This ask is so fun. I never get these kinds of questions.

Ok so right off the bat the first question is impossible for me to answer. Lol. I have seen well over 200 BLs and I tried to whittle them down into a top 3 for you but it felt like murder. So instead, I can give you my top 3 currently airing BLs: Between Us, To Sir With Love, and Big Dragon.

Top three favorite onscreen pairing is almost as hard as the first question 😑 😆 so let’s go with…

“top three pairings from a series that aired within this past month but is not currently airing or will be ending within the next 24 hours”: BossNoeul/PayuRain (Love in the Air), FirstKhao/AkkAyan (The Eclipse), and BoyTod/PluemKawin (Ghost Host Ghost House)

I am most excited about Moonlight Chicken, Never Let Me Go, and I Feel You Linger In the Air (amongst dozens of others).

Three shows I wish more people would watch…

Why You… Y Me? - I am having a blast with this tongue-in-cheek sitcom satire of BL fandom. Legit makes me laugh out loud on the regular. Plus every single character is delightful. I will also jump at anything that lets me see Plan Rathavit’s smile again (and he gets to be funny AND hot too!)

My Only 12% - This was a beautiful piece of art. The fandom was crickets while this aired and honestly I am more than I little mad at everyone about that fact. Actually, I’m much more mad at the homophobia slung at Cooheart over every little detail from the way he acted to his chemistry with Santa.

Fish Upon the Sky - It was no better or worse than a typical GMMTV BL but everyone was so mean about it. I enjoyed the playful and experimental film style, the jaunty comedy, the complex and unique characters. It had many flaws, but it didn’t deserve the hate it got. I’m so glad GMMTV didn’t throw out the babies (PondPhuwin and NeoLouis) with the bath water at least.

Let me give an update on my watch list

Big Dragon

Still not the best show out there but I really like this. The scene in the gif was also heartbreaking. I really hope they don’t put more drama in the last ep because the next ep looks like fluff.

Fahlanruk

I started this so I shall finish this. But honestly only for Prince and Gear and Ping and Tap.

Kabe Koji

The last episode was really sad :( Mamoru can’t love anyone else if he doesn’t learn how to love himself first. I do wonder how this show will end since the ep’s are only 20 min each and next week is the last ep.

To Sir, With Love

This show remains wild since it’s a lakorn but it has sucked me in. And I am fearing a sad ending for the main couple. I just hope I am wrong. They deserve a happy ending while almost everyone else deserves to die. Tian’s brother Yang is the best brother you could wish for.

War of Y

War Of Y and then Y Idol. Peek taking part in a reality show when he so many insecurities. Being called a wife which crushes his self esteem even more while others telling him he shouldn’t be upset about it. And in the last ep the producers basicly saying if you aren’t handsome and lean enough you will not be able to get a lead role in a BL. And then when yesterday the cast was annouced for a BL we had a model being picked as one of the leads.

Why You… Y Me?

This is not really a good show except for the BL parts. I skip most of the rest. I love how this how said that outing someone is a really bad thing to do. Rarely seen with BL storylines. Here we are dealing with a love triangle and a in the closet guy who doesn’t want to go public with his relationship. Which hurts his partner.

Oh no, I’ve fallen for Paul and Nice. I would take an entire series just about them.

That conversation in the kitchen! The actors are doing so much with the minuscule screen time they’ve been given. A whole entire complex relationship built in three short conversations. I hope this means we’ll continue to get more of them and not return to mostly ignoring their existence like in the first four episodes.
