait for her to respond and was about to run after her when he saw a girl wearing a pastel pink kimono running with her right hand holding her phone to her ear. He could see her eyes widen and the hand holding the phone rise to wave at him from a distance.

Ayato stopped and turned to face the girl coming toward him. His eyes widened as his worry faded away at the sight of her and was replaced by admiration for her messy appearance and smile. This made his heart beat quicker, but for a different reason, it seemed as though everything had stopped around him and all he could see was the girl coming toward him, getting closer and closer.

Ayato stared at her in awe as she stopped in front of him, her hands resting on her knees as she took a break from her running. He waited for her to catch her breath before (Y/n) stood up in front of him, holding her bag in one hand and her phone in the other, her hair a little messy and a smile beaming towards him.

"Ayato sorry for being late it took me a long time to fix myself I hope you forgive me." (Y/n)'s faced him with worry, especially receiving a call from him full of worry while she was running towards the entrance of the festival venue "Not at all, I thought something happen to you on the way here?" Ayato smiled to reassure her.

(Y/n) sigh in relief when she heard him "How long have you been here anyway?" she asked while looking at him in the eyes, Ayato smiled at her and lifted his hand to start fixing her messy hair "Don't worry it's not that long." Ayato said in his soft voice, after he finished fixing her hair, he cupped her cheeks gave her a quick peck, and smiled at her again.

"Very vague? but fine." she looked at his appearance seeing him wearing a very plain white shirt with black pants, (Y/n) Sweat dropped on his appearance " Ayato?" he looked at her with worry "Yes?" "So why are you not wearing a Yukata or a Kimono?" (Y/n) looked at him, hands on the side of her hips.

"Do I have to? I don't think I need to wear one?" looking at her smiling. She pouted at him, "You know that's not what I meant." as he took her hands and rubbed his thumb on her palm. He gave her an angelic laugh and smile, saying, "Sorry about that, I just didn't think of wearing one."

He continued to smile, "Sheesh, where's your festival spirit? Well, it doesn't matter anyway" As (y/n) sighed in acceptance wrapped her arms around his arm, and smiled at him.

"So what do you want to do Ayato?" It was just the beginning of their first festival without the care of other people around them looking with full of admiration and envy at the entrance of the festival.

Your heart raced in your chest, the air struggling to enter your lungs.

You know he heard your footsteps.

You peek out from behind the corner and see him.

Ayato Aishi.

Whenever you saw him in the halls or in class, you barely paid him any mind.

Any interactions you had were a simple, "hello" and a smile.

And yet, he was right there, covered in blood with a dead girl at his feet. Midori Gurin was her name, you thought.

You met his cold, piercing gaze and you leaned against the wall, hiding once again. You wanted to run, to tell someone, to get to safety- but your legs were stuck in place.

You heard the quiet taps of the black school shoes coming closer and closer. You were prepared to feel the icy metal of the knife against your neck.

You look up at the blood-covered male, whose eyebrows were furrowed.

"I- I'm sorry! I won't tell anyone what I saw, I swear! Please, just don't hurt me!" You exclaim, shivering.

He let out a quiet grunt, looking you up and down.

He walked back to the body, wrapping her up in a black garbage back.

He really spared your life. Why? You didn't know, but you took the chance and ran.

The next day, you couldn't help but keep thinking of him.

He was blessed with good looks, and the way his eyes traveled up your figure sent shivers down your spine.

Any normal person would've broken the promise and reported him to the authorities, but you couldn't bring yourself to do it.

Somehow, you felt guilty. It was so stupid. How could you feel guilty?

You were walking through the hallway, zoned out. You were brought back to reality when you bumped into someone's chest.

"Oh, sorry-" you said, looking up.

It was none other than Ayato.

"We meet again, Y/N," he said in a low voice.

You gulped, unsure of what to say.

He looked even better up close.

"G- good morning, Ayato." You said quietly.

He looked around to see if the coast was clear.

"I take it you haven't told anyone what you saw," he said, raising a brow.

You shook your head frantically.

"No! No, I haven't. I promise," you said.

He smirked, brushing his finger against your cheek gently.

"You're cute when you blush," he said quietly, walking away.

You stood there, stunned.

You felt your cheek and felt the heat. Glancing at a nearby window reflection, you could just about make out how red your face was.

Were you really falling for a murderer? A criminal?!

