Thief - Harry Hook x reader - Oneshot

“where is it? I swear I hung it up right ‘ere?” Uma stepped down into Harry’s cabin, leaning against the doorway with her arms crossed as she watched her first mate run about his room, looking very confused and muttering about something.
“lookin’ for something?” Uma asked, tilting her head and smirking as Harry jumped at her sudden voice, his cheeks flushing as she chuckled at his cat-like tendencies. Harry sighed, rubbing the back of his head; messing up his already messy hair. “Aye, me jacket. It’s been missin’ fer like two days. I can’t find It anywhere!”
Uma snorted, and shook her head. “Harry,” he turned to her, raising his brow as he glanced about the room-wondering where the hell his jacket went. “if it ain't where you left it, and you can't find it anywhere?” Harry sighed, dragging his hand down his face. “someone took it.” He grumbled, now wondering who had his jacket. “And there's only two people stupid enough to do tha’.”
Uma smirked, raising her brows again. “Ooooh be careful what you say dude, or your girl ain’t gonna be happy being called stupid.” Harry chuckled, shaking his head. “Aaand ye jus’ let me know who took it, though CJ couldn’t’ve taken it, she’s halfway ‘cross the world.” Harry mumbled, pushing past Uma and making his way off the ship, taking the short trip back to Auradon prep and speeding through the dorm building halls.
He smiled at the thought of you in his jacket, you loved the damn thing, you had told him if you could you would steal it and keep it forever. He just laughed, taking the red leather tailcoat off and draping it around your shoulders, smiling into his hand as you cuddled into the leather, messing about with the zipper on his sleeves.
Since then, whenever you could-you would just yoink his jacket. And he would find you just wandering about wearing his jacket, looking all too happy.
He hadn't told you he commissioned Evie to make a copy in your size(with some edits to the original design, such as a hood, and a detachable tail.) but it still filled him with all the warm feelings, knowing you loved something of his so much you would steal it.
He finally made it to your room, using the spare key you had given him to get inside, grinning as he spotted you on your bed-eyes locked onto your switch with his jacket on. It was fully zipped up, the tail flared out on the bed behind you as you curled into your lap, your tongue sticking out of your mouth as you focused on your game.
“Darlin’,” Harry cooed, chuckling as you jumped and nearly tossed your switch across the room, holding your hand to your chest as you whipped around to look at him. “Harry!” you breathed, closing your eyes and smiling at your boyfriend. “You scared the hell outta me!”
He just laughed, closing the door behind him and joining you on the bed, kissing your cheek and smiling against your skin as you giggled at the feeling. He leaned into your ear, whispering as you shivered at the feeling of him being so close. “ye hav’ somethin’ of mine, my love~”
You just gave a cheeky grin, and in a split second, you were off the bed and running out of the room, cackling as Harry gave chase. “it’s mine now!”

