okay. OKAY. ok. um. exposing my lore. also SORRY i rarely use color these days bc ive never had a good grasp on it so it’s just. very rough ideas here. a concept if u will.
anyway lore under the cut bc it’s long and all over the place and i do not expect anyone to have the patience LOL but it will be here. for ME. 😌
FOR THE RECORD before there was really an english twst fandom anywhere, i just had my friend in discord as we dove into translations off of youtube early on. these characters kinda were born from discord ramblings and goofy inside joke doodling BUT now im going. to share or whatever. i mentioned these two here but ill probs cover all that again here as i will try to be thorough!!!
anyway i have to give backstory in like 2 sections first. these guys [if u dont care then skip to the bullets for the actual character lore/story summaries], their main purpose for existence is CATERELLA soap opera drama. WHAT is caterella you might ask??? some people in the fanbase either headcanon or theorize or au-ify cater as being in a cinderella storyline bc he’s got the 2 pushy older sisters and kind of a more solemn side he hides while trying to be all upbeat around others yadda yadda. i thought that was FUN. i have. so many different branches of caterella aus/concepts involving other potential cater ships lol, but this is the only oc route. i have a really big web of all those potential ideas but it’s VERY erratic and would be a monster of a thing to show anyone. also it’s embarrassing LOL so it stays in discord. for now.
ANYWAY. first we have CHAR (left). He’s very loosely based off prince charming from cinderella. a friendly guy, in line for the throne or whatever, and I think a third year at RSA. He’s long lost childhood friends with CATER from when they were like, five years old or something, but lost contact when cater had to move away because of his dad’s work.
Canonically, Cater has said he’s had to move around every two years or so because of his dad’s job (i think he’s a banker or something? i dont remember exactly tho). Because of this, cater’s mentioned a lot that he’s not really had childhood friends that he grew up with, like how trey, riddle, and chenya have each other.
a while ago on twitter (or pixiv? idr) when i was scrounging for fanart, I came across fanart of cater and some RSA guy smiling and waving to him, and cater looked kinda like, surprised and startled?
now this was like a Year Ago and I can’t remember how much of it was in the image vs how much came from my inference vs how much i came up with later on my own - according to my discord rambles, adeuce were in that pic in the background going :0, and it looked like they were in town shopping or something and had run into this guy. i feel like i either got the impression from the post that cater knew the guy and he was recognizing and happy to see cater, and cater was either like “uhh who r u” or “oh, uh, nice to see you too what a surprise??” and i was like oooo maybe hes a childhood friend. idr if the post or his design specified he was prince charming or if i did that myself to fit caterella better. i do not remember what the guy looked like in the post lol.
ANYWAY from there i pretty much took off running with the concept of cater having a childhood friend that had a crush on him and then was all sad when he moved away, only to run into him year’s later on sage’s island when he was in town shopping and cater was out with ace and deuce.

OKAY moving on FOR NOW to. lol. Dañarte. like i mentioned in the other post, that very much Is Not A Name and was kind of just a joke at first bc of my typo getting autocorrected.
sorry it’s BLURRY anyway he spawned into existance a few months later when i was trying to say fanart and autocorrect said Dañarte. which is just spanish for harm you. this was maybe while i was tyring to think of a name for char, my friend said it sounded like a fancy prince name, i looked up the meaning, my friend was like oh god it’s a threat, i remembered hans from frozen existed, and then that catrella line grew more branches. he eventually ended up in the role of char’s cousin and a second year[we’ll come back to that]. since hans had that whole thing of i think he was like one of 7 brothers or something he was all huffy about not having a place to rule of his own or whatever?? i was like hmm maybe he’s all jealous that his cousin’s in line for whatever throne they’re a royal family for 🤔 which flkjdslf yeah kinda ended up sounding like leona LOL dont worry about it that’s not the POINT the point is SOAP OPERA ROMANCE DRAMA!!!!
anyway. god this is already so much and i’ve barely gotten into it LOL UM... according to discord here’s a rundown of what my initial thoughts with char were:
rsa and nrc are having a mixer party thingy [hosted at RSA] and cater’s talking about how GRAMMABLE it’ll be and that he wants to find a fun outfit
he jokes(?) “oh maybe i’ll finally find my prince charming there lol~ since no one here appreciates caycay’s charm 😔”
riddle’s like 😒yea yea cater please pull your head out of the clouds and take the first years to town so you guys can do the shopping for the next unbirthday party
big brother caycay takes adeuce and probably other npcs off to do the shopping list stuff
MEANWHILE!!! at RSA, Char is hanging out with BESTIE CHENYA and talking about the mixer with nrc. chenya mentions he’s got some friends at NRC and pulls up magicam to show char some IMAGES- specifically he goes to CATER’S magicam bc riddle didnt really use magicam except that one time he made an acct to help cater study [ft in riddle’s dorm uniform story ❤] and idk trey probs doesnt post much besides maybe baking pics, dont worry about it, the important thing is that he pulls up a selfie caycay took with the heartslabyul family
[chenya voice] those are my childhood besties, trey and riddle, those are their funny little sons ace and deuce, and that one in the middle is cater, he’s fun too-
[char voice] !!! the one with orange hair you said is cater? not cater diamond, is it????
chenya goes back to the main profile page and is like ya it says his last name’s diamond
char’s all 😳 and tells chenya he knows cater, because the two of them were childhood friends!! and wonders if he’ll see cater at the mixer....
chenya goes “oooo or we could go see him right now nyahahaha” bc BOOM cater JUST posted a selfie 15 seconds ago with his adeuce sons out shopping in town!!!!
they zoom to town, chenya jumpscares his pals bc it’s the law 😌 and then char comes up to cater and is like “it’s been so long cater!!! do you remember me??” and caters like 🤔 who’s this pretty boy talking to me 🤔
said pretty boy’s like “I’m char!!! we used to play together all the time when we were little!!! but then you had to move away 🥺“ and cater’s like “....hmmm.... i do that a lot- OH!!!!! I remember now!!! wow, let’s take a reunion selfie 🤗” and they do, it’s cute.
char’s like “haha glad you remember! we were each other’s first kiss after all 😌” and caters like UM 😳 and adeuce are watching like 😯😯 and chenyas 👀
and it’s just something goofy, char’s like “yea we were like five and we had a wedding on the playground and you kissed me 😊 and then we promised to get married for real when we were old enough hahaha” [<- partially inspired by my mother telling me when i was like 2 i ‘married’ my bestie on the playground. i have no memory of this but jklsdfsd ANYWAY]
cater’s all “ahahaaaa omg that’s sooo embarrassing i cant believe you remember that!!!” and char says something like “oh yea of course I do! i had like the biggest crush on you back then and i was soooo sad when you moved away forever 🥺” and caters like oh, ummmmm 👍
still they exchange magicams/numbers/whatever and go about their business with adeuce pestering cater for the rest of the trip like the nosy little brothers they are
fast forward to heartslabyul returning to the dorm and ace [like in the doodle up there ^ lol] LOUDLY barges in shouting something like “CATER HAS A BOOOOOOOOOOYYYYFRIIIIEEEEEEENDDDDDDDD!!!!!!” and cater’s all flustered and swatting at him like ace!!! no!!!! 😤😤
riddle n trey are just ?????? confused
cater’s just like “we just ran into an old friend of mine who goes to RSA now, and he asked me to be his date to the mixer, that’s all!!!!”
juice is just like “👀diamond senpai is this the Prince Charming™ you were talking about 👀” and caters like “🤔 i was totes kidding before but this totally does feel like something ROMANTIC out of a fairytale doesn’t it? haha how fun~”
POTENTIAL AU ALTERNATE BRANCH: for some maybe light angst, a potential trey route, trey’s either quietly listening like oh.... 💔💔💔 bc secretly HE had wanted to ask cater to be his date to the mixer. OR maybe he’s feeling some sadness but isnt sure why, talks to riddle alone later about it and is all “idk what it is with me, i guess i just assumed cater would be with us at the event like the three of us usually are, but i guess... he will be busy if he has a date....” and riddle has NO romance experience in his LIFE so hes just like “hmm yes i suppose it will be different to be at an event without cater constantly at our sides, but i am sure he will still hunt us down for his ‘memories’ to take pictures of, like always 😌“ and they just kinda laugh it off for the time being. but then cater’s texting this boy more and trey’s getting increasingly more restless and coming to terms w/the fact that hes PINING after his BESTIE!!! it’s ok in this branch they would be endgame sorry char
i also had a side note of other alternative branches for vil and malleus being the endgame, like aduece gossip about cater to the first year group and somehow it makes it back to them via epel or sebek. tho vil doesnt get the full story at first and just hears some pretty rsa guy asked cater out to the mixer and hes like “was it neige 😠😒” but anyway this aint about these guys those are just. some of many caterella alts. not even all the alts are char related LOL anyway
so that’s as far as I had for that specific concept before Dañarte spawned. heres another doodle of them

