i wonder how much bg3 companion banter I miss bcuz I can’t hear it and don’t have the camera focused on the companions to see the subtitles over their head or don’t have the log open (or do but the dialogue is drowned in random npc chatter and actions)

I was going to be like damn I wish my companions talked more but then I realized they probably do and I just can’t tell

the sex education ep about disability rep and accessibility has me bawling on the floor i'm a fucking mess. FINALLY. finally we're talking about this.

watching all the students have a sit-in until the lift gets fixed made me break down crying like oof. ok. yeah 😭

#i was literally just thinking this morning that with all the queer rep we've been getting recently #we're still cruelly lacking in disabled rep #and whenever we do get disabled characters they're usually magically fine and integrated into society perfectly #like with eileen from supernatural. they never talk about how alienating it is not to be able to understand half of what's going on around u #somehow she can magically read lips even in dark environments or when they're mumbling/turning away from her #other characters around her don't or barely make the effort to sign #i can't even think of a single visually impaired character off the top of my head #definitely none with my specific impairment #and characters in wheelchairs are usually just there in the background #with no insight into what daily life in our ableist society is like #not to mention chronic pain rep/people who aren't in wheelchairs but do need a cane #or who get tired so fast that they cannot keep a regular school/work schedule #like where is our rep?? when are we gonna start talking about how impossible life is when nothing is made to accommodate you?#anyway good for sex education #i needed to take a break from the episode bc it was so overwhelming #in a good way!!!!#i'm gonna get back to it now #rain posts

Sure!!! I'll be definitely forgetting some but on the top of my mind these are some of my favorites (in order of publication):

↳ Fine Print by Hinalilly Such a cute and in character pre-relationship Valentine’s Day fic ;;;; I love them.

↳ Seven days of him just make me weak by frankenjoly Just wholesome assorted sskk snippets, I can always feel myself physically melt reading this.

↳ my pretty baby holds me down by ChaSeuBao but specifically Chapter 2: While the Other is "Asleep" Tbh I just feel this could perfectly happen in canon. They're just as immature and impulsive and in love as they act in the manga, and it's perfect. Post-canon fics where Atsushi and Akutagawa have matured and grown into proper men are v v good but fics where they still act childish and dumb because they never had a childhood they could grow out of are v v good too. Get together fic.

↳ the only exception by dextergrif I've reread this so many times avbkavkvcqbwsl opposite to the one above, it's nice to see a more mature version of Atsushi and Akutagawa who've slowly worked out of their traumas to be a better version of themselves!! I adore sskk being friends before getting together because ~they're the only ones who get each other~. Enemies to friends to lovers is good. Get together fic.

↳ someone to share the silence by UnicornFlowers Idk this is just one of the best fics I've ever read and so so beautifully written I'm sobbing. Such a good enstablished-relationship Akutagawa character study and sskk navigating their relationship 🤧🤧 On touch-repulsed Akutagawa and touch-starved Atsushi who's perfectly respectful of his boyfriend's boundaries. AND AKUTAGAWA CRYING that is SO good

↳ makeshift gauge by moderndaycain The post-doa arc sskk reunion we deserve (pre-relationship)

↳ Five Times Atsushi Was Hugged and One Time He Gave a Hug & Five Times Akutagawa Cuddled Atsushi And One Time He Asked For Hugs by why_cant_turtles_fly I feel it's only fair to mention these two fics together? The first one is more of a gen fic but you should read it anyway, it's so good!! Op's characterization is amazing and their fics so heartwarming ngggghhhh see ask under this

↳ How to Tame a Tiger's Hair by Mississippi_moon I think about this fic an unhealthy amount. Getting-together, friends sskk who still kinda act like kids in love. I love Akutagawa in this, I love how he speaks like someone who's worked hard to get rid of a fucked up mindset.

↳ midnight, somewhere by hybridsunshine This is so gooood I love sskk atypical getting-together events because nothing about them is typical and they speak a language that is only theirs

↳ split lips, soft teeth by wildsuns You know when a fic is so overwhelmingly good you feel like you need a month to recover

↳ guardian by fwootbat Just read this yesterday night and it was so cute!!! Also very in-character according to how they act in canon. Get together fic.

finished season 2 of miraculous ladybug!

I dont mean to sound nitpicky about a children's show meant for children. Buuut it feels a little weird to me that the neglect/abuse Adrien experiences from his father is never played for laughs, but Chloes extremely horrible mom being awful to her is literally the whole punchline of their relationship?

Like I realize part of it is "Well Chloe is mean too, so they can bond over how awful they are Together", but that just makes me feel kinda icky because it means Chloe can never improve as a person UNLESS she's fine with her mother not loving her lol

#not to overanalyze a show meant for 10 year olds #im more just pointing out the difference in how their abusive parents are portrayed and how......strange it is #adriens dad is constantly being shown to be horrible. and they never ever make a joke out of it #but i guess since Chloe is the designated 'Mean Girl' its funny to watch her mom constantly forgetting her name #constantly yelling at her and treating her like shes garbage #chloe gets really good small moments of humanity here and there #but then they had that scene where she finally gets her mother to show interest in her and #its literally just because chloe is like 'i can be an bitch too mom!!!'. which just makes me very sad #chloe redemption arc please. i wanna see her yell at her horrible mom lol #miraculous ladybug #i finished season 2 today. there was so many good hawkmoth moments this season #but i do find it very funny that he akumatized like ..... 5 different six year olds this season #i am making such an extended list of notes about this show as I watch it #im gonna make the next 7 hr long video essay. but itll be about miraculous ladybug lol #my favorite character is still chat noir btw #thanks for reading this far #i will now kiss you on the lips. mwah #tell me who YOUR favorite miraculous ladybug character is and why. i am not super into the fandom side. ive just been watching the show #i wanna know what characters are popular and which ones are hated hehehe #not pony

Miles doesn’t have his hearing aids for something or he just doesn’t have any at all so other spider-people have to lightly tap near him or change their walking direction entirely so he acknowledges/sees them, and this confuses someone who doesn’t know Miles is deaf but they do this anyways because they don’t want to be rude