Isle landmarks
Port - divided in between three crews, heavily regarded as a very unpleasant area by, well. Almost everyone else. (Important to note: this goes for every single area of the Isle.) Lives at night a lot.
Jolly Roger of Captain James Hook
Scattered Hope of Captain Harriet Hook. Comparatively safer to be around, you might find some goods "accidentally left out" if the Captain's feeling it.
Lost Revenge of Captain Uma Triskelion. Safest of the pirate ships unless you are allied to Mal or insult Uma. (...You know what, I take that back.) Also, it's a cult.
Chipp Shoppe. Firmly under the rule of Lost Revenge.
Hook's inlet. That's a fancy name for a building that port adults go to pass out in by the morning at that brings substantial money to Captain Hook. (His kids are not allowed to work there. They kept stealing from the counter more than they sold.)
Serpents prep, aka the school Captain Hook was forced to fund after dr F refused to deal with two if his children at once. They've got sea ponies and surprisingly good curriculum.
The centre. Counts as, well, semi-neutral territory?
Tremaine salon. The only actual neutral territory on the Isle. You see, if you fight by the Tremaines, you won't get your hair done. (this works because the Villains and their kids are vain as fuck and value their style over their lives. Literally.) Also, Tremaines treat most of their customers as particularly annoying cats.
Mad Maddy's Apothecary. This could count as neutral territory but Mim's are playing favourites. One rule: Do NOT make out in the Apothecary.
Rose Garden of the Queen of Hearts. Yeah no. Do not go near if you like your life.
Dragon Hall, AKA the school Dr Facilier funded for very innocent and inconspicuous reasons that have nothing to do with the other Villains owing him for babysitting their brats and molding the young minds to his picture, how dare you even suggest that.
The Arcade. Funded by Dr F too and operated mostly by his daughters. Also no ulterior motives on this one. (If little kids don't come to school, they're at Arcade. It's always good to know where the kids you're paid to keep alive are.)
Storm Hall. A mostly abandoned building slightly off-the-centre that Isle kids use for official gang meetings.
Frollo's church. Later, it's ruins. The building has suffered from entirely natural structural instability ever since the first Isle kids learned what matches are. While Frollo's alive, it's unsafe to be around if you're a girl, person of colour, or of magical heritage.
Yes, there is a problem of Frollo's being entirely too close to Dragon Hall. Dr F had it under control! Really!
The Market. Yeah. Market. With very reasonable prices that are not theft at all.
Maleficent's Bargain Castle overlooks the market and her goblins provide security for shopkeepers who are willing to pay a steep price. No one's sure why Maleficent tolerates the market so close, she hates people.
Jafar's Junk Shop. If you lost something, there's like seventy percent chance it'll end up there. I've got nothing else to add.
Gaston's Duels Without Rules, slightly off the main market. And yes. It is without rules. Do not ask about the blood under the dumpsters please.
Hell Hall. Few streets down but still close enough, you'll know by the screaming. Close enough for Cruella and her minions to get the finest fabrics whenever she wishes.
Witches Academy. Yes, it is entirely too close to the market for how flammable the stands are. However, the Mims are doing what they do best and being bitches on main.
Landmarks
The End Of The World. Steep cliff on the off-side of Auradon, favourite hang-out spot for Isle kids. Who says they hadn't spent hours there looking into the waves and contemplating life, they're lying.
The Skull Rock. On the Isle for Reasons. Y'know, a generation of kids robbed off their childhood? Magic banned off? (The Isle of the Lost is Neverland and it's your problem now.)
The Jungle. No. Do NOT. You do realise that's where all the tigers and snakes and lions and wolves dwell. Also called the Zoo by kids who like dark humour and/or have a deathwish.
The Caves. There's an entrance to Hades' cave somewhere. Do not try to find it (unless you are Celia Facilier), he's on vacation and doesn't wish to be disturbed.
Other
Castle Across the Way. Is not close to the centre or the market to be counted as such. That's because the Evil Queen refused to interact with the commoners and looked substantially scarrier than Lady Tremaine while communicating that.
The Hun camp. Do NOT attempt to find it.

so how do u think the founding of Auradon effected Neverland as a whole ?
I honestly don't know how any of the lands function in the Descendants world haha. I think every last bit of world building was very very rushed and half assed. But I personally think places like Neverland or Wonderland would be lower priority to the king or other royals, since Auradon seems pretty focused on themselves
Plus in the first movie the visiting tourney team is from Neverland, so I think they're like... A ways away. An island off the coast but far from Auradon.
And does Beast just go around nabbing up everyone's magic or just the people whose kingdoms he absorbed?? Because I could see other lands being like "Umm no, we didn't do that. People can fly and use pixie dust and stuff, it's cool."
I dunno, I think it would be funny if Beast was "elected" president of all the prince and princess kingdoms but other places just... aren't doing that because they're their own thing? That makes sense to me

ages of Descendants characters
at the time of D3 they'd be roughly...