Dañarte starts as an RSA guy but eventually will change to NRC, mirroring how hans was like ‘ooo im a nice charming prince u can trust me’ and then went all jk im a villain bye
cousin to char, second year, they more or less maybe grew up together but Dañarte never met cater or if he did it wasnt often so they wouldnt remember or know each other
Dañarte and cater meet either at the aforementioned mixer or just at RSA if cater’s over there hanging out with Char and catching up
Dañarte is all charming and sparkly like most RSA students so he and Cater hit it off real fast 😉✨ and Char’s like, oh, uhhh, ok 😅??
cater either doesnt know Char’s interested in him again or he’s just not sure what to make of it, Dañarte does know Char’s into Cater and deliberately steals him away bc he resents his cousin. petty teenager drama lol
so ya potential route, Dañarte ends up dating cater for a while. but then [VAGUE SITUATIONS] occur and they have relationship problems and break up, leaving caycay HEARTBROKEN
WHICH!! could lead to more au branching LOL for who potentially is the one to try and heal caycay’s heart, mainly either Char, Trey, or.... SURPRISE, IDIA!!! (also i guess i mentioned vil and malleus earlier lol, all these au ideas came over the course of many months so i tended to forget details 😌)
i hear you going “what? huh?? when did idia get here!???!?!?!” shh. shhh. this post required me, forced my hand even, to ramble about all my aus/unposted fanfiction lol. i do have some mini fanfiction about the idia route that never left discord bc it’s so au specific hehehe but anyway, idia right?
ok taking a break from bullets while we detour here. so back when i was looking for names for char, i found another name meaning charming: eppa! it was cute 😌 this part spawned from more discord glitching and my friend’s idea from there- that eppa is just a fake name that IDIA is using to talk to cater on magicam or whatever bc he’s shy and hiding behind a fake prince charming [prince eppa of rsa!!] persona. this could just be a branch on its own w/o those dudes up there^ OR as I mentioned, he could be an alternative person for caycay to end up with after getting his heart broken. I wrote a little bit of unpublished fic and have a few doodles that follow this storyline lol, but we’ll get back to that later maybe.
ok but basically things could end there OR another bonus for MORE soap opera drama: for whatever reason that i never came up with, Dañarte gets KICKED OUT OF RSA!!!! or just transfers for some reason idk.
i debated on having him in scarabia or pomefiore, but ultimately went with scarabia, and here’s why I said he’d probably be a second year lol
because now he’s with kalim and jamil!!! at first kalim’s like “oh!!! a new friend nice to meet you!!!” but then quickly discovers at pop music club that this is in fact the same Dañarte that cater dated and broke his heart!!! oh no!!!
and cater’s like oh god!! my ex goes to school here now!! FUCK!!
but never fear. he claims he’s turned over a new leaf. that he will be civil. he just wants to start over and be a good boy 😌
cater is hesitant, but doesn’t wanna make a fuss. kalim wants to believe in the good in everyone and wants to give him a chance. and JAMIL who is ALSO HERE bc scarabia, does NOT trust this guy and does NOT want to leave him around kalim alone so he’s making an effort to be around the two of them a lot
basically jamil and Dañarte kinda suss each other out pretty fast as being people who hide their true intentions well under a facade of being polite and agreeable. idk if he’d show up pre or post overblot tho
so he spends a loooot of time with kalim and by extension jamil. and he’s also hovering around cater a lot
circling back to the idia thing lol, in some of the little fics i wrote for this au, i had written from i think idia’s pov and it was snippets that were basically:
idia likes cater, azul likes jamil [lol surprise they showed up in this eventually] and theyre board game buddies that kinda poke at each other about it. idia’s talking to cater behind the prince eppa account, and azul’s the only one that knows the secret. idia and cater bond via the account, idia learns more about cater’s melancholic side, they get really close, convince each other to go to class more in solidarity, cater sometimes vents to ‘eppa’ about the problems he’s having with his BOYFRIEND Dañarte... but idia is there to support caycay bc he’s SPECIAL <3 anyway then cater and Dañarte break up, idia and azul bully each other about how they’re afraid of making a move, blah blah blah. eventually cater’s gossiping to idia in class about how azul asked jamil on a date [i made a specific ref to my fic that i DID publish, Fake It Til We Make It 😌 but that’s not importantdsjlfd], the topic of valentine’s day comes up, cater mentions boohoo caycay is single on valentines day again... and idia has worked up the courage to invite cater to ignihyde’s movie night! hooray bonding irl and not behind the eppa mask!!! ohh but then. fast forward a little? cater’s talking to idia, hes like wow u and i have gotten closer lately, can i talk to u about something personal? u see... my ex asked me out. and i said id think about it 😔 cue heartbreak for idia again!! idia goes to board game club SAD. azul is also there and is like “oh sulking solidarity? i gotchu bro. jamil dumped me :’)” and idia’s like uhhhh fuck azul looks like he’s trying not to cry... wanna play VR games so we can escape reality... and they do 😌
^that’s where the written part ended. i have a doodle somewhere of like. even more soap opera drama. like i think Dañarte had asked cater out and cater was gonna give him a chance, but then ohhh noo guess what? cater’s telling pop music club.... and he’s like “ya Dañarte asked me out again-” and kalim FREEZES. hes like WAIT WHAT. WHAT. OH NO. bc uhhh turns out!!! Dañarte also just asked jamil out. WHAT THE!!! and the only reason jamil said YES(OH NO!!!) was bc he was sulking about his break up with azul 😔 a situation of jamil and azul fighting, breaking up, but still really really missing each other wahhhh making bad choicesssss
i dont think i ever went past there LOL but in my head and heart, that specific branch would have to be a happy ending for idia/cater and jamil/azul, Dañarte is simply there to cause problems on purpose
i also had a side reason, like a bonus for Dañarte’s motives (he’s not that deep a character lol this is mostly just goofs and giggles here) hes basically like “grr i resent my cousin so im going to do everything i can to sabotage his happiness. just because i guess. also maybe i should just become famous on the internet MYSELF since i cant be a cool royal, ill just use my title and charisma, and ill steal the fans of popular people like neige and vil - ooh looks like my dumb cousin’s crush is a fan of them both, excellent. hmm so is this rook person what- oh god no he’s weird and scary i’ll stick to terrorizing cater. anyway-” but i kinda didn’t stick with the magicam thing lol. just like a potential extra bit.

‘ I have a scene in my head of pop music club going to do a small performance sometime after dañarte transferred to scarabia , and Kalim is torn bc on one hand he’s the housewarden and must make everyone feel welcome! But I’m the other hand that’s caters mean ex but on the other hand again he seems so nice and apologetic what do I do!! So Kalim ends up coming up to cater right before their performance and is like “ummmmm don’t be mad but I kind of invited dañarte ” and caters like KALIM WHY and kalims like IM SORRY HE SEEMED SO SAD AND REALLY WANTED TO SEE YOU PLAY They’re loudly stressing out off in the corner, meanwhile dañarte is wandering around the audience with Jamil like fellow scarabia buddy I hope u don’t mind if I hang around u Jamils like whatever but we have to sit… waaaaay over here, bc he saw tako and idia and he’s still in his awkward confusing feelings heartbreak stage with azul, And azul+ idia are at the show together just In Distresss'

MLP INFECTION AU
Alright, so starting on the first topic of the MLP infection AU.
its not been scrapped, i can promise that. I'm just currently figuring out the list of characters i wish to use. i originally had a few background characters like Octavia and vinyl scratch that i wanted to use. but, that was Plan A which is well on it's way to being scrapped. I'm more on the lines of thinking of using Plan B which is using OCs. it puts less limits on how i want the character to act vs. how i can make them act. because if i do a canon character i want to make them act correctly.
plus, i have 0 access to anything passing season 4 on MLP:FIM. i quite literally just checked all my streaming services.
but i have 3 OCs ready in case i decide to use Plan B which is most likely what I'll end up using. I'm currently working on character design and then ill figure out what exactly the infection will be. I've been brainstorming a couple of ideas for the infection so.. no worries on that bit i guess.
watch me do all this and end up scrapping this :']

Ive got a few possible projects upcoming.
I have a homestuck comic i want to make with my homestuck oc's but it would in no way EVER fit in canonically. plus ive probably got too many OP species that i wish to use.
on another hand i want to make a pages for diseases i have in my little world ive made. and i want to make a comic about that whole world too {which would likely end up in me mixing my homestuck AU with that to make things more interesting.} but either way id still need to flesh out some characters more and make sure everything makes... some kind of sense.
these are highly unlikely to ever happen because i get severely anxious about posting my works[especially my writing]. but hey if youd like to see any of this or give me some suggestions im willing to listen.
anyways. i think that about covers it all.

bc im so impossibly self-indulgent abt my own writing have this excerpt from my owl house oc's fic (literally the first technical chapter) because i wrote it so goddamn well abt some damn fictional, non-canon ancient family just for background and i love it so much ok bye enjoy its short but i still love it dearly
Thousands of years ago, in the early ages of the Boiling Isles, not long after witches and demons began to settle, there was a young man. This man's first name has since been lost to time, but the surname he proudly wore was Harbane. He was a simple man at first, always being seen with the ancient Harbinger Ravens of old flying close by, usually five or six at one time. The townsfolk in the small Southern Isles village Harbane grew up in feared him, as his talent with ancient Oracle magic was strong. He knew more than everyone, he knew things no other witch or demon would ever know. And because their fear was so strong, no one dared deny his truths. So when an unkindness of Harbinger Ravens rose over the town, they looked to Harbane for answers.
A warring village many miles north of their village was coming to claim control. Harbane had Seen them coming the night before. He woke all the fighters of his village and led them to the entrance to their home, waiting. There was one more talent Harbane had, that he kept solely to himself, for worry that his fellow townsfolk would fear him even more and banish him from his home. No one knows where it came from, what true magic it originated from. But as the waring village approached over the hill and were in sight, Harbane instructed all his home's fighters to cover their ears. He stepped forward five paces, brought in a deep breath, and let out a glass-shattering, eardrum-destroying, deafening scream that obliterated the entire army in front of him. It was hence labeled as the Scream of Cruor. But, despite saving the townsfolk, Harbane was ordered to leave his village, his home.
Several years later, he made a new home, in a long-since-gone town not far away from where present-day Bonesborough lives. This time, he made it known to the townsfolk of the Scream, and of his Oracle talent, and they welcomed him, glad to have such a strong witch in their village to protect them as needed. In exchange for his protecting the town, they offered to carve him a Palisman, noticing he did not yet have one of his own. Harbane naturally accepted, but insisted he carve it on his own. In the days that followed, he carved in the town's Palistrom forest in solitude... aside from an unkindness of Harbinger Ravens sitting in the trees watching him. As such, when his Palisman was finished, and she was cradled in his lap, Harbane had the third and final symbol of his name, of his future generations. Her name changed over the millennia, but at the present she is known simply as Corva.
Throughout the generations, Harbanes were known for those three: strong Oracle magic, the Harbinger Raven Palisman, and the Scream. All three were passed down through their family bloodline. However, not all had all three at one time - in fact it became quite rare. But each holder of the Scream had their own uses for it. Down the line, holders of the Screams found ways to use it with different magic - Construction (deconstructing mostly), Illusion, Beast Keeping. But the most common became Oracle magic, and the two most well-known names of such Scream became known as the Banshee Shriek - its holder a woman with the most unholy of shrieks that could cut down an entire town in an instant, who died almost 900 years ago - and the Death Shout, used by the most recent holder of the Scream, who died nearly 800 years ago. He was able to raise the dead, skeletons and all, with the Death Shout, and he was one of the most formidable, most terrifying witches in history.
No one knows why, between his death and the recent present, no one in the Harbane family had received the talent. It was a mystery they never solved.

An update for Heroes of Flowers since the Tempest of Hearts almost is over
it’ll be awhile... not like 2 months long but like a couple weeks hopefully until the next HOF update (im thinking maybe September?)
And thought I’d share some of what’s coming up and what’ll happen!
If you’d like to prefer being kept in the dark I’ll put it under a “read more” n.n
So Phase 3 (Which will be after the interlude story) will be the end of what I’d call the “main” story of HOF and it takes place during the fugitive arc in the show timeline... tho im not doing the fugitive arc plotline bc Snooze would get conked on the head with a broom by an angry Ari everytime he went into the Lucky Cat and also I’d like to keep my braincells
(Tho Chief Cruz will be a part of Phase 3 even if he isn’t the “big bad”... but like in the “ok grandpa let’s get you back to bed” energy everytime he rants about superheroes and supervillains XD. Not rly but I think you’ll like how I write him)
Phase 3 instead covers an arc I’ve dropped hints of... which I like to call the Galaxian arc since the big bads of that are the Galaxian Pirates, my own little supervillain team. Not stating that my og arc is gonna be better than canon (even if the bar is low) but I hope you guys enjoy (I shall be posting their refs as they show up tho so you’ll like em).
Like I said, not saying im better than canon (which is a loaded subject tbh im not going into that), but I had a fun writing my own little twists to the latter half of Season 2 and I hope you enjoy them!
But there’s an interlude fic before that which’ll be called Heroes of Flowers: Curtain Call and it follows the aftermath of COM and be mostly focused with the Fern fam, with the nerd gang (+ Ari) getting a break in the bg. It’s basically the calm before the storm
It’ll also be the canonical debut of Jackie the emotional support Rabbit, an OC I’ve drawn before but he hasn’t shown up in HOF yet. (A bit of trivia about him tho is he’s based off of a Pokemon character of mine, Jackie the Buneary from one of my stories LPM), this drawing is from the cover of Curtain Call and this is all you’re getting of it for now
(Jackie isnt one of the main characters of HOF but he is one of my favorite side characters to write, his debut sidenote is kind of later in the story, but I hope you’ll enjoy CC! It was fun giving the Ferns the spotlight, something that miiight’ve carried over in FFP because I had way too much fun writing my emotional support found family)
Phase 3′ll be called Fallen From Power and it’ll be posted after Curtain Call but wait there’s more!
I’ll also be posting a side-story called Heroes of Flowers: Karmi’s Spots which will have Karmi having her own adventures outside of SF featuring a lovable spotted family in Camden and two OCs that may or may not be related to some canons.
KS was really self-indulgent/fun, I enjoyed writing all the shenanigans and it’s also a crossover with an underrated TV show I really like. Tho dw I tried my best to be noob friendly (if you haven’t seen the show), but I can always go into details in the ANs, still hope you enjoy it!
there will be some references to Fallen From Power in it, I’ll be sure to mention which chapter the reference is at the start of each chapter if there is a reference so you don’t get spoiled if you haven’t seen said chapter... tho ur free to take the spoilers out of context I’m not one to tell people how to read n.n;
unsure how i’ll update but im thinking of doing an every-other week thing, one week I’ll post for FFP and one week I’ll post for KS!
Anyways hope you guys enjoyed and I hope you’re hyped to see what I have in store. I had a lot of fun writing these 3 future installments and I’m excited to share them with you guys!

