As a last-minute revenge plot, he rang up GO-tower (good thing it's in the phonebook) and asked if Hego, Mego, and the Wegos were up for a house visit after lunch. Hego instead suggested that they could all meet up at a restaurant for dinner as a fun surprise for Shego. - The possibles coincidentally are also at the restaurant as a "Thank you for helping my boys out when his friends couldn't make it to the lion dance performance." "No big, really! It was an honor to help you all out with this!" "And these lion pants! They're so stretchy and elastic and they don't fall off even after dangling around on top of a tall pole! So say. Are cassava chips like the Asian equivalent of Tortilla chips? Because my man, do I have a spectacular idea coming up!" thus Ron rushed off into the kitchen to make a... well, sort of chips, noodles dish (he ran out to Bueno nacho when he couldn't handle the 'spice' of the cassava.) and well yeah.... 'Toodles' (Tortilla Chip Noodles) was born. Kim being left alone was then spotted by... "Drewbie? Isn't that your friend Kim?" "No." "Yeah, look it's Kim! The girl who helped you and Shego save the world? Yoohoo! Kimberly!! Over here, grab a seat dear! Really Drew, I still can't believe you lied to me about being a radio talkshow doctor instead of a secret service agent training and inspiring the next generation of heroes! First of all, unpopular opinion but I do not headcanon that their names follow the first-letter format. So, no H-name for Hego, no Sh-name for Shego... It's something I just can't stand. I get why people do it, it fits with the KP universe... Still, I just cannot.

But, moving on from that.

This....this is gonna be long. Sorry not sorry. Huge Go fam dissertation under the cut.

Hego (I apologize in advance for the mini-fic you're about to read and that my HC's about the others aren't nearly as broad)

Brendan is his name. I HC a bit of an Incredibles world in his mind from the very beginning of the movie, where he sees all his actions as pure and all "evil" must be stopped no matter what. Has multiple blind spots, and Shego's leaving didn't really do anything to take those away. No, what took those away were his girlfriend... One day he was forced to save a girl from a hit and run without changing into costume, there was no time. And as he was out of costume he had no excuse to vanish. And he didn't want to, seeing this lovely girl with the soft brown hair and kind, inviting eyes that suggested she would hear everything he ever had to say and happily. So he started dating Sarah and eventually told her the truth. He cared enough about her to reveal his secret identity. But the hero world still had its hold on him, and he could never say the L-word to her. And she knew... She knew that he was trapped in that world. So when she went away to college they didn't officially break up, but she just...stopped returning calls or answering letters. And he knew too, after the first few weeks, but he didn't want to admit it to himself... And over time, he found that missing Sarah not only distracted him from hero-work... But it was more important to him. He really, REALLY struggles to wrap his mind around this. His solution however is just to take Shego's parting advice to him... To go to college. So he finally, secretly and sheepishly, enrolls in a university and hopes he'll one day be able to work through whatever it is that he is... Less for himself... And more for the hope that Sarah might still be there when he can make himself worthy of her someday. (This story of Sarah is a WIP I've never finished btw lol maybe I'll be inspired now or maybe I'll be satisfied since I tossed it out into the public finally after like four years.)

Shego

Her name is Rachel. I could have honestly gone with Rhonda or Roxanne, and even now I lean toward Rhonda the most strongly. But Rachel is what I wrote into fic, so that's what I'll stick with. She's possibly the most tragic of the siblings. The only girl in a family of boys who are all so extremely boy. And then the comet... Family falls apart... They're put under the custody and rule of Global Justice, as weapons to be used at their whims. Not all of this is revealed to the children really, but Shego knows. No mother to help her in anything growing up, no real life at all... She wanted to be a cheerleader. She really, really, wanted to be part of that crowd. To do her hair and makeup and nails and wear the uniform and stand on top of the pyramid, to feel like she was flying, but even more to feel that support of the people holding her up--friends who she knew would have her, both in that moment and metaphorically... People she could invite in and trust. But she couldn't have that. She had to have a secret identity. And she had to go out on missions instead of to high school football games. So it was a dream never realized. She finally DID leave though, went to college, chose teaching mostly because the only worlds she knew were GJ hero-work and...going to school. Nothing else existed in her life. She tried to get custody of her younger brothers, but it never worked out. And the teaching... She was simply a fish out of water. She tried. She genuinely, truly, tried to be a normal person for about a year out of college. But she had no skills, no support, and didn't know how to ask for help and even if she did...wouldn't have known what to ask. So she left. She gave on on hero work and gave up on being normal. The only freedom at all was in a blue-skinned man who didn't know her name when she walked into the room. She wasn't the celebrity. She was a stranger to him, and finally for the first time in her life had a fully clean slate. She could finally find and make herself, and did so at the side of another person who life had done dirty, and who never, ever judged her for anything at all. It was the first thing about Drakken that made her look at him more closely, and she learned how to be a friend, an enemy, a family, and a life partner through him.

