thinkin about that extra lgbt bjj class i went to today in the context of being an analog for the extra outside-of-school band classes i had to go to while i was in band in middle school.

and thinkin about how the body keeps the score, and all that. (i really ought to read more of that book) doing this very physical thing is of course reminding me of painful events of the past that tracked similar lines. even though what i'm doing now is because it makes me happy.

that extra band class... i already hated band. had been curious to try it (and hadn't learned my lesson yet about never being curious, never asking to try new things) and then was forced to do it for two? three years? that was when i learned my lesson. because i had to be the best at clarinet, or something. i guess. so we had to go to weekly classes two towns away so i could practice more (and i sure as hell couldn't practice at home. because that would annoy my parents. and open me up to criticism for not being perfect) it was a terrible class to go to, that weekly thing. no one was nice. (i literally remember the other kids in that class as being black stony shadows...) we learned different things than at school, which simultaneously set me ahead of my peers but also behind them. that was the year i only had one (1) day a week where the only thing i had to do after school was homework. i was so miserable.

but what a happily contrasting parallel the lgbt class at the gym across town today was. we learned a new set of moves, but ones that built on what i actually know, and well-roundedly made me more skilled. everyone was so friendly and welcoming. we were all there because we wanted to be—no one was forcing us. and certainly not forcing us to be the best or compete. it was just pure fun. and learning for the sake of learning.

it's ironic that my brain drew the correlation to band class for another reason... the main explanation my parents gave me for forcing me to stay in band class even though i begged and cried to quit was that i "needed to make new friends". which fucking. was absolute bullshit and didn't work at all. there was only one kid in the whole band who even spoke to me a few times. and the friends i did have just had one more reason to bully me (i don't blame you squidward)

yet now? as an adult? i nearly immediately made friends! and was excitedly introduced to more friends!! because i'm somewhere i actually want to be!! and i can reclaim the agency to try new activities because no one. is going. to fucking. force. me. ever again.

life is good

Am back! :D

Omg guys! Almost forgot I had this ((joking)) but nah seriously! It had been years since I've posted anything here! 💀

Anyways imma go back to my roots!! Y'all remember the days of Legend of Korra where I've only simped for Lin Beifong? 👀 But I've found a new lady, well not really but I've got a new love!!

So y'all remember (if not don't worry about it) the whole genderbent au thing I've created and it was female Tenzin and male Lin and stuff like that? Well I've got some stuff for y'all!

So first and foremost, this is Tenna. She is genderbent Tenzin (female Tenzin). She is literally so hot and I cannot stop drawing her! Currently working on the backstory and this will be nothing like tLoK, actually it will in some places but yes! A lot will be changed!

But look at her! She's gorgeous! 🥺 Also I just wanted to show y'all my improvement of art over the years! QwQ it has improved so much and I'm so proud! Anyways I'll stop rambling and let ya get to the photo!

Anyways, my thoughts are simple. Make hot women. :D I am smooth brained and frankly I've been a simp for my genderbent Tenzin for years.

I wanted to update her concept instead of the one I've created years ago (plz forget that 💀) and frankly I love this version better. She looks kind, soft, hot, and first and foremost Tenzin-ish.

What I have for her so far:

She is 51-50 just like Tenzin in tLoK

She has one confirmed boy that I've come up with and one confirmed girl.

Their names are Jin (Jinora) and Ming (Meelo). I haven't come up with anything else for the kids as of yet.

She is pansexual. No discussion on this xD

She is currently in a relationship with Peng (Pema). But ma'am is known to wander around.

Tenna is also more in tune with her nomadic life style instead of the whole business stuff.

Tenna left RC at the ripe age of 16, leaving Ling (Lin) in the process but no hate. It was a mutual break up. Ling wanted to keep RC safe and promised Tenna that everything would still be up and running whenever she wanted to settle down.

Tenna fell in love with an air acolyte (whom I haven't decided to name as of yet) and stayed there for a year before the world called for her once more. It was a short but painful romance, one that Tenna often thinks about.

Once she was back on the road she fell in love with a non bender (Not Peng yet), got pregnant and went to RC for Air Temple Island. She stayed on the island for a few years raising her newborn son Jin.

Ling helped with all he could, being there for Tenna, taking care of her and feeding her and dealing with her grumpiness. He took care of her and once the baby was born, Ling knew he would protect the child as if he were the one to help make the baby.