From then on, he always had an eye on you. Those grey eyes always seemed to sparkle when they met your e/c ones.

You found yourself staring at him more often, wanting his attention.

You tried to deny it- you really did- but there was just no doubt about it.

You fell in love with Ayato Aishi.

One day, you thought enough was enough. You were stuck in an endless cycle of fluster around him.

You left a bright pink note in his locker, telling him to meet you under the cherry blossom tree after school.

It was the most cliché thing you could do, but you were desperate.

You stood at the tree impatiently, already regretting this. What if he won't show up? What if you'll end up like Midori?

Your thoughts were slightly put to rest as you see a familiar head of grey hair approach you.

"Oh, Y/N. You're the one who left that note?" He asked.

You nod.

"Yeah, um... I've caught very strong feelings for you. I- I know it might seem weird, because I saw you... Kill someone... B- but that doesn't change anything! I can't help it, I like you," you said, blushing and sweating like crazy.

He stared at you blankly for a moment. That moment seemed to drag on for too long.

"That's... unexpected. But I won't deny it. I like you too. I thought Midori simply got in my way," he said in his usual emotionless voice.

You breathed a sigh of relief, hugging him nervously.

If he really did like you, he wouldn't hurt you. Not like that poor girl...

"You're mine now," he whispered.

Ayato Aishi Headcanons

-Ayano and Ayato are twins, making it easier to understand that you can play as one or the other.

-Ayato is different from his twin sister, as while he's still a yandere for Taro/Taeko, along with feelings of happiness and such, he also feels guilt when thinking of killing others. He doesn't often want to hurt people, and when he does, he questions why.

-If Ayato goes into snap mode, it is in fact possible to bring him back, but it's very difficult. If it does happen and his Senpai forgives him, he'll have to take a few days to recover at home.

-Ayato would not stoop to kidnapping his senpai. He could never forgive himself. He wants to make a genuine connection, but he finds it difficult since he's not very good at talking directly to his senpai.

-Ayato likes to cook, and has considered joining the cooking club, but wants to wait for his senpai to join a club first.

-Osana has a light crush on Ayato, but he doesn't share these feelings. At least, not yet. ;)

-Ayato acts impulsively, and doesn't quite calculate his actions. He just does what he does and cleans up afterward.

-If Ayato were to interact with his Senpai, he'd be very shy, quiet and stuttery, but he would be able to talk to them.

-Ayato's one fantasy is to take care of his senpai when they're sick, showering them with attention and affection the whole time.

-Ayato does not like his mother whatsoever. They don't get along.

-When Ayano and Ayato found out they had the same senpai, they tried to fight each other to the death. Ryoba simply encouraged them until Jokichi stepped in and made them stop, not wanting his kids to fight each other.

-Ayato likes to dress in mostly cool colors, i.e. Blue, Purple, Green, etc.

-Ayato has directly sabotaged his sister by setting people she'd kidnapped free.

-Ayato's weapon of choice is not a knife, unlike his sister. He prefers to use the axe behind the garden shed, as it's less messy.

-Ayato isn't very popular, however he gets a lot of girls attention, and has dated one or two in the past to see if he'd feel something around them. It always resulted in them leaving him because he was too cold. "Like he has no emotion at all".

SURPRISE VISIT

Ayato Aishi x Female reader

A Fluff Romance.

(Y/n) was visiting her boyfriend Ayato, she was walking her way to his house with a plastic bag full of snacks in her hand, she stopped at the front door of his house and rang the doorbell, she waited in front until the front door opened by Ayato, she lifted the bag full of snack in the same height of his face, she tilts her head on the side and smile.

Ayato's face lit up not from the snacks she brought but to see his girlfriend's face, he took the bag with his left hand and used his right hand to pull her inside wrapping his arm around her waist and hugging her leaning his face in her neck and whispers "I miss you (Y/n)", (Y/n) was startled at first but quickly hug him back and giggled because of it " sheesh, we literally just been together yesterday and you miss me already?" She teased.

Ayato lifted his face out of her neck to face her, pouting at her comment like a dog that had been kicked out as his arm still wrapped around her waist "But that was yesterday, and today was different" he was looking at her like he was about to cry, 'cute' is what she thought while preventing herself to giggle more "Ok, ok, your right tomorrow was different" she said.

