Yeah I do think they're still together. And yeah they do spend a lot of time apart. I think people need to understand that your idea of a relationship is not everyone's idea of a relationship, if that makes sense. Harry and Louis are in a very unique situation where they've gone from working together/being together every single day to having separate careers that demand them to be in a million different places all on top of the fact that they are not publicly together. I think it probably took them quite a while after 1d to figure out what works for them and I think it's completely possible that they did take some time apart after the band. They had a lot to figure out both personally and professionally.
I think over the years they've probably worked to realize what's important to them personally as individuals, as artists, and as partners and they have probably come to terms with the fact that there may be times where the don't see each other for weeks or months at a time. And that's okay. That might not be what many view as a "normal" relationship which is why I think people tend to get worked up. But every relationship is unique and like I said their situation is also unique.
Harry's mentioned reading books such as the Course of Love by Alain de Botton which is essentially about learning and exploring how love can be maintained in long term relationships. I think making their relationship work in whatever capacity they can is extremely important to them and something they've consistently put a lot of thought and effort into.
During a show last year when Harry asked a fan "Are you kind to each other? Do you love each other? Do you look after each other? Do you protect each others solitude? Are you friends to each other? Through thick and thin?" To me, those things all seem like things Harry (and Louis) highly value in their relationship. And the thing that stuck out to me, of course, was "do you protect each other's solitude?" which I assume he gets from the Rilke quote "the highest form of love is to be the protector of another person's solitude." I think this really goes hand in hand with the fact that they do require time apart, time alone etc. for themselves career wise and personally. I also believe they are both incredibly supportive of each other's careers which means understanding and respecting everything (time, travel, publicity etc.) that they have to put into their careers.
So all of this is to say yes, I do think they're still together. And yes, you're correct, they do spend a lot of time apart and that's okay. Their relationship isn't going to look like your "average" relationship.

