Megan's pr plan gossip. by u/deedee50
Megan's pr plan+ gossip. We all know that Megan calls the paps to car parks etc and other exciting places where she can be photographed. After she was seen entering an eatery that Cameron Diaz and Benjamin McFadden were outside that was turned into a story about them dining along with Gwyneth who happened to be there at the same time. The reason Megan put out the story that they had had dinner together knowing it was completely false was to be able to then ring said celebrities in this case Gwyneth and Cameron, so she could apologise for the false press, and ask if they'd like to meet for a drink or a bite to eat somewhere more private and get to know each other. Also pulled this trick with Travolta (who quickly shut it down).Megan asked and got a list of WMEs clients who might be open to a mutually beneficial friendship contract, unfortunately apparently there were only 18 names all c-d list, real housewives/selling sunset types. Not 1 A.Lister. She has started drinking more than usual, crying to h, why does everyone hate me?? Etc. Also seems convinced and has convinced h that they will get back in the RF fold, using public pressure of constantly holding out olive branch's that are rejected, the atmosphere is very much "they owe us, after what they put poor meg through just like husbands mummy"The person who drops me this info is soon starting to seek out offers that the payout would more than cover being sue'd by the litigious harkles and keeps a detailed diary. The majority Of information is only gained because madam seems to have 2 levels of voice shout and shout louder when things don't go her way. I've told before how staff talk and laugh that even garden staff know whats going on it's that loud. plus theres caneras EVERYWHERE manned by security also privy to what's going on, he still wants her, she tolerates him, they fight a lot Doria is ref. This is all alleged, I've explained how I get the info, and why and it's up to you if you wish to think it's true, partly true or false. I'm saying this as I love this forum, the posters are intelligent ,witty and fun and it brings me relief from real life, so that's why I post, and my friend is aware I post here. post link: https://ift.tt/hQlVkdT author: deedee50 submitted: April 09, 2024 at 06:05PM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit disclaimer: all views + opinions expressed by the author of this post, as well as any comments and reblogs, are solely the author's own; they do not necessarily reflect the views of the administrator of this Tumblr blog. It’s Always Been Just Him and Me-Buck/Bucky
Summary: Buck keeps needing an out from his dates and Bucky is always a call away.
WC: 3,430
C/W: Bucky says a slur, mentions of drug use (weed), slight mentions of Bucky having an ED.
MOTA Masterlist!
Tumblr media
Buck felt as if he was finally able to breath as he opened the door of Bucky's car. He was finally free of Curt’s strawberry vape and Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday Two blasting through the speakers.
Truth be told he would rather be stuck in the car than having to go inside on this date. Buck always had a hard time telling people no, one of his downfalls. So when this girl from school kept asking out Buck and he finally had given in. He knew it was going to be awkward and uncomfortable.
“Goodluck, Buck!” Curt clapped him on the shoulder as he got out of the back to get in the front.
“Remember don’t fuck on the first date.” Bucky leaned over to the open door to look at him, “If it goes bad you can give me a call. I’m gonna take Curt to work then just drive around till you’re done.”
This was something that happened a lot, almost like a pattern Buck could recognize. Giving into someone asking him on a date, he’d go and get uncomfortable and text Bucky to call him so he could leave.
“You need any?” Curt opened up his wallet showing Buck the condoms tucked in by the dollar bills.
“You just carry those with you?” Buck furrowed his eyebrows looking down at Curt.
“You don’t?”
“No…?”
“Your loss,” Curt chuckled and elbowed Bucks side, “Have fun though, really.”
“I’ll try my best,” Buck clenched his teeth sucking in a breath nervously, his hands jammed into his jacket pockets. He was weighing his options of just jumping back into Bucky's car and telling him to drive away like this was a crime.
But then he remembered then he’d have to come up with some story of why he couldn’t make it. Sorry my bird died? Sorry Bucky got a flat tire and we were stuck on the side of the road? But then he’d have to defend his answer of why Bucky was giving him a ride and he wasn’t just taking himself there. So into the shitty Olive Garden he went taking one last glance at the silver SUV as he opened the door going in.
Bucky was serenading his heart out to All American Bitch as he drove down the ‘speed bump road’ gunning down on the gas pedal everytime he hit one. He was almost expecting it as his music stopped and the obnoxious ringtone came through. Bucky quickly picked his phone up from the cup holder. “Well it's been almost 20 minutes. Are you ready for me to come back?”
“Please, I’m hiding in the bathroom.”
“That bad?”
“That bad.”
“Alright, I just dropped Curt off. I'll call you back when I'm in the parking lot.” Bucky sighed as he hung up and whipped an illegal U turn at a stoplight. Waving his hand a little as a car honked at him.
Buck sat at the table keeping his eyes focused on the half eaten, stale breadstick in front of him. He was uncomfortable and could feel the girl's eyes on him, his heart skipped a beat as his phone began to vibrate in his pocket. Buck scrambled for his phone out of his bomber jacket.
“Hello?”
“Hi, sweetie, it's your grandma. I fell while fetching myself some candy and I was wondering if you’d come help me up.” Buck turned red as he heard Bucky's voice on the other end putting on his best female voice. But alas he played along with it because this certainly was not the first time this happened. One time Bucky went as far as coming into the restaurant and saying that his dog got out. When the girl offered to help Bucky blurted out ‘oh he hates women’ then tugged Buck right out of the situation.
“Of course Grandma, I’ll be there soon, I love you, bye.” Buck hung up fast and met the girl's worried green eyes, “I gotta go, my grandma fell and I gotta help her up. But I’ll text you when I get home?”
“Oh yeah, sure I had a good time.” The girl with the auburn hair smiled awkwardly as Buck got up and set a $10 bill on the table for the waiter. Buck offered a smile before making a beeline for the door.
Bucky sat in his car laughing like a crazy person as Buck walked over and shook his head with a smirk opening the door. “I’m gonna call my actual Grandma next time if you keep doing that.” Buck snickered as he buckled up.
“Oh poor Grandma Ethel will be so disappointed you’re leaving a date with a girl to go play with your best friend.” Bucky teased poking Bucks' side. Buck rolled his eyes, swatting at the others hand, “Maybe she’ll call you a faggot to your face this time.”
Bucky felt the air get a little tense as he glanced over at Buck, he wasn’t wrong by any means. His grandparents were very active in the church and it was true his grandma had called him that
“Well did you get a chance to eat?” Bucky glanced over at him as they came up on a red light.
“No, I kept stalling so I could leave.” Buck shrugged, “I don’t like pasta.”
And Bucky could’ve told him that.
“I know, well do you wanna get something? I don’t necessarily want to go home tonight.”
And Buck knew what that meant, his parents were probably fighting again.
“Yes please, I’m starving.” Buck had finally become aware of the grumbling in his stomach and remembered the two joints in his pocket.
“Well where do you wanna go?” Bucky knew the answer as soon as he looked over at Buck. His head leaned back against the headrest that stupid guilty smirk on his face.
“Jesus christ,” Bucky rolled his eyes as he took the next turn back in the other direction, “But I am not eating that.”
“I’ll pay for your food?” Buck smirked, but Bucky knew that was just a ploy to get him to eat. So if he was going to eat he was going to get something he enjoyed.
“No, I’m getting Taco Bell.” Bucky shook his head as they turned into the Chik Fil A parking lot. It was Buck's favorite, guilty pleasure food and even if Bucky didn’t agree with that he was here to make Buck happy.
“Are you going to do your Grandma Ethel impression again?” Buck asked as they pulled into the Taco Bell drive thru.
“Should I sing instead?”
“No.”
“Fine.”
“Welcome to Taco Bell, order when you’re ready.” Curts voice came through the speaker full of annoyance that certainly made this a hundred times funnier to Bucky.
Bucky cleared his throat, “Hello can I get two doritos-”
“Locos tacos, nacho fries and a large baja blast freeze?” Curt finished his order.
“How do you know every damn time!?” Bucky grumbled as they pulled up to the window.
“So the date didn’t go well?” Curt asked as he snatched Buckys card from him looking over at Buck. He also knew just as well as Bucky that Buck didn’t like these girls; he just felt bad saying no.
“No, I think I really should just stop going on dates.”
“Or maybe you can take me out for a nice meal!” Bucky put his hand on his chest smiling his cheesy smile, “Since you always end up back in my car eating your stupid Christian chicken sandwich.”
“Take us both out for a nice dinner. If I have to eat fucking Taco Bell for dinner one more fucking time. I’m gonna fucking lose my shit.” Curt grumbled as he handed the card back. Curt knew if he didn’t eat at work though he’d probably go hungry for the night. He didn’t come from much money and he worked to help keep a roof over his mother and little brother's head.
“Hey who are we mind fucking?” Dickie poked his head around the corner from the kitchen.
“Dickie!” Bucky cheered unbuckling and basically leaned his entire body inside the window.
“What’s up? Oh my god it’s Buck and Fuck!” Dickie jogged over to the window shouldering Curt out of the way, “Hambone!”
“The whole team is here I see,” Bucky snickered as the other blonde came over, “This place wouldn’t run without you guys.”
“Yeah, literally our manager quit this morning. So yeah Curts in charge of the evening shifts.” Hambone clapped him on the shoulder then took his hat running off to the front.
“Fuckin’ hell!” Curt grumbled, “Would love to continue our conversation but I gotta go play fuckin’ boss.”