ok i have thoughts and i'm gonna fix this for my oc canon bc none of this had to happen. under a cut for boruto episode 246 spoilers.
in general my oc canon sticks decently close to canon with some pretty notable exceptions. though i won't get into most of those here, because this is about kagura.
important things to know going into this, however, that Do make a difference regarding my oc canonverse lore:
Mangetsu is alive. He was forced into hiding following the event that killed Chojuuro's parents many years ago, when they were attacked by some bandits or smth. They'd all already fucked off when Ao happened on the scene, Mangetsu ended up taking the fall for it, and he went into hiding. he came out more when Mei took the hat, working largely in the shadows to keep things more or less sane among the village in the very beginnings of reformation.
Hiroki, my oc, is Chojuuro's personal bodyguard-slash-husband, and a big himbo. He's a member of Kiri ANBU and a former member of the Hunter-nin unit. Between him and Chojuuro, they act as Kagura's adoptive parents, where Mei and Ao (also alive and also did not get recruited into Kara) act as his grandparents.
Hiroki and Chojuuro also adopted Ikada following the previous Funato Incident but i dont have much on this yet until we know what happens with Ikada in canon
to start things off -- Hiroki and Mangetsu were assigned by Chojuuro to accompany the kids on their escort mission. when things escalated, they were told to keep a close eye on the kids.
fast forward to the recent events of the arc -- Kagura is stabbed still, yes. Hiroki, who has medical training from his time in the hunter-nin unit and a strong understanding of anatomy, was able to get Kagura stable enough for Mangetsu and the kids to take him back to the village for proper treatment.
Hiroki, then, goes full feral hog on the Funato grunts. lets loose after the first time in YEARS. during the first Funato Incident five years prior to this, he'd nearly been killed and now has a gnarly scar on his neck from it. so, like a normal and sane person, he starts ripping out throats with his bare teeth.
think, like, full berserker mode. blind rage, no thoughts, chakra tingling in every limb and crackling around him. he uses a chakra nature transformation kekkei touta called storm release, or tempest release, which basically. think like. thunderstorm, storms, tempests, etc etc. that's the ✨vibe✨. it's a combination of water, wind, and lightning -- which is why it's a kekkei touta, not a kekkei genkai, which only combines two natures.
ANYWAY im giving backstory here where it doesn't belong. one of these days i'll unleash the Hiroki backstory arc.
he makes quick work of the grunts, hacking and slashing at them with dual katana, with his own bare fists, with his teeth. slaughters the ones that Mangetsu wasn't able to get to. and when the grunts are all taken care of, and when Hiroki is covered head to toe in blood and viscera and whatever the hell else, he sets his attention to Funamushi.
with Funamushi, he takes his time. goes real slow, makes sure he feels the same pain and agony that Kagura felt. after all, he's a whiz with anatomy -- he knows where he can stab and poke and cut without putting the bastard out of his misery. beats the living daylights out of him till his face is damn near unrecognizable.
and he stabs him, centimeters away from his heart. just out of the way enough that Funamushi's life isn't in immediate danger.
"look at me," Hiroki tells him. does the thing where he lifts Funamushi's chin with the hilt of his sword. "I want you to look in my eyes while I kill you."
and then he rips Funamushi's head from his shoulders.
he carries Funamushi's head back to Chojuuro on the ships, tossing it at his feet. "don't ask questions," Hiroki tells him. "everyone is okay and I'll explain later. The most important thing right now is taking these fuckers down."
long story short, Kagura makes it out okay with a nasty scar to show for it. he retires from shinobi life and resumes his old position as Chojuuro's aide/advisor, remaining in the Mizukage office. when he's been recovered enough that he feels comfortable leaving the village, he and Ikada (and Boruto sometimes) travel around to smaller island nations surrounding Kiri, doing what they can to help keep these tinier nations afloat, no pun intended. When they return for good, Kagura takes up a diplomatic role.
Buntan becomes the Seventh Mizukage after Chojuuro retires and keeps Hebiichigo and Kyohou as her personal guards. Kagura remains an advisor.
Chojuuro and Hiroki don't leave the kid's side while he's in the hospital and Misuno, Chojuuro's aide and other bodyguard, keeps having to play mom to these grown ass adults so they don't literally break down. "neither of you will be useful asleep on your feet. go home. get some rest. i'll keep an eye on him. go home."
they loose a lot of sleep in the weeks following the incident. Kagura ends up with some pretty rough PTSD from the whole situation, Ikada barely made it out without being brainwashed into Funato ways of life, Hiroki had to watch his son nearly die and Chojuuro has to hear about it all after the war is over. Ao and Mei had been away when this all happened and had to hear about it well after the fact when they returned, which was not. fun.

i dunno if ppl on here make dsmp!ocs for themselves outside art but here’s my long list of headcannons?? idk what to call this, but assume all names have c! before it ofc :]
,, this is kinda messy & probably has a lot of plot holes but i just needed a space to write out all my thoughts LOL

character origin :
previous life was the l’mantree :D
allegedly planted by schlatt, we will never know who’s my canonical parent(s)
reborn as a dryad after niki burns the l’mantree
i think being a dryad would fit especially since they’re typically nymphs of oak trees :]
appearance :
my character’s mc skin has long light brown hair & is seen wearing a flower crown with petals that are around the color of a pale violet and navy blue
clothing would consist of black shoes & a long light grey sweater that falls down to the legs and covers most of the hands which adorned with 2 black stripes on the upper arms
lore / history :
since my past life was the l’mantree, i would’ve known the ins and outs of the history when l’manburg was still standing, up until niki burned the tree
after witnessing everything, i’d hold a grudge on niki (+ allies?) and loyal to wilbur since he’s the whole person that made a meaning of the land of l’manburg
however i’d still be on edge w any side because i could sympathize with everyone to some extent after seeing some sort of distress from everyone at some point
i think seeing both sides of the spectrum when l’manburg/manburg still stood could change my perspective of some other characters
but at the same time, not everything was completely centered in l’manburg so i wouldn’t know the whole story of everyone’s character
i’m currently writing this just after tommy has left the prison & mostly everyone is treating him differently, so i’d try to befriend him by not showing that i dont care about his past & trauma but also not being fully faithful about our friendship ahaha,,,
he seems like the type that needs someone to see through his past history but tommy would definitely disapprove of my character visiting dream at the prison (i would do it anyway :))
vowing my current life to wilbur, i would help dream escape to revive wilbur & follow along with their plans of chaos
i don’t fully support dream but he is the only way to wilbur, making me comply with dream’s decisions
“growing up” in my past life and witnessing endless conflict, it is the only thing i know and understand; chaos
but i think during the process of helping dream & wilbur i’d keep my connection with them secret, being the person to obtain all the inside information they need
i could see myself as a type of equilibrium like ranboo but in a bad way, i don’t know how to explain it
but i would try befriending ranboo since he seems like he is involved in many things and would know a lot, despite his short term memory
unfortunately i’m not sure how much his character actually knows since i haven’t been able to watch his pov that much but i’m sure there’s a lot in his memory book...
to blend in as a normal person within the rest of the characters, i’d surround myself with connor a lot
not only because he needs more lore, connor is one of the “normal” citizens of the smp so i believe being with him doesn’t bring as much attention to myself, unlike people that’s related to the egg and their noticeable features after associating themselves with the egg
he is currently only on bad terms with techno which is rly good when comparing that to other characters and their relationships with other people
connor could probably sense my real intentions eventually & tell everyone else that i’m not who i say i am but if that’s my flaw & my downfall is caused by connor, so be it! sorry dream & wilbur
i feel like for being a young dryad, i’d still fool around with dream/wilbur & help give tommy an small “advantage” to defeating the two ?
like yes i’m supposed to be on your side but where’s the fun if tommy can’t do anything to begin with?
i honestly don’t know if wilbur was revived he’d actually be his vassal but let’s assume that happens, but either way i’m with wilbur on his decisions
but ya dream seems like the type to punish me for helping tommy and send me to the afterlife to learn & become smarter like wilbur had done or smth
in the end, i just want to give tommy bits and pieces that tease him from ending all the wars and problems he has been faced with
like here’s some info about dream and wilbur but it won’t be no where close to enough
but who knows, ghostbur said ‘villains are just heroes that aren’t convinced yet’ & maybe tommy could eventually grow on me & change my ways,,
maybe me fooling around & teasing tommy with answers he’s been searching for is a way to mask that i want to be a good person
ok but imagine after knowing so much about dream/wilbur, the revive book, & the afterlife & then i switch sides,,,
surely if tommy can’t put and end to them, dream would make sure i’m gone for good instead
but also if me & connor are in good terms & he’s canonically a necromancer & can bring ppl back to life,,,,
personality :
to all besides dream & wilbur, i’d try to act passive and friendly on the outside to get on everyone’s good side
however under the mask i am more mischievous & strive to cause more problems for everyone on the server from the inside out
in a way, i’ve taken up some of dream’s manipulative personality but still very understanding
i’d like to think of my character as a good listener,, trying to do less talking than others so i do not open up about my true self and intentions
i’ve seen rumors about schlatt & mexican dream also being revived along with wilbur & i feel like i’d have some soft spot for schlatt & pick up a few things from his own character, not sure what though

