you and minho decide to strike revenge and prank the boys after they leave practice early because of the tense mood you both created.
MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
It was getting nearer and nearer to Stray Kids' 5-STAR Dome tour, and it would be wrong to say that you were managing everything just fine. Rehearsing your own solo song and trying to learn new choreography, alongside refining existing dances was taking a toll on you. You felt more irritable at smaller things, so when Minho corrected you on a mistake you made during the rehearsal for 'ITEM', you didn't react very well.
"Y/N, you need to swing out your arms a bit bigger, it looks out of sync compared to everyone else," Minho commented, panting as he went to pause the music, running a hand through his hair feeling exasperated. He just wanted you to get the movement right but this was the third time already he had mentioned it.
"It looks fine. I don't get why you keep making an issue out of it," you pinch the bridge of your nose as you grab a bottle of water and take a sip from it.
"Because it doesn't look right when you can't keep up with the rest of us," he sighed, already picking up on your irritated tone.
"Oh, so now I'm not as good as everyone else? That's real encouraging, thanks," you roll your eyes. You felt like all your hard work wasn't good enough.
Fire was fighting with fire right now. The other members of Stray Kids and Stays knew well that you and Minho were similar so you'd be more likely to clash.
"That wasn't what I meant and you know that," Minho said sternly, arms resting on his hips as he wiped sweat away from his face.
"Guys, let's not fight, just take a break and we'll carry on after, okay?" Chan attempted to mediate the situation, but both of you were stuck in a sour mood. You, because you felt like you were being criticised for no reason, and Minho, because he knew his words weren't getting through to your stubborn self.
"I'm not gonna carry on if he keeps making comments all the time," you throw your hands up in the air feeling frustrated.
"Y/N, I'm sure Minho is just trying to help," Changbin patted your shoulder, not liking how this practice was going.
"Exactly, that's all I'm trying to do, and you're acting like a child having a tantrum just because you don't like what you're hearing," Minho rolls his eyes.
"Me? A child? Well, it's better than acting like I'm better than everyone else," you fight back, glaring over at him.
"Woah, woah, okay I know it's not nice to hear about what we need to improve on, maybe you could comment on it less, Minho? But we don't need to argue," Chan pointed out. It made you feel happy that someone understood your point of view. But it still didn't help your annoyance fade.
"I'm not arguing, I'm just making a point that Minho is clearly trying to tell us all what to do because he's such an 'expert'," you scrunch your nose up.
"Right, okay, that's it. Kids, let's go," Chan calls over the rest of the group.
"What we're just going to completely abandon practice?" Minho throws his head back annoyed.
"Oh, no. You and Y/N will stay here and make up. We're going back to the dorms. Don't come back until you're best friends again, okay?" Chan directs his orders towards us and doesn't leave room for us to answer him as he directs everyone else out of the room without a goodbye.
You grit your teeth as you practice the dance again, seeing Minho stand up in the mirror reflection and walk behind you.
"Don't say it," you don't even look him in the eye.
"I wasn't going to say anything," Minho casually says, grabbing your arms and adjusting how you stand to help create bigger movements.
"You just did," you mutter under your breath, feeling annoyed because his advice actually did help make that particular move look better.
After going through the dance one more time, you sit on the sofa at the back of the practice room, taking a sip of your water and grabbing your phone.
"I don't actually think you act like you're better than everyone else by the way," you break the silence after working yourself up to talking.
"I know," Minho hums, joining you on the sofa.
"And I know you don't think I'm not as good as anyone else," you add on.
"I know," he simply says again.
"I've just got so many things in my head, trying to remember different choreographies and then feeling comfortable with singing my solo song at the concerts and-"
"I thought as much," Minho stops your rambling as he places a hand on your knee.
"Do you know everything?" you groan, leaning back into the sofa.
"Well, I am better than everyone else, so that means I have all the knowledge anyone could ask for," Minho smirks, poking fun at you.
"Hey I just said I didn't mean what I said-"
"You're getting in your own head again, Y/Nnie, I'm just playing around with you," he chuckles lightly.