Despite the fact that Solomon enjoyed teasing you, he never left you wanting for attention. He seemed to go out of his way to touch you briefly, to tell you to have a good day, to text you if he was going to be out late. And it wasn't as though you didn't see him frequently with your current living arrangements at Cocytus Hall.
And yet, sometimes, you felt that he was gone too long, that he was too busy with other things. What was he even doing when he wasn't at home? You weren't sure, but when you came back from a day with the brothers, you wanted nothing more than to see his face. Even if it was in the kitchen.
Lately, you were feeling his absence, feeling like you were missing out on time with him.
And now you were at RAD, which still hadn't opened yet, discussing details of the school with Diavolo, Lucifer, and the others. It was a massive project, of course, and everyone was involved in the preparations.
You were sitting next to Lucifer and Solomon was across from you. You had been simply discussing things with Lucifer when you noticed a small frown on Solomon's face. He was watching you and he didn't look pleased.
You kept your expression neutral as you leaned closer to Lucifer, acting as though you were pointing at something on the paper in front of him.
Lucifer unknowingly helped your cause by putting his hand on your back. You looked at him and smiled. He seemed a little surprised by this, but he smirked back at you.
You let yourself look across the table at Solomon briefly and found that his frown had deepened.
The rest of the planning session went on this way, with you deliberately cozying up to Lucifer while Solomon looked more and more irritated.
You thought perhaps you had gone too far when the two of you walked back to Cocytus Hall in silence. The tension was thick and you weren't sure exactly what was going through Solomon's mind. He didn't seem angry, but he was very clearly not speaking to you.
You fidgeted as Solomon opened the front door and gestured you inside. You went in, about to turn around and apologize, when you felt his hands on your shoulders, his hair brushing against your face as he leaned in.
"Don't you know what you're doing to me?" he said lowly in your ear, his lips lingering on the shell, not quite kissing it.
Goosebumps rose on your skin, a twist of something thrilling running through your belly, and you had to fight to suppress a shiver.
"I don't know what you mean," you said, trying to sound innocent.
Solomon chuckled and it was an almost dangerous sound. "I think you do."
"I'm going to need you to be more specific," you insisted.
"Trying to make me jealous by flirting with Lucifer throughout that entire meeting," Solomon said.
You pouted even though he couldn't see your face. "It worked, didn't it?"
Solomon pressed a kiss to your neck. "Why would you even provoke me like that?" he murmured.
You considered your response. There was an air of danger around him and you had to decide if you wanted to appease him or if you wanted to make it worse.
You settled on something kind of in the middle. "You've been gone a lot lately," you said. "You can't really blame me for trying to get a little more attention."
Solomon turned you around, his hands falling to your waist as he pulled you close. "Darling. If you wanted extra attention, you could have just said something. You didn't need to go and hang all over Lucifer to make me jealous. Is this really the kind of attention you were craving?"
Your breath hitched as his lips latched onto your neck. Your hands flew up to grip at the back of his shirt as he sucked on your skin. "Yes," you said, closing your eyes and bending your head to give him better access.
Your legs shook as Solomon continued to suck on your neck and you knew there would be several dark marks there you would need to cover up later.
At some point, you grew impatient, tugging him along by his shirt as you backed further into Cocytus Hall. You pulled him through the nearest door, which brought you to the library. There was a large wooden writing desk in here and you found yourself pressed up against it in no time, Solomon's lips back at your neck.
You moaned, tugging at his shirt, forcing him back enough for you to pull it off.
You paused, taking in the expanse of his chest covered in pact marks. It wasn't the first time you had seen them, of course. But no matter how often you saw them, they always caused you to linger over them, brushing your fingertips along the circles and symbols.
Solomon seemed to find this tendency of yours cute and for a moment the dangerous look was replaced with indulgence as he took the opportunity to remove all of your clothing quickly and efficiently.
Before you had a chance to try for Solomon's pants, his lips were on your chest, kissing across it, lingering on each nipple until you moaned. You put your fingers in his hair and tugged slightly, overwhelmed by the feeling of his mouth and tongue.
Solomon pulled away from you, taking your chin in his hand to make you look at him. "Now why don't you tell me what you want, MC?"
You were already throbbing with need and you knew he was trying to tease you by pausing to ask you this.
You put your hands flat on his chest. "Please, Solomon," you said. "I want you."
Solomon chuckled, your blatant neediness softening him just a little. "Now see, was that so hard?"
You were about to say something else, but you didn't have the chance as Solomon pushed you back onto the desk, lifting you up until you were sitting on it. You gasped as your hot flesh met the cool wood and you watched with wide eyes as Solomon knelt between your legs.
Solomon lifted one of your legs, pressing kisses down it until he reached your ankle. Then he propped it on his shoulder and did the same with your other leg.
Solomon put his hands on your hips, pressing his face into the skin of your thighs. He looked up at you from beneath his lashes, a mischievous smile on his lips.
And then his mouth was on you, his tongue expertly teasing you, the heat and pleasure pooling in your stomach and building up. His hands were gripping the flesh of your hips so hard you knew there would be bruises there to match the ones that were already on your neck. You felt the muscles of your legs clench and you tried not to press down on his shoulders too hard. Your hands flew to his hair, burying themselves in the silver strands as you moaned.
There was no question Solomon knew what he was doing and it wasn't long before he began to suck on you, pulling out those deepest coils of feeling, bringing you right to the brink.
"Ah, Solomon!" you cried out as you felt yourself getting closer and closer to your climax.
Solomon did not let up, only increasing his attentions, making you squirm, your body clenching. Your hands twisted in his hair as you came, your voice ringing through the library as you cried out.
Solomon gently moved your legs off his shoulders, standing up to lean in and kiss you, letting you taste yourself on him. You could also feel the hardness of his erection against your leg.
Solomon's expression was one of happiness tinged with a little sheepishness. "I'm sorry I've been neglecting you, MC. Won't you let me make it up to you?"
You were still trying to catch your breath as you leaned into him, resting your head on his shoulder. You laughed softly. "I've been so lonely. You really owe me."
Solomon chuckled. He knew you were exaggerating on purpose, but he didn't mind. "Then let me try to pay back my debt."
You spent the rest of the night in Solomon's bed and he certainly made up for all the time he'd been gone. You didn't think of Lucifer even once.