because of my character’s closed off and quiet personality, i feel like i’d be pretty analytical
i would know how to slip between the cracks with some characters & notice the smallest things to make them question themselves
maybe my character is good at holding their composure, and not that susceptible to being “emotional” in a way so it’s easier to face people
like i understand when a situation is sad, etc but i can’t show emotion towards how i feel about it (i don’t know if that makes sense but ya!)
i wanna try to elaborate more,, like imagine my character before tommy visits the prison, i would be unfazed from when i found out he died to the point he’s released and we find out he’s been revived
everything is a constant blur hehe
i just can’t fully process everything i guess? i dunno if that’s helpful but yeah!
in the end though, my moral compass has been very tainted; despite wanting to show my loyalty, it can be slightly easy to sway me, making me internally feel guilty to other people
but me trying to get on everyone’s good side to impress wilbur/dream to seem useful to them would ruin me before i would even realize that i’m another “pawn”
we know damn well dream is faking it till he “makes it” but yk,,
but i’d be stuck in this kind of dilemma of not knowing what thoughts are my own or just something trickled down from wilbur or dream
there’s like maybe something that clicks in my head like “maybe i wanna think for myself for once” or smth
like who am i really?
powers , bonuses , etc :
since dryads can technically manipulate plants in some ways, theoretically i could control the blood vines to some extent ???
i’m pretty sure dryads can communicate with plants so i could understand what the blood vines are saying as well
maybe i could get a good sense of what the egg is all about and stuff
assuming that i understood anything that was happening with the egg in the first place but anyway—
i guess similar to ranboo like how he can’t really be around water without some type of amour or something, it would make sense for me to primarily reside in a type a forest or be near one ?? who knows
seems a bit morbid in a way because of the whole history but if i can somehow easily get rid of the blood vines without it affecting me (if there is still some there) i think it would be kinda pretty to build a tree base in the middle of the l’manburg crator (iskall tease)
like it can show a sign of some rebirth, not the same government repeated once again but a new era in general
you know how you see like destruction years after it the disaster or smth happened and it gets all overgrown with plants and stuff? ya that’s what i’m going for in my head (mumbo jumbo s7 tease)
i know it’s covered in glass already but i dunno, some broken glass and a giant tree emerging from the whole thing and all the rubble seems cool
i’m not a good builder but i have the vision LMAO
omg puffy is like a sheep human hybrid im pretty sure & like there’s a specific type of dryad that are a protector of sheep & other animals?? i’m not exactly sure but that seems like an interesting element to incorporate somehow
also glatt randomly planting a oak sapling in quackity’s lore stream yes pls feed my nonexistent dsmp character lore /j
i honestly dunno how to incorporate the fact dryads can turn shapeshift into trees when trying to escape something but i read something that if a dryad stays in a tree form for too long they’ll forget who they are and stay stuck as a tree?? which like woah that’s cool & some material but at the same time what—
since everyone’s backstory is kinda a mess, mr beast parent tease bc he planted a bunch of trees /hj
i have realized wilbur saying like “the whole reason i built this nation is gone” & blowing up everything or whatever is kinda a plot hole in like ‘why would i follow wilbur if/when he’s revived when he said this?’ but i’d like to think he was the one that made some meaning of the area lmanburg was on, which includes the lmantree
like he was the one that started everything and created that sentiment of that land, and however he views it now is how i would see it now
he gave meaning to my past life and now in my current life, i feel this obligation to repay him for it
not really lore bc i think it was cc!tommy talking to cc!ranboo about his height & age when he first joined but yk it would funny to make my dsmp character than his just to slightly spite him anyway

i feel like my character would be really into history, like they would have questions about what happened to lmanburg after the last war? what was life like before wilbur? what was the whole history about the antarctic empire? i dunno but reading a bunch of books from a library seems really interesting
oh but in theory, me and tubbo are loosely related if you wanna count schlatt as my “dad” because he supposedly planted the lmantree ???

ten / ( story behind url ): I wanted to try and make an OC only blog that fit the theme of some sort of dark garden. Originally it was going to be “Queen of Gardens-Keep”, but then I got dragged into Dragon Ball and it ended up pretty quickly becoming a multi-muse blog. So I decided to try and change it to something that still fit the theme of a garden bc I.. really like thinking about my muses. Going back to them and seeing if anything new comes up or if there’s a HC that really fits them. Especially in the case of Dragon Ball, the characters have a tendency to appear shallow in canon so there’s a lot to build on to flesh them out as deeper more realistic figures.
Lowkey didn’t think I’d have so many DB muses I’m so sorry XD Idk if/when I’ll stop but I know Im gonna keep adding more muses.

Sotarra has been that muse I’ve had since I was 11 and first got into anime who gradually evolved into what she is today. Her roots are in Naruto and I really wanted to create.. a character who was not me, but what I wanted to be. Powerful, elegant, composed, knew always what to say.
Mirin actually started as a Bleach OC and got left on the backburner for many years before I had an opportunity to flesh her out. I experimented with her on my first tumblr roughly 9ish years ago, which is now long gone thank god, and she interacted with a Vegeta who eventually took her on as a student. It really left a positive impression on me, so I think when I made this blog I thought she would fit right in with the DB verse given the freedom you can have with it. Tbh, I was shocked when how many people said they liked her.
Soju was created as my Xenoverse 2 character. I played the game with a friend and we came up with an entire backstory for her... which just ended up being Mirin getting sick of Broly’s shit and one timeline’s version of her getting strong AF in the time patrol just to kick his ass at a later date. I love her, she’s dead inside, she gives me Mandy from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy every time I write her and I love that.
Goten just kind of happened tbh? Blame Xenoverse and the brief clips in DBZ and DBS where he’s just a fucking bean and being a sweet boy.
Turles was for fun, I wanted to have a villain muse who was just “Man I love being evil bc I can”.
Black, Gogeta, Cumber, and Bura are all thought experiments and “what if” scenarios followed by “well if you think about what they didn’t cover in the show this would be true’s” that got so out of hand that they all eventually just became a muse. Like I said, I really like thinking about the what-ifs and things that the series don’t touch on.
Bardock.. honestly I didn’t see anyone playing him on tumblr and I wanted to change that. Also blame Xenoverse 2 for the gold interactions of him just being an asshole, tsundere, and bad dad. It was an opportunity for fun. Still working out the kinks and intricacies he has, but he’s here!

Soooo I'm officially trying to make this comic I've been planning on for quite some time. Note that this is an OC X Canon ship story :P AND the story basically comes from my imagination from my recent imagination and that from 2018 when I really was into Undertale, of course many things has been forgotten from that time, but that's ok! Most I still remember^^
I'll be trying to make a comic script of it and just think things out, so you'll maybe can enjoy it! Also I need to think more things for the "season" 1 as I feel like it's too short than the second and mayhay third.. yes there's a lot of stuff going on xD especially on "season" 2 there's a lot that'll happen.
So, the characters in this comic will mainly be my OCs and a lot of Undertale characters sksksks the main protagonists we'll be focusing on are Thiara (OC), Gaster and his sons but occasionally some other characters (although not main protagonists), so, yee

A story of two skeletons who had once loved someone, but lost either during a war between humans and monsters or just given up with love. Living in the underground, one with whole family together and the other only their sibling. Finding love at first sight might not be something to be worrying about, sometimes only strong friendship may turn the tables around.

OK! SO! Your fan OCS! Before sending some proper questions, would it be OK if you gave some context as to their existence in relation to liquidstar's cast/narrative? Do they have their own stories within and affected by cannon characters/events/locations, or do they all have their own thing separate from whatever Finns got going on? What are their lives in Anthea? :o
sorry for the late reply (i’ve been busier than i expected and this took hours to type), but thank you SO much!! this is a good question and i really really enjoyed typing up the answer!! :D
they probably haven’t interacted w/ the canon characters. my ocs are going to their own school (or doing their own jobs) far from hecate academy, since HA’s in the central/light province and my ocs live in the fire and wood provinces (specifically on the island where the 2 provinces blend into each other)
i wrote a lot of info on the villages, towns, and cities my ocs live in, which’ll probably give a good idea of what kind of lives they live 🔥🌴 full answer under the cut bc it’s long!
theoretically, they COULD have met or interacted w/ tam (who’s from a village in the fire province called the volcano village), maggie (who took a trip to the fire province when she was like 5 where she met tam) or the fire and wood provinces’ nobility, but tam lived w/ dragons (who are a rare sight) and the nobility are nobility, so idk, the chances are low lol. i’ll talk to finn abt it and get back to you on that!

🔥manok town - it was originally called something else, but after like a hundred years of being called “manok town” more often than its actual name, its actual name was forgotten. (“manok” means “chicken” or “bird” in many se asian austronesian languages, including cham, malay, and tagalog)
it’s a town built near a rainforest-covered inactive volcano called “mount mabye”—“mabye” is kapampangan for “living”/“alive,” referencing “batung mabye,” which is “living stone” in kapampangan; that’s what the mt. pinatubo aetas call real life filipino volcano mt. pinatubo—they say it was once alive
manok town itself isn’t in the rainforest or on the volcano, but, from manok town, it’s a 5 minute walk northeast to get to the entrance of the rainforest of mount mabye
it’s known for almost all its residents owning at least one pet chicken. the most popular breed to have as a pet, by far, is the dong tao chicken, of which is also manok town’s basketball team’s mascot. chicken eggs are its main export, and everyone in town is able to personally profit from their own chicken or chickens’ eggs (although there is a small tax which goes toward supporting the general welfare of the town)
the town traces inheritance matrilineally. trade, distribution and cultivation of land, and general government of the town is primarily maintained by the towns’ families’ family leaders, who govern the town in a group, like a council. family leaders chose their successors; they choose a woman in their family, but if the woman chooses to turn down the family leader position and give it to another person (regardless of gender) in her family, she may. large extended families live in big houses w/ pointed roofs that have at least 10 bedrooms each and also contain a hall for family meetings. in marriages between a man and a woman, a man will usually marry into his wife’s family and usually move into his wife’s family’s house. in marriages of other gender combinations, the couple usually decides which person will move in with their spouse’s family. in a few marriages, regardless of gender, the couple chooses to leave both their families’ houses and live in their own new house together; this is rare, but always an option

it’s a town built on the rainforest-covered inactive volcano, mount mabye (i.e. maybituin is inside the rainforest). you can walk for 30 minutes from manok town and be in maybituin, or drive on a motorcycle at 20 mph on a narrow, designated dirt path in the rainforest (the residents of maybituin cut away just enough foliage to not endanger motorcyclists) for 5 minutes. since it’s high up and has very little air pollution relative to some nearby cities, it’s possible to see stars well here. mangoes from maybituin set the world record for the sweetest mangoes in all of anthea! their basketball team’s mascot is a mango. ube is from here.

🔥amugud village - “amugud” means “mountain” in northern aeta languages
a secluded village way further inside the rainforest and way further up mount mabye than maybituin; it’s a 3 hour trip on foot from maybituin (there are no roads to it, so if you want to enter or leave it, you must hike up the rainforest-covered volcano on foot). sampa and sampa’s mother grew up here, but sampa’s father is from manok town. sampa’s mother and father currently live here, and sampa visits her family here at least once a month

🔥jaai city - “jaai” is iu mien for “street”/“market”
from manok town, it’s a 20 min walk southwest to get to jaai city, or less than 3 mins on motorcycle. it’s a coastal city, and its beaches have very clear water (if you stuck your hand in the water, you could see it as clearly as if you stuck it in clean tap water at home) and very fine sand. they maintain the cleanliness of the water and beaches by paying beach clean up teams to remove litter daily and even limiting tourism if having so many ppl packing the place starts making it too hard to monitor and maintain the well-being of the ecosystem
jaai city is also known for having wide streets packed with motorcyclists driving in the center and lined with street food vendors on both sides; many residents who live near these streets eat almost nothing but food from these street vendors…that is Not an exaggeration; based on the street food scene in thailand, many homes in jaai city on or near these streets don’t have any kitchens
the street food comes in bags that look like plastic, but are biodegradable! they’re actually made of cassava! they dissolve when fully submerged in water, but are resistant enough to lighter water exposure, such as rain. these bags exist in places such as thailand and indonesia in real life, but their anthea equivalent are made by nature wizards in jaai city and manok town (who usually just make them in the comfort of their homes) and are then shipped (or flown, by sky wizards) to any street vendors who ordered them
the actual buildings the street vendors set up carts and stands in front of on these streets are 30% potion shops; anitun tabu academy (ATA) is located in jaai city, and, though they offer many other programs, their program for potion wizards is the one most of their students come to the school for, w/ their program for nature wizards coming in second, their program for culinary wizards coming in third, and their program for tech wizards coming in fourth (other popular programs are the ones for sky wizards, water wizards, fire wizards, and drawing wizards)
all 12 of the kids in this first batch of anthea ocs are students at ATA, and sampa eventually becomes a science teacher there. ela and khun often chaperone at field trips and school dances
the drawing wizards and culinary wizards at ATA have a rivalry w/ the music wizards at yan po nagar academy (YPNA), a school in far away mi’ein city, which is on the wood province side of the island. the other students at these respective schools aren’t nearly as competitive/don’t perceive the other school as a rival and have no idea what the art kids’ deal is
jaai city also has floating markets in the city’s river, complete w/ farmers selling produce, chefs selling street food, and potion wizards selling potions! there are also ppl who sell slippers made out of reused tires, ppl who sell clothing, ppl who sell drawings and paintings, ppl who sell furniture (like khun lol), and so on
as if this city wasn’t already known for enough cool stuff, they’re also known for their rocket festivals (based on lao rocket festivals), where ppl, esp. (but not limited to) tech wizards and fire wizards, competitively fire home-made rockets, and their boat racing festival (based on cambodian bon om tuuk) where ppl competitively race boats, play carnival-like games, and eat street food, esp. ak ambok
their football/soccer team’s mascot is a nam khao rice ball, their basketball team’s mascot is a boat, their volleyball team’s mascot is a bang fai rocket, and their water polo team’s mascot is a naga