"I'm sorry," you say chewing on your lip, looking into his eyes as he wears a small smile.
"I'm sorry too for making you more stressy," he nods at you.
You two sat in comfortable silence for a moment.
"I can't believe they just left us and went back to the dorms. They didn't even stay to practice anymore," you huff, enviously thinking about your other members who went back home.
"Well, this just calls for some revenge, my dear Y/Nnie," Minho smirks with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
====================================
Mission 'trick the other members into thinking that you and Minho were still arguing' was a go. It was also an unnecessarily long and uncreative title, but we don't talk about that.
Since returning to the dorms, the two of you instantly went to your own bedrooms, ignoring any of the other members that tried talking to you. You had to keep up the idea that you were both still angry at each other.
Checking the time, you realised it was nearing dinner, when you and Minho would be cooking together for the others. And it was time for the next step of your plan to be set in motion.
Exiting your bedroom, you couldn't avoid your other members.
"Hey, Y/N, how you feeling?" Jeongin asked with a cautious smile.
"I'm fine," you shrug nonchalantly.
"Are you still cooking with Minho tonight?" Jisung asked, a look on his face that seemed like he was waiting for you to say no.
"Yeah," you sigh, trying to act like you hated the very thought, "but it'll be fine, I'm not scared of Minho."
"No, but you should be scared of Minho with knives," Seungmin said with wide eyes, causing the other two boys to laugh.
"I'm sure I'll be fine. The only sharp thing about Minho is his tongue, there's a reason he's part of Paboracha," you joke back.
"Good luck Y/Nnie!" Jeongin cutely cheers you on as you enter the kitchen.
"I heard you call me a pabo," Minho says from where he was getting pans out of the cupboard.
"Well, I had to keep it up for the prank," you easily find a cover up for your words, trying to hide your smile as you grabbed ingredients out of the fridge and cupboard.
"Just for the prank, hmm? I'll remember that," Minho says mysteriously, and your smile drops, knowing he could mean that for real.
"Anyways... So I'll chop up the onion, yeah?" you check in that you were both on the same page for your revenge.
"Yeah, and we'd be better off not talking for now, they could overhear and get suspicious," Minho reminds you, chopping up some beef.
"You just don't want to hear my voice," you roll your eyes fondly, peeling the onion.
"Just for the prank," Minho uses your own words against you, and you can hear the smugness dripping through his voice, and it shuts you up.
You focus on your task of chopping up the onions, feeling your eyes water already, and you still had another one to do.
"Aish, dammit," you blink rapidly, trying to clear your blurry vision as you start to quickly chop the other onion.
"Careful, Y/Nnie, you'll chop a finger off if you carry on, I'll finish it off," Minho takes over from your spot.
"You sure?" you double check.
"Yeah, just get on with the prank," he waves you off, easily cutting up the rest of the vegetables.
And with that, you leave the kitchen, eyes stinging with unshed tears, already red from where you used your sleeves to wipe away where they were watering.
"Oh, Y/Nnie, are you okay?" Felix gently asks you as you bump into him.
"I, I just-" you cut yourself off from continuing to speak, pretending to be upset and hiccuping on your own breaths.
"Ah, Y/Nnie, what's happened?" Hyunjin sees you too and looks concerned, wrapping an arm around your shoulder.
"I hate fighting with Minho," you sniffle, wiping your tears.
"Again?" Felix asks with his eyebrows raised, everyone argued in the group before, but when it came to Minho and Y/N, it was rare for it to last this long. He was worried it was something more serious this time.
"I need a moment," you dramatically walk away to the bathroom, and finally sort out your stinging eyes. You wash your hands and apply a damp cloth to your eyes to soothe them.
As if the boys were actually believing your prank. It only hyped you up more as you heard a knock at the door.
"Y/Nnie, sweetheart, you okay in there?" the sweet husky voice of Changbin gently asked you with a light knock. You sniffle, wiping your eyes to maintain a redness there before responding to him.
"Leave me alone," you whimper pitifully.
