okay okay okay so i just finished the terror and i think i'm insane

#okay alright so here's the thing #i've never really seen a tragedy through to its endpoint. that is what this is.#however. ohhh my god i need to do another rewatch Right Now so i can listen to the music #i noticed something right at the beginning but i think there might be something to analyze in how western tonality breaks down throughout i #so like. it's set in the mid 1800s. we've got some pretty solid era of western tonality happening. and i can't help but wonder #if the show descends into the brutality of the arctic. does the music foreshadow or parallel this #bc there's some jaunty tune in ep 1 and music like that just Vanishes pretty immediately thereafter.#and the last shot has the most haunting sustained pitches with really really dissonant overtones.#and ends unresolved. in a way that pieces from the 1800s standard canon don't.... really do. and i just. augh. hm. how does the music work #i must know and i must know Now #the terror #so sorry y'all i'm just stuck like this you're in for the long haul

Excited to finally reveal my imaginings of Mrs. Rhodes and Mrs. Princeton -Helen Rhodes and Michelle Princeton respectively- as well as evil minion number 1, Fiona, who has made appearances with her little team of goons as minor baddies in 2 fics I've done now so it's fun to finally put her to the page visually since I managed to nail down what I actually think she looks like after all this time lol.

Helen and Michelle have also become reoccurring ladies now with OUAD after Sustained By Hate, so I had a lot of fun drawing them for this!

okay I would say the thrifting was semi successful. I did find three (3) whole pants in the end after trying on probably like 20. I also think they're all men's pants?? the zipper is on the wrong side idk

now I'm about to embark on the journey back! then go to the optometrist and THEN go home

Lol Stray Kids announced a new comeback for November called Rock Star (or at least that’s the Anglicized name), and I’m just sitting here mourning how jype is gonna just style it the same as always and waste all the potential. I really feel like people don't take my sensory limitations and sensitivities seriously.

I'm not just being picky, actually! Strong scents cause my respiratory system to flare up!

I actually CAN'T tune out stimuli. Its just A Thing. I've never been able to do it in my whole life because my brain Just Isn't Wired Like That

So when I say "Can you not smoke here?" or "Please only get unscented trash bags" or "I really need you to be using headphones, please" I am expressing a Very Real Need and if you're just going to ignore that I have to resign myself to the fact that I just can't trust you.