🌴mi’ein city - ”မီးအိမ်” (“mi’ein”) means “lantern” in burmese
driving from jaai city, it’s 15 hours away by motorcycle. it’s a city surrounded by dense rainforest, which historically acted as a natural barrier that was difficult for enemies to cross, but today just looks cool, keeps the city’s air clean, and provides residents w/ fruit! residents sometimes choose not to build buildings upwards, but horizontally instead, so houses and schools are often very long buildings (based on jarai longhouses). you can find lanterns on every street, and whether you’re in a bougie area or a middle class or working class area will be apparent based on whether the lanterns are made of silk or not
as it’d be a fire hazard in a city full of paper and silk lanterns, most buildings are modeled after traditional styles but made out of reinforced concrete (or sometimes clay in middle or working class areas) and/or steel instead of bamboo or wood
mi’ein city’s biggest thing it’s known for is its lantern festival, where everyone in the city is encouraged to try making their own lanterns; there are multiple guided workshops throughout the day! the lanterns aren’t made with metal frames; the frames are made of biodegradable material, often bamboo or wood. most ppl making their lanterns by hand will then cover the frames in paper, but some of the residents from upper class parts of the city will opt to cover them in silk. the types of lanterns made include (but are not limited to) lanterns in round, balloon, or teardrop shapes w/ tassels below the light (based on vietnamese lanterns), star-shaped lanterns based on filipino paról, long, rectangular lanterns based on boracay lanterns, and sky lanterns based on thai khom loi. you can also buy food at stands, and mi’ein city is especially known for its gaeng om!
sometime after night falls, every lantern is lit up at the same time by fire wizards and light wizards all over the city. once the lanterns are lit, competitions (such as a robe-weaving competition), traditional dances (imagine how cool a traditional dance can look when the performers have light magic 🤩), and other live performances, such as musical performances and traditional theatre performances (esp. opera, such as cải lương) begin!
mi’ein city, both during the lantern festival and otherwise, is also known for its live music, played by musicians on instruments they’ve brought from all over the wood and fire provinces. string sections include the saung, đàn gáo, k’ni, migyaung and chakhe/krapeu, and kecapi, percussion sections include the pattala, pat waing drum circles, and gamelan ensembles, and wind sections include the khaen, hne, qeej, and suling
similar to valentine’s day, on the day of the lantern festival, many residents will confess or ask another resident on a date before nightfall and then, if the person they asks says yes, make lanterns with the person, dine, play carnival games, and watch performances with them during the date. there are also many people who want to get their mind off of a breakup or rejection that happened in the morning who use the rest of the festival day (making lanterns, playing games, etc.) to do something hands-on to get their mind off of their sadness (it’s considered polite to ask people out or break up w/ others only in the morning, so that the other person doesn’t get sad or put in an awkward position in public or in the middle of trying to enjoy the festivities)
w/ regards to romantic confessions 💌, many raj or ncas players will play their instrument to confess to another raj or ncas player (yes, these are hmong-coded people! pretty epic that the hmong language is so heavily reliant on tones, more so than consonants and vowels, that even w/out spoken consonants and vowels, hmong speakers will be able to get coherent sentences out of listening to musical notes)
yan po nagar academy (or YPNA) is located here, and it’s a very long building based on a jarai longhouse. the most popular programs offered are its programs for light wizards, fire wizards, concrete wizards, metal wizards, earth wizards, music wizards, nature wizards, and weather wizards. it’s not a boarding school. ram, khe, and sajang all were supposed to go here, but each have personal reasons for ending up at ATA instead
mi’ein city’s football/soccer team’s mascot is a lantern, their basketball team’s mascot is a longhouse, their volleyball team’s mascot is a (viet) dragon, and their water polo team’s mascot is a migyaung
ram grew up in a high class neighborhood in the center of mi’ein, while khe and sajang are from a middle class/working class neighborhood in the outskirts of the city, near the rainforest. their neighborhoods are only 10-20 mins on motorcycle away from each other. to clarify, the neighborhoods are divided based on class, not ethnicity…i’m not trying to make se-asian-on-other-se-asian coded xenophobia exist in anthea

OK OK so like we’re extremely off our shits rn but lets try to make this coherent
edit: this actually turned into a fucking wall of infodump bullshit so adding a cut lol
1970s. a gay furry dad named henry emily decides to make a furry restaurant cause he’s passionate abt animatronics and making kids happy. he opens the restaurant with a man named william afton as his business partner. henry makes animatronics and william handles idk being fucking creepy and handling money is my best guess. the restaurant is called Fredbear’s Family Diner, featuring Fredbear and Spring Bonnie (after a year or two it becomes popular enough for henry to have money to build bonnie, freddy, chica, and foxy too!)
ok so shits fine and normal until william billiam is like ‘hmm im gonna be a child predator now’
on a rainy night one of henry’s children, Charlie Emily, is locked outside the pizzeria somehow, where william finds and kills them. the security marionette that henry built to protect his kids drags itself outside to their body, and thus is possessed by their spirit
obviously henry is fucked up but no one knew who the killer was, so henry was able to reopen another location, this time under the new name of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, with the now familiar friends Bonnie, Freddy, Foxy, and Chica to join the original two! multiple locations are eventually opened, and things are going just fucking fine until WILLY billy does his bullshit again!!
this time he lures them into the back by wearing a Spring Bonnie suit, and kills four children and stuffs their bodies into Bonnie, FReddy, Foxy, and Chica, where Marionette (charlie) finds them and binds their souls to the animatronics
but even though willish addon was employed at the very location he killed kids at, AND he was even convicted as the killer, since police couldnt find the bodies (and are useless) he didnt go to jail which is honestly so accurate its the scariest part of the franchise
so like henry at this point i imagine is like “fuck this” and sells the restaurant line to—you know what? honestly? i would love to know who runs Fazbear Entertainment. with the way help wanted was going i rlly hope we get an expansion on that with them as the villians (destroy capitalism) ANYWAY–
“Fazbear Entertainment” becomes the parent company of this mess now and theyre like :)……oh lets hire that william guy again hes fine
and at this point wwillus is making his OWN fucking pizzeria and his OWN animatronics and is actively kidnapping, torturing, and killing children to steal life essence from their souls! during the process of testing this, he gets his own ‘daughter’ Elizabeth Afton killed!! yeah im not fucking making this up!! (ppl in the fandom really defend this guy lol)
1983. so as Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzas are expanding, Willard Afturd somehow? got himself some children. like to raise. like as a “““father”““. personally i do like 2 think a mother was involved but honestly he totally coulda just fucking kidnapped some random children to raise as his own and im starting to think thats more plausible actually BUT ITS NOT GAME THEORY TIIME
one of these kids he is personally torturing! his own “son”! incredible! long story short this traumatized child ( unofficially named CC Afton ) is forced into the mouth of Fredbear by his brother Michael Afton and his friends, aaaand he dies ( and is guided by Charlie to possess Fredbear )
even after years of rumors about dead kids being hidden in animatronics, its this accident is the last straw for Fazbear’s Pizza and they are finally shut down. then WILL rubs his nasty hands together and tries to open his OWN pizzeria with his original OCs do not Steal™, Funtime Freddy, Bon Bon, Ballora, Circus Baby ( possessed by Elizabeth) , and Funtime Foxy and theyre all. probably possessedtoo cause theyre used 4 his kid torture fetish
uh ok so Aphton is like hey michael go clean up my child abuse for me anyway brb so his son Mwanders into his father’s Pizzeria to find his sister elizabeth . long story short…………he finds her and she does the “we’re brothers but closer” spongebob meme but also with her friends
ANd they leave! hooray! from then on the story is about Michael, whos zombified now after being used as a husk to hide an amalgamation of 5 animatronics fucking trying to find his shitty fuckass dad, and to help the anguished and vengeful spirits inside
but the first location to reopen after having been shut down, Wilson AAAAA is employed AND KILLS SOME MORE KIDS who would have guessed omg amazing..stunning.. and michael is employed there JUST a week too late like it happens RIGHT before he’s employed so Wumbo Man gets away again and Fazbear Entertainment gets shut down AGAIN, in 1987

but then for some reason Whenwillhedie Afton is like im gonna go try to dismantle the other haunted animatronics at the shut down pizzerias cause i dont actually even know i have shit for brains and also probably wanted to melt them down for life juice BUT
theyrelike FUCK OFF and the spirits of the children materialize in front of Wellington Well Done and force him into the old crusty spring bonnie suit that he’d murdured in before nd spring is like FUCKy ou and crushesAlton with their animatronic parts aand smush him. trapped now #springbonnieisgoodguy
the spirits go to rest in animatronica, the events of fnafworld happen when: 30 fucing years later in like the 2010s some jackasses thought it would be a good idea to mak e a haunted hoiuse attraction based on fazbear’s pizza and use actual shit from the restaurants and of COURSE this fuck shit up hardcore and disturbs the spirits from the rest that they were in ( until it turned intp the events of FNAF World ) and then they were ripped back into reality when Fazbear’s Fright was built
also! they found WWWacky smacky Acky all rotting away inside Spring Bonnie (now called Springtrap) and were like yeah this is good. definitely not a robot struggling to hold back the influence of a murderer predator and definitely wouldnt haev a problem with being set free
basically michael hears about this thing when it opens and is the first employee there and proceeeds to burn the whole place down as soon as he sees Willmont stuck inside ofs Springtrap
buuuut it doesnt work and Springtrap and other various spirits and haunted robots are still wandering the fuck around and Henry at this point is like Okay I Need To Do Something About This Cause This Is Entirely Out Of Fucking Hand and he reopens a Freddy Fazbear’s location himself, but advertises for a manager who wants to build their own pizzeria

spring bonnie, now called Glitchtrap, is in a deteriorated mental state and is weak to Afton’s influence, and the fuck is able to manipulate an unknown amount of people into helping him out of the VR game and into the in-universe real world. one of these people was jeremy fitzgerald, michael afton’s childhood friend and a former employee at Fazbear’s Pizza during 1987.
he was involved in a lawsuit against the company making the game, and we don’t know what has happened to him yet. but he’s very important. evidence points to him being one of the kids that helped michael put CC’s head into Fredbear’s mouth, and that in 1987 when working at freddys he was bitten and is somehow functioning without a frontal lobe (but like, michael at this point is functioning with insides made of pudding and rotting skin so . basically theyre both too gay to die )
but we DO know that theres at least one person communicating directly with Glitchtrap, who he seems to have convinced to help set him free, someone whos made their own rabbit mask but doesnt seem to be willingly doing this, and might be brainwashed
also, currently, (this is really weird because we are currently living in the same time as the fnaf timeline is at right now) Fazbear Entertainment is planning on a “service program” that is basically sending personal animatronics to peoples houses and GUESS how fucking well THAT works out bc theyre STILL ALL HAUNTED YOuf g
and it seems like theyre planning on opening a new location in 2020, and that might be when we can learn more about the reluctant follower of springtrap and who has the camera while everyone moshes on william aftons corpse