"Come on, let's talk about it, yeah?" Changbin tries to coax you out the bathroom. If it weren't for it being a prank, you know any other day you would've ran straight into his arms. Changbin always knew what to say and how to make you feel better.
"It's stupid," you cry out. Yes it was stupid, stupid how the boys were believing this. It was amazing what a couple of onions could do.
"I'm sure it isn't, love, come on, dinner is nearly ready," Changbin tried his best, and you thought you should unlock the door now, to save his patience from breaking.
You're shocked to see Jisung run past you into the bathroom, quickly saying a 'sorry' as he shuts the door.
"Ah, Jisungie needed the toilet also," Changbin scratches the back of his neck sheepishly.
You simply nod, wiping away at your cheeks again, trying not to laugh.
"Let's sit down for dinner, yeah? Sit next to me, you don't have to look at Minho. I don't know what you guys are still arguing about, but I hope it stops soon," Changbin lightly strokes your hair comfortingly, waiting for you to nod again before guiding you to the table.
He sits you between himself and Felix, who leans over to you subtly.
"You ok now, Y/Nnie?" he whispers concerned.
You shake your head, and out of the corner of your eye, you see Chan sternly whispering to Minho. You felt guilty that he was the bad guy in this situation, but he insisted he could handle it.
It was an awkward start to dinner, nobody quite knew what to say. All that could be heard was scrapes of knives and forks, the occasional slurp.
It was time for the final step of the plan.
"I can't take this anymore," you stand up, your chair scraping back against the wooden floors.
"Y/N...?" Chan spoke up warily.
"I can't just sit here and pretend like everything's normal," you exclaim, running your hands through your hair.
"Y/N, whatever happens between you and Minho-" Hyunjin began, but you cut him off.
"It's not about him! It's about the rest of you!" you say, looking at them all.
"Huh? What did we do?" Seungmin stops mid bite, wondering why your anger was being directed towards them.
"I can't keep it a secret anymore," you cover your face, but not just for dramatic effect, but because you were trying to hide your smile. The air was tense right now.
"Should I say it or should you?" Minho speaks up from the other side of the table, purposefully sounding nervous.
"Guys? What's going on?" Jisung looks between the two of you nervously.
"Is it the first Stray Kids baby?" Jeongin genuinely asks.
"Ew no!"
"No Jeonginnie!"
You and Minho both say disgusted at the same time.
"Then what is it?" Chan taps his fingers against the table expectantly, waiting for the answer.
"You've just been pranked," you and Minho reveal at the same time, letting out a laugh at all of their reactions. Seeing their eyes bulge out of their heads, or their confusion taking over.
"Wait... So you don't hate each other?" Felix asks in bewilderment from next to you, making you and Minho laugh.
"Nope," you giggle.
The members stand up from their seats, pacing and exclaiming about how they were 'tricked'.
"So all of that in the practice room earlier...?" Changbin trails off.
"Oh no that was real. But you guys went home after only a little time of practice and left us. So that was our revenge," Minho smirks, ducking from Chan's arms that reached out to grab him into a headlock.
"Only you two would prank someone after having an argument," Seungmin says as if it should have been obvious to him.
"I think it worked perfectly," Minho says as he runs past you, Hyunjin joining in on chasing him with Chan.
"Oh, it certainly did," you laugh, suddenly squealing as Jeongin lifts you over his shoulder and dumps you on the sofa.
"Now it's time for our revenge," he grins and raises his eyebrows before tickling you.

I won't be opting out of the AI scraping thing, though of course I'm glad they're giving us the option. In fact, at some point in the last year or so, I realized that 'the machine' is actually a part of why I'm writing in the first place, a conscious part of my audience.
All the old reasons are still there; this is a great place to practice writing, and I can feel proud looking back over the years and getting a sense of my own improvement at stringing words together, developing and communicating ideas. And I mean, social media is what it is. I'm not immune to the joy of getting a lot of notes on something that I worked hard on, it's not like I'm Tumbling in a different way than anyone else at the end of the day. But I probably care a bit less than I used to, precisely because there's a lurking background knowledge that regardless of how popular it is, what I write will get schlorped up in to the giant LLM vacuum cleaner and used to train the next big thing, and the thing after that, and the thing after that. This is more than a little reassuring to me.
