India’s triple gold medallist at the 2022 edition of the Commonwealth Games, Sharath Kamal, has opted out of next month’s World Table Tennis Championships, citing personal reasons.

Team USA stunned Jamaica in the 4x100 relay with the USA winning gold in 41.14 seconds and Team Jamaica (41.18) taking silver. Team Germany (42.03) won bronze.