Tenna couldn't have thanked Ling enough and felt horrible she was "holding him back" from finding his true love. Ling wanted to confess right then and there that he loved her but knew it wasn't the right time.

During the time of the whole pregnancy and the raising of Jin, Ling and Tenna fell into a romance. Stealing kisses, sharing deep secrets, touches that crossed the very thin line of friendship.

It wasn't until Jin started talking and walking that Tenna thought it would be a great time to start exploring the world. Jin barely being the age of 3 or 4. Ling confessed to her that he loves her and that she wished she'd stay for him but told her it was a selfish request. He instead kissed her goodbye and told her to look at the Northern Lights for her on one of her trips. Tenna never felt such sadness and sorrow but she promised to keep in touch. She watched as Ling got smaller and smaller as the boat began to leave the harbor and leave behind her very best friend and lover.

Sorry friends but this is where imma stop it before I bore you! Let me know if you want more Headcanons or if you want more art of this fine wine of a milf!

dragon's dogma's dlc isn't even remotely what people claim it to be

what people say: "you need to pay for fast travel! you need to pay for extra lives! you need to pay for character editing!"

the actual truth:

- you can pay for one mark location. this is an undeniable advantage, especially considering how early you're given it. the portcrystal is overpowered and i think it's the only dlc here that actually really matters

- you can pay for up to five extra lives. you can't buy more than the five dlcs, and getting wakestones is extremely, extremely easy if you want to bother to grind them. especially from the start of the game; every pawn starts with a quest where you get ⅓ of a wakestone for having them in your party for a day. if you really wanted to grind out wakestones, you could hire two fresh pawns, sit on a bench until a day passes, then dismiss the pawns and hire another pair. i don't even know why this dlc exists it's not even valuable and you can just. lose it. they're consumable. it shouldn't exist but not because it's an evil mtx, it's just weird.

- you don't need to pay to edit your character or your pawn. you can buy the art of metamorphosis for 500 RC, which you can get easily by simply playing online and having people hire your pawn, which they will do as long as you're online. I've been playing about 20 hours and have over 2000 RC, enough to buy 4 arts of metamorphosis. and even if you DON'T play online, for whatever reason, you can get RC as rare drops from enemies, so given time you can just build up a stock. in addition, following in the assumption it'll be like the first game, you'll be able to edit your arisen and pawn after entering ng+, which is probably a lot more investment than just fighting some cyclopes for RC.

- to discuss the other dlcs. you can buy RC directly, but there's not much reason to so far unless you want glasses or to change your pawn inclination.

- you can buy a makeshift gaol key, which will break you out of jail once, or you can buy one from a number of traveling merchants for like 1000 gold, which is a pittance

- you can buy the pawn inclination change items. these are more expensive to get with RC, clocking in at 2k RC, but inclination isn't really very necessary to change, and certainly not often.

- you can buy a pack of 3 harpysnare smoke beacons, which... do something? they let you grab onto harpies in certain areas and ride them to other places, but i don't know how useful this actually is in general, and I'm pretty sure you can just buy them from some general stores for a couple thousand gold

- you can buy a heartfelt pendant, which is a gift item that makes someone like you. the only relevance to this mechanic, as far as i know, is getting merchants to give you a discount, and for rp to have your beloved related to story events (assuming it follows the same as the first game). in the case of merchants, you can just look at their favorite items and give them Three (3) of their liked items and they'll be at max affection. in the case of your rp beloved, well, you should already care about them. you should get them what they love instead of just buying a pretty necklace. also if you want to search for every seeker token you can get the arisen's bond that way to max anyone's affection.

- you can buy a mod that changes music and sounds to be from DD1. to each their own

- you can buy a special camping kit. it's lighter than the normal kit, so it's helpful, but you can also just buy it for 6000 gold from some traders without needing to buy it.

- you can't even buy ferrystones. you don't even pay for fast travel you pay for a portable fast travel point, which still costs a very expensive ferrystone to teleport to.

- if you see the steam reviews, they're mixed. if you change the filter to only see reviews from people who have played the game for at least nine hours, that changes to mostly positive. the significant majority of negative reviews were made before even playing the game for NINE HOURS.