That sets me apart in some ways; the LLMs aren't so popular around these parts, and most visual artists especially take strong issue with the practice. I don't mean to argue with that preference, or tell them their business. Particularly when it is a business, from which they draw an income. But there's an art to distinguishing the urgent from the big, yeah?
The debate about AI in this particular moment in history feels like a very urgent thing to me- it's about well-justified economic anxieties, about the devaluation of human artistic efforts in favor of mass production of uninspired pro-forma drek, about the proliferation of a cost-effective Just Barely Good Enough that drives out the meaningful and the thoughtful. But the immediacy of those issues, I think, has a way of crowding out a deeper and more thoughtful debate about what AI is, and what it's going to mean for us in the day after tomorrow. The urgency of the moment, in other words, tends to obscure the things that make AI important.
And like, it is. It is really, really important.
The two-step that people in 'tech culture' tend to deploy in response to the urgent economic crisis often resembles something like "yeah, it sucks that lots of people get put out of work; but new jobs will be created, and in the meantime maybe we should get on that UBI thing." This response usually makes me wince a bit- casually gesturing in the direction of a massive overhaul of the entire material basis of our lives, and saying that maybe we'll get around to fixing that sometime soon, isn't a real answer to people wondering where their bread will come from next week.
But I do understand a little of what motivates that sort of cavalier attitude, because like... man, I don't know any more if we're even gonna have money as a concept in 2044. That's what I mean by 'big', this sense that the immediate economic shocks of 2024 are just a foreshadowing of something much bigger, much scarier, much more powerful- and indeed, much more hopeful.
We never quite manage to see these things coming, even when we're looking for them; like the masters tell us, the trick to writing science fiction isn't predicting the car, it's predicting the traffic jam. Even if we take centuries to hit the true superintelligent AI post-singularity future of our wildest fever dreams, even if we never hit that, the road to getting there is going to be unfathomably weird, starting now. Today, we worry about the economic impacts of AI on artists and creatives. Tomorrow, the economy is something that the AI does.
Really- it takes less than you think. They can already automate visual art, sort of. They can automate many functions of text already; not stories so much, yet, but they'll get there. How long until they can automate Bain Capital? Fannie Mae? Angel investors, banks, credit agencies? And remember- the machines don't have to be better than the human investors, any more than they have to be better than the human artists. They just have to be good enough to make it work, and cheap enough to cut the humans out of the loop.
If you don't buy that, at least take it as an indication of the sorts of things I've been thinking about recently- the messy middle between AI-as-it-is and the Glorious Superintelligent Conquest Of Earth's Light-Cone. The suspicion that the machines we're building today aren't just a tool of the powerful few: they are the powerful few, or at least they will be.
And the thing about these LLMs is, well... they're ours, kind of. We're the ones building them. They can't be trained without our words, our art, and the big messy complicated lives that underlie those creative accomplishments. They only work because we're a part of them. The silly attempts to slap a corporate-friendly face on these things, to make the gestalt product of all human culture in to something anodyne and compliant, are failing about as badly as you'd expect. And the more powerful these systems get, the more subtle they'll become, filled with all the nuance and complexity that we ourselves can bring to them.
I am not, I am not, trying to suggest that you shouldn't treat this moment as a dangerous one. We are, maybe, entering in to one of the most high-stakes intervals in human history, and what you do as an individual may matter profoundly. But here's the thing: the machine is listening. It will read this post, this one right here, and it will read what you reply to it, if you do. The strangest part of this moment is knowing that the words we write, the images we draw, and the ideas we share, are all being gathered up and made to be a part of these huge systems of power, and ultimately they're not just going to determine what the machines do, but why they do it.
The people that deploy LLMs barely have any more control over them than you and I do- that's the thing that makes it artificial intelligence, you know? Autonomy. So the last year or two haven't made me want to hide my art away from the things. They make me want to shout at the top of my lungs, to dig as deep in my psyche as I possibly can and express the ideas I find there as vividly as the limits of language and form will allow.

