He’s very ‘mine, mine, mine!’ when he’s able to just relax into your kisses, which he thinks of as kind of rare, so it’s quite the delicacy. At first he’s very quick tongued and eager, bordering impatient once you have the time to sink into each-others presence without a jarring disturbance, because of this his hands can move quite roughly, careless almost, he’s just so used to running high on a lot of you and not so much time. He knows how many beats to wait until you’re tilting your head to the opposite side of his so the transition is flawless, knows how to keep himself close and open for you without blocking your air. Sweet boy! He’s just so polite ???? Very hesitant with making noise and moving his hands to rest on places other than your waist, or face, so you’ve got to show him a little direction with it!

A complete and utter sucker for feeling you up underneath your clothes, and I do mean his hands being on your skin, of course, but,, he’d also like toying with the band of your bra/panties just to tease you, frequently slips the pad of his finger under the band just to run against it. Needs to keep himself physically stimulated so he can focus on the task at hand, if he doesn’t then he’s so hurried in getting you undressed, it’s just so hard to kiss only your lips when you’re so pretty and smell so good, making the soft sounds you do whenever his tongue is playing with yours. When he’s feeling a little emotional, more sentimental, the kisses are reduced to a slower pace, the passion and emotion is all still there, just more intensified due to how much he feels his emotions. Cradles your face so gently while simultaneously keeping you as close to him as possible, sometimes tears will slip due to how full he is with your love, how grateful he is for it, other times he starts getting chatty, he just needs you to hear how happy he is, don’t be surprised if a mix of both happen.

#1 HATER of chaste pecks on the lips. EVER. Will actually become upset if it’s done more than a few times, now the first few he’ll let slide, he knows how to be lenient, but don’t let it happen too often because then you’ll really start thinking hard about how he should’ve considered an acting career before debuting. He just loooves being dramatic and incredibly loud, lucky for you! making out just so happens to be his favourite! Shuts up immediately when you’re situating yourself in his lap every single time, admittedly he’s still a little shocked by how easily you give in to him, to the point where he forgets about you literally being his girlfriend and he’s just kind of like “Oh!😃” when you’re pulling him into you. A huge fan of hickey’s, giving them, receiving, likes breaking from the kiss so his hands can feel you up and he can suck a mark into your skin wherever he pleases. Sumin peeks from the blanket he has covered up to his nose as he hears light taps of your feet emerging in the room. His green hair falls messily over his head, making him look like a cute, little broccoli and his small, round eyes fix on your figure as he sees you do your night routine.

Sumin has never hated a night routine more.

After what feels like an eternity (it was ten minutes) he scrunches his nose in your direction and whines, “Come to bed, y/n.” You hum in acknowledgement clearly still concentrated on the perfect proportion of your face cream making your boyfriend give murderous looks to the tub of cream.

“Leave the night routine already,” he whines again, bouncing his legs on the bed a bit for extra effect, making you snort and turn around to look at him.

“You know I need to complete this right?” you giggle when you see a deadly glare and a pout adorning his face at the same time and he sticks his tongue out. You turn your back to him again and he groans, head hitting the pillow. A few moments pass and he says the most unhinged sentence ever,

“Get inside and cuddle, before I get hypothermia.”

Your hand halts and hovers over the lid of your box of cosmetics and you turn around saying, “Hypothermia from what? Twenty degrees of the air conditioner and you being under a blanket? Cause of death too flimsy no? Try again?”

That makes him take a big gasp and he replies, “Do you want your boyfriend to die?” You press your lips together to stop yourself from giggling again as you get up (finally) and turn off the lights quickly before getting in bed. As soon as you do Sumin pulls you closer to him and you let the giggle out and turn towards him.

“Are you happy now, you big baby?” you ask, running your hand through his hair and you see the outlines of his big, gummy smiles as he nods excitedly. He pecks your lips and then places little kisses all over your face making you squirm and giggle in his embrace. After a last kiss, long and loving, on the lips, you two settle down comfortably in the covers. “The mere existence of night routine should be a crime,” he says suddenly and you laugh at his righteous voice before you both fall asleep.