the Smee twins: 12
it's stated in Descendants 2 that Mal was 16 in Descendants (2015). what with them seeming quite young in Wicked World, all of the events that occur and time that passes in each novel, and them being moderately functioning adults in Descendants 3, the idea that they spend a good 3-4 years in Auradon makes a lot of sense.
it also has interesting connotations.
Carlos de Vil was only 14 or 15 in the first movie. this makes sense from his portrayal in the movie and isn't much of a difference from the others' being 16 - in Auradon. consider the dynamics on the Isle of the Lost, though: in the gang scene, he was probably the youngest major player of all the villain kids.
we know that there are six months between Descendants (2015) and Descendants 2. in this time, Uma and Harry win the Lost Revenge, build their crew and reputation, and secure all of Mal's old territory. that isn't a lot of time for the new normal on the Isle of the Lost to be solidified. Uma and Harry are still riding the waves of their sudden ascension to being major players on the Isle, which adds credibility to Gil's scenes in the movie and their astounding confidence in just. impulsively ransoming the fucken King of Auradon.
this timeline also means that there are 2-3 YEARS between Descendants 2 and Descendants 3. this makes the animosity between Uma and Mal over her crew's abandonment of the Isle - and Uma's character development into such firm determination to be a savior for the Isle kids - all the more reasonable.
so for 2 or 3 years, Mal and Ben are finishing school, settling into their relationship, and Mal is being prepped to be Queen; Jay, Evie, and Carlos are navigating school, friendships, and creating new roles for themselves outside of the Isle; Uma is roaming free outside the barrier, investigating the world but unable to do anything to help her crew back on the Isle; Harry and Gil are trapped on the Isle with no updates from Uma or news of Auradon, stepping in to adapt to the loss of the leader of their relatively newly-established crew; and all of the other VKs are left to rot without any follow up on the exchange program.
according the the novels Mal, Jay, and Evie graduate shortly before Descendants 3, which helps make sense for why - and why then - they were entrusted with selecting the next group of VKs to bring over. it makes more sense for them to suddenly be permitted to visit the Isle of the Lost to spread propaganda, applications, and mentor the kids when they couldn't before. Auradon brought one batch of VKs all the way into adulthood and now that they are proving to be promisingly responsible citizens, they're finally moving to bring over some more.
Mal, Jay, Evie, Ben, Audrey, and the others being in that painful post-graduation transitional period of life also makes a lot of sense for their actions in Descendants 3. they're no longer in high school and are suddenly confronted with deciding who they want to be and what they want to do with their lives. we see Jay settle into mentoring the new VKs very comfortably, seeming more comfortable in his own skin than he had been before; Evie is masterfully managing a home, business, and boyfriend; it's a logical time for Audrey to snap, when she'd managed to hold herself together previously; and it adds to the pressure Mal and Ben were under that inspired them to agree with closing the barrier.
canon pieces imply that it was days between the final battle of Descendants 3 and Hades' waking Audrey and that the barrier was lowered immediately after this takes place. this means that Ben and Mal immediately moved for dropping the barrier after Hades' speech, all of the Council supported them now in doing so (????), and there were no practical or legislative roadblocks to completing the action. very little time passed for Uma and Harry to wrangle people on the Isle; Audrey was released back into public favor at the celebration literally immediately; and there wasn't time for many conversations or relational resolution among the Core Four.
canon is stupid and I'm especially horrified by the lack of logic in that last part... but the more I consider these characters according to this timeline, the more I like it.

"In the fourth novel (Escape from the Isle of the Lost), set before D3, Mal, Ben, Evie, Doug, and Jay graduate. D3 opens either months or a year after that, so we can assume they're 19 or 20. Still young, but legally able to marry. Carlos and Jane are seniors, so 18 by that point. The younger characters are all over 11, but younger than 15; as Auradon Prep only accepts boarders from 11 and up."

I've seen people talk about Uma, Harry, and Gil all being the same age, and of Harry being the same age as Mal, so I assume the pirates would also be 18-20.