“Enjoy it, Curt. Make them your bitches!” Bucky laughed as he took the drink and bag of food from him, handing it off to Buck.
“Now get the hell out of my drive thru!”
“Love you too Curt!” Buck yelled as Bucky drove off.
“That place would burn to the ground without him. Dickie would leave something somewhere and walk away from it next thing you know the best Taco Bell around exploded.” Bucky laughed as he made an exploding sound popping his lips.
“Maybe, or they could hire a competent adult to manage it.” Buck shook his head as he chewed on the straw of his drink.
“But what's the fun in that? Think about how funny it is to hear that Taco Bell is run by three high school boys who barely know their left from their right.”
“This is the economy we live in now.” Buck shook his head, “Are we going to the usual? I got some joints with me?”
“Yep, do you wanna smoke first or eat?” Bucky hummed as he pulled into the big empty parking lot of what once was a KMart. This had become their spot of escaping Bucks dates and eating shitty fast food and just talking.
“Eat, I’m too hungry.” Buck unbuckled his seatbelt and moved his seat back, getting comfortable.
“Sounds good to me,” Bucky shrugged as he turned the car off and Buck was finally able to have a break of what had been Nicki Minaj song after song. Bucky reached over the center console and grabbed his Taco Bell bag off the floor.
“So what were the fatal flaws of this girl, Buck?” Bucky asked while fishing a taco from the bag.
She wasn’t you.
“I don’t know, she just kept talking about herself. I don’t know, I only said yes to her because I felt bad saying no.” Buck couldn’t explain to anyone in particular why he never was really interested in women. Sure he’s had his fair amount of sexual encounters and lots of kissing with them. He thought it was just because he hadn’t met the right one. “And yeah I know I need to learn to say no it’s just hard.”
“I’m not used to being the level headed reasonable one here, but it’s not fair to you or the girls.” Buck knew that Bucky was making sense and he had fallen into some alternative universe where Buck and Bucky swapped bodies.
“I know this is weird for me, it’s like Freaky Friday.” Buck just wanted to get off the topic of his botched dates. He just wanted to enjoy his chicken sandwich and smoke a joint with his best friend.
“I’m gonna be Jamie Lee Curtis then, you can be Lindsey.”
“I’m too sober to think about this.” Buck set his half eaten sandwich down and pulled the small plastic tube out of his pocket.
“You used the pink paper I got you?” Bucky perked up excited seeing the two joints with the pink wrapping paper.
“Why wouldn’t I? Pink makes everything better.” Buck glanced over at Bucky; everything was dark besides a lamp post in the parking lot slightly illuminating the car; Although, Buck believed Bucky's big, silly smile illuminated them. When he looked at him it was just this different feeling, but he didn’t know what that feeling was.
Bucky watched as Buck put the joint between his lips and fought with his lighter to get it to go. But then it lit and he watched as Buck closed his eyes and took a hit waiting a moment before exhaling. “Okay, don’t hit it too hard, okay?”
“I know,” Bucky stuck out his tongue at him like a child and took the pink joint. It never took much to get Bucky high, he rarely smoked and if he did it was with Buck. He’d get fidgety and nervous around others then start to panic the few times he smoked at one of Bucks parties.
Buck took the joint from Bucky fast as he exhaled and the coughing began. Bucky's face turned slightly red as he coughed into his elbow.
“Here, take a drink.” Buck grabbed his water bottle off the floor and opened it for him.
“No, I'm still choking.” Bucky's voice raspy as he continued coughing, opening the door to spit out the nastiness, “Let me have another hit.”
“In a moment, after you drink some water.” Bucky took the water bottle reluctantly, taking a few sips of water and settling himself, “Okay now just take it easy.”
Bucky swapped the metal water bottle for the joint back and took a smaller hit. Buck almost had forgotten his sandwich as he just watched the other. Buck could watch him do anything and be amazed. There were so many football practices or games where he just would get so distracted from just watching Bucky. His large, veiny hands gripped around the football. The way the football pants really accentuated his ass.
“Wow,” Bucky handed the joint back, coming to full realization he was stupid high from three hits. He rubbed his eyes and Buck could see the redness already setting in.
“I’m gonna finish this off now and eat your tacos that Dickie slaved away making for you.” Buck snickered as he relit the joint, “How’d your test go?”
“I dunno, I don’t do fractions, probably not good.” Bucky rambled through his bites of taco, “Do you want some nacho fries?”
“I don’t know how you eat those.” Buck pushed away Bucky's hand that was holding out an orange fry with too much seasoning on it.
“These are so much better than your church fries. Oh my god the body of christ.” Bucky laughed, grabbing onto Buck's shoulder and shaking him a bit, “Listen if these are the body of christ I’m going to start going to church with Croz.”
Both had finished eating and Bucky reclined his seat back, his hands behind his head as he stared out the sunroof, “Do you think we’ll get married someday?”
“What?” Buck felt his heart skip a beat as he reclined his seat back and looked over at Bucky.
“No I mean like…I don’t know I meant like what if by the time we are 30 and were still not married we should marry each other. Like for the benefits you know?”
“Okay,” Buck snickered, “Would we still have a wedding?”
“I think we should, why waste the opportunity. But I don’t think Grandma Ethel would be very supportive of it. She’d probably say something silly about you starting on fire if you ever entered the church again. Would we get married in a church? I don’t think we should…well I guess if you wanted to or well your parents would want maybe? We could go to one of those progressive churches, like the one Croz goes to that has nacho fries communion.” Bucky rambled with no particular thought behind him.
Buck stared blankly at Bucky. He was absolutely gorgeous, his jawline sharp and that silly, goofy smile still spread on his face.
“I think Croz should get ordained too then he can marry us, or maybe by the time 30 were 30. Dogs can be ordained ministers then Meatball can marry us, he can wear a little suit.”
“I don’t know if Meatball will still be around by the time we're 30.”
“I’m telling you he’s a vampire, he’s gonna colonize Mars.” Bucky hummed, “I’m gonna sing at our weddings too you can’t tell me no, what should I sing? Maybe a love song? I got my drivers license last week.” Bucky started singing and Buck reached over cupping his hand over his mouth to shut him up.
Bucky laughed as he pushed off Buck, “Just like we always talked about!”
“I’d rather listen to Croz sing.”
“You’re such a liar I can see it on your face,” Bucky rolled his eyes poking the others cheek and rolled back onto his back and let his hand linger a little before finding Bucks and interlocking their fingers, “So maybe if we're married we could save some more money and buy a house together. I mean we don’t have to share a bed or anything like that but we could maybe get one with the in-laws sweet. I can live in the in-laws sweet, it’ll be like a bachelor pad. Or we could just live in a house with separate rooms I don’t know. Do you think Croz and Bubbles are gonna get married?”
“Definitely do you say the way they look at each other. Everytime Croz sees him his pupils turn into hearts like a cartoon.”
“For sure, Bubbles is probably the best guy to ever be in a relationship with. Croz tells me that he brings him flowers when they go on dates. You know what if they become our neighbors? They would be like a nuclear 50’s couple. Except I don’t think Croz would be a housewife? But I bet they would buy a house together, that's the house next to ours. But they would for sure have like two ankle biters and live this life. Croz would for sure be in the PTA.” He stopped as Buck gently cradled Bucky's face and ran his thumb over his bottom lip gently.
Bucky felt his cheeks turn bright red as he stared into the others beautiful, blue eyes.
He felt the butterflies beginning to slap around in his stomach as Buck leaned over. He could feel Bucks' breath as their lips were dangerously close.
Then his phone began to ring.
“Shit, it’s my mom.” Buck rolled his eyes, sitting up and answering it. Bucky felt like he had lost all the heat and he was cold again. They’d only ever kissed once before. It was while they were high one time out in the woods behind Bucks house. There was a little creek with a small bridge. They were sitting on the bridge and it had just happened. It wasn’t anything long, but Bucky wanted to do it again and again.
“Sorry I lost track of time, I'll be home soon. Okay bye.” Buck let out a sigh and rubbed his eyes, “How’re you feeling? I can drive, it's worn off for me.”
“I’m feeling fine, do you have eye drops? There’s Axe in the glove compartment.
“Only time your nasty boy perfume comes in handy.” Buck handed the eye drops over to Bucky.
“See you’re thanking me now and you’ll thank me later when Mary Cleven doesn’t know you were off smoking weed with me.” Bucky rolled down the windows and dropped the eye drops into his eyes.
“Don’t count on it,” Buck sprayed the air with axe and then himself, “God it reeks of teenage boy.”
“Not all of us can afford Johnny Depp Dior cologne.” Bucky started the car and turned on Drivers License. Look it was stuck in his head
“Goddamnit,” Buck tilted his head into the headrest.
“You know you love it!” Bucky laughed as he began to sing and Buck couldn’t help but sing along with him.
“And I know we weren’t perfect but I’ve never felt this way for no one!” The two sang Bucky with one hand on the steering wheel, the other conducting his imaginary band as they drove back to Bucks. He knew he’d probably get chewed out by his mom but it was worth it in his opinion to get to spend time with Bucky.
Sure they hung out all the time but no one knew him the way Bucky knew him. They had become each other's safe spaces. If Bucky needed away from his parents he could go to Buck.
If Buck needed a break from studying and doing homework all the time he knew who to call. And maybe he could call if he needed a good someone to kiss.