Lately all your friends have been acting weird. They want to do stuff like hanging out with you more, have a spar, have a snack, study, stuff like that.
At first you found it cute and spent time with whoever asked first... but now... things have become... rough.
{Your POV}

"[Y/n]-Chaann~!" I yelped as I suddenly got hugged from behind. "Mina..?" I questioned. I heard her laugh and when I turned around, I saw the whole Bakusquad there. "What's up guys?" I asked as I tilted my head.
"Oh! We were planning to hit up the arcade. You wanna join?" Kriishima asked as he slung his arm around Kaminari. I groaned and rubbed my arm. "Sorry guys, I have something going on." They looked dissappointed but Bakugo just seemed pissed. More so than usual. "AH?! What could be more important? You're already hella smart and your quirk is kick ass!" I chuckled and blushed at the praise. "Yeah... True... It is only grocery shopping...but-"
"Then we can go to the arcade and then we can walk with you to the store."Kaminari suggested. "O-Oh! You don't have to! I mean- I still have-" Before I was able to finish my sentence, the door to the class opened and I saw Tetsutetsu, Kuroiro, Shiozaki, and Kendo. "Good afternoon. Is [Y/n]-San here?" I smiled and told the people in front of me goodbye before I jogged to the door. "Sorry! Just saying my goodbyes. We can go now." I told Kendo.
She smiled at me and in return, Tetsutetsu linked our arms and dragged me and the 1-B students away.
{Third POV}

It was silence for a while as class 1-A stared at the door that was left open. "WHAT THE FUCK?! WHY IS SHE HANGING OUT WITH THOSE CLASS B NOBODIES?!?" Screamed the blonde haired boy as he activated his quirk. "*hmph* Bakugo, calm down, we all agreed that we wouldn't act against each other until [Y/n] gave an answer." A black haired male ran into front of Bakugo to stop his quirk. "*Tch*... Dammit four eyes-" Bakugo glared at the class president before groaning and exited the class.
"Bakugo? Where are you going?!" Yaoyorozu asked, worried that [Y/n] might see all their true colours. "MAKING SURE THOSE EXTRAS DON'T DO STUPID SHIT!"
Everyone else in the class sighed. They also wanted to do the same but they know it will be suspicious.
{Your POV}

I thanked Shiozaki as she bought us all ice cream. "You really didn't have to buy these..." I smiled and licked my [Fav. Flavor] ice cream. "And Tetsutetsu, you don't have to hold my grocery bags." But Tetsutetsu and Shiozaki just looked more proud and happy with themselves. "We can walk you home too is you want?" Kendo asked as she stood behind me.
I sweatdropped. "Oh! That's too much! It's getting dark so I can't! You guys need to get home too so-" "I'm sure it'll be fine. We live in the same area anyways." Kuroiro said, looking at the others. "Are you sre? If it gets too late than you guys can stay over for the night..." That made the four of them smile. "Oh we won't take long, I'm sure" I smiled back and sighed. "Okay, fine. Let's go."
{Third POV}

"SHE'S GONNA- *MMPHHH*" Bakugo flailed around as the other grabbed him, covering his mouth and pulled him back into their hiding space. "Shhhhuuu! Bakubro she's gonna hear you!" Kirishima whispered and he used his quirk and hugged Bakugo to trap him. "Ahh! What should we do?!" Ashido asked as she gripped her hair.
"Don't worry. I texted the chat." "YOU DID WHAT?!?" The Bakusquad all glared at Kaminari. "Huh? What was that?" The Bakusquad all ducked into the alleyway, tightly holding onto the explosive Pomeranian. "[Y/n]... We should go. They could be a thief, or a villain." They heard a member of Class B suggest. "Hmm... Okay. Let's hurry."
They heard the group that they were tailing start to jog and they all shared their annoyance. "*Tch* It's no use. They're all at [Y/n]'s home so there's no point in tailing them anymore." Sero groaned and facepalmed. "That sucks. 'Cause Midoriya, Todoroki, and Iida are already on their way. So are Uraraka, Yaoyorozu, and Jiro." The Bakusquad grit their teeth while Bakugo activated his quirk, letting out muffled yells. "This stupid idiot-" Sero sighed and smacked the back of Kaminari's head. "Hey!"
But before Kaminari could respond, the three boys he mentioned earlier just arrived, along with Uraraka, Yaoyorozu, and Jiro arrived. "Where are they?!" Midoriya asked as he kept a straight face.
"Simple~ Anywhere where no class 1-A morons are!" Out came a voice that 1-A was all too familiar with. "OF COURSE IT'S YOU, COPYCAT!" Bakugo yelled, getting out of Kirishima's grip. The "Copycat" just laughed and from both side of the ally, came more students from class 1-B. "An ambush?! So you knew?" Yaoyorozu stated firmly, reaching for her stomach and pulled out a spear while the other class 1-A activated their quirks.
"Whoa... Whoa... Settle down! You wouldn't want dearest to find out about this little thing do you~?" Kaibara chuckled as he pulled out his phone with a video that the 1-A students knew all too much about. A video of... a certain person who... let's just say tried to do bad stuff to our dear reader. "How?" Iida demanded, getting into a fighting position.
Monoma stepped forwards. "Relax~ We won't actually do anything yet." He laughed as he clapped twice. At the signal, Class 1-B all charged at 1-A. Because of the small allyway they were in, class 1-A had trouble controlling their quirks. I mean, sure they have control but their anger of being blackmailed messed with them.
"You tell her and I swear on All Might's name I will completely mmmmmmhh- frick you up." Uraraka exclaimed, pouting. "Ohhhh no~ We're so scared" Kodai responded with sarcasm. After a great stare off, they all launched their attacks both sides determined to beat the other to prove the strength of their love.