@panthera-tigris-venenata and @tiredflowercrown asked for this so here’s an explanation of my demon hunter au!
the basic idea is, when beast brought together all the fairytale worlds, it didn’t just bring villains back from the dead. it brought back demons that had been previously killed or locked away (many of whom were villains anyway, but the point here is they’re stronger). having so many powerful demons/sorcerers/whatever (chernabog, the horned king, zhan tiri, chatana, and maybe maleficent i haven’t decided which version of her i want to use are the biggest threats, but then there’s the other villains, many of whom are still magic) throws all magic into wack, meaning it’s stronger, wilder, and there’s practically no barrier between the natural world and the otherworlds.
this leads to the creation of the king’s guard, a special order meant to take down the demon lords. initially, many of the more magical kingdoms (avalor, camelot, kumandra, corona, etc.) that are threatened by them ally with beast to trap/kill them. they end up trapping them on the isle, built off neverland. it was meant just for demon lords and their allies, the biggest threats, not the villains that yeah, are magic, or dangerous, but they’re not near gods in power (like, the evil queen is a threat, but still human, so she doesn’t necessarily need to be on the isle, for example, charmington can deal with her just fine). but to make the isle, beast had to trap and kill plenty of innocent people, many of whom were magic, which is a thing i like to call foreshadowing.
after the demon lords are locked up, beast turns on all magic users and creatures. in his mind, all magic is dangerous, and has the potential to be just like the demons they just locked up. and well, locking up the demons didn’t really calm magic or make demons vanish, so really, he’s just finishing the job, right?
all the magic kingdoms that had previously allied with beast split, formed their own alliance known as just the rebellion or the guild. leaders include elena, phoebus, jasmine, ariel, repunzel, raya, and arthur. if their kingdom is highly magical, chances are at least some of their people joined.
they fight, and slowly, beast slowly forces the rebellion to surrender. most of his success comes from having some very fanatical people on his side, mainly: frollo. i wasn’t going to make it a religious persecution type story, but the idea of frollo working for beast but so does phoebus and the dynamics that brings basically wrote itself so here we are.
anyway, most of the rebel kingdoms are forced to surrender with heavy consequences to them, one constant being sending most of their magic users to the isle (many of whom are characters we consider villains anyway for consistency of why they’re there). the only ones that are allowed to stay are those who either hide and escape the hunts, or who join the kings guard, now the only organization allowed to use magic.
when the rebellion is successfully defeated, frollo is sent to the isle to ensure it remains so. many on the isle helped build it, they know best how to take it down. i’m not sure if those on the isle will maintain any contact with those off the isle, but either way there’s still very much so a war happening on the isle.
which is the situation the villains kids are born into. there are three alliances they can be born to: the king’s guard (many human villains like gaston ally with frollo. they were thrown on the isle because if magic users are criminals, what’s to say criminals aren’t magic users?), the demon lords, or the rebellion. many drift to the rebellion eventually.
no matter where the kids are born, they’re brought up for war. the king’s guard trains within themselves, usually parents teaching kids. a few are sent to auradon to train, but never kids of major prisoners, always kids of guards that were stationed there. they send kids into war at 16 at the youngest, legally, but on the isle some kids are sent in even younger (either because they’re prodigies, or because they’re hated, like gil, and their families are hoping they’ll die in action). they hoard any supplies sent to the isle, and they kill indiscriminately. to them, their job won’t be done, and the world won’t be stable again, until everyone the isle is dead. not many kids end up leaving.
most kids born to demon lords are raised to bring an era of darkness to the world, to amass as much power as they can. many of the magical villains who weren’t rebels are allied with them (evil queen, Jafar, etc). they’re isolated, usually, but not always. this how many, like jay, are able to leave (in jay’s case, he wandered into rebel territory and ran into the 40 thieves, who adopted him on the spot). it’s brutal, and most don’t have a choice in what they do. they’re the ones most often killed by their parents. they’re usually some of the most powerful magic uses on the isle, too. many kids from this group escape eventually, and join the rebels.
the rebels are a majority of the isle. not many of them actually fight, but plenty of magic users were sent to the isle unfairly and are under their protection. like the kids in the other groups, they’re raised for war, but it’s much more a community effort than and isolated thing. the schools, dragon hall, serpent prep, and the witch academy are run by their gangs and are very military focused. they send kids into the field at 15, but that’s a recent rule and many of the older kids have been fighting much longer by necessity. the rebels is the alliance many of the canon gangs fall into. those who ran from the other alliances often fight, but only after they’ve proven their allegiance.
there are villains who don’t really fall into any group, like hook, and other never land pirates, who were just vibing before everything happened, or the de vils who just wanted to run a crime empire why are they in the middle of a war now.
in auradon, things are only slightly better. they’re not necessarily in a total war, but the isle if anything made the demon issue worse. the prep is a school meant to train king’s guard knights, and the former rebel kingdoms are forced to send their royal kids there to keep an eye on them and keep the kingdom in line. kids who aren’t royal are allowed to attend, but even they have king’s guards in their family. they start training officially (but many have trained longer at home) at 14 and ends at 18-20. (the reason 16 is the legal fighting age for frollo’s men is because at 16 trainees — squires, as they’re called — begin going on hunts with senior students) the reason they can afford sending people into the field when they’re older is because they have more people, and can afford the wait for more soldiers. the isle doesn’t have that luxury.
magic users are hunted and executed regularly. some are still sent to the isle, but beast finds just killing them is quicker. they focus more on killing witches than demons, or figuring out and ending the source of the issue, believing if they just kill all witches then the world will right itself. therefore, many illegal hunting groups formed, who hunt demons (and often still witches) instead of the organization meant to do that.
so what’s the plot? ben still gets kids off the isle. how? well, his argument is that they’re sent into the field before they’re legally old enough (by auradon standards) and therefore the rebels are committing war crimes and the kids shouldn’t be there. it’s flimsy, and the kids who he chooses to come over are all rebels, but it’s on purpose.
growing up, ben is mentored by phoebus, captain of the kings guard in order to protect the romani (in paris at least) for as long as he can. beast intended it to be a “see what happens when you rebel” type thing, but instead phoebus adopted another son and made sure he knew exactly how horrible his father is.
so ben brings kids over, knowing and hoping they’ll bring their rebellion with them. and also, because of the fighting on the isle, the barrier has been slowly eroding, and many of the remaining rebels in auradon are starting to think that’s the issue.

