Firen Lhain: Chapter 1106: Hush: Part III / III

This time Ren and Ciel slowly rode up as Sophia sat behind Jaune and Neo sat behind Weiss.

"M'Lord." Ciel affirmed.

"M'Lord." Ren echoed.

"Ren, Ciel." Jaune said, and nodded.

"Hello." Sophia said from behind him

* * *

Then next to arrive were Aurora and Taj. "You're both being careful, right?" Jaune asked.

"You don't learn to fly in a day." Taj replied.

"Is it not tough to be in the saddle all day?, M'Lord, M'Lady?" Aurora asked them.

"Aura." Jaune replied, and shrugged.

"Just be careful without..." Weiss weissily said.

"Yeah, we are." Taj stated. "Helmets and everything."

"And we are taking all due caution." Aurora replied.

* * *

This time it was Sarah and Neo. Neo turned into an Atlasian uniform and saluted.

"I hate to break it to you," Weiss said to her, and she looked at Weiss curiously, "as adorable as it is, you cannot continue to impersonate an Atlasian officer." Neo steered Brunhilde over to them, with Sarah nervously getting Hildegard to follow them. Neo opened up her scroll and flipped through it, and then showed Jaune and Weiss her official commission. "I am having trouble believing that this is legitimate." Neo glared at her.

"She was a bureaucrat in Mistral." Jaune stated.

Neo pulled off Torchwick's hat, and rifled through, pulling out a number of Lien cards.

"You were paid?!" Weiss asked, and Neo proudly nodded. "But how could your Atlasian commission be legitimate?" Neo scowled once again. She put the Lien back in her hat, and pulled out her scroll once again. She pulled up a number of forms, and showed them to the pair as she swiped through them. Application forms, falsified academic documents, a signed oath of service, and finally a pay stub.

"So, legitimate commission on false pretences?" Weiss asked, "That does not exactly fill me with confidence."

Sarah nervously looked over, and Neo showed her the pay-stub. "You!" she exclaimed.

"Yes?" Weiss asked.

"She..." Sarah nervously said.

"Just say it." Jaune added.

"She!" Sarah exclaimed.

"Yes?" Weiss asked.

"Higher pay grade!" Sarah exclaimed, and Neo proudly sat upright. "I also had to resign my commission to work here! What unit do you work for?"

Neo gave her a wicked glare and then held up an imaginary sign, "No one knows." the signs said, before quickly shattering like a mirror.

"Yes, well..." Weiss voiced, "As far as our crimes go, this is rather banal."

"She's impersonating an Atlasian officer!" Sarah exclaimed.

"She is legitimately an Atlasian officer." Weiss replied, "Even if it was obstained illegtimately."

"And what happens if she's found out?" Sarah asked.

"Dishonourable discharge." Weiss replied, "Though I doubt she expects it to get that far."

Neo nodded in reply.

* * *

Neo knocked on the door to the master suite, and Yang opened it up. "Yo?" Neo mimicked putting a crown on her head. Yang stepped back and nodded her head for Neo to walk in. Neo walked in, and went to the doors, looking at them.

"Middle one." Yang stated, and Neo knocked on the door.

"Yes?" Weiss asked, and Neo opened the door. She stepped inside and closed the door behind her before sitting down. She pulled Torchwick's hat off her head and into her lap. She rifled through it, grabbing a number of Lien cards, and started placing them on the desk. Weiss simply looked as she continued. Once there was a pile of Lien cards, she looked up. "Yes?" Weiss asked. Neo pushed the cards into the centre of the desk. "You want them invested?" Weiss asked, and Neo shook her head. "I'm afraid I don't follow." Neo once again put her hands on the pile, pushing them a couple inches closer to Weiss and then stopped looking up at her. She then gestured for Weiss to take the cards. "Pardon, but... you are... giving them?" Neo looked down and nodded. "To the family?" Weiss asked, and Neo once again nodded. "I'm not sure I can take them." Weiss added. Neo looked up and glared at her. Her glared grew more and more feral and ferocious. She then held up a sign,

'I will kill "myself" again.' The sign said, and Weiss simply stared at her.

"Tell me one thing." Weiss said, and Neo stared deep into her eyes, "Do you have other assets?" Neo nodded. "Then I suppose, on threat of identity suicide, I will accept your generocity."

Neo's sign changed, 'I want to buy Sarah a present."

"Anything more specific?" Weiss asked, but Neo shrugged, and her sign disappeared.

* * *

The large, Atlasian airship landed in the outskirts of Drumheller. "What do we do, now?" the officer of the watch asked.

"Just wait." Qrow stated, "Of the many things they don't trust in Vacuo, the Atlasian military is pretty high on the list."

"And, how do you expect to?.." the officer of the watch.

"Give them something to distrust even more." Qrow replied.

* * *

A lone hover bike rode up to the airship, and Rishi Singh stepped off. Qrow jumped down to see him, Taiyang and Raven jumping down behind him. "You don't look like Specialists?" Rishi asked.

"You saying I'm not special?" Qrow asked, "My nieces think I'm special." Raven sighed at this. Qrow then looked at her before looking back at Rishi, "Do you really think she's good at working with others?"

"So, not Specialists?" Rishi asked. "What makes you special enough to get an alabaster airship to ferry you?"

"We're looking for the queen bitch of queen bitches." Qrow replied.

"Eleanore Gunn?" Rishi asked.

"Oh, Good asshole God no." Qrow replied. "I doubt your queen bitch could even come close to matching how much of a bitch ours is."

"And what brings you here?" Rishi asked.

"Oh, nothing much." Qrow stated.

"She's after yours." Raven stated, and Rishi's eyes grew wide.

"We don't know why she's after yours." Qrow stated, "But if she finds her, it won't be good."

"We're also kind of chasing a dragon." Taiyang added.

"Why the hell didn't you start with that?" Rishi asked.

"Because I'm a people person." Qrow gruffly stated.

"Well, the dragon came around here, and then dropped off the radar." Rishi added, "To say it has people spooked is an understatement."

"Yeah." Qrow voiced, "The students at Beacon weren't exactly happy to have it camped out there. But, believe it or not, our girl is the bigger threat."

With this, Rishi's eyes grew wide with shock, but he was trying to play it off.

"It's kind of hard to describe how badly we need to find her." Taiyang added.

"And, what does she look like?"

"White skin, red eyes, Grimm lines across her face." Raven stated. "Not exactly easy to mistake."

"If she came through here, she would likely be covering her face." Rishi stated.

"If she didn't come here." Raven stated.

"Then?" Rishi asked.

"Your local bandit tribes." Raven voiced.

"Most were taken care of by Miss Eleanore Gunn." Rishi stated. "She's really done a lot of good around here. Which is why we're so protective of her."

"Who knew being a queen bitch might come back to haunt her?" Qrow asked, and Rishi just glared at him.

"I'll ask around town, see if we've had any strangers." Rishi stated. "You guys going to be around here?"

"The ship's not going anywhere." Qrow stated.

"Maybe into a canyon to avoid the heat." Taiyang added.

"And you?" Rishi asked.

"Oh?" Taiyang asked, "Just going for a ride."

* * *

Yang looked at her scroll, "That ass."

"Pardon?" Weiss asked, and Yang showed her the scroll. On it was a picture of her father on a hoverbike,

'Who's the biker now?'

* * *

Neo walked into her room, leaving the door open. She spun around, extending the blade of her umbrella, and Ilia de-cloaked.

"That was a nice thing you did." Ilia said, and Neo still held Hush pointed at her. Ilia turned to leave, and closed the door behind her.