A vampire from the House of Wright pulled David aside before the negotiation with Baz warning him about being associated with William. And the implications of what it could mean, even if there isn't anything Formal connecting the two (Darlin' and Sam being the only Real connection, as with the Quinn situation). What the Fuck !
Apparently William has a long history of surrounding himself with "less-than-stellar" people, and covering them at Length-- even if it causes harm to innocents. Is Porter one of these people ? The House of Bennett ?
But David's right, they've made a Name for themselves in Dahlia. To make it seem like House of Solaire has recently put the pack in his Pocket could spell out trouble to others. Especially after the Summit, with the House tearing at the seams.
But Vincent and Sam are still people the Pack cares about. Oh my god, Word's gotten around about Sam not considering himself to be a Solaire much longer. I thought he was going to mention Sam's choice of not living forever. I was a little worried. But Honestly ? I don't blame the guy for wanting to leave.

They feel Tired after everything :(( me too Angel. David letting them know it's okay to feel it Together, and it's okay to have limits. He'll never ask them to put their own feelings aside. He wants them BOTH to be open and honest with everything they're feeling and experiencing--so they can carry each other's burdens and be a team :((( Weeping into a pillow forever about these two.
Asher's been trying to get David into Star Trek, so it's Angel's turn to try and get him into it :') Shaw Pack what if i just laid on a country road about it.
Give these two a Break !! Even when they go on vacations they're still in charge and constantly planning things !! Give them a REAL break !!!

