My Fixative Has Arrived
I haven't tested it I'm still cleaning the studio
I used Winsor&Newton in the past but the price has risen up almost 4 times the past 20 years
So I just find the cheapest one now which is a Chinese brand with the same price as Newton when I bought it all those years ago
De Goya has around the same price as Kuelox and I heard they're pretty good but they're sold out

No, I didn’t go snorkeling. But I DID go to the Florida Aquarium in Tampa with Robin, her Mom, and her daughter, Shannon. The visit was several years ago. I used a photo I took as the reference for this watercolor painting on a greeting card. Hope you like it.

🦋Guy redraw🦋
Ink and colored pencils on tea soaked watercolor paper with metal leaf.
Yes, that is the title, he's just a guy :D This was a fun little distraction, also recorded a video for it, will upload soon-ish. The original one is from a very very old inktober challenge.

Had an enormous struggle while painting the last parts of that piece... i still have to learn how ppl load paintbrushes with paint bc i had good amounts of perfectly mixed gouache this time, but when using thin detail brushes the only options were: have the desired line width, but run out of paint in half a second, or load with a lot of paint but have the line width be much much thicker bc the paint is all bunched up at the tip