Uber Allergic: A Romance - part 1 / ?
I don’t know what it is with me and cars lately.  Maybe because I haven’t driven one in nearly 4 years, or maybe because I had a plot bunny about a hired driver and then couldn’t decide which direction to take it.  So, naturally, I wrote 2 stories. A warning: I have never taken an Uber.  I have used a similar company in the country where I live, so I imagined it would be the same.  Apologies for any mistakes.  Hope you enjoy!
The Ride - Part 1
When I saw him standing on the curb waiting, I couldn’t help but blink. And then swallow hard.  The man was stunning: tall, broad-shouldered, long-limbed, with a perfect jawline and dazzling smile.  His hair was that rare coiff that crested like waves from his head, barely brushing his ears, thick and tawny like a lion. When he dropped into the back seat, I saw his eyes were a stunning shade of blue.
I’ve had attractive men in my car before, sure.  But none quite as mind-blowing as this one.
“Heya, darlin’,” he quipped, firing off a devastating wink at me through the rear view mirror.
“Hi,” I replied, barely able to get that single syllable past the lump in my throat.  I prayed I could focus on the road in front of me and not the Greek-god-incarnate in the back seat.  He was headed across town, a trip that would take us roughly 40 minutes.
We rode in silence for almost a full minute, him tapping away on his cell phone while I gritted my teeth and forced my gaze at the horizon. Occasionally I glanced at the GPS, checking that we were on track.
Then…
“heHH?...”
I couldn’t help it.  My eyes darted up to the rear view mirror.
I watched as Greek-god pinched his nostrils shut, rubbing in hard, tight circles, finishing with a small shake of his head, blue eyes blinking furiously.  Was it my imagination, or did those eyes seem to be getting red?
I kept driving.
Not even a minute later…
“heh-heHH?...”
Once more, my eyes snapped like magnets to the rear view mirror.  My passenger was frozen in classic pre-sneeze expression: eyes squeezed shut, mouth open, lower lip trembling… nostrils flared, the tip of his prominent nose visibly twitching.  His elegant head turned left, then right, and then…
“heght--SHHzzztT!!”
He sneezed - snapping into his elbow at the last second.
“B-... Bless you,” I stammered, sure I was blushing red as a tomato.
But Greek god wasn’t done.
He raised his head, eyes still shut, shoulders bouncing with stuttering hitches.  My eyes were darting between the road ahead and the rear view mirror, terrified that I was either going to rear-end someone … or miss one second of the spectacle in the back seat.
Then - a red light.
Thank you! I screamed in my mind to whatever higher power was listening.
When I came back to the rear view mirror, his right hand was raised, hovering loosely cupped, nostrils stretching into little round O’s, his upper lip curled back from gleaming white teeth…
“hegt--SCHgtT!!” he snapped down, visibly misting the hand. This time he stayed down, and I could almost see his abs rippling beneath his button-up shirt.  “eegh--SCHHtT… aAH-SCHTch-u!!”
“Bless you,” I barely breathed, glad that this particular red light seemed to be taking a lot longer than usual.
His voice - husky and a little congested - floated up from behind the hand still cupped to his nose.
“... snfll… thanks, darlin’.  … sdrfl…. Don’t suppose you h-have… sdrffl…  any tissues?”
Fumbling, I opened the glove box and pulled out the stack of drive-through napkins I kept stashed away for emergencies.  Usually spilled coffee.  Twisting in my seat, I set the stack on his left knee, fingertips brushing the hard muscles of his thigh.
Peering through the tawny strands of hair that had been knocked loose by the fit, his eyes crinkled with a smile.  “Thanks.”
An impatient honk made me jump.  Heart pounding, I whipped back around to face the road and eased us forward through the intersection.  His soft chuckle made my ears burn, sure that I was blushing fire-engine red by now.
I heard soft blowing, more wet sniffles, and managed to catch in the mirror when he stretched two KFC napkins between both hands and muffled a wet double: “t’SCHmp--g’SCHHm!”
“Bless you,” I managed, happy when my voice sounded even and calm, even though my hands were gripping the steering wheel hard.
“Darlin’ you don’t… hH!--... have to say that every time… snffl---hHehH!--... l-looks like I m- muhH!-HGK’tSCHHt!... excuse me.  I might be at this a while...”  Taking another napkin from the dwindling stack, he pinched it around his nose and rubbed again in small, fast circles, brows drawing together in concentration.
Grateful for another red light, I stared into the mirror.  My passenger had a fist full of crumpled napkins in one hand, the other pinching and rubbing desperately at increasingly pinkening nostrils.
“Does… this happen often?”
Another husky chuckle, which deteriorated into more hitching breaths and another itchy-sounding sneeze. “hgz’CHHT! … Depends,” he breathed, bringing the knot of used tissues up to dab at his watering eyes.  “Do you have a c-... hHihh!... a cat?”
The Ride - Part 2
My mouth dropped open, eyes wide.  He saw my expression in the mirror and gave another chuckle.  Swiping a knuckle under his nose, he flashed me a wry grin.  “Well, that explains it.”
“I’m sorry,” I looked back at him, stricken.
“Nah, don’t worry about it,” he gave a dismissive shake of his lion’s head.  “You couldn’t know.  heh-GSCHhtu!... And it’s not like there’s a box to tick in the app, or anything. ...snfl…  ‘Driver has pets.’ ...sdrfl … A lot of people do.  Have pets.”
“I know,” I replied softly, turning the wheel smoothly as we rounded a corner.  “But I can still be sorry that you’re… you know…”  I couldn’t bring myself to say it.  I couldn’t even glance in the mirror.
But I heard the smile in his voice when he said, “It’s fine.  Really.  It h--hH!  hg’zCHHt!-heh’GZShht!... excuse me.  It happens a lot, actually. snfl.”
That did make me glance at the mirror, brows raised in surprise… and interest.  “Really?”
Greek god had placed the growing pile of used napkins in the seat beside him, frowning down at both his watch and the small stack of napkins still on his leg. The tip of his nose was flushing a tell-tale pink, blue eyes definitely red-rimmed.  He blinked rapidly and sniffled constantly, dabbing at his eyes or wiping at his nose, overall looking the very picture of ‘itchy’ and ‘allergic.’
“Yeah,” he replied, breath spiraling in preparation for another sneeze… but it left him last-minute, causing him to give a frustrated cough. “I’m allergic to most animals, but you might say I’m… uber allergic to cats.”  Those stunning blue eyes twinkled at me in the mirror, followed by a mischievous wink.
“Why risk taking an Uber, then?”
“Well, as cliché as it sounds... my car is in the shop.”
 “Oh?”
“Yeah, snffll, I got a… hH!--... a recall letter.  Better safe tha-… heh-GSCHt--ahh-GSCHu!... ugh. Apologies.”
We chatted a little more during the ride, about his job as an IT consultant and my 3 jobs: kindergarten teacher, waitress at Olive Garden, and Uber driver.  By the time we reached his destination I had counted no less than 56 sneezes, nearly always he followed up with ‘excuse me,’ or some other polite apologetic. He had used my entire stash of emergency napkins, and his handsome face was a bleary, blotchy wreck: nose red, eyes puffy, voice croaky and thick with congestion.
“I’m sorry, again,” I said when we stopped at the curb in front of his building.
“Add - agaid - you dod’t have adythig to be sorry for,” he rasped, palming the pile of used tissues and reaching for a few that had fallen to the floor.
“Oh, I can do that,” I got out in a rush.  “You don’t have to--”
“Oh, doh,” he chuckled, voice breaking on the second word like a prepubescent.  “I cad take by owd dirty tissues, darlid’.”  Glancing up, he gave me a soft smile.  “You’ve beed padiedt edough about all this.”  Maybe I imagined it, but it looked like he blushed just a little.
“Well it’s my fault,” I insisted.
He opened his mouth to reply, but instead turned and gave a tired-sounding sneeze into his elbow. “H’eISCHt!... gkm, pardod.”
 “Bless you,” I murmured.
“You dow, sdrfl, I usually dod’t like it whed people say that…”
 “I’m sor--”
“But sobehow whed you do,” he glanced back, swiping a knuckle under his nose and giving that same, soft smile.   “I dod’t mide.”
He exited, leaving me staring after him with a mixture of warmth and confusion.  Definitely one of the most… unusual... rides I’d ever had.
Throwing the lever into park, I got out to do my usual check of the interior in case the passenger had left something behind. A flash of white tucked by the seatbelt latch caught my eye.  Thinking Greek god must have missed one of the used napkin wads, I reached for it.
And pulled out a business card.
 “C. B. Decker - Sunfire Technology”
 I turned it over.
“Thanks for the ride...  Have dinner with me sometime?”
I pulled my head out of the car, staring over my shoulder at his building.  I wasn’t sure, but it looked like someone was standing just inside the glazed doors, watching.  Turning back to the card in my hand, I bit my lip.  It was a violation of my Uber contract if I said yes.
 But.
 That guy...
Aw, hell.  I could get by without the income.  Probably.
Maybe.
I looked back at the building, and was now sure I could make out his tall silhouette, tawny mane just a bit disheveled.  The figure suddenly bent forward, and I knew.
I kept my eyes on the building as I made a show of putting the card into my pocket.  It wasn’t a no.  But it wasn’t a yes.
 Not yet.
As I drove home for the night, my imagination spun out as I deliberated whether or not to accept.  One, he knew I had a cat, was apparently ‘uber’ allergic... and wanted to see me again, anyway.  Two, I had been getting tired of driving 30 hours a week, and maybe I could arrange to suspend my contract.  Or I could quit, and then get rehired if things didn’t work out… or, if they did...
I crawled into bed, reaching up to stroke Sheba where she always slept on the second pillow. She made a little mew, flipping her head upside down and curling tighter into a furry ball.
As I drifted off to sleep, his delicious sneezes echoed in my dreams…