the sight of a messy living room filled with boxes would automatically make someone feel annoyed or irritated that they had to clean it up sooner or later, but for kazutora it brought him comfort. something inside of him fluttered the more he looked around, the more the once empty spaces got filled with more things, the more he realized the reality of having a true home is coming true.
looking back, home was a place he dread coming back to. home was where endless screaming matches between his parents took place, where he would get bruises when he did not satisfy his parents' needs, where he crashes for sleep after getting into fights at school, where four walls kept him safe in times he felt like the world was against him. home was nothing more than a prison, a much worse one than where he's actually been to.
even after moving in with chifuyu after he was released, it was nothing more than a place to crash at night before waking up the next day to go in for work.
home never really had a meaning— until he met you.
you, the clumsy customer who stumbled in one rainy day with your whole body soaked from head to toe. you, the one who came in crying because you lost your cat on the way to the park near the pet shop and couldn't find him in the rain. you, the one he helped with finding your cat only for it to be hiding behind the store this whole time. you, the one who invited him out for lunch after that as a sign of thanks. you, the one he started to grow fond of the more you asked him to hang out. you, someone he was actually scared of falling in love with.
how could he not? he's done so many bad things in life that he never thought he'd actually fall in love with someone, or someone could actually love him back.
so when you came into the shop one day and bluntly told him about your feelings, he froze. this was too good to be true. he was waiting for you to say it was a joke or something— it had to be.
you didn't.
instead, you stood there, patiently expecting an answer from him. part of him wished he was as bold as you to admit to your feelings out loud, not really thinking about the consequences afterwards. but he couldn't not think about it. he's spent ten years thinking about what one action did to most of his teenage years so.
"i'm sorry," he remembers telling you, "i can't."
"can i ask why?"
"you don't want to be in a relationship with me, trust me. it's better this way."
"better for who exactly?" you tilted your head to the side, innocently waiting for another answer.
how was he supposed to say he didn't want his reputation to stick with you too?
"It's better this way," he repeats, turning his back to you, "i gotta go."
and with that he left you, hoping his lack of response would throw you off. for a while, he tried avoiding you or at least minimised your contract. you were a regular at the vet next door and frequent his and chifuyu's pet shop a lot. anyways, the keyword was tried.
"you." chifuyu jabbed him in the chest accusingly. "what did you do?"
"what are you on about?" he asked.
"what's going on between you and y/n?"
his body tensed at the sound of your name only to relax when he remembers it's all his fault to begin with."It's none of your business, fuyu."
"of course it is, you both are my friends and even peke j can sense the awkward tension between you two, " he huffs, "is it because of her confession? is that why you're avoiding her? i thought you liked her too."
"you knew about that?" he whipped his head towards the blackette with wide eyes.
"i told her to go for it." chifuyu crossed his arms, feeling proud about that. "well you wouldn't, so someone had to. she really likes you dude. i thought you did too.
" i do." he admits it out loud for the first time ever, "but she deserves better. she doesn't deserve someone like…me."
"that's what you're worried about?"
both of the men's head turned towards the front entrance where you stood.
"you don't know my past." he started, hoping it would be the end of this painful discussion, at least painful for him. "you don't know about the things i've done."
"i don't need to know your past." you say instead. "or at least, not yet. not unless you want me too. look, i don't know the tora you were before. i only know of the tora i know now and i'm pretty sure i want to get to know him more. so will you let me be the judge of that?"
the sincerity in your words swayed him and made him cave, letting you in slowly into his guarded heart.
and that was the start of it all.
the start of him finally opening up to someone that didn't run away or was disgusted by his past actions. the start of being comforted when he was lost, of being loved when he felt unloved all his life. the start of a new beginning and he was happy it was with you.
even now, a year and half in your relationship, you both are taking the next big step of your life : moving in together. looking around the apartment you both bought together held something really special in his heart.
the sounds of footsteps approaching woke him up from his daze. kazutora turned around and smiled when he saw you at the foot of the door.
"i thought i told you i'd be carrying them upstairs." he made his way towards you and took the box you were carrying easily into his arms instead.
"well you were taking so long," you pouted, "and for the record, i can do it. 's'not that hard."
"and i'm proud of you." he kisses your pout away before putting the last of the boxes at the side of the room.
"looks like we got a lot to do, huh?" you said, arms on your hips as you took in the surroundings. "alright, why don't we start with—"
your boyfriend stopped you by grabbing your arm and pulling you close to him. "let's take a break first, hmm?"
kazutora left no room for you to protest when he snakes his arms over your waist to pull your body flush to his. the adorable squeak you let out at the sudden close proximity didn't go unnoticed by the man. honestly, he'd never get tired of anything coming out of you.
"fine but just a short one. we still have a lot to do, you know." you caved within his touch, relaxing in his hold as his body guided you to a soft sway.
"i'm really happy we did this."
"yeah?" you peered up at him, resting your chin on his chest to look up to him more. "me too. i can't wait to see what your actual bedhead looks like. fuyu said it scared the heck out of him when you lived there."
"ugh, snitch much. and it's not that bad. i'll prove it."
you gently ran your hand through his locks, "you seriously need to tell me your secret though. its so soft."
"i'll tell you anything you wanna know, baby." he leans into your touch, feeling relaxed as you gently massaged his scalp.
"and i can't wait to pry every little secret you have now that i get you all to myself for every hour of the day." you pecked his lips one last time before untangling yourself from his hold. "alright c'mon babe, we got a lot to do if we're gonna call this home."
he disagrees. it doesn't matter how the apartment looks or what's filled in it.
he's always at home when he's with you.