Things that would make sense Tuesday 004:
004. A military state of power. I think the isle being a military state with an academy that trains the kids to fight and survive with militant tactics actually could fit quiet well on the isle, and I have tried a number of different scenarios for it.
The villains are doing more than lazing about or coasting by. They had to build and craft their homes, renovate and scavenge to create their lairs. Find clothes and food. And they did it all while surrounded by other villains. Not just close friends and family. But also strangers and other beings out to make the best life for themselves first and foremost.
This introduces one of a few reasons a militant state might arise. With some many unknowns, and the need to protect themselves from each other, having a stricter environment could help to create nice clean lines for them to know when they are skirting close and or crossing a line drawn in the sand.
This also allows them to train their kids and to break any sort of advantage others might have from having them, but training them to be first for the isle, second for their blood. Which would bring another reason for the militant state.
An army. If Auradon comes to the Isle looking to claim something from the villains they wouldn't be entirely defenseless, one because they are capable, and two because they made their children capable as well.
A military state would allow the population of the isle to operate as an army of sorts, and they would all of tasks, jobs, and emotional training of a sort to some extent. Certainly more than do better, be evil. 'Love is for babies', 'trust is imaginary', 'everyone is against you', 'only I, your parent, knows best', and other things.
And these are just brushing the surface of what a militant state could look like and what benefits and plot points it brings to the table for world building.

The core four take over auradon!

Mal: Manipulative to the point where you don’t know yourself anymore, she convinces you that your evil, if you get second thoughts or if your a royal then she happily reminds you how terrible you are. Shes content with breaking you down and then building you up to her expectation, on the bright side, you wont even notice. And soon enough you'll be living whatever life Mal wants you to even if it never appealed to you before. She wont kidnap you because she doesn't have to, she can fit every piece of the puzzle in even if she has to replace some pieces; You wont have to worry about friends or family when she replaces them with the VKs.
Jay: He's a sadist in a playful way, holding things above your head, scaring you with fake(or real) bugs, he acts a lot like an older brother before he shows romantic interest. Eventually the mocking becomes a bit much, and maybe you even resent him but he doesn't mind all too much; the world goes on along with the bullying, until it becomes lesser and you find yourself missing the occasional comment. Soon you feel better about yourself, and it catches you off guard when Jay asks you out you know better than to say no to him so you accept with a shy smile, hoping he would reveal it was all a prank. But it doesn't happen, and the days roll on with more toxic traits of his showing, its much too late by the time coronation hits, and he decides his pretty little damsel is much too soft to deal with the hardships auradon will face. He wont lock you up in a tower, he makes sure he keeps you hidden away in some castle on campus, boredom will be your best friend as he grows more and more scared of your gentleness being exploited, but you get pretty much anything you ask for (except to see your old friends, he doesn't like them so neither should you).
Carlos: Hes a softer guy, you wont even know he likes you until the day of the coronation. You wont have a chance to reject him once its over, but hes a little hurt at your hesitation, when you end up in a castle with all the other VKs darlings then youll understand why he just has to do this! You wouldnt last a day on the isle let alone in the new version of auradon, in all the panic nobody notices when Carlos slinks off with you in his arms, dropping you in a limo filled with the other darlings who are all handcuffed or tied with ropes on their legs and arms. The VKs pile in the limo with Carlos dropping them all off at the dorms in Auradon Prep, all of them being in the same room with all the exits locked and with corners of the room dedicated to each, eventually everyone loses hope and settles down in their corners while eating the food left for them. Soon enough the VKs enter and let everyone know that they succeeded in their plan with their parents wreaking havoc on innocent heroes outside, the cheerfulness they have won’t match the sobbing or fighting of the rest of the room, Some darlings who were likely picked for their feistier nature like Jays darling will fight and scratch at him while screaming all manners of insults. Carlos approaches you slowly with a smile on his face as you huddle in the corner trembling like a leaf in a storm even when he tries not to startle you, he grabs your arm and brings you over to a comfortable dorm which he quickly leaves in fear of making you become aggressive, he’s just so happy to have you and he knows one day you’ll be happy to have him too
Evie: She probably tugs on your heartstrings, making sure you want her even more than she wants you. But you really didn’t expect her to kiss you under the bleachers the day of the coronation let alone ask you to be her date to it, and it surprises you even more when chaos breaks out and she comes looking for you?! She's even more gentle than carlos, believing you are her true love, made just for her to enjoy after all she went through on the isle but her patience isnt an endless virtue even after all those years of seeming to wait for a prince to take advantage of, and when her patience does run out, there is nothing you will be able to do to calm the storm