- there are other valid complaints about this game, this post is exclusively addressing the dlc. i will continue to defend this game because it's really really fun and I'm really annoyed at the review bombs by people who have no idea what they're talking about and are just parroting something they heard on twitter without actually knowing anything about what they're saying

- p.s. i want to be clear; i don't think microtransactions are a good thing and i genuinely believe none of these dlcs should be available as dlc, for various reasons (mostly detailed above). but the issues i have with them are generally the opposite of the issues people cry about, and i want to make clear that while there are problems with them and plenty of reasons NOT to buy the dlcs, the oft-cried reasons are misleading at best and outright false at worst

Okay? KYLE: Uh... y'know... y'know... IAN: He's already some weird monster man, it wouldn't take a whole lot to adjust him to still be familiar but be more Zeti-like. And instead of him being able to use his EM powers to control machines, he uses it to mess with the bio-electrical signals in your brain, so he has the mind control angle. KYLE: Hmm... okay, so he would be a modern character then, huh? IAN: Yeah. And all you gotta do is turn that 'N' sideways, and he's Zaugus. KYLE: [laughing] Zaugus! Well, I think you've done it, Ian. KYLE: Boy, that-- IAN: [Mentok from Harvey Birdman voice] "That's taking the mind, Kyle!" KYLE: [laughing] That is horrifying! That's like... that is very- that is scary! Like, I think he might actually take over Eggman in terms of villainy in the series at that point. Hm. IAN: Like, maybe limit it to, like, it's gotta be within eye contact, it's gotta be point-to-point... maybe he can only really control one person at a time. But if you've got the keys to Eggman's Empire, or if you're using Sonic as your personal RC combatant, you can do some damage. I don't know, I think it could work. I think it could be neat. I- I also know it's a big ask of the SatAM crowd, but I don't know. I like it. KYLE: I- Someone- you could make it work! It could work. Someone's going to draw this, Ian. You know they will. Master Detective Archives (2008-2009, Nicktoons)

screenshots taken from episode 3A "House of Hecksmile" and episode 7A, "Halara's Nightmare"!

early concept art reveals the character of "Yomi Hecksmile" was originally referred to as "Yomi Hellsmile", but due to pushback from censors, his name was changed. additionally, while halara was never referred to by any gender in the original english, in languages where this is difficult, they are referred to by both masculine and feminine terminology.

(weeheehee i made moreeeee!!! might make a Lore Post at some point but relevant bits are under the cut + more bonus arts)

so when i draw these, the design sensibilities are based on children's cartoons that pushed the boundaries of what was acceptable for a y7 rating, but still maintained a solidly "for children" audience. think invader zim, billy and mandy, etc. so to fit in with my Lore for this fake rain code nicktoon... i had to change yomi's name. his name is Hecksmile now. honestly i think that makes it funnier.

i'm pretty sure that halara is mostly referred to with feminine terms in languages where that's unavoidable (french, spanish, etc), but unlike the rain code localization teams, i'm not afraid of nonbinary people. i know i was just talking abt changing yomi's name for Standards And Practices, but i like to think this show aired in the Woke 2008 That The Liberals And Joe Biben Wanted. i think that would also be funny. so in the international dubs of Master Detective Archives for Nickelodeon, halara gets the mangle fnaf treatment. why? because i think that's cool.

ok here comes some bonus stuff!

shoutout to steam code from the rain coat server for suggesting the "snooping as usual" from satam scene. i changed the dialogue to make it fit more with what i had in mind but this one was supposed to be a pingas joke.

the versions w no subtitles... now you can see allergy-riddled halara's hastily-drawn tissue box in all its glory.

and of course, some more of the cast! aphex and pucci actually get to be main cast members this time, yippee! don't worry, zange and melami are still here, but they're closer to side characters. still, probably more screentime than in canon.

i wouldn't say any of my designs for this little project are strict improvements from the original rc designs, but seth's is a whole lot more fun to draw. shaped like a fuckin boobah.

Do u think a MDA: RC anime is possible?

It very well could be. Won't happen for a long while, but I think it has potential to be a real thing in time. Rain Code being adapted into an anime could also present a lot of different expansions on the story, especially if it has a decently long episodic duration so it can fit in more extras. I've come up with a short 'wishlist' of stuff I'm hoping could happen with the anime if it does become a reality.

MORE WORLDBUILDING! I wanna learn more about the inner workings of the WDO and the culture of Kanai Ward!

Slice of life episodes with the detectives and/or peacekeepers. I'd love to see what the detectives do when they aren't detective-ing and the peacekeepers aren't peacekeeping (at least not exclusively going after the NDA detectives).

