#qsmp #qsmp chayanne #qsmp tallulah #I gave Chayanne solid black eyes because originally I had wanted to make Chayanne and Dapper's designs inverses to each other #Dapper with solid white eyes and Chayanne with solid black eyes in return #I had the idea to want to inverse them because of how both Bad and Philza had wanted either Dapper or Chayanne when #they were gonna pick an egg - It's also why I made Chayanne grayish so that it was a bit similar to Dapper but not completely #though I changed some things through and didn't completely make them inverses of each other #I gave Chayanne purpleish clothes because I remember Missa saying that Chayanne had a similar fashion sense to him - in a vod that was the #first day that Missa got Chayanne or Missa had said something along those lines #but the floatie just didn't fit well with the purple clothes xd so I just placed it onto Chayanne's hoodie instead #I also gave Chayanne black solid eyes because there was a joke that Chayanne made that slime armor had his eye color #and Philza zoomed in on Chayanne since it's obvious that Chayanne doesn't have eyes - he's an egg #but I also wanted to take that as Chayanne not having green eyes #but I did debate on giving him green eyes to match better with my redesign of Tallulah #Tallulah's valentine model has flowers in her hair so I just gave it to her hat instead and I wanted to redesign her #mmangoarts #qsmp fanarts

Just got back from watching a production of Les Mis and yeah man to love another person really is to see the face of God 😭😭😭

#my favourite musical. last time i saw it was in..... 2015? around there #i have... some criticisms for this production but it made me cry a lot and left me dehydrated so it's still a win!#les mis #ramblings of a bystander #ok but seriously who decided to cast what looked like two south east asian sisters as child cosette and child eponine #and then adult eponine was also south east asian but cosette was NOT and was a full white woman #bizarre choice. we have so many characters to keep track of you should not be confusing my ability to follow them #a bit TOO many extras and too much activity on stage during sort of ensemble scenes #that made it a bit difficult to locate who was actually speaking/singing a couple times #javert was just a touch too stiff in his body language. actually a few missed body language opportunities #that would have helped clarify what was happening I'm just lucky to really know it all already #REALLY didn't like fantine's characterisation and delivery on a few lines but otherwise she was fine #also i can't believe enjolras first appeared on stage NOT wearing red and then had a costume change for the les amis cafe meetup #just put him in red straight away? why did grantaire also have a costume change to completely different color scheme at one point.#...it WAS a good production I'm just nitpicking. because it's my fave so i have OPINIONS #jean valjean was fantastic!#anyway. I'm gonna make myself some dinner now. and then see what I've missed

other ppl love having extra hands on deck to help them out but i prefer to have the whole big machine floor just to me. me doing all the work. yes all the steps from picking to final packaging. sorry but i am picky about the way i do things and unless you do it just the way i like it will rub me wrong and if it is legit wrong i will have to redo it anyway.

#work venting #some of my coworkers are great #9/10 you can work the machine floor with me. your trays are lovely everything is centered colors all correct #but some coworkers...i can only tolerate garbage trays if i'm the one who made it #because it's one thing if i chose to do that to myself. but if someone else is like 'here i made this it's trash :) for you'#then....mmmm. don't like. if u make a garbage tray the rule is u should have to run it yourself #sometimes i just put one in the machine and instead of finessing it i just let it destroy the tray #and then i go 'oh no :( i will have to redo that now. so sad. so terrible to replace that with a good tray now'#also like to do the quality control and the prep to go #because some coworkers have clumsy hands and their detail work just destroys the final products #and then i have to redo them :)#so i think i will just do the cleaning touches okay? if i'm busy maybe at least let me do the ones that took a long time?#because if u burn the shit out of something that took me 27 minutes to make...i will not be happy #also do not like it when a coworker who doesn't normally do my role hits a slow bit and decides to 'help me out'#and then proceeds to fumble the shit out of my machines and just like...#clumsily pull 4 threads out of alignment while trying to re-thread a fifth line that did not need to be re-threaded #because the error message on the machine indicated a loose screw on the tray :)#or making me a tray....except everything is off-center and i have to redo it #or that time i couldn't figure out why a machine wasn't working #and it turns out they put a part in with the magnet facing out instead of in #and i don't usually check for that because i don't make that mistake. i simply do not #please just let me work the machine floor alone if u don't know what ur doing #if u are one of my rare coworkers who knows their shit and doesn't have bad habits like chronically making garbage trays to 'save resources'#then u can stay but ur on thin ice #i would rather be doing five jobs at once #than have to be doing constant damage control