harry couldn't stand that cj wouldn't move on and cj couldn't stand that harry would. at least, that was how it felt. harry was off being a big shot, a captain, a hero, a royal lapdog- which was far worse than the previous alternative. cj's disappointment was hard coded into the world they lived in now.

the streets were clean(er), the buildings were stable and the sun was shining. but that just meant it no longer felt like home. not for the first time she considered what it would be like to move away. to get on her dinky little boat and leave for good. he wasn't making the choice harder.

Isle kid Moodboards revamped part 1;
Hunter Claudias de Vil, the 28 year old son of Helga Sinclair and great nephew of Cruella de Vil. Older cousin of Ivy, Diego, and Carlos de Vil.
He was one of the kids who were brought to the isle when it was created, despite the fact that he was only 12 when he committed his crimes. Because of this and the fact that Ivy—who was 6 when she created her crimes—got sent to the isle with him, he's more than a bit bitter towards the heroes. Especially since he and Ivy were dead for a couple of years before the heroes decided to bring them back and send them to the isle just in time for Carlos to turn one.
He raised his cousins while living in hell hall and protected them the best he could while dealing with his own trauma.
He's a bit of a loner now. He is dating Jane's cousin, Eliza, and Jim Jr.
Ivana 'Ivy' Mallory de vil, the 22 year old daughter of Cameron Sandiago and niece of Cruella de Vil. Younger cousin of Hunter de Vil and older cousin of Diego and Carlos de Vil.
She is a pyromanic, cosmetic, beauty pageant queen who loves her family and regrets her past actions, even if she's still a bit two faced.
She likes soap operas, riding her bike, drinking, designing her own clothes, cars, weapons, lasers, fashion, dolls, building things, fire, and so on.
She is dating Grumpy's son, Gordon.
Diego Ethan De Vil, the 21 year old son of Cecil De Vil and nephew of Cruella De Vil.
Member of the Bad Apples, Harriet's crew, and the Anti-heroes' club.
He loves coke the beverage, music, social media, piracy, and tattoos, and doesn't want to be evil. He is a chill, laid back dude who doesn't always make the best decisions because of how impulsive he is but he's a great cousin regardless.
He has a thing for Doug's brother, Derek.
Jason 'Jace' Nelson Badun, the 17 year old son of Jasper Badun and the strong woman of The Ringmaster's Circus. Nephew of Horace Badun.
He is a member of the Anti-heroes club and a student at Dragon Hall but is also the muscle and co-founder of The Badun Detective Agency.
He lives in Carlos' treehouse with his cousin, which is also their base of operations.
He is a semi-responsible, semi-stable young man who is just trying to make the world a better place and protect those he cares about along with the innocents of the isle.

He is a member of the Anti-heroes club and a student at Dragon Hall but is also the leader and co-founder of The Badun Detective Agency.