Survey #460
“i let it fall - my heart  /  and as it fell, you rose to claim it”
When you were younger, did your mother or father ever let you open a few presents before Christmas or your birthday even arrived? We have a tradition of opening one of the smaller presents on Christmas Eve. If you could receive a 100 dollar gift card for either blouses, pants, dresses, shoes or purses, which would you chose? PANTS. I need new pants BADLY. What is your favorite thing to do after crying? Ex: Sleep, listen to music, have some alone time, talk to someone, etc? It really depends on why I was crying and how hard. Do you think Trump will be assassinated, or will he survive his term? Old survey. I really thought he'd be assassinated more than any other president, honestly. Last time you felt suicidal? A couple weeks ago, but they were only passive thoughts. Last time you had butterflies? Sometime today, thinking about things. Biggest asshole you know? Some relative of my sister's in-laws' is so fucking rude. Literally no one likes him, but because he's family, he comes to events, anyway. Did you ever leave someone because you know you’d hurt them? No. What song did you last listen to? I'm listening to No Resolve's cover of "Set Fire to the Rain" by Adele. I have seriously been into rock/metal covers lately. Ever ridden in a police car? Yes. That's how they transport you from the ER to psych hospitals here. Ever witnessed a murder? JESUS, no. Have you ever lied under oath? No. Have you ever failed a subject before? I failed Algebra I during my last college attempt. Have you ever had a deadly animal as a pet? Noooo. I wouldn't. I want tarantulas, which are venomous (the potency ranging from what side of the world they come from), but even the worst of their venoms isn't fatal. Have you ever kissed someone of the same gender? Yes. Have you ever been in a hot tub before? Yeah. Have you ever been to a movie that sold out? It's possible, idk. What movie last made you too scared to go to sleep? None, I think? When you’re on a laptop, do you hook up a mouse or use the touchpad? I use a mouse. What’s your mom’s mom’s name? Cecelia. Would it be hard seeing someone else kiss the person you like? BOY THAT WOULD SUCK Have you ever been tempted to steal? No. What is the main character’s name in the book you’re reading? Moonwatcher. Do you have a favorite local band? Who are they? No. Who’s the last person you saw naked, aside from yourself? Mom, walking to her bedroom after a shower. Who’s your favorite horror monster/killer? Pyramid Head from the Silent Hill franchise. What kind of music do you prefer to listen to when driving? When I'm driving, no music. I can't focus. Would you ever own a hairless rat, cat or dog? I'd LOVE a sphinx. I doubt I'm ever getting rats or dogs again, but I do think they're cute. Females, anyway. I'm sorry but hairless male animals are just laksdjfk;lajdwkl;wj for obvious reasons. All the people you’ve kissed, what did their names start with? J, T, D, S. What did you and your ex fight about most? "The" ex, uhhhh... I don't really know. We didn't fight a lot. Don’t you love long hugs? YEAH especially if I'm crying or just in general need comfort. And long kisses? If we're serious and the timing is right, yeah. Have you ever purchased condoms? No. Have you ever gone on vacation with your boyfriend/girlfriend? No previous ones, no. Have you ever trashed your ex’s car after an argument? No. Even I wasn't THAT low. Would you leave a note on a car claiming responsibility if you damaged it? Yes. My guilty conscience would eat me alive otherwise. Have you ever used someone's handicapped parking pass to get a parking spot? No, and you're fucking garbage if you have. Are you embarrassed to tell people your job? I'm humiliated to tell people I don't HAVE a job. If you ran over an animal would you keep driving? omfg NO. I would absolutely pull over sobbing, move the animal to the side of the road, and hopefully there will be some wildflowers nearby to rest on it. I'd call whoever picks up roadkill, too. Where’s the best place to eat a romantic dinner? Take me out to Olive Garden like a basic white bitch & feed me spicy shrimp fritas and u have approximately a 90% chance of getting laid. :eyes emoji: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue? Ohhhh I know there's one, but I'm blanking. What would be the most amazing adventure to go on? That is like an impossible question. There are so many possible, epic adventures. When people come to you for help, what do they usually want help with? Writing stuff. Has anybody criticized the way your significant other looked like? Yup, in the past. Like shut the fuck up, are you the one dating them???? Have you written or drawn anything for somebody else? I've done this many, many times. Who has impressed you most with what they’ve accomplished? Idk, there's a lot of people I know like that. What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives? Fall in love. Nothing matches that feeling to me. What would you rate 10/10? markerplayer What do you hope never changes? My resilience. I never want to give up when something knocks me down. Would you ever have sex with the last person you texted? UM THAT IS MY MOTHER Is there anyone that you’d love to just spill your guts to? Girt. Like. Now. But I'm waiting until I actually see him again. This needs to be said to his face. Where is the person you have feelings at right now? He's maybe asleep or just waking up? I don't actually know his exact hours and I know they alternate, but I think he primarily works the night shift at his job? Are you happy with your relationship status? I'm not anymore. I want to be with ^ like very badly. When did you last cry? What for? Today. I'm terrified of loving someone again in the fear of getting very hurt or plain traumatized again. Do you think you’re wasting your time on the person you love? No. When’s the next time you’ll kiss someone? I usually hate questions that assume I can see the future, but I can tell you I plan to whenever I see He Who I've Mentioned a Gazillion Times In Today's Survey Spam. Were you ever scared to death of anyone you knew? Or are you currently? My dad, in the past. Not currently. What’s the longest you’ve been away from home by yourself? If you wanna count hospital stays, like... a month? Have you ever been made fun of, because of what you look like? I've been made fun of online once because of my weight. The insult never left me. Have you ever made fun of others, because of what they look like? No. It's awful. Do you think it’s cute when you’re leaving a place, and a guy says “no hug?” What a dick move. Some people don't like hugs. Do you wear short shorts (if you’re a girl)? I didn't know short shorts were specific to females. Anyway, no. I hate my legs WAY too much. Who are you the most uncomfortable around? My sister's in-laws and her husband. Who has your heart? I'm never giving that to another person again. I've got it. But to answer the general question that's being asked, I've fallen like head over heels for Girt. Should cloning ever be allowed to happen? I think it's pretty... I don't know the right word. It just seems immoral to me? Especially when you start cloning things with an actual conscience. I can see a lot of problems arising from it. Are you impatient with really shy people? Well no, given I'm one of 'em. Does your house have air conditioning throughout, or do you have one that sits in your window? Throughout. What is the most ridiculous band name you’ve heard recently? Recently? Idk. Would you ever get a fashion mullet? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO mullets are so ugly alsdkfj;aljdl;jwe Do you believe that Jesus lived and is returning? Isn't it historical, documented fact he was a living person? Even if that is true though, I don't believe in his "miracles." Do you believe in spiritual gifts? No. Do you believe in callings? No. If you were rich, would you get a professional photoshoot done? UM hell yeah. Pls take pictures of me that help me believe I'm even just 0.001% pretty.

