It belongs to the civilization of consciousness to magnify the large sweep of harmony. | Beyond the soul there are other societies, and societies of societies. There is the animal body ministering to the soul: there are families, groups of families, nations, species, groups involving different species associated in the joint enterprise of keeping alive. These various societies, each in its measure, claim loyalties and loves. In human history the various responses to these claims disclose the essential transcendence of each individual actuality beyond itself. The stubborn reality of the absolute self-attainment of each individual is bound up with a relativity which it issues from and issues into. Headcanon: Whitehead and Stu Pendles are brothers. Stu picked a hat like Whitehead’s to mess with him. It also sometimes helps him avoid Carol Cross.

Well that's sweet of Whitehead to take the heat for Stu from time to time... but Carol is probably gonna catch on. I highly doubt she's a dumb girl

(Now I'm imagining her saying "Do you think I look stupid or something!?" and someone very STUPIDLY saying yes... and they were never heard from again XD)

Just for fun (and also cause of their hats) I headcanon that Stu Pendles and Whitehead are brothers. Stu learned to mimic his brother’s voice and despite them not being twins, they look similar enough, so Stu gets away with it some of the time.

Headcanon - Whitehead is a reptile breeder, by hobby before the Toppat Clan but as a job upon joining as most divisions don’t have a good place for pets that don’t need enclosures and are in high demand among animal loving Toppats. He’s dipping his toes into breeding axolotls as well.
