Imperial/Rebel OC: Captain Ekaterina Z(hakov)
A little bit late for OC sunday but I finally decided to share something about my (totally not self-indulgent) Imperial/Rebel OC.
Cousin of the brillant Alexsandr Kallus she attended the Royal Imperial Academy on Coruscant with him shortly after the Empire was founded. She joined the Imperial Navy as a starfighter pilot until she went AWOL several years later and joined the Phoenix Cell under Commander Jun Sato.
Also there is definitely a lack of Imperial OCs? (I wanna hear everything about them!) Where are you hiding? She doesn't miss a lot of the Imperial military except the uniforms (they looked just so classy) and the travel biscuits. (but please only the yellow ones!)
Also she's the Captain who likes to harass (affectionately) Rampart in this little ficlet.

Seafair / Airshow weekend means it’s time to post Starfighter pilot photos. This is Flask, my Resistance X-wing pilot. She’s CO of Alpha Squadron, and this was taken during a shore leave on Batuu. There was a bit of a run-in with the First Order, but it was time for the Rise of the Resistance and we got away clean. We also connected with secret agent Vi Moradi.

“I am Moana of Motonui and you will get in my X-Wing, fly across the galaxy, and restore the heart of Te Fiti!”
Here’s Jedi Moana! Since Moana is a voyager and travels using the stars as her guide, I thought it’d be fitting for her to be a pilot flying among the stars. Her lightsaber is inspired by her oar (complete with a Maui autograph) and the shell she leaves behind on Motonui… and the heart of Te Fiti as the kyber crystal! As for HeiHei… I thought about turning him into some Star Wars critter, but it just seems appropriate that no matter what universe he’s in, he’s just a chicken 😂