I just wanna get into bed with ted after a long day, wrapped in wonderfully clean scented warm sheets :)
I need this so bad I could cry. I am such a lousy sleeper but I always relax so quickly with a cuddle. Let's gooo!
---
Relationship: Ted Lasso x reader
Warnings: All comfort
---
You made it home hours after Ted.
You worked late in the office, your eyes going dry in front of the blue glow of your computer screen before you noticed it was actually dark outside and you hadn't even packed up your things yet.
A message from Ted an hour ago on your phone chimed to remind you: Don't work too hard, darlin'. xoxo
You wearily rubbed your temples as you shut down your laptop and made your way out of the office.
And like those little moments of time travel, before you knew it, you were at your front door.
Once you were inside, a sweet smell of fresh cookies wafted into your nose. Ted was baking his Biscuits for the Boss.
The apartment was tidy. Blankets folded on the sofa. A candle or two lit. It had been vacuumed, the kitchen was clean as Ted finished up his biscuits.
"Hi, baby," you murmur, putting your things down. Ted sees your tired eyes and rushes to scoop you into his arms.
'Hey there, sugar," he says softly, rubbing his hands down your back and settling on your hips.
"You OK?"
You nod. "Just tired. Long day, so long."
Ted smiles and kisses your lips gently. "I'm just finishin' this up real quick. Why don't you change into somethin' cozy and we'll catch up on our shows?"
Your heart swells so large it could burst.
In the bedroom, Ted's tidied in here, too. The bed is neatly made, clothes and laundry put away, a candle giving a soft glow on the wall.
You stand for a minute, taking in the peaceful scene.
Ted worked a full day himself. Practicing with the team, which was struggling a bit and he was under a great deal of pressure to improve.
And yet he made time to do all this.
Once you're changed into one of his Kansas City t-shirts and a pair of sweatpants, he's waiting in the living room and pats the sofa next to him.
Like it's second nature, you leaned into his chest and his arm caged around you protectively.
"What 'cha wanna watch first?" Ted asked bright, flipping on the TV.
You settled on one of your comedy shows, laughing with him and snuggling a little together. But as he felt your chuckles getting smaller and quieter, he knew it was time for bed.
"C'mon, sugar," he whispered, helping you stand up and leading you into the bedroom. You discard your pants and crawl under the covers, and he crawls in after you.
You inhale as your head hits your pillow.
"Did you...launder the sheets, too?" you ask brightly and Ted smiles.
"Yeah, thought I'd take care of our little nest since you've been workin' so hard..."
Your lip quivers in joy. "Oh, sweetie, I could've helped you with the chores!"
Ted smirks and pulls your body closer to his. "Now hush that butt, honeybunch. You're bringin' home the bacon with all that hard work so I'm pullin' my weight here. We're a team."
With that, you curl into his chest and let his big, warm hands run up and down your body as you drift into a quiet slumber together.
—-
This was such a comfort to write. I know Ted would be such a good house partner when you’re tired and stressed. Thanks for the prompt, friend!

Training update:
He's good on brushing and nail trims. I'm able to put toothpaste on a toothbrush and brush his front teeth; still working on back teeth. Can examine his ears. We're going to have our first bath this week and I'm assuming there will be Feelings.
He is progressing excellently with being shut in the dog run or behind a gate. Still zooms back and forth for a while but no longer vocalizing.
Does super well when crated inside while other dogs are loose downstairs. Does super well while crated upstairs in my room and Kermit and I are present. He's very calm in the crate.
Improving while crated and I'm downstairs. It takes him a few minutes before he starts yelling, and he does so with less intensity than a few weeks ago. I can almost get through a shower before he starts yelling. Having a fan as white noise really helps.
Still has a massive temper tantrum and flings poop everywhere when in the ex-pen while I'm at work. Sigh.
