pause set to expire soon, more prisoners have been released and regardless of whether or not there's another extension i have so much hope. occupation has tried to silence those who have been released on both sides from speaking, no doubt fearing the stark difference in treatment by hamas vs israel being laid bare, but it's too late. it's already obvious and resistance fighters have been showing they will not be letting the 'truce' violations slide and the palestinians are motivated by hope above all. if they have faith and strength then so do i. it's the least we can do collectively not to give in to the hopelessness zionists want to instill in everyone

کبھی کبھی جب میں اللّہ کے بارے میں سوچتی ہوں تو مجھے

اُسکے اچھے ہونے پر بہت پیار اور رونا آتا ہے۔ اور میں

دل میں بہت شکر ادا کرتی ہوں ، خاص کر جاۓ نماز پر اپنے

الرحم الراحمین سے باتیں کرتے ہوئے۔ میں شکر کرتی ہوں

روتے ہوئے کہ اللّہ انسانوں جیسا نہیں۔ وہ آپ کو خواب

دیکھنے سے نہیں روکتا۔ وہ یہ نہیں کہتا جاؤ بی بی تمھاری عقل و

شکل نہیں بڑے بڑے خواب دیکھنے کی۔ وہ دنیا کی طرح آپ

کی تضحیک نہیں کرتا۔ اگر آپ گناہوں سے توبہ کر لیں تو وہ

آپکو شرمندہ نہیں کرتا، اور توبہ کے بعد گناہ دوہرائیں تو جتاتا

نہیں۔ مجھے اسکی محبت پر رونا آتا ہے۔ اُسکے اچھے ہونے پہ

رونا آتا ہے کہ وہ کسطرح میرے دل کی بے چینی کو سکون

میں بدل دیتا ہے۔

جب کسی انسان کی باتیں تیر کی طرح دل پہ لگتی ہیں تو میرا

میرا رب مجھے چپکے سے قرآن پاک کی آیت دکھا دیتا ہے جس

میں بتا یا گیا ہے کہ لوگو ں کی باتوں کا غم نہ کرو ، جب مجھے

لوگوں کی زیادتیاں یاد آئیں تو قرآن پاک کی آیت کے ترجمے کی

وضاحت آجاتی ہے کہ جو حاصل نہ ہوسکا اسکا غم نہ کرو،

جب دعا سے مایوسی ہو تو ہمت بندھانے والی آیت کا ترجمہ آ

جاتا ہے کہ اپنے پروردگار سے چپکے چپکے عاجزی سے دعا مانگو

یا پھر یہ نظر آتا ہے کہ تمھارا رب تمھیں اتنا نوازے گا کہ تم راضی ہو جاؤ گے

اور ایک مزے کی بات ہے کہ میں بولتی تو بہت ہوں کہ میں

شکرگزار ہوں لیکن اندر سے ایک بے صبری انسان ہوں جو

چھوٹی سی ٹھوکر کا شکوہ اپنے رب سے کرتی ہے اپنے آپ کو

دھوکہ دیتے کہ اب اپنے رب سے ہی بولوں گی نا۔ لیکن میرا

اللّہ ایک مہربان اُستاد کی طرح مجھے بتاتا ہے کہ اگر تم شکر ادا

کروگی تو تمھیں اور دوں گا، ایک بار نہیں کئی بار، بار بار سو

ابھی سیکھ رہی ہوں آہستہ آہستہ.

اور جب کبھی میں خوف اور تکلیف میں یا رب

یا رب بولتی ہوں تو مجھے لگتا ہے کہ وہ میرے دل کی تکلیف

کو سن رہا ہے او ر یقین مانیں کچھ لمحوں میں خوف۔ زائل ہو

جاتا ہے۔ پتا ہے کیوں؟

کیونکہ مجھے لگتا ہے کہ میرا رب مجھے چپکے سے خاموشی کی زبان

میں بولتا ہے کہ میری سادہ اور بے وقوف دوست ( کیونکہ میں

اپنے رب کو اپنا بہترین دوست مانتی ہوں تو مجھے لگتا ہے کہ

میں بھی شاید۔۔) میں تمھارے

ساتھ ہوں، پہلے بھی تھا تمھارے ساتھ جب تمھارے اپنے

دھوکا دے گئے،اور تمھیں ایک نئی اور بہترین زندگی سے

نوازا ،

اب بھی ہو ں اور ہمیشہ ہمیشہ مہربان سائے کی طرح رہوں گا

اتنا اچھا ہے میرا رب

One of the greatest blessings: to witness “partners in crime” evolve into “partners in Khayr” (إن شاء الله).

The sibling bond is unmatched in its uniqueness. After (and even during) all the squabbles and fights, in the deep depths of the night, it’s always:

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلأَخِي وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي رَحْمَتِكَ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

"My Lord, forgive me and my brother and admit us into Your mercy, for You are the most merciful of the merciful." [7:151]

They used to tell us: when nobody is there for you in life, you will turn around and see your siblings standing behind you. And by Allāh, we only ever found that to be true.

[Allāh] said, "We will strengthen your arm through your brother…” [28:35]

May those who we shared a womb with share with us in the delights of Paradise. May Allāh سبحانه وتعالى have mercy on our parents, for after Islām and Tawheed, the best gift they gave us was each other, and of the most precious lessons they taught us, was the value of such bonds.

They say “blood is thicker than water”. We say لا إله الا الله is thicker than both. But what a Ni’mah when you get two in one!