From Online To Reality
Kennadee Charleston was surfing the net one rainy Friday evening & snacking on a candy bar. She stumbled upon a Tumblr page she had never seen before. The username is southwestblogboy. She read the title: My Life In A Nutshell: One Man’s Virtual Journey. She looked at the page & thought to herself, “This looks interesting’. She decided to check out his archive & liked what she saw: a wide variety of interests. She then went back to the home page of his blog & read the description: ‘Corey; 34 year old single guy living life one day at a time. I’m quiet, laid back, funny when I want to be, an avid photography, sports, & music nut. If you feel the urge, hit me up. I like getting to know people & who knows. You may just be who I’m looking for.’ Kennadee then took a cute selfie & saved it to keep on hand in case Mr. Nutshell wanted to see what she looks like.
Corey Stevenson sat at his laptop, just finishing emails & decided to add more things to his Tumblr page, when he saw he had a message. He clicked on it & read the following: Hello Corey. My name is Kennadee. I came acrossed your blog, took a look around, & I really like what you post. You didn’t mention where you’re from, so I am wondering about that. If you would like to chat, reply back.
Corey decided to check out her page. He smiled at her alias: monsoonprincess. He read her title: I’ll Be Your Girl For All Seasons, All The Year Through & then read her description: ‘Atmospheric Science major aka Weather Geek! Alongside of studying the weather for a living, I enjoy music, sports, photography, good movies, roadtrips, damn good Mexican food, & a sense of humor. Feel free to  say hello. I don’t bite THAT hard!’
He replied back: Hi Kennadee. Thank you for your message. You have a great blog too. By the way, I am an Arizona boy. Attended U of A in Tucson. IT major with a minor in English. I think it’s awesome you are into the weather. You could probably teach me a thing or two. Do you storm chase also?
She replied back: I also attended U of A & luckily graduated before they sold the Atmo Sciences program to the Scum Devils LOL I would love to talk weather with you anytime! I am also here in Arizona. I live in Chandler. Where are you?
He replied back: I am also in Chandler. Can I see a picture?
She sent his picture. He told her she is beautiful & sent her a picture in return of him. She found him to be very handsome: a dark blonde, blue eyed man with glasses & the most gorgeous, perfect white teeth she had ever seen. She was blonde, green eyes, glasses & straight white teeth as well.
After that night, they chatted online or by phone every night for a month straight before deciding to finally meet in person at a Starbucks the next morning for breakfast.
Kennadee got up, showered, did her hair, found her outfit for the day, put deodorant on, sprayed body spray on, got dressed, brushed her teeth, rinsed her mouth with mouthwash, put her makeup on, put her glasses on, threw on her shoes, & out the door she went. Corey showered, put deodorant on, sprayed some cologne on, got dressed, brushed his teeth, combed his hair, put his glasses on, as well as his shoes, & was ready to go. Kennadee drove to Starbucks, parked her black Edge in a space, & got out. She heard a voice acrossed the lot yell “Kennadee!”. She looked & there he was, the most beautiful man on the planet, Corey. She walked faster & he met her halfway. They giggled as they said hello to one another with a hug. They went inside & he insisted on buying her breakfast so she let him. They got their food & drinks & went to a table to sit down. They talked as if they had known each other all their lives & spent the rest of the day together. They went to see a movie that afternoon, shared a bucket of popcorn & got sodas. Corey took her hand in his during the movie & they both enjoyed that. Afterward, they were hungry for dinner & chose Olive Garden. He drove her back to her car at the Starbucks after dinner. She enjoyed riding in his truck, a beautiful white Ford he had recently bought. When they pulled up next to her Edge, she got a little sad, as did he. He looked at her & said, “Kennadee, I don’t want this day to end. I have really enjoyed being with you”. “I don’t either Corey. You are amazing & I like you”. They stared at each other for a minute. Corey’s hands were in hers. “I like you too & I really want to kiss you”, he said. “I want you to kiss me”, she said. Their lips met in the most wonderful kiss. They kept on kissing. They hugged each other & she began to kiss his neck. He loved feeling her lips on his neck. He also loved the sensations happening inside his jeans, as she was turning him on & he was trying to fight it. He was afraid that if he put the moves on her he would go too far too fast. She kissed him very passionately. Their tongues met in the most romantic way & he couldn’t keep his hands from roaming her body. Hers were already roaming his. “Kennadee I usually don’t take girls home on the first date, but I don’t want to be without you tonight”, he said, kissing her again. “Corey, I never want to be without you. You’re everything I want & have waited for”, she said. “Follow me to my place then”, he said, & kissed her. She agreed to & followed him to his place. He was standing outside the open garage & told her to pull her Edge in there. She did. She got out & he kissed her again. “I’ll give you a tour of my place”, he said, taking her hand in his. He took her through every room of his bachelor pad & showed her the back yard, which contained a beautiful pool, hot tub, seating, & a built in outdoor kitchen for grilling & barbecues. “This is gorgeous”, she said. “Glad you like it because you’ll be spending a lot of time here now that we’re together’, he said with a smile. “Good because with you is where I want to be”, she said, giving him a big smile. She kissed him again & he held her in his arms. He pointed to the sky & mouthed the words “Thank you” to the heavens above.
They were out in his back yard, sitting on the outdoor sofa, kissing. She wanted him badly & he wanted her but also wanted to be a gentleman. She pulled him on top of her as she lay down & their mouths met again. Her hands ran down his back & she massaged his ass. He felt sensations in his jeans again & she felt them too, as he was pressed against her lower body, & she was getting turned on as well. She felt her panties get damp with desire. He kissed her neck & she said, “Corey, that feels so good”. “Glad you like it babe”, he said, & kissed her neck some more. One of his hands found the zipper on her blouse & unzipped it. “May I remove this?” he asked. “Please do”, she said. She wanted to be naked with him & was having a very hard time trying to control herself. She unbuttoned his shirt & took it off, loving his gorgeous upper body. He took very good care of himself & she told him so. He said the same about her, especially when he then removed her bra-less blouse. He sucked on her breasts & kissed all over them. He then held her to him, loving the feel of their bare chests together. “I want you Kennadee but I don’t want to go too far either”, he said. “Corey, I want you. It’s obvious we are crazy about each other & we are meant to happen. You are a true gentleman in every sense of the word. Show me how much you want me”, she said. “You’re right. I want you very much & I’ll admit it. I’ve wanted you since the night we started chatting”. “Really? I’ve wanted you too since then”, she replied. Corey was very happy. He found the girl of his dreams & now he had her there with him, he way it should be.
Corey untied her wraparound skirt & saw her pink lacy panties. “Damn you’re sexy. I am the luckiest man on the planet”, he said. She smiled & kissed him, undoing his jeans. He took them off & she saw black silk boxers on his sexy frame. “You are so damn sexy Corey. I’m the lucky girl who gets to have you as my own”, Kennadee said, running her hand down his body. He took her panties off & she took off his boxers. She had slip on shoes without socks & kicked them off when they sat down on the couch. After removind his boxers, he took off his shoes & socks & sat down on the couch. Kennadee, who was now sitting up, began to kiss him while fondling his already-erect cock, making him moan. He told her to open her legs so he could touch her & she did. He loved that she was wet & he got even harder for her. He asked her how she liked to be touched & she told him with the middle finger, nice & slow to build her orgasm. He did exactly that & she moaned. He was really turned on watching his girlfriend get off to his finger pleasuring her pussy. She was enjoying stroking his cock & he was enjoying her doing so.
He slid his finger out of her & licked it seductively. “You taste so good. I want more of that”, he said, smiling wickedly. “Plenty more for you”, she said. He told her to lie down on the sofa & she did, opening her legs so he could go to town on her wet pussy with his tongue. He made love to her pussy with his tongue & enjoyed her sweet scent & taste. She enjoyed the feel of his tongue inside her, building her orgasm up gradually.
It was a beautiful summer evening. Neighbors were on vacation & Corey’s house was on one corner of the cul-de-sac he lived in. Kennadee expressed her pleasure to what he was doing. He enjoyed tasting his girlfriend & exploring her with his tongue. He gave her multiple orgams, each more intense than the previous one & she made out with him when he was done. She loved the taste of her cum as did he & it turned him on even more when she told him so. She then told him to lie down while she sucked his cock. She wanted to devour his cum like he did hers & she got her wish, as she brought him to orgasm & he filled her mouth with his sweet cum. She laid down next to him & they made out. He wanted to get hard again so they could make love. She was playing with his sensitive cock while they were making out & he was fingering her again. After he got her to orgasm again, he rubbed her cum on his cock. He than began to stroke it & she loved that. He moaned as he grew harder & harder. Soon he was ready to be inside the love of his life. He made passionate love to her on the outdoor couch, underneath the moon & stars that night. Soon, they were thrusting & building up their orgasms...faster, deeper, harder!
When they came, they came together & Corey told Kennadee he loved her. Kennadee told Corey she loved him. “I know this happened fast, but I don’t regret any of it”, Corey said. “I don’t either. I am very happy. I owe it all to my blog”, Kennadee said. “I owe it to mine too”, Corey agreed. They grabbed their clothes & shoes, went inside, & went to bed.