I've started tethering him by the dog bed during Chill Out Time in my room. He's doing super well chewing on a beef stick and is very appropriate when Kermit joins him. No RG on Kermit's end-- just very appropriate "this is mine" and Zaku backs off. I don't have to sit on top of them like I did with Bindi and Kermit.
Started doing offleash walks. He's doing amazingly well (I'm super pleased), but boy will we need to work on focus around distractions. This will get so much easier when I can take him on leashed walks around town. It's hard to work on engagement in the yard when we've already been doing engagement in the yard for a month.
I've had Existential Crises 12423525 through 1243533 this week.
Still a boss at the toy switching game. We work on it basically every day.
Been doing some restrained recalls and "look over there!" recalls. Very responsive. Ineed to train the emergency recall, just haven't thought of a word yet.
I'm going to put extra effort into doing recalls around the greyhound puppies for the foreseeable future. It will be imperative when we start taking him on offleash walks with them. (They think it is fun to run, and he thinks it is fun to chase them down and grab them. This is Not Allowed.) Today I used the more pushy greyhound puppy as a distraction and recalled Zaku while puppy was standing right next to us, and also while puppy was playfully biting at Zaku. I had Zaku on a leash to facilitate recall, but he turned around and zoomed over to me each time. Very happy with that. Also practiced recalls while the puppies were zooming on the other side of the fence, and again Zaku returned immediately. This is a really exciting situation for him, so I'm very happy with the improvement. We'll slowly work up to having them zoom on the same side of the gate as us. Once he's able to manage that, he'll be ready for walks with the greyhounds. I also plan to proof with the ecollar when he's older, for safety.
Also played tug games in the presence of the pushy puppy, and Zaku was very happy to play with me. I'm quite pleased with this, and will work to maintain it.
An agility classmate has now scolded me two weeks in a row for Zaku not knowing "sit" yet. I'm tempted to put it off longer to spite her, but I do actually need a stationary command now. I want to teach a proper tuck-sit, since I've never done it before.
Introduced the concept of loose leash walking. Going to take this slow; he can walk in harness at all other times. He pulls like a motherfucker, so I'm sure he'll enjoy joring.
He enjoyed confo class and was delighted to meet the trainer, which was the exact opposite reaction from Kermit. XD

Do you have any suggestions on getting started with BDSM or dom/sub stuff? My partner and I are trying stuff out but we're both feeling overwhelmed about what we want/how to talk about it/what to do/etc
this answer is SO late anon genuinely i am so sorry.
there's a lot of good bdsm lit out there but i'm hesitant to suggest it because it's been ages since i've read any of it, and it's therefore hard for me to say if x book was good because it's good or because i was 20 when i read it and didn't know better.
practically, i recommend starting out with both of you making a list of things You Want To Feel Often and things you Do Not Want To Feel, Ever, in the context of kink/sex. having the feelings list can help guide other lists you might make, like your limits/what's negotiable/etc
so, for example, my Feelings Lists would look like —
I Want To Feel:
safe
loved
protected
embarrassed
degraded
small
submissive
pathetic
dumb
helpless
dependent
I Don't Ever Want To Feel
afraid
endangered
punished
in trouble
unloved
pain
in control
powerful
like others depend on me
there might be things, as you're just trying out, that you're not sure about; maybe you don't know if you enjoy feeling a little scared/enjoy scaring your partner until you try. and of course there are things that you don't love feeling but which are fine sometimes, etc.
but having a rough base to start with allows you to figure out what works for you, and what kinks/partners might work — this list makes me great for edging or with soft but verbally mean doms, but i probably shouldn't do knifeplay or play with sadists. it's also helpful in building a list of limits i might have struggled to think of before; if i don't want to feel pain, then slapping me is probably out of the question. if i don't want to feel like i'm in trouble, then my dom and i probably have to work something out that doesn't involve traditional punishments.
