An artist named Wurms made this art of Twitter avatar comparison with Discord photo profile, and ScalyNeighbor decided to quote retweet the art and suggesting if people draw those icons interacting with each other. And thus, i draw Kyoya with...... bowties on his head? And Kai in the same room? What do you expect....... i guess they will not talk and prefer to leave. Or even worse, they will challenge each other or making Kyoya listening to Kai cursing on him.

Got a new wurm for Christmas this year!!

Trench Wurm from Invasion, one of those occasional oddball black wurms that shows up every now and then.

Looking at the flavor text it seems like maybe these should've been errata'ed to be Phyrexian Wurms, but apparently that didn't happen? I guess maybe the wurms themselves aren't actually Phyrexian but they were like... driven out of their natural environment and into populated areas (hence destroying nonbasic lands, usually cities or castles or something along those lines) by the Phyrexians. Sort of like a "launch a whole beehive over the castle wall" tactic, where the bees used by that side's army aren't officially "with them" despite being used as a weapon by them.

Anyway... with that addition, I now have 90 out of the 104 Magic cards ever printed with the creature type Wurm! That's about 86% of all wurms. Going by different artwork rather than different card names, I have 83% (105 out of 126.)

Kind of a crazy thought that I'm only about 20ish cards away from having at least one of every alternate art version of every wurm.

Not sure what I'll do next after that... one from each expansion they were printed in? Start collecting foil versions of those that have one? Any card with a wurm in the art even if it's not explicitly wurm-related in some way? (I am already collecting all the different wurm tokens, cards that create them, and cards that explicitly mention a wurm -- like Wurm's Tooth or Slagwurm Armor for example.)

It's a shame this card was put in Commander. I would've loved to build a deck around a Wurm Lord.

In any self-respecting Wurm deck, this is a 1-mana Rootbreaker Wurm every turn, on top of buffing the rest of your board. And he only costs 4 to cast himself! The art is lovely, he’s standing on a Serpentine... this is a good day for the best tribe in Magic :)

Aaaaand here’s some random wurms!

The upper-left is a variety known as a Muckwurm that lives specifically in swampy, muddy areas.  They’re on the smaller side (by wurm standards, anyway) but are still comparable to the biggest snakes in length when fully grown.  The dangly bits on their chins are most likely some sort of extra sensing organ (like whiskers) that helps them track prey in low visibility conditions like murky water or thick fog.

The rest are random designs without any specific idea behind them.