I'm not joking, i commented everything.
(i'm putting the episode in pause to write everything... So i don't have to do 10000 posts about this episode, so if you are reading this, hold your horses because this is going to be a long post (probably) not edited, from a person watching this in Europe starting to watch this at 3:11 am... And English is not my first language, so...sorry before hand)
LUKE!!! LUKE TALKING?! REALLY?! LIKE... COME ON!!! Don't do this to me... Not me vibing with the foreshadowing just in the begining of the episode.
THOSE WHO WENT ALL "WUAHHH WHERE'S THE TRAING LESSON FROM LUKE?" HERE IT IS!!! YOU REALLY THOUGHT THEY WON'T SHOW IT BEFORE MAKING PERCY FIGHT A GOD?! (I mean, they could have...but come on!... That would have being insane and would have make Percy to op and this works perfectly to remind us the "bond" between Percy and Luke at camp, just before what readers knew It was going to happen)
Oh~ i love the Ares doesn't take well that others think he can't have a single original thought... But i LOVE more that he literally decided to go with the "say hi to your mommy for me" like... Ares my man, god of war, sir... You fucked up so badly with just that... That kid is going to make Hephaestus and his chain-net over you and Aphrodite look like a fun story after Percy "son of Sally" Jackson finish humilliate you.
Aaaaand we got golden Blood + enemy for Life (Where's the curse, sir? Where's the "your sword will fail you when you most need it"?)

I haven't done anything art related in a very long time... until I started playing The Price of Flesh by @gatobob and I was honestly inspired to make a little Derek doodle.
He's just such a little booger. Like, his father probably nashes his teeth at the fact that he's his little doppelganger but with none of the drive, the JÚS, of the businessman he ever was.
I also need to point out that he's a pretty dude because let's face it... he's not winning hearts with his attitude. Like, he seems like he's always playing dress-up for the part of the day and, like, he LOOKS it but you're gonna notice the oddness if you stick around him too long REAL quick like you're at a networking cocktail and you scuffed his shoes and now all of a sudden you got separated from the crowd and some invisible hands are holding your head down under the jacuzzi water.
Even in the desert. High quality gear. Low quality killer cosplay. This dude spent his daddy's dollars on green camo for a desert that consists of primarily red and yellow tones. I mean... he got the bandana right.
I think the only time he actually looks authentic is the sugar daddy ending because babes, his unbridled rage and feelings of inadequacy brought to life in the form of whips, stones, and broken bones is his primary luxury export and you're a poor island nation that didn't read the fine print of that trade deal.

A decade on this hellsite (affectionate)
So, while I'm working on putting the finishing touches on this chapter, and am getting ready to work on other stuff as well, I...I have an announcement....
This is something I should've said yesterday, but I misremembered....
Uh...
I dunno how to say this super eloquently, but....yesterday was my 10 year anniversary on Tumblr! Wooooo!!
Yup! I joined Tumblr on November 6, 2013, and I've stayed here ever since! W-well, give or take a few hiatuses, but....I-I never LEFT, and that's what I'm celebrating....XD
When I first joined Tumblr, I did so to please a couple people I looked up to, who wanted to talk to me more. I'd been lurking on the website for quite a while beforehand, and didn't have a blog because I thought I wasn't an interesting enough person for one....and I also lowkey feared being made fun of. Yeah, I thought that Tumblr was a competition to get the biggest following, and if no one paid attention to you, you might as well not exist. That kind of mentality was pretty much drilled into me by the state of my current fandom at the time, which was ruled by a select few popular blogs and everyone else had to either conform to what they liked and hated, or get mocked.
How stupid of me, right? Tumblr is more than just the fandoms on it. Tumblr is literally whatever you make of it. You choose what to do and say, and who to engage with. Heck, even if you don't wanna talk to ANYONE, you can still use it for yourself. XD
Originally, this was purely a Total Drama fan blog. Then, over time, as I got more and more comfy with it, I talked about personal things more often, and then branched out, and just made it a me blog, in around 2015 or so. This ended up being the right choice. It became a second home, and grew with me over the years. I've gone through a lot - different special interests (many of which ended up being very important to me), a lot of personal changes, getting more comfortable with certain parts of myself - and Tumblr has captured all of that. At this point, I don't do anything for the attention. I just like putting it out there.
I've even accomplished things that 2013 me would've never tried...like, slowly embracing self-shipping culture, and all the fics I've written because of it. In 2013, I had my fictional crushes, but I was embarrassed about them and usually hid them behind OCs. And I'd never written a full fanfic. I was a former roleplayer. And now....Holy crap, I'm not saying I'm a GREAT writer, but...t-to try it, like it, and then KEEP DOING IT?? I call that an accomplishment....
I've met many people, including good friends, and....I-I like to think that....I-I've matured thanks to it. When you're in one place for a decade, it really influences you a lot, even in less obvious ways. I was a LOT more spontaneous ten years ago. I-I said some insensitive stuff that I didn't realize at the time. I stuck my nose in places it didn't belong, and I let myself get too pressed over the opinions of people I didn't even like. I don't do any of that anymore. I'm a lot more picky with what sides of my fandoms I talk to now. I'm still not perfect, but I've grown a lot, and it's cool to think....that this blog is essentially a document of my emotional journey.
(Not to mention all the Eurovision seasons, heheh....)
Does that mean my old posts from 2013 and 2014 are worth reading nowadays? HECK no, but I'm happy they exist.
I-I'm sorry that this is so word-vomit-y, but......point is, thanks for ten years. Here's hoping I'm still here in 2033. Until then.....I-I have an update:
I dunno why I didn't do this sooner, but I have a "Current Interests" page now, which I plan to update frequently. This'll make it easier to keep track of what I'm into at the present time. So that I no longer have to hide anything....just...laying it all out there for people.
I thought I needed it. I've just been lazy for waaaaay too long. XD I need to act my age and let people know what they're getting into.

