In too many stories, the protagonists kill God. God is not redeemable. But, in dying, God is not held fully accountable for God’s own actions. In the locked tomb series, killing and dying are shown as easier than living. But what if God were to live? What if instead of swift dispatching, John Gaius must atone, take care, give back? What if redemption runs through him, the same way destruction does?

@irishironclad Maybe if you and those like you acted more like Jesus of Nazareth, others would be more inclined to interact with you.
You have heard that it was said, “You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.” But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5:43-48)

Fun fact!
In the French version of the Bible, Jesus tells the waves, "Tais-toi," which literally means shut up.
So yeah, you can tell people to shut up as much as you want, because Jesus did it first.

Somebody has to say it…
Hey! That person you are tailgating…
Did it occur to you it might be an elderly person who would rather not drive, but has no other way to the grocery store or pharmacy?
Did it occur to you it might be someone who cannot afford to get a speeding ticket, because paying it would take food from their table?
Did it occur to you it might be a grandparent with precious children on board, who is extra careful because hurting them would not only hurt her, but also her child?
Did it occur to you it might be me—someone who has learned that spending your life pushing and shoving your way from here to there is a life wasted?
Slow down, take a deep breath, and let it occur to you—tailgating is not what Jesus would do!!!
I said what I said.
Love and hugs,
Kathy 💗💗💗

I cropped out the author of this commentary on the childrens book,The Little Red Hen ☝️ I am an admitted crazy chicken lady so I love this classic children's story, but I very much do NOT like this post! 😑 I absolutely disagree with this sentiment. All people deserve to have their basic needs met-food, shelter, healthcare. The comments on this post are all in support of letting struggling people just starve-how sickening. And they wonder why ppl are turned off by christianity😒