Stylized Mystery Labyrinths! Without the constraints of the game's formula, the labyrinths could have it's own unique art style and exemplify it's mazelike layout.

Having perspectives outside of just Yuma. I'd love more character-focused episodes that are in perspectives outside of Yuma, similar to the DLCs. And it doesn't just have to be the detectives! It can also be the peacekeepers or even some of the city citizens if it's important enough! Give us a Worried Man episode damn it!

This is definitely more of a me thing, but give us flashbacks or even episodes that take place before the game's events! I wanna see blue hair era Yomi! I wanna see Yakou n his wife's blossoming relationship! I wanna see flashbacks to the NDA detectives' childhoods!

So this is mostly a Choices blog but some of you know that I've recently started playing Romance Club as well because 1) there are some really good books on RC, 2) the art, and 3) to compare both apps. I could probably make this a series(?) to compare and contrast the two but here's one of the main things I've noticed playing both apps:

The Difference in Pacing

Background: The clear reason for this is because of how the books are set up. On Choices, each completed book is approx. 16 chapters (like a movie) while on RC, the book is typically 3 seasons with around 10-12 episodes (like a tv show). So a book like Open Heart, for instance, would be 3 seasons under one title instead of 3 separate books since they occur within a close period. This is different from a series like Heaven's Secret, which has two separate books that span ten years apart.

I bring this up because I assume this difference explains why the pacing in both apps is so different. I can use Blades II, Kindred, Theodora, and DALS as an example.

I've brought this up already, but one of my biggest gripes with Blades II was the very odd pacing. The beginning of the book (in my opinion) took longer than necessary to start the plot and there was a little too much filler with less time to focus on new lore the themes ate tho and I'm grateful we got another book.

Kindred has a similar issue. The concept of a witch book was cool and they had a good plot, but 16 chapters weren't enough to explore everything they wanted to with the book. The ending was rushed and it felt way too easy to defeat the Wraith King. Do I still love this book? Yes. Do I think the authors did well with the amount of time they were given? Also yes. But the rushed plot does make it hard to recommend it since PB is capable of handling a lot of plot (RE: Blades I).

On the other hand, Theodora has 3 seasons and the whole immortality arc (the premise of the book) wasn't explained until near the end of S2. We had an entire season to explore the character and at least half of a second season to explore her life after she realized she was immortal but without knowing why (human -> immortal -> realizing how she became immortal and starts controlling her power). As a result, it becomes easier to get attached to her since we spent more time getting to know her still one of my favorite MCs.

Dracula: A Love Story still can't believe it has 4 seasons spent an entire season before revealing Vlad's identity even though it's in the title. In comparison, PB would have done three chapters of leaving MC in the dark before revealing who Vlad is with the rest of the book being allotted to helping him. I get that we needed to see all the visions and stuff but personally, I feel like I was more invested in Lale and would have read an entire book about her, Aslan, and Vlad. I swear I don't hate DALS please don't be offended lol.

Am I saying I prefer RC to Choices? Not necessarily, I have problems with RC too mostly regarding representation, and I also know it wouldn't be fair to compare the apps since they are set up differently. I just thought this was something interesting to point out.

A little bit late, but I'm gonna jump in on the recent "RC uses AI art" bandwagon. I understand where you're coming from — I'm an aspiring translator and even before the whole AI craze I had no idea how tf I'm gonna look for a job once I'd graduate, but now the situation's even more dire. That being said, I think we really really REALLY shouldn't jump to conclusions about in this case because

do we actually have any proof that it's AI generated art besides "it looks like that"? Because AI... doesn't really have a "style", it's literally gonna look like the art you feed to it/what it finds on the web. I've already seen at least one instance of artists being told that their art is actually AI generated just because it looks similiar. CGs in all stories are usually more realistic-looking, imo, and showcase the biggest differences between different artists' styles. All of this is speculation is conjecture, but like, so is the whole thing about RC using AI art in the first place. So I'll just move on to more solid argument

just last month, on August 4th, RC announced an open call for hiring artists. I guess this vacancy was targeted at CIS countries since as far as I'm aware they didn't crosspost it to Facebook or Twitter or anywhere besides VK and Telegram channel. On 28th they stopped accepting applications from artists and are, most likely, currently continuing the tryouts. My point is: what kind of company would resort to using free AI and then go and hire real humans you actually have to pay? It just doesn't make sense