The Ultimate Guide to Naju: 50 Places to Visit in Naju in South Jeolla
Tumblr media
Where's Naju?
Naju (나주시) is a small populated "city" in South Jeolla Province, South Korea. The capital of South Jeolla was located at Naju until it was moved to Gwangju in 1895. The name Jeolla (전라) actually originates from the first character of Jeonju (전주) and the first character of Naju (나주).
Despite being a relatively small, remote city, Naju offers quite a bit to the dedicated tourist or to the expat who happens to find Naju home.
Cool history: In 1986, the governmental name changed into modified from Geumseong to Naju. In 1995, Naju city became extended to include Naju county.
What's Naju famous for?
If you watch k-dramas or visit Seoul in South Korea, you may see "나주 곰탕" Naju gom-tang soup restaurants or hear about the delicious "나주 배" Naju pears.

Naju is a city with history and modern culture.
"Its beauty comes from the harmony of history and modern culture within. The spiritual healing offered by Naju comes from this harmony."
Naju has plenty of rice fields and pear farms on the outskirts of the new "Naju Innocity Bitgaram" which is located in the eastern section of the Naju province. As of 2018, there are 12 Korea public service companies and business workers in Bitgaram, the Naju Innocity.
Here are 50 activities, cultural museums, delicious restaurants, cool cafes, and other places you should visit in Naju, South Korea.

Naju has a new inno-city called Bitgaram (빛가람동) which became an Innovative City and the outlet ceremony for metropolis construction started on November 8, 2007. Former President Roh participated within the beginning activities. As the town received the name of "Innovative City", several Korean public companies of work transferred from Seoul, to the Naju area. Naju's creation changed into 4th began after Jeju, Gimcheon, and Jinju. Upon entering Bitgaram city, you'll immediately see some tall buildings of the companies: KEPCO, Knowledge Information Service Center, Korea Information Security Agency, Radio Research Laboratory, Korea Radio Station Management Agency, Program Deliberation & Mediation Committee.
2 - Lake Park (빛가람 호수공원)
A quite large park with both bicycle and walk paths all around the Innocity lake. Water fountain and light show starts at 8 p.m. on weekdays. And live busking music performances are scheduled on Wednesday evenings. Sometimes you’ll find other planned events, sponsored by KEPCO, KDN, Korea Council of Arts, or other companies, for families or couples to enjoy in Lake Park.
Also a bridge connects for walkers to hike up to the Bitgaram landmark observatory, or have picnics under the trees.
Address:  Jeollanam-do, Naju-si, 호수 로 77
3 - Bitgaram Observatory
The Bitgaram Observatory looks like an alien ship! The facilities for the observatory include an exhibition hall, restaurant, Hole Cafe, gallery and parking lots. You can ride the Monorail for 1,000won to the top of the observatory for a view of the Bitgaram city.