(Y/n) patted his head "What about we go inside and close the door? There are people watching us" as she took Ayato's arm off of her waist and took the bag of snacks out of his other hand and let herself in at his house, Ayato watched her walk inside and suddenly looked outside the open door seeing there are really people looking at them, Ayato's face suddenly changes from a kicked puppy to a murderer glare to the people outside the street.

The people outside were terrified and started walking away as fast as they could, Ayato quickly closed the door and his face suddenly changed to a very excited dog, he walked inside up the stairs to his room as fast as he could, nearly tripping on the stairs, when he opened the door he saw (Y/n) sitting on the floor back facing the door and control in hand playing a video game called Magical Girl Pretty Miyuki on his tv totally focused.

Ayato decides to take revenge after being teased, he slowly creeps behind her back and tries to not make any noise as possible, (Y/n) who is super engaged in the game not noticing Ayato creeping behind her as she is about to win the round.

"BOOO!" As Ayato grabbed her shoulders quickly and smiled at her, "WAAA!" (Y/n) got scared as the controller in her hand flew up out of her hand, her head quickly turned to face him, still scared one hand was grabbing her chest to calm herself.

Her face switched from scared to mad the second she saw Ayato, "What was that for?" She was upset, "Sorry, it was just my revenge for teasing me earlier" Ayato's face went from smiling to sad puppy face (Y/n) still upset crossed her arms around her chest and pouted, she looked away and noticed that the game her playing had a 'GAME OVER' screen, Ayato hug her from the back still had his sad face "I'm sorry please don't ignore me" Ayato hug her a little tight like a child afraid of being alone.

(Y/n) seeing the 'GAME OVER' on the screen as the boss was in one hit away to defeat, she internally smirked as she saw a new way to tease Ayato, Ayato who still hugging her noticed the slight change in her girlfriend's demeanor 'ahhh~ she's planning something' Ayato thought he slightly smirk from the thought of it and plan to play along on her game.

(Y/n) decide to get a reaction out of him, she glared at him "Why did you do that for I was one hit away!" She was upset, it was pretty convincing, and others could fall for it, but Ayato knows and can tell she was just playing around.

Being born with no more than just fake emotions from all his childhood until that day, he knows that to satisfy her he'll play along with it, "I'm sorry please don't be mad" he looked at her as his face looked like he's been kicked out, "you think sorry is enough. hmp… Getaway" as she pouts more like a child as she turns her head facing away from him, Ayato, on the other hand, was getting sadder but.

'oh damn she's so cute, it makes me want to lock her up and keep her forever' Ayato's eyes start to slowly tear up as tears slowly drip from his eyes down to his cheeks, "I'm very sorry please?" (Y/n) saw his tears dripping, she moves out of his hug and faces him her hands cupped his cheeks as she wipes his tears away.

"Ayato don't cry I'm just kidding" (Y/n)'s voice was filled with worry, "Really?" Ayato's voice slightly quivers as his hand moves to hold her hands while it is still in his cheeks, "Really I promise" (Y/n) nods as her eyes field with determination "Then will you please stay here for the day?" Ayato leans to her touch while looking at her begging, (Y/n) feeling a little guilty about it "Sure" She smiled at him, not knowing she fell from his tricks.

"What's that?”

You hesitantly ask as you enter the kitchen. The kitchen counter fully decorated with colorful fruits that Kun keeps picking, putting them into the blender, creating a suspicious juice. Even the odd color manages to scare you.

Kun gives you a bright open smile, rushing over to you. His hands immediately take a hold of you, one of them going to your swollen belly, making you slightly flinch.

Even after all this time, you still hate his touch.

“Oh this? I’m just following the doctor’s orders.” he calmly says, carefully maneuvering your body to make you sit on a chair.

Your brows twist in confusion. You don’t recall the doctor saying something about fruit juices.

Kun notices your confusion, a small smile decorating his face as he leans on and places a small kiss on your forehead.

“I asked the doctor for extra recommendations, just to make sure you and our precious baby will be healthy the entire time.” he elucidates you, his calming voice inciting the baby to start kicking, making you gasp in surprise.

Kun panics for a moment, his eyes going wide in concern, until he sees your hand going to rub your belly. He kneels down to the floor, his face at the same level as the growing bump.

“Daddy’s here, princess. He’s gonna make sure that you’re safe and have all the vitamins that you need, baby.” Kun coos, his voice flooding with adoration as he presses small gentle kisses all over your stomach.