Yexia: ….honestly it’s easier to answer what doesn’t make her angry OK actually, it’s very much shaped by the friends and relationships she makes along the way. Which means she gets angry at alien discrimination, she gets angry when her friends are threatened. (and on a very basic, the easiest way to get under her skin is to suggest she’s inferior in some way)
Ziseshis: Slavers are definitely top of list. And then…he actually also has a lot of anger. Being talked down to, being pitied, being questioned…
Idal’ia: Seeing innocent people get hurt
Akahana: Not being taken seriously because of how “innocent” she looks or because she has a “carefree” attitude
Chivan: Not being the center of attention, being looked over, when people don’t automatically do as she says or counter her ideas

23: Whats your OCs biggest secret?
Linalae: She’s loyal to the Empire and will do her best to serve Imperial Intelligence … but she’s not naive. She knows the risk of having cybernetics, she knows they’d likely be used to watch her, record her actions, or more. And she happens to be skilled at tinkering with tech, and if some adjustments were made that make it a little harder to actually monitor her, she also knows how to cover up the fact that there are protections in place herself from constant monitoring.
Yexia: my god is it even possible for the girl who yells every thought she has even have secrets. 😂 she’s pretty. upfront with everything. I guess the one thing i can think of (that eventually stops being a secret … also is a poorly kept secret) is how there is a softie deep down in there. She didn’t always want to hurt everyone, she didn’t always like seeing people get hurt, until she was rewarded for it, until it became a way to prove herself and be better. And because it was drilled into her that showing mercy, caring for others, that’s all weakness, she really tries to act like she is just angry all the time and doesn’t want to protect people.
Ziseshis: all that bluster about not having any fear, about being the best, all that confidence? Yeah that’s all a huge lie. He’s just hoping if he keeps lying about never being afraid, one day, eventually, it’ll have to be true right? (never mind the shaking hands or the way his heart beats like it’ll break his ribs, one day lying about how calm he is will work)
Idal’ia: she’s a pretty open book too, but she also doesn’t talk about her past a lot. mainly because, it wasn’t that glamorous, she certainly used to roll with a …rough… crowd and did things she isn’t proud of. but she’s pretty zen about her life (got that wisdom that comes with age)
Akahana: That she doesn’t think the dark side is as bad as the council makes it out to be. She doesn’t think all Sith are necessarily evil, even as she does try to bring peace to the galaxy. Her approach will always be to reach out first, and to always try to make friends, even when she’s supposed to see them as just the enemy, as opposite to her.
Chivan: Her secret is that she plays the part of the selfless hero very well, but she very selfishly wants to be the her. Her image is carefully crafted to be the all important hero, because she wants to be the all important hero, the chosen one, she wants to be admired and lauded. Not very Jedi-like so … she just pretends to be sweet and selfless, and hides all her less than pretty thoughts.
Essara: How tired she is. How much she would love to put her blaster down and never see another fight again. But everyone is counting on her to be the leader, and to be confident, and to not show how much of a burden this all is, how much everything weighs on her. But she is so very, very tired.
Riye: that he’s force sensitive! it’s not really a secret out of anything more than, he doesn’t like Talking About It so he keeps that part of his past (and that he was once in training to be a Jedi) secret, and has decided not to use any force powers
Kiri: probably obvious but she can’t go back to the ascendancy for some reason. She usually just tells people she was bored and not living the life of luxury she wanted so took it into her own hands to get the life she wanted.
27: What languages does your OC speak?
(gonna say they all speak basic of course :’D also full disclosure i had to like, google, Star Wars languages for this so hopefully i get stuff right ;;v;; but i might mention some accents bc i like that kinda thing )
Linalae: She knows a lot of basics for many languages, and if she ever needs a boost uses her cybernetics to get help.
Yexia: Sith, naturally :’) (the way she speaks either basic or Sith is definitely the equivalent of the stereotypical “delinquent” accent (HAH?!) )
Ziseshis: just basic; any Cheunh he once knew was forgotten save for maybe a word here or there (does sarcasm count as a language because that)
Idal’ia: Togruti, limited Mando’a, and a little Jawaese, and has the equivalent slight country/Southern twang to her voice
Akahana: Togruti, and she has the equivalent of Appalachian accent
Chivan: Catharese, she speaks with noble airs/an affected accent

40: What is the craziest thing your OC has done?

Linalae: This just has to go to the whole mission on Quesh to undo the Castellan Restraints :’))
Yexia: When she throws herself between an enemy and Azhiera and loses an arm in the process, because she knows doing anything else would risk Azhiera getting too seriously hurt, the quickest and easiest way to ensure Azhiera is uninsured is to put herself between Azhiera and the enemy, and then whoops her arm is gone and she calls upon everything she has and surrounds the two of them flames until it’s just them left (and promptly collapses because like, blood loss)
Ziseshis: he doesn’t do many non crazy things arguably (should it be marrying the dashade lmao) uhhhh actually it’s probably just, challenging anyone and everyone when he’s running on barely anything but fear (another contender is just, in my canon, once expansions start he’s gonna end up basically willingly leaving the dark council and position of power because, why not ?? there is some more to it but x); )
Idal’ia: She’s gone along on at least one undercover mission with Alunera and while not blowing her agent’s cover, certainly is not above teasing her along the way
Akahana: this is always escalating as she continues to (literally) throw her entire 5’0” self at bigger and stronger enemies every day
Chivan: doing crazy things is not really her style :’)) she likes calculating and planning
Essara: in her early days as just a grunt she was the one who was always rushing to the front line, and particularly was willing to throw herself between any unfortunate child and danger
Riye: at some point he has definitely made an escape from a situation gone south in minimal clothes
Kiri: It involved a lot of explosives

The escape, while not as difficult as many others he had gone through before — ones that involved a lot more flashing lights, sirens, and a large number of firefights — wasn't exactly smooth. At this point, the original plan, which consisted of straight-up running out of the front door would probably be easier than trying to "sneak" back upstairs and get out the same way he'd come in, especially thanks to the clunky wooden figure he was carrying around.
Their best option now was trying to get out in the courtyard and wait around until things calmed down a little. Maybe the boys could even play it off as a prank or something similar, not that it would end up too good for them (it wouldn't matter if they were sneaking out soon, anyway). Couldn't loiter around for too long, lest the staff called the police, but they would have some time to decide on a decent escape route.
Luckily, the chapel was at a pretty central location, on the first floor. To get out, they had just to run a few hundred meters towards the back of the building.
He got the boys' attention with a wave from behind the cover of the arched chapel door, "If you don't wanna get caught, we have to run, now, before anyone gets here".
Obviously, both agreed, getting ready to sprint at a moment's notice. "Get to the yard, try to hide, ok? Go." They ran, and for once, it seemed like luck was on their side, as no one had enough time to get down from the rooms to check the room out.
That is if one certain nun wasn't still close by and hadn't had the brains to check out the place where the kids normally ran to first. She managed to catch a fleeting glimpse at Sully's retreating back as he made a mad dash across the courtyard. And then, the next moment, he was gone. The kids weren't so lucky, though, being caught in the act.
He hoped they managed to hold the fort for a few days, just until he could work his way back into the orphanage and pick them up.

Victor had hoped to get the artifact to the client in the couple of days he had before he could even attempt to retrieve the Morgans. That turned out to be impossible, as the client decided to move elsewhere while waiting for him to get it and was now a few states over. If he wanted to get rid of the thing and receive the money — the client stipulated he wouldn't take his word or even a picture as a guarantee, and he'd only get paid once the saint was safely transported to his location, with a deadline of two weeks, max — he wasn't sure if he'd make it back in two days. Considering what had happened back at the orphanage, he didn't want to risk more time than that.
Of course, he could always just… leave the kids where they were and spare himself from the trouble. There was always the risk that the kids would want revenge or something in the near future if they actually ended up following that path. Who was he kidding, of course, they would. They were already on their way to becoming tiny thieves and conmen. And as much as he denied it, he saw potential in those two, something that would definitely be stifled if they stayed where they were.
At the same time, that wouldn't matter if they didn't have anyone to at least watch out for them. Admittedly, the brothers had grown on him, both of them , never mind how annoying Samuel could be. And that made him somewhat hesitant to help them out, only for them to get sucked in whatever madness this lifestyle brought.
And they were still children, for fuck's sake. Actual school-aged children. They didn't have a clue of what would happen if they went through with this, hell neither of them should be making this kind of life-altering decision before they were at least both in their teens.
God, he shouldn't even have started this particular mess in the first place, but now, he felt guilty for letting them get caught. That was the absolute worst thing he could probably feel about the whole thing, as it compelled him to actually go through that stupid idea, otherwise, he'd lose any bit of trust he managed to get from the boys.
Why had he decided to overcomplicate this in the first place?
Thanks to all that dilemma, he ended up with two idle days. Of course, he had things to do. Getting everything ready to hightailing out of there as soon as he got the Morgans, devising a way to get them out, et cetera.
Never really showing any concern, after all these kids weren't his, he didn't think they'd want anything with him after fulfilling his part of the bargain. And that he would do, no strings attached.

Two days later and Victor was right back where he started. Well, not exactly, since this time he was creeping into the orphanage at fuck-all in the morning, hoping not to be seen. He had considered trying to push the "adoption" thing a little further, see if he could get out with less fuss, but that nun had seen him the other day, even if just a glimpse. He couldn't risk it.
So, "kidnapping" it was.
Probably a horrible idea after all the shit he'd already pulled this time, but a deal was a deal. Luckily, he had a good idea where the Morgans' room was, thanks to Nate pointing it out a few times the last few days. He still wasn't sure what the kid wanted with that, but he would look a gift horse in the mouth.
Now, unluckily, their room was most likely shared with other boys. It was an orphanage, after all, they didn't have that much space in the end. They better not be all cooped there, unless they expected him to actually leave 'em behind. But, they knew better, he was pretty sure.
Not exactly reassuring, but it was good enough for him at the moment.
He expected to find them on a roof adjacent to their room, at best, but they were a little bit farther, huddled in an unassuming rooftop that was almost directly in the field of vision for someone looking from the original roof. Probably not as easily seen from inside the dorm.
They looked all ready to go, carrying small drawstring bags which most likely contained all of their belongings. He had known they were eager to leave, but really wasn't expecting this kind of readiness. Weren't children supposed to be a little bit messy and-slash-or careless?
At least they wouldn't have to go back in to get their stuff, so there wouldn't be anyone to tattle them out or any staff to stop them. Something was feeling off, though.
He brushed it off as paranoia or some shit and went ahead to talk to the boys.