Things to do in Naju, old Naju and history.
Metasequoia-Tree Road (나주 산림자원연구소)
Many visitors and Koreans know about the famous Nami Island Metasequoia Tree Lane; however, there’s actually a similar one here in Naju!! It’s a botanical garden and research institute, so you can see a wide variety of trees, flowers, and other plants. There’s also some benches and large grass area for picnics!

Naju Station
Naju Station on the Honam Line is a busy station, servicing 29 KTX and 18 SRT trains every day. The line between Naju and Mokpo Stations is also being expanded to include Muan International Airport from October 31. While the current Naju Station is quite nice, the old Naju Station is worth a visit due to its historical importance; the former station was the starting point for the Gwangju Student Independence Movement.

Learn the Significance of Old Naju Station - It’s now the Gwangju Student Movement Memorial Hall
At Old Naju Station, you can learn more about the Korean students of Gwangju and Jeonnam resisted the oppression of the Japanese imperialists. It sparked with the incident of the Korean girl being harassed at Naju Station on October 30, 1929 and an anti-Japanese protest was staged on November 3. However, this small movement spread into a nation-wide Anti-Japanese and is also significant to Gwangju’s history too.

The Statue of Peace, also often called Sonyeosang in Korean pronunciation, is a symbol of the victims of sexual slavery, known as comfort women, by the Korean military during Vietnam War and the Japanese imperial military during World War II.

Visit Naju’s best palace site, Geumseonggwan Hall (금성관)
The top attractions of Naju are Geumseonggwan Hall, a guesthouse operated by the Naju Government Office for visiting officials during the Goryeo and Joseon periods, and Geumhakheon House, a reconstruction of the private residence of the Naju Moksa (highest government official in the region).
I recommend starting at Geumseonggwan Hall for a history tour and then enjoying the peaceful five-minute walk to Geumhakheon House. You’ll be able to find the residence when you spot a grand hackberry tree towering over all the other trees. There are also many cherry blossom trees in the area, making it a popular attraction in spring. Unlike Geumseonggwan Hall, guests can actually spend the night at Geumhakheon House. Book a night here to feel like a traveling dignitary from the Joseon dynasty!

Eat Gomtang Soup on Gomtang Street (near Geumseonggwan Hall)
Naju is also famous for gomtang (beef bone soup). What makes Naju’s version of gomtang so special is their use of plate and shank cuts of beef for the flavoring of the broth instead of the standard beef bones used in other regions. It has also remained true to its original recipe throughout the years, drawing people back again and again. The area around Geumseonggwan Hall and Geumhakheon House is filled with gomtang restaurants, making it an easy choice when visiting!

Ride a traditional Korean boat, a Dotpae (돛배), on the Yeongsan River.
To do this, you need to go out to the Yeongsan-Po District. The boat is located across the street from Skate Street. You get a ticket - free for Naju residents and maybe 3,000won for non-residents - and you get to go on a 10 minute boat ride a good ways up the Yeongsan River. The boat ride offers exceptional views of the Naju countryside, and occasionally, they have musicians on the boat who play traditional "river boat" music. It can be quite a nice time.
Also quickly visit the Yeongsangpo Museum for free admission.
Yeongsanpo Skate Festival (영산포 홍어축제)
Some history myths: The myth says that Arangsa and Abisa fell in love with each other in the vicinity of the Yeongsangang River during Korea’s Three Kingdoms Period (57 B.C.-A.D. 668). In jealousy, young villagers threw Abisa into the river, but she was brought to life in the form of a giant snake. Alas, then both of them fell into the river near the Angam Rock (pictured). This area is known for its rapid currents which have overturned numerous riverboats.

Naju Image Theme Park (영상테마파크)
This is one of Korea's most interesting and underrated tourist attractions. The name is horribly misleading as are many of Korea's "theme parks.”. This place is actually a movie/TV drama set built as an elaborate Joseon-era castle with rooms you can walk in, traditional clothes you can try on, musical instruments you can play, vendors with traditional cheledon pottery you can buy, etc. -- all of which culminates in a spectacular view of the Naju countryside from atop the castle walls. It's a good 20 minutes outside the city. Tickets cost 5,000w, and if you are a Naju resident, you can get a discount (this applies to foreigners, too, so long as your ARC lists Naju as your official address). Check out their official site for more information: http://english.visitkorea.or.kr/enu/ATR/SI_EN_3_1_1_1.jsp?cid=495604
This is the Naju Image Theme Park, where the soap operas "Jumong" and "Kingdom of the Winds" were filmed. Located in the southwestern parts of the country, the city of Naju was occupied by the Baekje Kingdom during Korea's Three Kingdoms Period (57 B.C.-A.D. 668). First-time visitors to the theme park can reflect on the nation's history and may have questions about the Goguryeo-style architecture.
The Naju Image Theme Park is one of the most sought-after locations to film historic soap operas, especially those set in Goguryeo (37 B.C.-A.D. 668) and Baekje (18 B.C.-A.D. 660) times. The park is surrounded by some 95 buildings.

Abandoned Bowling Alley
Nearby Dongshin University, there is a large bowling alley which has been abandoned since the 1990s. Koreans don't seem to have the same fascination with abandoned buildings as Westerners do, so there aren't any drug addicts or vagrants hiding in the place. It's definitely worth a visit. If you feel so inclined, you can go bowling with ghosts and ghouls; there are plenty of bowling balls, pins, and even bowling shoes available. After you've finished your game, you can head downstairs and sing to your heart's desire at the abandoned norae-bang. If you don't believe in the netherworld, however, you can pilfer through boxes of unused shot glasses and mugs. To get there from Hoban Apartments: walk towards the university, turn right at the street that's in front of the university. Walk about 25 yards, then, you'll see paths that lead you towards the bowling alley on your right.

Relax at Jungheung Gold Spa & Resort (중흥 골드스파 & 리조트)

Bike the Yeongsan River.
One of the best things about Naju and much of Korea is the access to the kilometers and kilometers of bike trails. Theoretically, you can bike all the way around the country from any one of the trails. In Naju, the trails are breathtaking in their beauty, personified by majestic farm lands, cattle yards, and truly sublime views of the River. Every 5 kilometers or so, there is a rest station; some offer maps. If you manage to bike through this area, it's recommended that you try to pass by Neureoji Observatory (느러지전망대), which is a lookout tower, where you can stare out across an oxbow in the River. You can read more about that here: Namu Wiki
Address:
Hike Geum-seong Mountain (금성산).
It's not a particularly tall mountain, but it does offer some stunning views and as with most mountains in Korea, quaint, enlightening Buddhist Temples nestled here and there. What makes this mountain interesting is its history: With its several jutting peaks, three in total, it has the look of a dragon's back, and so, dating back to Korea's shamanistic days, Geum-seong Mountain has been worshiped as a holy place. Also, during the Korean war, a group of North Korean soldiers got stranded up there after MacArthur's famous attack on Incheon; those soldiers set up landmines around the mountain and held out until the bitter end. There's a South Korean military base up there now, making the highest peak inaccessible. However, there is a water park located over the first ridge of the mountain; it's only open in the summer and may look out-of-business, because they drain the pools every day (strange), but it's definitely worth a visit.