Mego

His name is Brody. I just see tall wiry guys with that name. Maybe cuz of Adrien Brody lol I only just realized that connection, that's exactly the reason. Anyway. Uh. Actually... I got nothing. I had zero feelings for this character when watching the show and anything I have right now is just whatever is in my fic "Forget the Days Gone By" which I don't remember and I'm too lazy to link sorry and...yeah this is just not a character I care about. The one who cares about him is @gothicthundra and anything I could try to say about him here would just be her fantastic headcanons, sooooooo ask her haha.

Wego

Names are Dylan and Alex. Dylan after one of the Sprouse brothers and Alex after one of the twin bro characters on Full House. Yeah that's it for these two as well. I got nothing. Except well...I guess since they were given their powers and sucked into being heroes at infancy, they'd be the most deluded and have the most to gain from escaping it all someday. And I headcanon that Shego adores them and wants to take them away but she never could, Hego and GJ (the evil overlords responsible for Team Go in my headcanon) would never allow it... Yeah sorry I am just into into them.

I pre-ordered the new WEGO mini bag and coin pouch on March 31, missed the delivery yesterday because I was at work, but just had them redelivered. Woohoo!

In case you were wondering which designs I got, I'll show you:

A coin purse is a coin purse, so let's take a closer look at the bag.

It's nice and compact, with a small clear pocket on the front. It's fairly spacious in there with a maximum capacity of 8 classic Tamas. It will fit your wallet but not your smartphone (unless you've got one of those folding ones).

Okay so it's useless as a Tama pocket. But what does fit in there?

Inexplicably, a gashapon charm. Something tells me the pocket is just supposed to be decorative.

Anyway, it's not the best bag in the world, but it's pretty cute when you pair it with the included chain.

In terms of durability I don't have particularly high hopes. WEGO is a fast fashion brand aimed mainly at teens, so the pricing and quality reflects this. (I think you can see the clear pocket is sewn on a bit crooked.) It's definitely cute though, and perfect for a quick trip to the store so long as you store your phone in your pocket.

Always happy to add Tamagotchi accessories to my wardrobe!

I'm just now realizing that Hego was MOST definitely embellishing when he said they got they're powers as children, given that Shego has to be like 30, the oldest Go siblings were probably teens while the Wegos were straight up babies.

Another thought is that given their lack of fame, I don't think they were a hero team for very long, so I assume Shego left a year or two after the team was formed, and the team went in different directions afterwards.

Those words Shego had spat in disgust at her brothers and at Kim Possible still haunt her to this day. The latter was certainly true – at the time, at least – but for her brothers, it wasn't true at all. She wanted to hurt them, she… she figured that distancing herself from them would do them good, as well as herself – but she was always left wondering whether or not they were okay. Drakken knew damn well that she had purposely lost the battle to take away her and her brothers' powers.

Reading all these Danny phantom x dc fics latley has got me thinking. one of My "primary" fandoms is Kim possible and now I low key head cannon that the Team Go siblings are Halfas and their 'glow' is how they use their ectoplasm.

It's a theory that low-key works way to well tbh.

Okay I used my horrid Franken images, which I will not show because it will give people nightmares, to force AI to generate a 3D kind of version of team go and others.

I always had this really interesting idea, because I don't want a Kim Possible remake or anything. But, imagine a team go movie that talks about like their first ever hero situation you know. I have a whole entire story in my head it's super campy and I can't even write it into a fanfiction because my brain can only translate it as a 3D animated movie or animated movie and it's really hard to go from those two points.

I just think with the modern times And if they did decide to make like a team go movie the 3D would look great because it would still kind of keep the Kim Possible style if they translated it but also more modern.

But the whole premise of said movie would start off with like a round stop team go-ish. And like the story being told to various people so that way we would kind of get like the regular people that we know in the 3D style but that way would be a good Headway into the movie without taking from the original series but also kind of making it its own.

Also have some of the other ones too I just didn't want to do all of them.

What are your thoughts on good Shego?

I think is an interesting concept but good Shego always felt different than the other characters who also got their morality swapped.