As a side note, it is possible that some of the artists may use AI without their hire-ups and writers and so on even knowing that — unlikely, I don't have any proof of that, but it's a possibility. But I feel that the only thing we're doing here is treading muddy waters of conspiracy theories. I'm repeating myself, but it just seems unlikely that there's actually any AI involved when the company in question just started hiring new artists. You may argue that they had to use AI for the most recent update because of the staff shortage but once again: let's not dive into conspiracy theories. Okay, I took longer than I needed to, but I rest my case

I agree with you on some points, it could be the artist using it without the company knowing and it is a possibility (although I think would be naive of them). But I believe that hiring artists and using AI is something that can happen simultaneously, in the beginning. One thing may not have to do with the other either. That said, it has caught our attention because the style has changed drastically from one update to the next and is very similar to how AI-generated images look. The public used to complain that the characters didn't have realistic poses and out of nowhere they change some to something ultra-realistic (without being able to see a real evolution until reaching this point), almost like a painting which happens to be very similar to how the AI works with images. It's something to be suspicious of, we shouldn't straight accuse them, but being suspicious and sharing our distrust is valid, given that many companies have recently been doing this. And if an employee is using AI and they know about it, It has to be approved by someone at the company, and it carries the company name. I don't think they're that naive (an artist's style changes suddenly and no one wonders why).

Since when they see that using AI is cheaper (or costs almost nothing) and it's fast, they have to make a decision, ethical or not.

Let's see what will happen, but I hope for a good outcome! I love RC stories and would be shame if they go for this path.

And of course, this is absolutely my opinion on this, you can agree or not and that's ok for me.

imagine the chaos (and angst) in a danganronpa roleswap au if Gundham takes up the role of being a candidate for the Kamukura project (he's also a reserve course student) and Kazuichi being the Chiaki in this situation—

the possibilities...

Yo! There was a fanfic being made with this exact concept except it was Kazuichi that was a Reserve Course and Gundham was very Nagito like teasing him about it lol Their tumblr is still on here I believe, they stated they were rewriting it but there is some art! I’ll try to find it and private message it to you.

But Gundham being apart of the Kamakura project and being the Reserve Course student is interesting! I’m gonna take it a step further and have it be that he and Hajime as still apart of the project and made into pseudo twins. Like the academy probably realized that putting every single talent known to mankind could lead to disastrous results and even worse - not willing to assist them in their goals. So it was decided to have a set of two ideal candidates that can take the burden of possessing so many talents as well as probably being more susceptible to help.

Gundham wasn’t scouted for Hope’s Peak for an unknown reason, but I like to think it’s because his dad somehow interfered. Instead, he is sent to RC so that his dad can still brag to his friends. There he meets Hajime, whose family was going bankrupt to keep up appearances. And though his parents love him, he sympathizes with Gundham and forged a friendship with him.

They meet Kazuichi by chance - I like to think that their meeting in the NWP is a little true. So imagine Gundham and Hajime are sneaking onto the main campus (Gundham making Hajime do bad things let’s go! Lol jk Hajime also makes him bad things 🤣) and they see a gaint, half made machine with legs kicking in the air. They obviously think the persons in trouble and use to help. The guy in the machine isn’t some regular guy, but the ultimate mechanic, who is freaking out that RC’s are on main campus. They promise they aren’t doing anything, just looking around and decide to go back, but Kazuichi doesn’t let them.

He was actually stuck in the machine lol - had been for a whole hour when Nagito was supposed to help him the traitor. As thanks for getting him out, he shows them around. This begins are weird friendship, with the RC’s -mainly Gundham- sneaking in the main course’s campus to visit Kazuichi. Over time, they meet the others and there’s an incident where Kazuichi is jealous of Sonia for getting close to the goth, who’s jealous of Hajime for being so close to Chiaki when it took her almost their whole first year, who is just trying to figure out how to not get overwhelmed by these amazing people and also his stalker “bully” Nagito.

When they’re approached about the Kamakura Project, they do think about refusing at first. Gundham didn’t see the point of having a talent that wasn’t originally his own and Hajime was struggling between accepting he wasn’t exceptional and the what ifs if he was.

But ultimately, Hajime accepts first. Gundham take a while, but he finally agrees because he realizes that wouldn’t be able to see Kazuichi or Sonia again after Hope’s Peak; they’d be out there, making the world better and brighter. And he’d be alone, in the dark shadow of his father. It also didn’t help that Nagito spilled the beans that Kazuichi was not only thinking of leaving because of his cruel father, but that some teen boy from his neighborhood was harassing him within the academy as a late transfer.