I totally feel you anon. Kink is so much fun to think about and play with. Like it's generally believed that most kink develops in the early stages of childhood, but like it varies so wildly from person to person; it's so board. Sometimes there's a deep psychological things behind it, sometimes it's trauma related, and sometimes... it's just there and you don't know why other than: this is hot lol.
(I have kink I'll phsycoanaize myself about why I have, because of my lived experiences and trauma. and then I have kink I've literally just had since I was baby and literally just it's just always been there yo, I can give you explains now why I think it's hot and how I might have ended up finding those things hot, but baby me watching barney the dinosaur didn't have those experiences so clearly it's been with me longer than I can explain. It just is oops).
Typically I'm the one using character to explore taboo/unsafe kinky things in a safe fictional environment lol. But, yes, analyzing why some characters have a kink I've decided to give them is fun (especially when those meds kick in and you brain is like WOOOOO LETS GOOOOOO THINK ABOUT THINGS AND DON'T GET DISTRACTED). Or like character who canon have kink and I don't have to give it to them in the first place (beli lol).
(catch me thinking about how the fuck kink works with beli. like how much of it was, he was programmed that way when he was literally created, how much control do astrals have on that sort of thing when they create a primal beast. how much of it developed for beli as he developed a personality while existing. how much of his personality developed while existing and how much was programmed into his when lucilius created him? i joked once that whether or not a primal beast has genitals depends on how horny the astral who made them was. and that lucilius is ace (I KNEW I FORGETTING SOMEONE IN MY ACE HEADCANONS). and just the concept the beliel was a fucking ken doll down there (unless belial's directive was to go down a fuck the mortals there's no biological reason for him to have a dick, technically, and I'm pretty sure that wasn't his purpose) and just beli sobbing like why would you make me so horny and not give me a dick. and lucilius just like, because i hate you. but that's just a joke (beli has canon sex, though, i mean, could have sex other ways, i just assume nah he had a dick, it's more fun if he has a dick). but anyways, it's super interesting to think about how much is nature vs. nurture esp with primal beasts bc we've seen them change, we've seen them grow and developed based on their interactions with other (esp mortals). How much of Beli's kink was predetermined. How much was an accident? How much of it happened because of what he experience? ((don't ask me about the fake events about my gbf oc's that jokingly lead to a sequal event that jokingly lead to shit with where lucilius, beli, and bubs were trapped and then led to fucked up belisan shit, being stranded alone in another world. belial abandoned by lucilius. fuck.)))

i was gonna be like "oh i always give them a happy ending" but then ao3 told me — that's not true! Yellow was a lil deleted scene thing i did abt simon buying his yellow breakup stationery, so obviously the ending is big owie. and my humdrum fic, Hunger of the Shadow... i mean its a humdrum fic lol. idk which is angstier, its different types i guess.

i got a comment that bothered me once that was like sort of judgmental abt a bit of my plot, and they were like "you should have done __ instead." and i was like ummmmmm... but not HATE i suppose.

i wrote smut on my own once (Want to mark you up). i mostly wrote this one to capitalize on the horny momentum of In black ink my love may still shine bright, in which simon and baz go out to a bar, etc. also i wanted to make a joke about lamb hahahah.
then i did a few smut pieces with some pals via Frantic Fanfic. One of them, A for Effort, is actually technically my second most-kudos-ed fic, but it didn't feel right to claim it because Kay (xivz) did the heavy lifting on that one!