Bf!Hyunwoo who 100% has this odd inclination for play fighting, and it always ensues from such a trivial topic that the two of you keep butting heads on, still, he’s finding an excuse to pin you down and tickle you until you’re barely able to form a coherent sentence, threatening you with empty promises, and he’d say it all without an ounce of seriousness, his laugh cutting through his struggled words. He always gets a kick out of it, laughs just as hard— if not harder, just loves seeing your smile, hearing your laugh :,)

Bf!Hyunwoo who is very serious about taking your pictures for you, Seeun’s offering to take them? No he isn’t, the phones already in his hand. He puts in the same amount of effort that a high in demand photographer does, and is always equipped with a multitude of angles to experiment with. Words of encouragement? Are you joking? He’s praising you so much, tells you how beautiful you look every single time, a lot of the pictures end up capturing how touchy he gets, absolutely unable to resist you + so, so many candid moments of you!! Bf!Hyunwoo who admittedly sometimes gets a little shy calling you pet names in front of his members (Baby, babe, sweetheart, darling) instead he’d come up with a personal nickname for you, like a shortened, distorted, added letters that aren’t originally there kind of nickname, and it’s so cute because maybe it’ll sound a little unserious, a little silly, but he’ll say it with such a genuine tone when referring to you by it in a conversation (because he’s always talking abt you😋). And whoever he’s talking to will be like “Who?” And he’ll be like “My girlfriend??? Who else would I be talking about???” Since it’s something he created just for you he’d be a little bitter if his members started to use it, because they aren’t your boyfriend??? He is??? That’s why he made it???

Bf!Hyunwoo who doesn’t let you say ‘love you’ without the ‘I’ first, because if you don’t he’s immediately stopping you to ask if you’re okay, if he’s upset you in any way, and he always has this cute pout on his face, it’s his ‘serious’ face… that you can’t help but want to squish until his skin is stressed red. If it was merely just an accident, telling him it slipped your mind, he always lets out the biggest sigh of relief, carefully grabbing at your face to pull you into a kiss. Along with this he doesn’t like the word ‘too’ like, “I miss you too.” and “I love you too” it sounds forced to him, like you’re saying it back only because he said it first, he needs to know that it’s an authentic ‘i love you’ and not a pity ‘i love you’😞

Bf!Hyunwoo who is so stubborn that if you get into the smallest of disagreements he’s immediately quiet, face of stone, but is still bulldozing his head into your chest so you can cuddle. He’ll only hum his answers out if you’re asking him any questions, fingers threading through his soft hair, eventually he’d crash out from this and would wake up like nothing ever happened🙄 he’d start talking though, so you know it was never that serious, he just likes being dramatic so you’ll smother him in your love after.

Bf!Hyunwoo who sings/plays the piano for you any chance he gets, he loves being your background noise + it’s a good excuse to be in your presence while you’re studying, reading, doing any of your hobbies that don’t involve sound. A hum leaves your lips as you mindlessly nod, looking down to find your fingers furiously typing on your keyboard before looking up at your monitor, making sure everything looked well. “Oh, really?” you glance at your phone that was prompted up against your book, displaying your side profile to the boy that sat on the other side of the screen, a small chuckle leaving your lips at the boy's words. “I’m telling you, it means good luck or something,” your best friend tries to reason after finding a random ladybug on his shoulder. He thought it meant good luck and the day never seemed to prove him wrong. He even got an A+ on a test he didn’t even study for! “Sure hyunwoo..” your head shakes at his innocence, powering off your monitor since you were done with your homework for the night, moving your phone so it was placed right in front of you.

“Wait.. can you see me well?” you wave your hand in case your video call decides to lag, leaning back against your chair so hyunwoo could see you better. “Yeah, you look fine,” he shoots a thumbs up, before placing his chin on the back of his hand, his eyes boring into the camera so it seemed like he was staring at you. “Anyways.. How was your day?” He looks intently like he was going to take notes for an exam, a small smile riizing as you always liked how hyunwoo gave you his undivided attention.

“Me? Hmm..” you think back to your day, although nothing much happened. “I finished my project early, which meant I had some free time to relax before my other load of homework, and to call you.” Hyunwoo smiles at being mentioned in your tight schedule, lifting his head to get a sip of his water. “How is school doing? Anything too hard?”