If he agreed to the project, then they both would be allowed on the grounds and be apart of classes. They were even offered money. He can keep Kazuichi safe. Their disappearance affects the class, but mainly Kazuichi amd Nagito. The two felt they were the closest to the RC’s, Kazuichi especially. He was finally gonna tell Gundham how he really felt about him, but all he got was a vague text message one morning and nothing else since. Both their phone numbers were unusable and no one heard from them since. Meanwhile, he’s feeling stress by his dads threats and his middle school ex-friend trying to force his way into his life again to get close to his friends - particularly Sonia and Fuyuhiko. It’s been depressing and he cries in his dorm room thinking he scared his only two best friends away.

Happy New Year Everyone💜

(Rambling below)

Tbh: This year has been one word for me. Awful. Too much happened and I’d rather not talk too much about it... x-x

My first half of the year was just dreadful. But the second half of it (around July/August) was a lot better. And I have RainCode to thank for that. After losing a close friend, I was in a pretty depressive funk for quite some time. And what I usually do in these times is escape into my current passions and interests and go wild on it.

And boy did I ever. I had just finished RainCode and was officially obsessed. And I wanted to contribute to it. So at first I made some sprite edits, and a Pokémon crossover. Then as I do for every fandom I have a fixation on, I decided to write my very first sickfic of it. And it received so well that felt a bit more secure in indulging in my hidden guilty pleasure some more.

I made more sprite edits involving Yuma and the more I indulged the more obsessive I became. Soon I was making analysis' on his character and making all sorts of whump headcanons for him. Then I realized I became like most sick whump users on tumblr, and I finally had a fandom and whumpee I could call my own... and the feeling I felt was indescribable. I was so happy. Blissful. (Though it did kinda rot my brain from the inside out. But in a good way? If it makes you happy it's healthy....right? XD)

After some time I interacted a little bit with more of the RC community and honestly?? Its such a fresh new and fun community. And there's a lot more adults in it. My last fixation (demon slayer) had too many minors in it so I felt like I didn't belong or have any right to be in the community at all. But with this one?? I feel right at home. I eventually became known here for making sick related content of the series, even dubbing myself the CEO of a tag I made up myself. Whumpcode.

RainCode even inspired me to start drawing again. Something I sadly gave up on for years. And Its helped me find a style for myself and draw things that make me happy c: (aka sick/fever whump lol)

I found a few very nice people to talk to. (mostly because I'm shy and don't talk too much w others online) And I'm surprised my work even inspired some of the community to make some sick art/fics of their own for raincode. It made me feel such indescribable pride. In a sense I am like the other whump users on tumbr, but at the same time I'm not. (mainly because its not a kink to me) I'm more a member of the raincode community than the whump community. And I'm perfectly fine with that.

I first joined tumblr back in 2014 and after some time, took a 5 year hiatus from it. But upon coming back, I'm so happy to have finally found a fandom I truly feel like I'm a part of. And thank you to everyone that supports and enjoys my work. It makes me so happy that there are those that agree with me and don't see me as a freak despite my odd fixation. But focusing on this has made the second half of my year better. So much better...

So thank you, both RainCode and RainCode tumblr. For making me feel like a part of something. And for making my year end on a positive note c:

Hello everyone! I would first like to apologize for my inactivity, as I’ve been more active in other socials and dealing with personal issues. As an apology (and to complete one of my drawing plans), I have drawn my Valentines Kokobolt, as promised!

This took really long and a lot of planning and art block.. plus some abandoned WIPs 😭. Really been hitting me hard lately. Don’t expect any other projects coming out unless it’s an event, though I’m drawing 2 other artworks as a double apology for taking so long.

What's the BEST ways of introducing transformers ocs?

Oooooo that I’m not sure!!! Considering I haven’t introduced my OCs to you guys yet I don’t really know XD

But I guess one way would be just showing off what you’ve made for them so far! Any art or personal fics you’ve made! Or just ideas you have for them in general!! That way people will come and ask if they’re curious :)

I guess I can take the opportunity and go first! I have a couple of tf OCs, but these are the only two I currently have refs for!

First is Starburst, a minibot whose alt mode is an RC rocket!