He is a reckless smartass who is constantly planning to stick to Auradon the first chance he gets as he does his best to protect and avenge the innocents of the isle—who is constantly reminding people that he is a detective and not a stalker.
Lil Yaz Sorcerer of Enchancia, the 19 year old (at the time of wicked world) son of Cedric the sorcerer of Enchancia and Yzma. Oldest brother of Yzla and Zevon. Younger cousin of Zim, Calista, and Zam.
The Morally grey/choatic neutral one.
The carefree chameleon who keeps his cards close to his chest, doing whatever he wants and whatever benefits him and his family the most.
Lover of daggers, Shiney clothes, and potions, and the color purple. Also a baker and a rapper. Died of Appendicitis shortly before wicked world took place.

She is a friend of Cj's and is dating Reza Vizer.
Zevon Sorcerer of Enchancia, the 16 year old son of Cedric the sorcerer and Yzma. Younger brother of Yzla and Lil Yaz. Younger cousin of Calista, Zim, and Zam.
He has a pet crow like his dad and a pet cat.
He and his parents get along fine, and he constantly butts heads with his older hero sister, Yzla.
He likes baking and cooking like Kronk and love science and alchemy like his cousins and his parents.
He's good at parkour and singing, and magic and he loves hanging out with Cj and Freddie. He also loves doing fake magic for little kids. He takes alot after his dad and is scared of rejection.He can swim and likes pranking. He loves Kronk's spinach puffs, canoeing, and swimming. He can also sword fight but he's not the best at it.
He is hellbent on avenging his older brother and getting back at Auradon for his death, which has put him even more at odds with Yzla who doesn't appreciate his violent methods.

What infuriates you a lot with Descendants? With the world building to characters?
Whoooo boy! I have a lot to say about the world building and why it sucks. Sure going over every single detail can be boring as fuck but at the same time the world of Descendants felt very shallow and only there for pretty aesthetics. We only get a surface level of how magic works, the school culture is generic and we barely get a glimpse at the AK side of things. Just that their jerks and super rich and stupidly brought villains back to life specifically to punish them knowing full well kids exists and that they're making themselves complicit in child abuse but do nothing about it.
Come on- for a series built on moral grayness almost every adult hero was an asshole; and the AKs only there to be an obstacle or prop for a VK. You tell me Cinderella and Charming would not have raised such a bratty bitch like Chad (and why they named him that in the first place). Audrey's story was actually sad but again she was only there to be a prop in Mal's character development.
Oh wait Mal doesn't need any development. She's just perfect just the way she is! :]
The VKs aren't much better. The rest of the core four gets sidelined; Uma gets demonized for trying to do something for the Isle than sucking up to Auradon; Harry and Gil gets no real arc. The other VKs are more background characters than anything.
Prince Ben? Nothing but a prop. He is a trophy to be put on Mal's display case. He is a punching bag whenever the story sees fit. His own parents don't even respect him enough to consider his needs. Any moment he has that demonstrates him as an individual quickly gets wrapped up so the story can put him back in the box. Doesn't help the fandom hates him for all the crappy storytelling decisions.

Horror/Dark Descendants fic
I will get back to Dimesion Descendants soon, but I also want to start We’re not a fairytale, Audrey turns back time and I have this idea for a fic. It’s a darker/ Horror Horror Ben X OC fic :
OC is dragged up from the underworld (Hell) where she’s been living since she died and was banished around 15 years ago. To not get into the details, everyday was no pun intended literal hell and in this universe everyone who is in hell is a demon and after having a deal with a stronger demon she was able to come back to the human world. However she is not human of course, she’s a demon and in order to not literally rot to death she has to survive on human flesh and or blood (no bunny diets), kind of like a vampire or zombie but not really powerful, she can possess people if she wanted to for instance but for the most part she functions like a human. She meets Ben King of Auradon by chance after a few months after living in the woods near Auradon. (Not sure if I want to this to take place around D2 or D3) but either way mind catches her eating and is terrified of course. But this is Ben we’re talking about he has an dumbass level of kindness and decides to leave her be, and over the next few months he basically stalks her before building up a friendship/relationship with her. It’s a slow burner and he finally convinces her to move to Auradon with him and the story is basically about trying to keep her secret, her figuring out and accepting her past while the two of them fall in love. Of course Mal and the others get involved so there’s some drama in it. I wanted to explore a character who is going to be essentially very much so, worse than Mal. I read, and will write a lot of fics where Ben falls in love with someone else while being with Mal but it’s usually justified because Mal isn’t a good person in comparison to the other character and there’s usually no cheating. I wanted to explore this very not morally good character in this story and have the situation where it’s like “Yeah Mal’s a POS but is this person any better? or I’d rather have Mal than that Person etc etc