“Nah, it's nothing difficult. Just a lot of it that it kinda makes me forget how to breathe,” you chuckle, laying your cheek on your desk as a yawn leaves your lips. “You must be tired,” he quietly observes, tracing your laid down figure with his eyes. He wished he was in your room, laying you down onto your bed and gently draping a soft blanket over your warm body. You’ve done so much this year, and the only thing hyunwoo wants is for you to close your eyes, rest and recharge your mind for the next day. “I’m okay though,” you hum, a small smile on your face although your eyes were feeling a bit heavy.

“Oh?”

You hum again, closing your eyes so you could hopefully open them at the next second, but it felt hard, as if your eyelids were glued together. Hyunwoo chuckles, “you should get some rest, though.” your best friend was almost tempted to turn off the call so you could get some quiet time, but seeing how peaceful you looked, he didn't want to leave you. So he brings his phone closer to his lips, whispering more about his day although he was sure you couldn't hear him, but he knew how much you liked his comforting voice.

“Hey..” he whispers your name after a while, hearing nothing but soft snores on the other line. He thinks back to the ladybug earlier today and how it gave him good luck, using that superstition to guide him into the words he never thought he would say in front of you. “I love you.. More than a friend.” Another smile curls the tips of his lips before whispering ‘good night’ into the mic, finally turning off the call, while wishing you have good dreams. Dreams filled with pretty skies and joyful smiles, maybe even a ladybug or two.

Hyunwoo carefully untangles the ribbon on the small pink box in his hands and removes the lid, revealing the shiny silver anklet he'd bought just for you. Jewellery was way too much for a Valentines gift for a CRUSH, he knows that, but the moment he saw those charms glisten as he walked past the window of the jewellery store, he just couldn't help it.

He carefully closes the box back up, tying the ribbon back up as neatly as it was before and placing it with utmost care onto his bedroom desk. He flops back onto his bed, a smile on his face so wide his eyes have practically disappeared as his mind conjures up all sorts of daydreams of how you might react to his gift. He almost slaps himself at the picture of you in his mind blushing, telling him you like him back. That's when he decides its time for bed, but even after settling down in his pyjamas, lights off, his nerves forbid him from sleeping.

As he walks to school the next day, the jewellery box tucked securely into his bag and his own heartbeat ringing in his ears, he comes to the realisation that he's basically confessing to you today. If his gift were chocolates or flowers or something else cliché, he could easily just give the gift and pass it off as 'It's Valentines day! So I wanted to give you something nice!'

His gift being one that almost drained his bank account made passing it off like that not so easy.

His eyes never failed to wander to your desk as he entered the classroom, today being no different. If anything, his eyes are glued to the desk, searching for any sign that someone else may have had similar plans of leaving a gift. He breathes a sigh of relief at your empty desk before sitting down at his own and pulling out a pen and some paper. His cheeks prickle with heat as he writes a note that reads:

"I really really like you. Like really really really like you. I have a gift for you, for Valentines day. Please meet me on the rooftop at the end of the day."

The way he giggles to himself as he read over the note makes him glad he arrived so early today, leaving him alone in the classroom. He knows that everything about this is cliché, but the thought of meeting you up there and confessing all he feels makes his body feel like it has electricity running through it. He carefully folds the paper and presses the note face down on your desk before making himself comfortable at his own desk and waiting for people to arrive. His mind can't stop running through millions of scenarios and he buries his brightly blushing face into his hands as his feet fidget impatiently.

The day passes too fast yet too slow at the same time and as the final bell rings, he bounds up the school stairs to the rooftop, almost tripping at least 3 times. He throws the door open to see the deserted rooftop. "She's not here.." he thinks, stepping out and watching as all the students filter through the school gates, excited to finally go home. "I'll wait." He sits cross legged on the ground, placing his bag next to him as he holds his chin in his hand and watches the people down below. Freshly formed and well established couples are both mingling too, after all, it's Valentines day. His eyes wander through all the people he sees, taking everything in as his mind continues to race with every passing moment that you don't show up. He notices one couple kissing at the gates and he quickly averts his eyes as the image of you begins to form in his head once again, his face turning tomato red for about the 90th time today.