I love all of these goofy product photos where the water bottle is extremely obviously just photoshopped onto a stock image of someone pretending to hold something or whatever.. very convincing..

#the last one where the water bottle is like nearly the size of the woman's entire leg ghbjbjhh #ALSO I know.. gross.. nasty.. amazon.. I was only looking there because I was trying to find an exact replica of an old water bottle #I bought like 6 years ago in a store and I just wanted another one of those and it seemed like the only place the old manufacturer #still sold was through amazon but.. alas.. I think they just don't make them anymore. so I have abandoned my hunt #I didn't actually buy anything. but I did get distracted clicking through product images for a few of them #it's bizarre how like............... idk.. WHY is this done??? Isn't this offputting to basically ANY potential customer?? or do people #not look at every photo/read the entire page/all product information before buying??#all of these are from like front page ''top sellers'' or whatever like........... how does this not hurt the brand????#If the company can't even bother to take a single photo of a real life person using their real life product then... that to me #is kind of red flaggy..?? even if you're an indie start up small business with hardly any funds.. still #A real photo of the product you are selling in a real actual non-photo shopped environment does not seem that inacessible #Maybe it's because everyone does everything on phones now?? So it's harder to see the pictures when they're smaller?#Kind of the same thing with ai art and also hair color photoshops lol.. On my full comptuer screen it is SOOO easy to spot ai art #like IMMEDIATELy from the little tells and ways certain details morph into each other etc. I dont even mean obvious dalle mini stuff but #like the Fancy High Quality Photorealistic AI art is still pretty blatant 98% of the time if you know what to look for. But I still catch #people sharing it a lot like 'omg where can I buy this pair of shoes!! :O <3' .. erm you cannot.. that is the most balatantly fake looking #pair of shoes I have seen in my life hhjbj.. the heels are both different heights. there's a different number of straps on each one. etc.#AND that phase back before colored hair was Mainstream and people would post photos like 'omg going to bring this to the salon!! dream hair #and it's like.. you can LITERALLY see the parts where it's 'colored outside of the lines' and is so clearly just a person with blond hair #that someone drew over with a tint brush or something not even very neatly. etc. etc. ANYWAY.. Maybe with phones it's harder to tell these #things?? To me so much of it is instantly recognizable and it's suprising to me that people either don't notice or don't care and will #interact with it anyway by buying the product or acting like some ai art fake furniture is real or etc. etc. ..hewwoo #Aslo sidenote - I think I've become soo cynical and tired of constantly being advertised to that I literally cannot shop without getting #exhausted. don't mind me, i'm just grumbling some more about how disappointing the international tour makeup designs are

#cats makeup talk #rant post #i just -- *screams*#i don't even do makeup in my day-to-day life and i can tell it won't show up #people cannot see the slight ombré shading from 50 feet away if you don't add lines! john!!#for the love of god the old designs were fine. why do we have to keep making things worse for the sake of ~updating~ them #it's the same shit as rap tugger and i'll bet they'll walk this back the same way they did him #half of the time they're lit in red or blue or yellow anyway. so why do the soft color changes even matter #this whole production is really allergic to yellow and orange paint huh #like SKIMBLE isn't even orange. that's the point where you have to stop yourself and say 'what the fuck are we doing here'#(hint: it's not making the designs better)#and don't even get me started on the wigs or i could go on forever
