It's not my favorite ship, but I saw several comments in a wedclair short in youtube saying that "now everything needs to be gay" and that "there isn't female friendship representation anymore" and more bullshit like that. So I drew this out of spite.

Summary: Enid visits and reminisces

Enid sat on her bed in her shared dorm at Nevermore eyeing the raven-haired girl’s side of the room; said girl was sitting on her desk furiously typing away at her typewriter. She was hiding something and Enid intends to find out what it is.

“Wendssss” Enid said, drawling out her name

“What is it?” The shorter girl asked, the clicks and clacks of the typewriter unwavering.

Enid stood up and silently walked toward the girl, crossing the line between the two sides of the room, “Whatchu doooin?” She asked, hugging her friend from behind, looking over her friend’s shoulder as the shorter girl leaned back into her touch.

A piece of paper was loaded in the typewriter, on it was a half done love letter, confessing her feelings for someone. Enid’s mind raced at the thought of who it could be. Her heart ached at the possibility of her bestie falling for anyone else.

“Stop overthinking it.” The girl in Enid’s embrace said, breaking Enid out of her thoughts and stopping her from spiraling. “I’m certain I could hear your heartbeat from miles away.”

Enid blushed at being caught before the weight of her bestie and longtime crush’s words processed in her mind. “What do you mean stop overthinking it?!”

“It is for you, lupa,” She sighed, burrowing further back into Enid’s embrace”

Enid stood shocked before suddenly turning her around and kissing her intensely, straddling the short girl in the process. Their lips moved with each other like it was nothing new to them, their kiss filled with love and adoration as well as passion and desperation. They separated for much needed air, their foreheads touching before the brunette nuzzled the blonde’s neck, inhaling Enid’s scent.

“I love you…” Enid whispered directly into her bestie-turned-girlfriend’s ear. “Have been since 7th grade”

The smaller girl shivered at the tenderness of Enid’s voice; it didn’t help that her warm breath went directly inside her ear.

“I’ve been waiting for you to tell me, mia lupa.”

Enid laughed, tears still on her face as she finished reliving the day they became an official couple.

“I was so stupid! Looking back, the hints you gave was so obvious!” Enid exclaimed, still laughing at her own stupidity

It took a few moments for Enid to calm down to the point where she could actually breathe. She picked at the grass below her, a habit she picked up since she was a child. She then heard footsteps, taking Enid out of her trance, picking at grass, her head snapping towards the sound.

“One might think you were happy at the event of my death.” A figure said with a drawl, slowly moving out of the darkness.

The blonde stood slowly as she watched the features of the figure become more and more evident under the dim light. She let out a gasp as she recognized who it was.

“Wednesday?”

Deleted Scene:

A dark figure stood at the bottom of the hill. Its eyes widened at the sound of laughter at the peak of said hill. With quiet footsteps, which seemed to not make any sound at all, the figure climbed the steep hill with ease. What it found extremely baffled her to no end.

With her already making up her mind, she removed everything that covered her facial features before trying to find an amusing way to let herself be known…