Minutes pass and eventually there are only a few scattered people making their way out of the gates. The school is practically empty at this point and he can feel his eyes sting as he sighs and picks himself up off of the ground. Hoisting his bag over his shoulder, he makes his way through the door and down the school steps again, eventually ending up in the hallway where his classroom is right before the entrance. Suddenly someone barrels into the side of him and they almost tumble to the ground until he grabs their waist to steady them.

"Woah are you...oka-" without warning, you're looking up at him with those beautiful eyes he's always adored. What's worse? He's holding your waist, body practically pressed up to his as if you two were slow dancing. KABOOM. All at once his heart is racing, his whole body is on fire and he can barely think straight, your hands resting against his chest as you look up at him with puppy eyes.

"S-sorry, I have to get going!" He can't help but notice a red tint on your own face as well as you pull yourself away from him and begin rushing up the stairs. "The stairs to the roof..." he thinks to himself as you disappear from his sight.

Without hesitation, he runs after you, pushing open the door to see your beautiful figure standing solemnly on the rooftop. The setting sun has painted the sky with a golden colour the reflects down onto the world below, making you look especially gorgeous in his eyes. You whip your head around at the sound of the door opening and your eyes meet his. "Oh...it's you, you scared me." You awkwardly chuckle.

"H-Hyunwoo..." he stutters as the door closes behind him.

"Pfft- I know your name silly, you're in my class." Your cheeks hold a pink tint as you step towards him, making his breath catch in his throat and his heart pick up again.

"Oh um...it's a little cliché," you carefully take out a piece of paper from your pocket, the piece of paper that he wrote the note on, "someone left me this note confessing and telling me to meet them here...but there's no one here." You place the note back in your pocket and chuckle awkwardly. "I must've taken too long I suppose...but maybe it's better this way anyway." He takes a step towards you, listening intently. His heart beats hard at your words.

"Better this way?" He questions. A guilty expression appears on your face.

"Yeah well...I was going to reject them..." A sad smile sits on your face, an expression that makes his heart sting. What stings more though, are the words that just came from your mouth. You look down at the ground but he can still see your ears poking through your hair, bright red. "I like someone else...."

With an exasperated sigh he sinks to the ground, resting his back against the door. His heart aches and he clenches his jaw to keep tears from spilling over, he'll save the crying for when he's at home alone. You look up and rush over, kneeling in front of him. "Woah, hey, are you okay?"

Hanging his head, he mumbles, "I wrote that note."

"W-what..?"

He looks into your eyes, the colour of his cheeks proving what he was saying. "I like you. I really, really like you..." Your hand flies up over your mouth, feeling guilty for what you'd done. At least, that's what he thought until your whole face turned a very bright shade of red, brighter than he's ever seen on you. From behind your hand, he can hear a few muffled words that make his whole brain stop working.

"Y-you're the one...I like..."

Somehow, tears threaten to spill over his eyes even more than they did before and he quickly rustles through his bag for the jewellery box, handing it to you gently, his eyes watching you carefully as if afraid to miss any expression you make. Your small hands timidly take the box and his eyes trace your fingers as you untie the ribbon. Removing the lid, you gasp at the anklet, stars in your eyes as you delicately pick it up and observe it. Neither of you are able to utter a single word as you look into his eyes excitedly before shifting to sit cross legged and wrapping the beautiful silver around your ankle. You choke out a giggle followed by a single tear.

His eyes stay glued to your ankle, something about the girl he's longed for wearing something he gave to her, like a confirmation that she's his, makes his fingers and heart tingle. He lays his fingertips on your cheek, gently wiping the tear from your skin and you look back at him. There's no longer a smile on his face, just an immense amount of love and adoration in his eyes as he takes in the woman in front of him, as if he's lost all his shyness in this moment. His eyes flicker down to your lips, curved in a sweet smile and his fingers on your cheek become his whole palm, cupping your face. His heart rate reaches a new high as his eyes go back up to meet yours, only to see that they're shut, as if giving him permission to do what he was thinking. Before he hesitates, he leans forward, placing the softest, briefest kiss on your lips. A kiss you could've convinced yourself never happened from how quick and light it was. Your eyes flutter open, meeting his half-lidded eyes and his face redder than the dusk sky.

Hyunwoo was always someone in class that chatted a lot, never running out of things to say or stories to share. But now, it seems as if he can't find a single word.