Sully landed lightly behind the brothers, seeing they didn't even react, too busy with some kind of heated, whisper-screamed discussion. It was weird, the way they were acting right now.
"C'mon, we have to be ready to just… go by ourselves! You know what happens if we stay here 'till tomorrow morning", Samuel jabbed a finger at his brother, accusing. He was sitting with his arms crossed, tense and looking like he was about to explode at any moment.
"Yeah, but it's not gonna happen, plan is we leave before that!", Nate reasoned, looking… wounded, for some reason?
"Sure, but we have to be ready for the worst case. We don't even know if we can actually trust–"
Nathan swiftly cut him off, "Hey, stop it! He wouldn't lie like that!"
"Except he already did that before! Don't you remember??", he exclaimed, looking agitated. "He fooled everyone right from the beginning and only let us in on the secret 'cause we were useful at the time! Why would this be any different??"
"Well, uh… I just know it, okay!" at that, Samuel just scoffed. Worse, the (younger) kid was starting to sound angry as well, maybe he should intervene?
Trying to actually make his presence known this time, Sully did his best impression of a yeah-I-just-got-here thump. Thankfully, that got the brothers' attention, with varied responses from each of them. As in, Samuel turned right back around, muttering something like "took you long enough", while Nathan seemed to be a mixture of happy slash relieved. Both looked kind of relieved, actually. He guessed that particular reaction had something to do with whatever was the thing that would happen if they stayed in the orphanage until the next day–
"You actually came!", exclaimed Nate, taking a running start towards him. Okay, maybe he got it wrong and the kid was planning on trying to deck him. Stranger things have happened before.
Oh.
Um, the kid was actually hugging him. Because that was apparently a thing now? Not that it was too bad, wasn't as weird as he expected. It was still a bit awkward, with his brother watching them like a hawk from the corner of his eye.
"Why wouldn't I, kid?", he couldn't do much more than pat him on the back stiffly, mercifully being released at that point.
"Well, I never thought that. It's just Sam that's a coward".
"Not like I wasn't allowed to worry! What if Victor decided he didn't wanna take us anymore?" God forbid the boy knew how close he had been to actually doing that. " And we have to go tonight. Right now would be great, actually".
"What's with the urgency?", he was genuinely curious about that one. He had (accidentally) eavesdropped on them before, but neither had mentioned what was making them so nervous to leave.
"None of your business–"
"They wanna send us to different orphanages! Away from each other".
The answers had overlapped, but the message was still clear. That was… bad.
Samuel sent a nasty glare in his brother's general direction, but he just kept going. "It's because we got caught. We knew it could happen–"
"Not really", piped Samuel, who was largely ignored for stating the obvious.
"With that, I guess there was finally some proof that we were the ones messing everything up".
"And it was enough to convince the entire staff that you should get separated and sent away?"
Sure, helping a lying conman to steal something from right under their noses was bad, but shouldn't get them punished like that, right? It was extreme, to say the least.
"Well, only Father Duffy was against it, he didn't want to give up on us or something. He's one of the good ones" Nate added as an afterthought.
"Still, he was outnumbered, so what good did it do?", challenged the eldest Morgan, still perched away like some kind of evil harpy.
That explains why they were ready like this when he got there. They were leaving for somewhere, like it or not.
"Well, good thing you can leave right now, then. Let's go" and, after waiting for Samuel for a moment too long "You plan on staying there by yourself then?"
That sure spurred him into action, at least. If they wanted to get away somewhat unnoticed, they all needed to get going, or else it would be too light out. At least they wouldn't need to run/hop all the way to his rented room, he had gotten a car for them parked nearby, assuming it would be easier and less conspicuous that way.

The ride back was silent. Be it tiredness or the fact they just didn't really see eye to eye, they didn't see the need for it at the moment. In the backseat, Nate was almost nodding off, his brother looking like he wanted to follow suit, but still keeping himself upright by sheer force of will. Samuel was the one that began speaking towards the end of the route.
"Where are we going?", from the rearview mirror, he saw the kid was letting his brother rest his head on one of his shoulders.
"To my apartment", he said nonchalantly, keeping an eye on Samuel's reaction through the rearview mirror.
"You were supposed to drop us off, remember?", he narrowed his eyes suspiciously.
"Sure, but I don't think you want to be dropped off on the middle of the road in the middle of the night, do you?", the kid considered that, looking ashamed that he was agreeing with something that Sully had said. "And anyway, there's been a small change of plans, I'll explain when we're all inside".
"It better be a great explanation, old man". Fair.
"You bet it is, kid".

I JUST..... I JUST REALLY MISS MY OLD DIGIMON OC......
I don’t even know if anyone here would recognize her at all (other than maybe a certain Kari!) bUT..... well, this was actually my old Digimon OC, Hikaru! Many years back, I had one of those Digimon “FDD” (Fictional Digidestined & Digimon!) websites, and it was young me’s pride and joy, my first website that I made all on my own ;3;/ ;3;/ Complete with low quality graphics, comic sans ms, script based roleplays, and Digimon and anime midis galore! (A-ahaha.)
Although, back then I had pretty much zero ability when it came to actual art (I was always more of a writer, orz) and so her look ended up being basically “inspired” (read as: ripoff) of adult!Hikari but with a teenager look, and the story took a huuuge amount of “inspiration” (read as: tropes) from Sailor Moon too (also The Legend of Zelda), a-ahaha. OTL.
Her Digimon (twin Digimon ala Wallace’s) were also obviously Chibimon/DemiVeemon recolors (DemiSilveemon and DemiGoldveemon, respectively. I didn’t even have to create an evolution for DemiGoldveemon because he’d basically become Goldveedramon, an actual Digimon!, while “Silveemon” became “Silveedramon”, a-ahaha. So original, I know.)
Regardless, they still have a very special place in my heart and I wish I had the energy to do a complete overhaul of her story nowadays (and actually finish it - I only ever managed to write through the second story arc out of like... eight-nine which was also to have a huge sprawling amount of story arcs after, which I had detailed in extremely lengthy “spoiler” summaries back then pffft - also, it was all to eventually tie into a story arc covering the epilogue and extending the story of that.) Unfortunately, my drive to do so has kind of dried up o-orz...
B-But now that I’m much older, I’m kinda sorta thinking about redesigning her at the least?? I’m super into Japanese fashion now (!!) and would really love to give her a redesign with like.... a very pretty classic styled one-piece, long A-line dress with a petticoat, maybe in a dusty pink color, with cute ruffles and embroidery, white sleeve cuffs?? and probably either neckties and/or (detachable, for look variety!) long sleeves. MAYBE SHE’D EVEN HAVE HER OWN HUGE WARDROBE OF VARIOUS ADORABLE DRESSES ALA CARDCAPTOR SAKURA/CLAMP it’s a nice thought anyway to at least redesign her main outfit in mind, even if I can’t create art for it, aha...!! ;3;/
(ALSO would change her hair color so it’d be less like Hikari’s [which was intended at the time for story purposes/tropes/etc.], though it was still a slightly darker brown - it’d probably be a bit more wavier/curlier too, and something like an even darker brown [deep brown?? nOT JUST BC OF MY OWN HAIR A-AHA....] (possibly also with bits of red through it!!)... at the time she was also created with no set eye color aside from (a darker) blue in mind; maaaybe she could have something like hazel eyes now? which could probably make up for that with the “color changing” hA ALSO SHE WAS MIXED/MULTIRACIAL/MULTIETHNIC ASIAN/JAPANESE-AMERICAN [+OTHERS] SO THERE WAS THAT YEAH!!)
Her Crest was actually the Crest of Faith, since I figured Jou’s Japanese crest’s name could also translate to “Honesty” (maybe even remain “Reliability” still, idek, which I thought was still perfect for Jou) and ‘Faith’ as a trait just held a very personal meaning to young me at the time ;3;/ (Basically never giving up, believing in yourself, etc.!! SHOUNEN/SHOUJO MOTIVATION) Though the image here didn’t quite portray the crest as I would have liked, I did want the imagery to involve a stylized crescent moon symbol and a star (probably now with it hanging outside of the moon somewhere though, not inside....), and the color to be dark pink (which would have also been the color of her D3) [it also had gold and silver buttons because of the two Digimon].
It’d be nice to try and re-design that too somehow ;3;/
All of the art here (sans #4, edited by young me a-aha) was made by request, and I’m to this day, forever grateful to the artists: Skye G. (#1 and the adorable emote!), Kari Avalon (#2), Tiara/Chiara (#3), Alana D. (#5-6), and Jennifer M. (#7)!! If any of you somehow happen to read this, thank you so much again (and for putting up with young me, o-orz)!!