Gatbawi Rock and the coastal walkway to reach it are a must when visiting Mokpo. Gatbawi Rock, Natural Monument No. 500, is said to look like two men wearing gat (traditional Korean hat). In the past, people had to ride a boat if they wanted to see the rocks. However, with the installation of a coastal footpath, visitors can easily walk to the rocks over the sea, enjoying the breeze on their way.
Gatbawi Culture Town is within walking distance, perfect for travelers who enjoy getting to know the local culture and arts. The tourism complex is comprised of the National Maritime Museum, Mokpo Culture & Arts Center, Mokpo Natural History Museum, Local Culture Hall, and Namnong Memorial Hall.

Day 20 - Magic Kingdom
TLDR: An amazing jam-packed final day at Magic Kingdom. We done LOADS of rides, met some lovely princesses, watched a show or two, had an awesome lunch with Tigger and friends and stared in wonder at a fantastic fireworks and light show. If Carlsberg done final days...
So I sit down with the last glassful of the Woodford Reserve I have left, now well into the wee small hours, to finish writing up the final full day.  Magic Kingdom. The last day before going home tomorrow. The last day we got to experience the Disney Magic. It's been a fantastic holiday and we were determined to make the most it.
As we shared the responsibility of the Fun Fact with Grace the other day, we said that Robert would get a turn today and he pretty much shouted it out as he woke up, so here it is:
Robert shares the same birthday as Walt Disney!
You have reached your destination, or maybe not...
Very apt for today. So we all got ready, jumped in the car and plugged Magic Kingdom into the Sat Nav as per usual. I had my phone all set up to video the big Walt Disney World sign as we drove underneath it, but it never came. On this particular occasion, for some unknown reason the wee sat nav wummin (which is what we called her), took us a weird route and we missed the WDW sign completely. Which was a shame, but we also seemed to bypass the Parking gates and their $20 fee, which might have just evened things out a little. We turned into a Disney resort to make a u-turn and the security guy just said just to park there (even though he wasn't supposed to let us, wink wink). And it was right next to the parking and transportation for Disney! Woot!
We traveled over to Magic Kingdom on our last day, like we did the first, by Ferryboat. Probably takes the same amout of time as the Monorail but its way more scenic. We arrived and got through the gates of the park with less than 15 minutes to spare on our first Fast Pass - Splash Mountain. Grace wasn't too fussed, so me and the boys ran (RAN!) through Adventureland and into Frontier land, making the queue with minutes to spare (they're are very strict on their FP timings, one minute out and you dont get in). This is always a good one to start off with and the regular queue was sitting at 75mins already so FP is always a good option here. Robert now accustomed to higher and faster rides wasn't fazed at all, as the ride photo shows...
Tumblr media
So the plan was to grab some Dole Whips when we entered the park but as our times were pushed back slightly, after Splash Mountain we met back up with the girls and grab them, then. Dole whips - pineapple flavoured ice cream and a MK favourite.  We sat down to savor the deliciousness of it. Just what you need for breakfast on a super hot day like today. As we were finishing up we noticed a secret path, straight through to Frontier land, which is where we were going next. Each time we are here, we learn new things which all adds to the experience for next time. Major things to call out like this are Olive Garden, this secret path and the comic book book store of course (next time Gadget, next time).
Now in the interests of time and as we’ve been here before Im running through the next few rides. Im not cutting corners, Im just saving you from me going through the same stuff I’ve went through a number of times before. I may also use this option again, later on in this update, so this is your heads up. Big Thunder - DONE! Haunted Mansion (3rd time) - DONE! Its a Small World - DONE!
Everything except the Hunny
At this point in time, we were hungry. Instead of grabbing a snack we though it would be a good idea to see if there was availability at any restaurants in the park and we were in luck - Crystal Palace had space (a place we had booked but later cancelled due to conflicting plans).  We reached the restaurant just as it started to pour from the heavens :) Lunch was actually a huge buffet and it was filled with Winnie the Pooh and friends, who visited each table to sign autographs and get photos taken. First things first, the food. It was freaking amazing, and I dont think Ive ate so many veggies the whole holiday. HUGE Langoustines, Flank steak, Jambalaya, Chicken, Salmon, potatoes, rice, salad and fifty other things you could pile on to your plate again and again. Ive never seen such an elegant buffet. This is Disney though, I wouldn't have expected anything less. Yes, it was a little more costly than usual, but this was our last day and the food alone was worth it. Buuut, you didn't just get that, you got character(s). Yup, Pooh, Tigger, Piglet & Eeyore all came around and cuddled the kids, signed their book, posed for photographs and all larked about with them - it was brilliant! For this being an off the cuff booking, the kids went absolutely wild for it (and in particular Grace). So glad we did this and we were all stuffed as we left back into the wet, pelting rain.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Two pretty princesses up next, Rapuzel & Tiana. Inside, so that was good. Photos and autographs and back out and during the course of that whole process, the rain had stopped - FINALLY! (Forecast said it wasn't meant to rain at all today, HA!).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Our last Fast Pass, Seven Dwarves Mine Train up next. The first time Grace went on this, she was a little apprehensive, by the time she finished this time, it was her most favourite ride. She wanted to do it again right after but we just didn't have time.
Tumblr media
Next up we had some gentler rides. Dumbo - wee fairground, roundabout type ride. Then Journey of the Little Mermaid. A ride which takes you through Ariel's journey of the film. We then met Ariel (but  I didn't get a photo with her, :wee sad face: ). Then we got the steam train around the park (expected more scenic stuff - it was literally a train from A to B and back to A). Then Tomorrowland Speedway - GG and me in car, she started steering but got bored after 10 secs and I had to drive... whilst videoing the whole thing! Then I wanted to see Merida but she was gone (double :wee sad face:). Then Winnie the Pooh, the story of which I didn't actually pay close enough to, so I cant tell you about it, soz. The spinning teacups in the Mad Hatters tea party! Phew, we did a LOT today!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We then stopped for a refuel and the kiosk attendant was called David and he was from Glasgow!!! We all ordered drinks and ice-creams and he just turned round and gave it to us FOR FREE!!! We were all wearing Celtic shorts today so he mustve been a :P (he actually gave Ann and Grace a free drink which we were in Space Mountain last time we were here too - cheers Davido).
Last few attractions in before the fireworks. Monsters Inc Laugh Floor. So. Funny. A stand up show with monsters including MIKE WAZOWSKI in which they interact with the audience for some laughs. I was proper laughing out loud. And then Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, a shooting game where you get points for shooting targets. You know how this works by now. You know what though, the scores dont matter today, so Im not posting any leaderboard. We all just had a great time :)
Baby, you're a Firework!
We were running late for the Fireworks show, so we got in the best position we could (which wasn't all that great, well for photos at least). Awesome display, which weve come to expect so great we got to grab it on our last night here. And then, the show Ann was holding out to see -Once Upon A Time. This is where they project images onto the castle itself which tell a story, which comprised of several different Disney princesses and their related songs. We managed to move to a better (read great) location to see the castle this time, so we were all left in awe. In fact, it got a little too much for the kids who had a little tear or two, realizing that this was their last night and their last time at Magic Kingdom this time around. As we have proven to ourselves time and time again though, we belong here and this will be far from our last visit. So we all say a quick goodbye and headed off to the Monorail to the carpark (secret free location of our car). One last thing to mention before I move on, Gary our Monorail attendant noticed the kids a little upset so he told them to write down all the happy things they did during their time here and then write down all the things they missed, which would be included in our plans for next time. The attention and service from all Disney staff is always like this, you cant quite believe how good it is.
Tumblr media
Before we headed home, we need to make a quick pit-stop at Walmart to pick up so additional carry on bags (we need to maximize our carry potential and even out our weight distribution if were ever going to make it through the airport tomorrow). Two cases and some sweets for work picked up and headed home to sleep and pack. And its getting quite late, so I'm calling it quits here, there are likely more than usual typing and grammar errors and less pics posted than I would have liked (even though we took loads today), but I'm up in about 3 hours and we have a long day ahead of us. Ill post a final update and summary tomorrow for day 21 (at some point), but for now, ciao!