What’s a WIP that you want to finish, but don’t think you ever will?
i have a lot of wips that im determined to do, but it might be a while. i have one wip that is heavily rooted in a new england summer setting that i recently moved to my Graveyard folder on google drive because i was like... i don't think i can write this as well now that summer's over. the first sentence in that doc (which is entirely scrambled outline) is "this fic should smell like sunscreen." i will probably revisit next summer if im still around because im super invested in it. it's a childhood friends>rivals>friends>lovers with copious new englandisms, ghost hunting, simpard, explorations of guilt that are like super catholic (again: hello new england), queer identity stuff. i think shepard is a trans dude in that one too which was fun. idk!! this answer got long. it makes me more certain i will return to it lol.
What are your writing strengths?
hmmm probably like - earnest descriptions of emotion? like, if the character is going through something, im going to take you through allll the stages. i personally think im funny, which is what matters to me as my own reader lmfao. and i think i like to break them out of the usual settings and plotlines! i really like setting as a literary tool, thinking abt the obstacles that come wherever your characters are. im in the ideas stage of a road trip fic and i think that's going to be a really good way for me to flex there.
What are your writing weaknesses?
Sometimes dialogue, sometimes not. Elaborate plots that can't be tied to character development. I've said this before, but I find my writing to be quite plain in terms of syntax/word choice/etc... this is usually fine but sometimes my writing can get very like "action, thought, action, though, action, dialogue." idk. i dont know that i have a word for this, am open to suggestions.

Thoughts journal about Season 13!! 💪💪 (1/4)
Phew, I actually made it to the English release without spoilers! 🤩 I do know general things about little plots for the ninja, hopefully nothing major! Finally, the Cole season we've all been waiting for, with Rock Mom and possibly plenty of our Earth baby development! COLE IN THE SPOTLIGHT AT LAST!! 🖤🖤
Well, I know I'll be shooting rainbows from my eyeballs if I see even one Nexo Knights reference! For the rest I don't really know what will happen, I'm curious! 🤔
It's the 6th of July, and here we go!!
GENERAL THOUGHTS
Is it just me or the dialogues sounds better? More built up, funnier, cohesive just like in the earliest seasons of Ninjago? Maybe it's just me but I'm really appreciating 🤷���♀️
It also doesn't feel that rushed anymore! Which was my biggest problem in Prime Empire really. The episodes seem to me like fragments of a nice movie, not a too long story forced into 11 minutes. I'm very happy with the quality so far, I feel good about this for now! 👍
No matter what season it is, you can count on The Fold to make an AMAZING intro!! Freaking awesome, it was epic and very final battle like 👌👌 I WANT THE FULL VERSION ASAP!!!

I do appreciate we are not forgetting about the adventures we had until now, it feels like from season 11 forward we are building a new backstory of. But they still show stuff from the very first seasons so I'm happy anyway 😍
Pff, Cole plays Prime Empire right after being trapped in it. And Lloyd joins in! YES!! Maybe there is hope for a season without greenie being traumatized! 👍👍

Okay, poor sensei and all, but he's kinda right 😅 I like Wu, I really do, but Aspheera was a problem kinda because of him, they all going to another dangerous realm could have been dealt a lot better if he hadn't been so on edge and in Prime Empire he freaking got kidnapped by NORMAL PEOPLE. Maybe he is getting old 🤷♀️

This one seems a bit weak? I don't mind it actually, I'm actually a bit curious about how it will develop since it started like this 🤷♀️
References to Hiroshi's Labyrinth and the Tournament of Elements, my fangirl heart is happy 😍 Is it too much thinking that the maze was a reference to Shadow of Ronin, since they all went there in the game while in the show only Lloyd was at the Labyrinth? Idk 🤷♀️