I imagine him mainly in the Rescue Bots continuity :) in the rescue team, he’d be the scout— being fast enough to fly ahead and brief the team on a situation before they arrive! He’s a daredevil and wants to be the fastest minibot around :)

And secondly is Andante, a titan cityformer!

(I’m probably gonna change the colors on his sleeves, lol) But basically, Andante is an entertainment district where he’s the main act! He travels across different galaxies, performing in bot mode, and when he’s traveling in city mode his citizens can hear his voice singing and humming across the streets :) he’s laidback and fun loving, but loves his citizens more :)

I have a couple others as well who I haven’t made designs for yet (for example Andante’s cityspeaker, as well as some others), but yeah!! If anyone has questions about them feel free to ask, I’d love to share :)

Hi to new people checking my account out, My names Mikaylyn!! I've been on choices since 2021 but it's been a year since I got active on it, My favorite choices book is the Freshman and favorite lover is Zig Ortega :)).

Favorite type of food and drink? = I like water the most and eating noodles :)))

What is autism? = Autism is a developmental disorder that affects communication and learning with handling social interactions, repeated behavior, etc. I have genetic autism and diagnosed when I was 5-6 of age.

Orbeetle Facts

(I have one named Joker and the entire time I was writing this, he was floating around and trying to type on it. I just felt the need to share this)

-The genus name for the Orbeetle line is "Coccinella Praedica" which roughly translates to "Scarlet Prediction"

-Because of their appearance, with their eyes being all swirls, their antenna looking like angry eyebrows, markings resembling a mustache, etc, they're often Pokemon chosen to be the smart villains in a lot of comics and movies

-Unlike most other flying (not flying type; just bugs thst fly) Bug Pokemon, Orbeetle's elytra don't protect any wings. They instead use it to protect their brain. The elytra evolved to be small buds from lack of use

-Orbeetle are related to the Ledyba line, with both of them having a common ancestor

-Orbeetle's name comes from Orb and Beetle, which would make Orbeetle sound like orbital, referencing the way it moves around (similar to a satellite)

-Because of their gigantimax form, there are theories saying that Orbeetle came from space. These theories are not true, and I can not express enough how misinformed this theory is

-Orbeetle have a very violent mating ritual. I won't go into detail, but it involves biting, scratching, stabbing, dragging, etc. They also have a very violent way of protecting their eggs, and I'll link the post talking about it at the end

-Orbeetle have been known to have hypnotize other pokemon and make them their 'minions' that would do anything they ask of them

-Because of their intense psychic abilities, Orbeetle are able to sense things with their antenna 15x more likely than the average bug pokemon

-Due to their intelligence, it is actually possible to teach an orbeetle how to read and solve math problems! There was an instance in 2015 Galar where an Orbeetle learned how to solve long division

-Orbeetle are known to be very violent Pokemon in general. We can easily understand where this came from; they're often bullied, picked on, and hunted by larger Pokemon, and the only thing they have going for them is their wits. But when they evolve, they have both the strength and intelligence to get revenge. They end up being really violent and vengeful as Orbeetle

-Going from the fact above, it can be very hard to befriend an Orbeetle if they weren't caught as a Blipbug or Dottler. In the wild, you'll often see Orbeetle have Pokemon close to them that were with them when they were still a Blipbug

-Because of their absolutely massive brain, they aren't able to stand up without using their psychic powers

-Orbeetle are violent hunters, and mostly ear smaller and weaker bug types (never Blipbug though. They tend to leave them alone). But there were some cases where they have taken down Scolipede

-Despite not being from space, Orbeetle actually do surprisingly well there

-There eyes have a hypnotic effect on them, which will swirl when hypnotizing someone

-Female Orbeetle have larger abdomens than male Orbeetle

-In the rare instances when Ledian and Orbeetle interacted, Orbeetle were shown to be passive and even quite friendly with them. This was a large shock to researchers, since Orbeetle would usually attack bug pokemon similar to Ledian. The most popular theory they have is that Orbeetle might see themselves in Ledian, with both of them being Coccinellidae pokemon

-In many spiritualities, the number 7 symbolizes intellect, wise, insight, truthfulness, and intuition. I theorize that this came from Orbeetle

-While Blipbug are seen as pests by a lot of farmers, Orbeetle are seen as a good thing for farmers since they eat the Pokemon that would eat their crops

-Orbeetle are not very affectionate with their trainers, but they'll often give gifts to them to show they care