we follow the reader, Alice's daughter and Ben's best friend since childhood, as you help Ben with his first proclaimation as king: bringing the children of villains from the isle of the lost over to auradon. but when Ben starts acting... weird... you suspect something is afoot, more than just stress. You set out to save Ben from whatever's going on to protect your best friend, and might just realize somethings along the way.

this took me- so so long to get to, I'm sorry for the delay
so really, I came up with the idea kind of at random, and the first character I really thought up was Chandler Charming. I wanted a sibling of a canon character who would catch shit from her family for being friends with the villains. The rest- honestly- started out because I wanted to do a crochet project to go with this writing project and i was picking based on their parental color schemes, so I could use those colors in the crochet project that I still haven't started. Oops.
Chandler was the first one!
Every time I think I have a favorite- the others rise up to remind me why I love them. Like- I love Mollie, I love her sass and her wild child attitude. I love kind of the same things about Henry tho. He's definitely Harry's brother and he and Mollie definitely rile each other up. Which is why Blake is so good to have around. He is a voice of reason but also he is passionate about wanting VKs to feel comfortable in Auradon and will absolutely defend the people he cares about. Chandler starts out a little rough but she overcomes everything, everyone in her life telling her why VKs are bad and she sees the good things hidden beneath their armor. Cassim is a badass who is also working through some self discovery as he learns more about himself and his sexuality. Finally, Sterling is loyal to a fault, ready to fight for the people he loves, especially Blake and Cassim. they're all so perfect, like- idk I can't pick.
Mollie and Henry are chaos demons and I love them.

Mollie Mim groaned and rolled over in bed, cracking her eyes open, the world was nothing but a blur.
“I’m sending Queen Mal my therapy bill. I’m over that stupid song.” She muttered, her voice thick with sleep. She stretched her body out, detangling her limbs from the thin, worn fabric of her sheets, the pattern that used to adorn them now lost to time it was so faded.
“Oi! Mimsy! Let’s go!” The call came from outside the building, the all too familiar drawl of Henry Hook.
“Go?” She rubbed her eyes as she slipped her feet into her slippers- The slippers were as old and worn as her sheets, but to walk barefoot in the Mim home was to invite an army of splinters into the pad of one’s foot. she pushed the shutters open- the one on the left falling off and tumbling to the ground- nearly taking Henry out.
“Charming.” He commented, kicking at the broken bit of wood. “Are you just now getting up?” The world finally came into focus as she rubbed away the last of the sleep from her eyes.

What 'good things' that Harry's done is he most proud of (or, alternatively, which does he feel the most satisfaction about)?
as someone who's moral compass is fucked up, harry's "good things" are also objectively bad because they usually involve a lot of bad or morally corrupt things. but he feels proud of saving / rescuing others, putting himself in harms way to protect another is surprisingly satisfying to him ( this may also align with the power trip but he also feels good about the "hero" worship that can sometimes come from it ).
headcanon wise, he's proud of helping with the coup that ran ratcliff underground and allowed an isle born to take over management of the skin trade ( fairer treatment, earnings, safety, health / dental care etc ), being a part of organizing and uniting the fisheries among the sea faring community of the isle is also something he's proud of as it created legitimate avenues of employment while solidifying their position as an invaluable resource to the isle itself.
he is extremely proud of designing / helping to build / and distributing the isle's navy ships, designing the fort outposts around the isle, and keeping all of this hidden / a secret of auradon.
he's always satisfied about ruining the lives of anyone with anti - isle sentiments / beliefs, standing up for kids when they're being bullied / intimidated by adults will always satisfy him. treating his s/o's with respect, making them feel good, encouraged, safe, desired. he lives for that shit. leading his crew, when his crew come to him with their problems / issues, when he's respected by those he cares about. these are all things that he feels proud and satisfied about.
mostly he's proud of choosing uma as the person he would follow to the ends of the world. he knows that she's a good person, that she is a visionary, that she believes and has hope and will strive to make the world a better place for people like them.
