sometime, after Stede and Ed have reunited and worked things out and become co-captains again. after they have visited Barbados a few times (in disguise of course) and Ed had met the kids and Mary has heard all about the crew I want there to be some reason for the crew and quite specifically Izzy Hands to meet her, the widow Evelyn Higgins

I want her to look down (down, down) at him for long moments with no expression on her face. I want Izzy to start with a sneer in return and then start to get nervous cuz he has no idea who this woman thinks she is but fuck is she actually pretty intimidating. And he knows from the story of Stede’s fuckery that she knows how to dispose of an unwanted presence.

And Evelyn stares down this tiny angry little man she’s heard about in passing from her friend, takes a deep drag off her cigarette, exhales the smoke (into Izzy’s face but not, like, pointedly enough for it be a goading insult) and just says “I hear you’re good at making men dead.” And Izzy’s spine straightens and his shoulders square because damned if there isnt approval in her voice. He is good at making men dead. It’s nice to have it acknowledged now and again.

😌 i found the 60s prom dress that I thrifted in high school for my aurora costume. it's a pretty bright fuschia color but if i dyed it a bit darker it might actually make a great dress for part of a widow evelyn higgins cosplay.

my final form. it's all coming together y'all...
