Daniel Radcliffe: 'I was a very disorganised talkative boy, and there are some people who just don't do well at school. I am not somebody who will learn best when you tell me to sit down and be quiet and sit still. I learn by talking back and engaging in conversation and walking around'
So many of us neurodivergent peeps are active learners. The current learning system will not get the best out of these learners. We need a variety of different education environments, we need different types of assessments that promote a varied range of skills.

My grandmother once gave me a tip:
In difficult times, move forward in small steps.
Do what you have to do, but little by little.
Don’t think about the future
or what may happen tomorrow.
Wash the dishes.
Remove the dust.
Write a letter.
Make a soup.
You see?
Advance step by step.
Take a step and stop.
Rest a little.
Praise yourself.
Take another step.
And then another.
You won’t notice, but your steps will grow more and more.
