Homestuck fan artists’ humanstuck interpretations of some of the kids as Tan People Of An Unspecified Ethnicity/Race

no offense but when i see whitestuck it will always remind me of every single animated show about a white family of 5 and how theres way too many of them.

If you draw all of the homestuck characters as being skinny or as muscular guys and ‘sexy’ girls i hate you so much.

If you draw roxy and rose and Dave as white I hate you so much.

If you depict all of the homestuck characters as cis I hate you so much.

Your potential as an artist and as a person is fucking wasted when you don’t include diversity in your art. You abandon your ability to improve when you fail to make an effort.

Drawing only people who are white and skinny or fit neatly into the boxes of “male and female” bodies isn’t a fucking art style. It’s not cute, and I don’t care if criticism makes you sad or whatever and you’re satisfied with your art. when you post art online you open yourself to fuckin criticism. And my constructive little nugget of motherfuckin criticism is that you need to stop justifying your unwillingness to depict diversity in your art.

white craig in art is always SO shocking to see. like nothing against the people who do it or anything but i do very much forget that there are people who see him as white so whitestuck craig always makes me like AH WHY ARE HIS EYES BLUE???????????????????

hey i didnt think id need to say this but PLEASE do not send in requests specifying that you want characters to be white? i understand youre projecting but it makes me uncomfy to be asked to draw whitestuck headcanons. i dont know if this is a normal thing to be uncomfy about but please dont specify you want a character to be white.

Im here to say I do not want reposts from the user “davekat sucks” no matter how much I dislike davekat. I do not want to present myself as actively tearing down davekat as somehow being morally incorrect. And I do not support their weird whitestuck and skinny terezi bs. I dislike davekat in the way that I do not like the fandom’s obsession with it and I feel the characters do not have that much chemistry as a (flushed) romantic pairing.