Anyhow, a lot more rambling under the cut!
So yes, her story did lift a HUGE amount of “inspiration”/tropes from Sailor Moon, complete with the typical “Digimon Princess” theme and everything o-OTL. HOWEVER the more lengthier, sprawling story also had story arcs and tropes I still would have loved to explore in more detail - the 02 kids each had their own story arc where they’d receive their own personalized Crest traits (Iori’s was Wisdom, I can’t quite remember Miyako’s atm orz but she had one too [EDIT: MIYAKO was Loyalty, Iori’s was Wisdom!! Loyalty would fit Iori too maybe though aha?]; and of course, Daisuke got Miracles!) and their Digimon would all get to evolve into their own evolutionary lines.
The Adventure Chosen would eventually have their own arcs too; involving “Negative Crests”, evil clones, and actually the main villain of the entire fic was Alphamon - who wasn’t even featured in the main canon materials much at the time! (SO YOU CAN IMAGINE HOW MUCH I FLIPPED OUT WHEN HE WAS REVEALED AS THE MAIN VILLAIN FOR TRI, A-AHAHAH) Aaaanyway that arc would have dealt with each kid encountering their evil clone, being attacked by them/fighting them against the real kids’ wills, learning about them and their backstories, and the real kids’ Digimon would all finally evolve to Mega/Ultimate forms; the clones would have then been defeated after their corrupted virus type Digimon were destroyed, and after the clone children and their crests no longer being corrupted; them all dying peacefully to rejoin their Digimon in the Digital World afterlife. ;A;
(.....I STILL GET LOTS OF FEELINGS THINKING ABOUT THE STORIES I HAD PLANNED FOR THEM ALL, SOMETIMES, I ADMIT, ESPECIALLY MY FAV KOUSHIRO’S BECAUSE LIKE. /NO MY HEART/ ALSO, THE DIGIMON WERE ALL TO BE ESPECIALLY AMAZING, ESPECIALLY TENTOMON + HIS CLONE BECAUSE LIKE. YES. NO??? HUMONGOUS CORRUPTED VIRUS TYPE ARMORED GIANT BUG PROTECTING CORRUPTED TINY CHILD AND ALL. Also, if you saw my previous post on Koushiro AUs (AKA: MOSTLY SUFFERING), the AU idea there about “Koushiro fully losing his curiosity” would have been detailed in that storyline, too [just in the place of the clone Koushiro, with the real Koushiro trying to help/save him.... but alas.......] ;3;/)
(also the clone Koushiro may have not understood his own feelings and that he was hopelessly in love with the clone Taichi who didn’t know this at all until he found out at the very end; and who also died; yeah there was lots of drama/angst to be had)
As for the “Negative Crests”, basically, each Chosen would have had to fight against the darkness attempting to corrupt them and the Crests they had “lost” (which they’d then “regain”), with each cloned Chosen having the Negative Crests, like so:
Taichi -> Fear
Yamato -> Loneliness
Sora -> Hate
Koushiro -> Ignorance
Mimi -> Lies (Impurity??)
Jou -> Betrayal
Takeru -> Despair
Hikari -> Darkness
[/that feeling when I actually finished Hikari’s arc along w/a Ken + Daisuke miniarc cries]
(THE CLONE/DARK!JOU WAS ALSO V. EPIC AND BASICALLY BETRAYED ALPHAMON BY FINDING OUT ALPHAMON’S PLANS AND DESTROYING HIMSELF BEFORE ALPHAMON COULD FULLY CORRUPT HIM AND WIN, DARK!JOU AND ALSO JOU HIMSELF WERE SO EPIC, YOU GO JOUs !!!)
Also, being a kid at the time, of course I paired my OC with my other favorite character, of course (.....DAISUKE AHAHAHA) though young me was also very into slashfic and also not-so-subtlely hinted at underlying Tai//shiro storylines as well as not-to-be (orz) Ken//suke (mainly from Ken’s side; it’d then lead to the Ken//yako kids). All of it would have tied into the post-02 epilogue that basically explained “how the heck did all this happen and what do they and the epilogue kids do next??” AAAAND YEAH. (EVEN YOUNG ME LOVED TAI//SHIRO AND KEN//SUKE / DAI//KEN TO DEATH, OK, OK, YOUNG ME KNEW WHAT WAS UP)
Soooo I’m sure you can imagine how I feel now watching AND (MOSTLY) ENJOYING Tri and seeing other new interesting character(s) (Meiko!!) instead, ahahaha. ...Though now I’m also missing my old OC(s) and reflecting on all these old storylines I had (AMONG OTHERS), WHY THIS...... ;A;/
Ah well, it’s still nice to reminisce....!
(BY THE WAY, YOUNG ME ALSO NEVER SAID SO AT THE TIME, BUT THIS OC [AND COINCIDENTALLY ALSO DAISUKE] WAS DEFINITELY HEADCANONED TO BE SOMETHING LIKE BI/PAN/DEMI??...!! Hikaru as a character would have felt to her personally, purely looks or physical attraction was secondary - she would have probably believed in soulmates; developing a very strong emotional bond only with a person who loved and accepted her for who she was, and who she was the same for them. For my character, at the time, that was Daisuke...! H-Hahaha, though - she was also to have a backstory involving another (boy) OC she loved dearly, one who had disappeared (or: died/taken by the digital world) and she had to move on from (nOT.... HELPED BY ONE OF HER OWN DIGIMON DYING PERMANENTLY [the gold one], I’M STILL SUPER SAD I HAD TO KILL HIM OFF BUT IT WAS NECESSARY FOR THE STORY it was also a huge part of her character development and flaws including how she reacted to death/grief and would basically withdraw heavily into herself ALA KOUSHIRO AT HIS WORST.....); she would have then learnt to move on and found her personal true happiness & also her true love. So, at the time, that was Daisuke (despite the major Ken//suke undertones because it was [very] sadly not to be in that fic, o-orz - also Daisuke was a huge underdog/underappreciated within the fandom at the time (and also within OC fic which was near exclusively dub based), who was constantly bashing him for the dumbest of reasons jUST. WHY WAS FANDOM LIKE THAT-)
-- but back to Hikaru now, NOW....?? idek, maybe she’d find someone different and Daisuke would end up together with Ken?! WHOOOO KNOOOOOWS
(MAYBE EVEN POLYSHIPS, THAT’D DEFINITELY WORK TOO, YES)
(ADDING A BIT MORE ABOUT HER PERSONALITY!!:)
-quite mature as well as modest
-secretly a huge computer geek that would also be very experienced at coding. This, of course, made Koushiro something like a senpai to her, and they’d often excitedly discuss computers/coding (along with Ken chiming in at times) while the rest of the Chosen would blank stare (hhhhhA)
-despite this however she’d definitely not be on Koushiro nor Ken’s levels but she’d be on course to fast improvement with their guidance!!
(also keep in mind this fic was originally written when I was a very young kid when girls who coded were acknowledged even less o-orz)
-(ALSO SECRETLY A VERY ENTHUSIASTIC GAMER) (eventually, she’d come to hang out with Daisuke [+Taichi, Koushiro and Ken when they visited] to play games!)
(the outcomes would often be: defeat Daisuke [repeatedly], defeat or draw with Taichi [to his dismay as well], be beaten by Koushiro and Ken [to which she’d vow to challenge herself to become better!])
-typically very optimistic/positive, kind/friendly, warm, welcoming, helpful, respectful etc., unlikely to have a mean bone in her body and basically extremely loving and supportive towards everyone
-this would often put her at odds, however, with more competitive people or ruder people who weren’t as warm or welcoming; though she’d accept that being the case, she’d often be troubled that she did “something wrong”
-speaking of being respectful, though she also wasn’t near Koushiro (or Iori) levels of “-san” respectfulness, she did use proper honorifics for everyone and often hesitated to change honorifics, even when prompted.
(The older Chosen were a mix of “-san” [Yamato, Sora, Mimi until Mimi demands the use of “-chan” as per typical] and “-senpai” [Koushiro, Jou, and even Taichi, to his bemusement] mainly due to her having been intimidated to be new at the start, which is.... qUITE A LOT LIKE MEIKO’S NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT...)
-despite her typical personality though she would stand up for herself and her friends as needed, especially in the face of evil/darkness
-though very friendly, much more of an introvert than an actual extrovert; she’d rather stay inside unless invited out by the others (who would often have to insist she join them)
-had some initial regrets about moving from America, even though things were harder for her there (where it was even harder for her to fit in) and it was necessary for her parents’ jobs, it was still her original home, so she holds her childhood close.
-becomes chosen to be a Chosen Child due to her initial involvement with Digimon involving the OC who was “taken” by the Digital World
(though she wouldn’t learn this was the reason or understand how/why it happened until later)
-her story arc would essentially revolve around her learning to pick herself back up after grief and helping to save everything
(ALSO A BIT MORE ABOUT THE DIGIMON):
-DemiSilveemon/Silveemon was more like Hikaru herself; though with a more eternally optimistic/supportive personality; though also somewhat more naive and silly, also with a short temper when something (DemiGoldveemon) irritated her. But when things would get tough, she’d always know the right thing to do \o/
-DemiGoldveemon/Goldveemon was much more extroverted / hyper / exciteable and super energetic/even more supportive!! ...though he was also the troublemaker, often getting into mischief and causing headaches for Hikaru and DemiSilveemon.
However, when he’d have to put playing aside and defend his friends, he’d become extremely cool and awesome...!! ;A;/
(Later on, he’d also reappear briefly in spirit form to remind Hikaru and Silveemon to not give up \o/)

500 FOLLOWER CELEBRATION
so! very soon i will be hitting FIVE HUNDRED FOLLOWERS. (right now i’m at 436, and i tend to get 5+ with every update and sometimes a few in-between.) i can't thank you guys enough for this - your faith in me while i am still such a new comic is humbling and inspiring, and i hope i can draw you a story worth the wait. thank you so, so much.
i promised awhile back i'd do something nifty for 500, and since i'm doing it for you guys, i thought i'd let you pick the event!
the three ideas i had were:
a request stream. downside: since i'm a slow artist, i wouldn't get to very many, and not everybody wants to make a twitch account. but maybe i could just sketch the request in stream, and throw some doodle-style lines/colors on it later :D upside: many "winners" so to speak, as long as they were willing to make a twitch account, especially if i did a stream as long as my usual thursday ones (which are usually 6-8 hours). in addition, these prizes would be awarded almost INSTANTLY, whereas any prizes from a giveaway (see below...) might take me some time to complete, especially if there’s a lot of winners.
temporary ask blog. for a to-be-determined period of time or number of asks, this blog would temporarily become an ask blog, and you could ask the characters of REFUSE anything you liked! of course i wouldn’t be able to spoil anything about the plot directly or get to every ask, but ask blogs have always looked like a lot of fun to me (but something i don’t have time for...) so i think it’d be pretty neat. downside: my plot hasn’t advanced too far yet, but upside: it’s got some really heavy backstory that clever questions might dole out some hints for.
a giveaway, probably with a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner. kudos to @bunnikkila for helping me brainstorm some of these potential prize ideas:
an undertale fanmix - considering the ~700 mixes i have sitting on my hard drive, that'd be pretty easy. i could do a themed one (examples: 1 2 3) or a one-track mix (multiple remixes of the same track - examples: 1 2 3). these would come complete with the very simple “sprite art” you see as these covers.
a custom undertale human child sprite (examples: 1 2 3) (i can’t do teens/adults, sadly, since i need a base to work off of) or other sprite manipulation (examples: 1 2). i can’t make a sprite from scratch but i could alter any sprite in the game!
a sketch/doodle/scribble thing of any undertale character(s), including OCs (examples: 1 2)
a physical copy of a sketch/drawing of any undertale character or OC. i don’t have the means to color art traditionally, so it would be without color, but i would mail it to your house! (this assuming you don’t mind giving me your address)
i could color your lines - i do collabs with friends, and what happens is they draw the lines and i pour on the colors/shading and sometimes the background as well. (examples: 1 2) so if you’re the type who likes drawing but not coloring, i could color one for you! upside: i could do this for literally any drawing, not just undertale-related stuff.
a full illustration of any undertale-related thing, whether you want scenery or a poster or whatever (examples: 1 2 3 4 5)
fic! i am a writer and have TONS more writing experience than drawing experience. only problem is i'm a little picky about what prompts i'd accept, so i don't know if that would make it too much of a hassle to be a good prize. i’d definitely be willing to chat it out with whoever won, though. if you’d like check out my writing to see an example, my AO3 is here, but unfortunately i don’t have any undertale fic up and some of what’s at this link is VERY NSFW, so minors, please skip it!
a little 1-3 pg minicomic (if that was the case, this would probably have to be the ONLY prize, bc i'm already really really busy and it would take quite a bit of time - no example needed here, you guys already know what my comic pages look like lol)
a cameo in the comic with the character of your choice, be it your original character or a character from another work. if i did this though i would be very tricky - for instance there could be no humans, because this entire story takes place before the monsters meet them. also, i probably won’t get to any random bg characters for quite awhile so the prize-winner would have a long wait lol
another possibility is dividing ALL of these prizes up into tiers and letting the winner choose their own prize from the list (first place winner can choose an illustration OR getting their lines colored, second place winner could choose a doodle OR a sprite, etc), the upside to tiers is i could offer more extravagant prizes and more winners for more notes - should the giveaway post only get a few, i’d be okay doing simple prizes, but if there was a lot of interest i could potentially offer something like the mini-comic ALONGSIDE other prizes. i actually like this idea quite a lot (along with the idea of getting your name put in the proverbial jar more times for doing things like reccing the comic or drawing art for it), but i’m worried that it might be needlessly complicated or confuse someone and lol i don’t want to be confusing!!
anyway, since this is for YOU GUYS, i’ve decided to set up two polls to let all of you decide - one to say whether you’d prefer a request stream, an ask blog, or a giveaway, and another to see what types of giveaway prizes everyone likes the best (you can choose multiple answers for this one, otherwise everyone would easily pick a nicer prize over the little ones hahaha). these will stay open until a day or so after we hit 500 followers - which could be a few weeks from now - so you should have PLENTY of time to mull it over and make your choices. i’ll warn you before they close. (or you could speed it up by reblogging more comic pages >D after all, the more people who see it the more likely i am to get new followers!)
final last note: whatever i wind up doing for the giveaway, my basic rules are: AUs, undertale OCs, gore, canon ships = OK! non-canon ships, character-bashing (this includes yandere murder-loving chara), NSFW, or frisk and chara as boys or girls = NOT OK. also, of course, only followers would be eligible to win! just stuff to keep in mind when you’re voting.