Shego’s brothers were still silly and useless and didn’t know what they were doing, they weren’t that different from their good selfs, Ron has always had a dramatic flair and he has hidden depths in terms of ability he still seemed in-character and Drakken has always been a goofball so him getting along with Rufus and helping Kim isn’t that far fetched.

All of them still felt like the same character

The exception being Good! Shego, how can I described it?

lt seemed fake? Manufactured? She was too nice? And we know Shego was never like that Hego remarks how she has always been snarky even when she used to be part of team go.

There’s a few people who liked her as good, but it always bothered me that unlike the other characters, Shego didn’t felt like Shego at all. Do you get what I’m saying?

you're going to get a lot of how my brain works in this answer, lol...

first, we have to remember that the devices used in Bad Boy and Stop Team Go (and seen being tossed out of Drakken's closet in Dimension Twist) are two different devices.

the device in Bad Boy is Jack Hench's Attitudinator. it works by removing the wearer's good and bad energies, and putting back just the bad. or rebalancing, as he says in his commercial. what happened to Drakken and Ron was that Drakken's good and bad energies were extracted and split between them. also worth noting in the same ep, is when Drakken tested his badness level he ranked pretty low. i personally headcanon that he'd psyched himself out a bit and ranked a little lower as a result. also of note is that when Shego tested her badness level, she maxed out the scale. we'll come back to this later...

the Attitudinator caused Drakken and Ron to gradually change their good/evil bend, once again based on Drakken's good/evil parts. how much Ron's own evil side was adding to the influence of Drakken's evil, who knows... but Drakken was then purely good and it was his own goodness. i like to think Ron kept some of Drakken's influence after the incident was over... but to your point: their personalities still felt like THEM. maybe that's just how the device works? maybe because Ron still had his own good/evil along with Drakken's evil, and Drakken because it was specifically his goodness? (also, note the continuity error at the end of the episode when Drakken's badness goes back, it shows his goodness going to Ron. it should have only been the badness returning to Drakken and nothing going to Ron, but i'm sure they were just trying to visibly show that Ron is good again.)

anyway, this brings us to the Reverse Polarizer. it....reverses what the person already has, as is indicated in the name. and yes, this is a repurposing of Jack Hench's device, but Electronique changed how it worked. so theoretically if it directly reverses the target's goodness/badness... if a person is extremely bad, like Shego (evidenced by the badness scale) then when her polarity is reversed she'll then be...extremely good. so in terms of how the tech worked and how she presented...it does in fact make perfect sense to me. and that says a lot about Team Go and Ron, and the nature of how good and evil present... we could get into how Mego is egotistical and yet still inherently good, to be directly reversed like that. but even among Team Go, their personalities stay the same. all of their memories are intact. and when it happens again to Ron, he seems to be basically the same as when he was influenced by the Attitudinator.

so based both on the tech itself, how it works, and evidence of the other characters and Shego's own "good" behavior... i think it's perfectly in character. because this is Shego with her good/evil totally reversed. this is NOT who Shego was as a member of Team Go. because that Shego is the Shego we know.... she willfully chose evil over good. and if we take the badness scale as canon...that means Shego is pretty supremely evil (see what i did there, lol) and Drakken and theoretically the others...not so much. it might be that Drakken, Ron, and Team Go have a better balance of good/evil within themselves (Drakken's badness scale... he also willfully behaves in an evil way, even if the scale doesn't show much) while Shego has no balance at all, lol. now i do personally think she has some hints of good in her, but...yeah. all of this said...i think what they did on the show makes perfect sense.

the Shego who we know in the show IS the Shego who used to fight for good on Team Go. so the reverse polarized Shego...yeah it was her, but it was a totally altered version. not how she would actually be if "good." artificially manufactured good, since that's never been her.... while the others were probably much more accurate to their good/evil balance within themselves.

now....you CAN totally ignore the badness scale. and this explanation still holds up, since Shego has always been evil. but everyone else used to be good. as you said, Hego said she was always snarky and liked evil the more they fought it... but Drakken used to be good. Ron and Team Go are good. i think Drakken, if persuaded with enough fame and recognition, would consider going good... it fits with his personality and reason for going evil to begin with.

i think it all hinges on that Shego is inherently a bad guy. the rest were turned by the device. so they seem more themselves because...they aren't really changed all that much. but Shego was altered drastically because she's the most inherently evil of them all.

man i could go on and on about this, but i feel like my explanation is already too scattered. i hope this makes sense. thanks for the ask!