You merely stare at him, an emptiness filling you as you feel like you’re not even on your own body but more like someone who's watching the scene from afar.

One of the many coping mechanisms that you developed over your time with Kun.

You didn’t blame the baby but it didn’t stop you from dreaming what your life would’ve been if you had managed to get away from Kun before he got you pregnant. Not that he’d let you run away even if you didn’t want to stay with him.

You had already come to terms with the fact that you would never get away from him but lately hormones have been making your irrational fantasies of escaping grow stronger.

“I also got you more vitamins, later I’m gonna make a schedule for when you have to take them.” Kun declares, looking above towards you. His words make you huff in annoyance, his controlling personality starting to bug you immensely.

He ignores your action, going back to the counter and grabbing a juice filled glass and handing it to you. You gaze at the peculiar shade of green of the juice, hesitating before bringing it to your lips.

Taking in a small sip, you immediately gag with the liquid, spitting it back to the glass and putting it back on the counter.

“Ew, it tastes so bad.”

Kun only sighs at your reaction, once again grabbing the glass and returning it to you, his hand coming to your back, rubbing small comforting circles.

“I know it doesn’t taste great, but it’s a small sacrifice you have to make for the baby.”

Your brows narrow in exasperation, crossing your arms above your baby bump you shoot back at him.

“I already take 3 different types of vitamins, I don’t think the baby needs much more. You’re just going overboard with this, Kun.” Your words don’t have much effect over Kun but you definitely notice his fingers tightening around the glass cup.

“Look, this is all for the baby, darling. Don’t be such a bad mom that can’t even put our baby’s health over your own comfort.”

Your mouth drops as his words hit you hard. You aren't being a bad mom. You aren't. Right?

“Yes, you are.” Kun says, almost like he’s reading your mind. He tilts the glass into your direction.

“Just drink it. Cause if you don’t and our daughter is born with any type of health problems, I’m blaming you for it.” He concludes without so much of a blink, making you doubt yourself.

Your mind runs through various scenarios and as much as you hate Kun and his overprotective nature, maybe he was right and the baby really needed this.

Reluctantly picking back the glass, you drink small sips of the liquid, constantly gagging back on its taste yet forcing it down your throat. From your peripheral vision, you see Kun giving you a satisfied smile, his hand coming back to rub your back, somewhat making you feel better as you keep consuming the nasty drink.

The disgusting flavor burns your throat as you force it down.

“You're doing great, honey. Just a few more sips and you’re done.” Kun incentives you, his eyes attentive towards you.

After a few more bitter and agonizing gulps you finally end the whole glass, immediately pushing the glass away from you. Kun’s features morph into a pleased expression, his hand coming to your stomach to lovingly caress the bump.

“See, it wasn't that difficult, was it? I’m glad you were reasonable enough to not jeopardize our baby’s health.” You turn your eyes away from him, unable to look at him.

You know that the reality is that Kun is a master in manipulation and that you just fell for another of his tricks, this time using your own child as leverage to manipulate you.

You hate him.

• He needs to make sure no one confesses their love for you before he does

• He leaves little notes on your desk and in your locker before school

• Just little messages like "you look pretty today" or "blue really suits you"

• They're all signed 'your secret admirer'

• (Kinda cliché but cute)

• He's very observant, so whenever he sees you're having a bad day, he'll leave a gift on your desk

• Something small, like jewelry or your favourite snack

• He studied your daily routine so he can convenientally bump into you

• He'll do anything to have a small interaction with you

• Somehow he'll be on your mind almost 24/7

AFTER/DURING

• He continues to give you gifts during school

• Kisses you at least 5 times a day (at school alone)

• Like every morning, before class, lunchtime, you name it

• Before class, he almost always whispers something to fluster you

• Let's just say he knows exactly how to distract you without even being there ;)

• He's very tall, so he likes to tease you about your height (even if you're almost the same height as him)

• Likes to hang his arms around your waist and rest his chin on your shoulder

• He loves to take you out to the park for mini dates

• He'll always have some snacks during those times, like chocolate covered strawberries or cookies

• He's the type of person to steal your food while you're eating it- like you'll have a pretzel stick in your mouth and he'll just bite the other half off

• He tries his best to be super romantic and it works!

• He's very forward with his feelings, so he'll probably be the first to say 'I love you'