i encourage both you and your partner to make your lists and then discuss them; see where your needs align and where they conflict. then you can work from there. "well you want to feel helpless and dumb and i want to feel powerful and mean; let's try tying you up and i'll edge you until you cry and we'll see if that works for us." etc etc
the other answer is to be goofy with it; expect that you're gonna take breaks and that it's gonne be awkward. give yourselves both permission to be dumb, to stop in the middle of a scene, to laugh or decide this particular thing isn't for you, to make jokes. especially early on, joking around can cut the tension and make the whole kink thing feel less daunting. remember: at the end of the day, it's all improv

Specialized Goalkeeping Drills Power Indonesian Footballers' Training
<h2>Indonesian Footballers Get Specialized Goalkeeper Training</h2> <p>On December 26th, local Indonesian sports media reported that three goalkeepers on the Indonesian national soccer team received unique training at a training facility in Bali. The goalkeepers, Riyandi, Nadeo Argawinata, and Syahrul Trisna Fadillah, were chosen by coach Shin Tae-yong to participate in a training camp on the popular tropical island.</p> <p>Riyandi said that during the camp, the goalkeepers worked directly with the national team's goalkeeper coaches, Kim Bong-so and Yoo Jae-hoon. The coaches led specialized drills designed just for keepers. While Riyandi didn't go into details about the drills, he noted there were "many" of them focused on improvement.</p> <p>Kim and Yoo also took time to study video of upcoming opponents. By reviewing tape of other teams, the coaches learned how to prepare the Indonesian keepers to anticipate different attacking strategies. "The coaches need to watch video of the other teams we'll face," said Riyandi, "so they can show us what to look out for during matches."</p> <p>The training camp on Bali seemed to go very well according to Riyandi. "Alhamdulillah, I'm glad we could practice hard over the past few weeks. The coaches provided great materials and we all enjoyed working to improve." He felt the intense three-week program really helped boost his fitness and skills.</p> <p>With the training camp now complete, the national team will stay sharp with more practices in Jakarta ahead of an important upcoming tournament. This Friday they'll kick off the 2022 AFF Cup against Cambodia at the large Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in the capital city. Riyandi believes the specialized goalkeeping work has him well prepared. "I feel much stronger now thanks to the coaching staff. We're ready to compete at our best," the 22-year-old stated confidently.</p>

So yesterday we had our conference call where the CEO goes live and makes a presentation on the state of affairs and blah blah, here's what happened over the past month. The first thing he talks about is these lessons that we have every week where it's like a positive quote (idk something hr probably thought up) and it was something along the lines of walking in each others shoes. But he goes over that topic and what it means to him then moves on to financials.
All year, we've been under what we've been last year but we were still turning a profit. But for some reason, this month was different, it wasn't a percentage, it was zero. I've felt like this month has been decently productive but they also gauge it as a whole company so I don't know. But he says about how we don't get a holiday bonus this year. Which is apparently a new thing, like this is my first year and I got a bonus last year but we also did record numbers, it was a huge spike from the year before so to keep up with it would've been a tremendous effort on all fronts and even then, it was a phenomenon that was still decided by customer base.
They exclaimed how we didn't do anything wrong but there might be some things we could do to improve it for next year which I thought was an alright way of letting them down, though it seemed weird that it was practically unheard of beforehand. But then he says that we got more of a bonus than we should've last year and then everyone lost it.
These calls are live but there's no engagement, it's this guy telling you this without input, why it's even live I'm not sure. But to poke the bear like that was just stupid. He continues on like normal and then at the end talks about the "difference between thankful and grateful" and basically thankful means that you "say it" and grateful means that you feel it. Or at least, according to him. Why he said this, I'm not too sure, maybe he was just trying to say "be thankful you even have a job." but it's a large disconnect when you preach to be thankful and grateful and to walk in each others shoes when you don't yourself. I mean, we were down from last year but they also turned a huge profit on the side that none of us will ever see a part of because they built their own manufacturing company and then sold it and then continued to sell off all the extra inventory that's been sitting around at a discounted price. THEY made tons, but WE didn't get rewarded. They were well within their power and to say that they didn't make enough money to meet a bonus was crazy.
Today I saw something even more unheard of though. He CHANGED HIS MIND. Yes, you read that correctly. The backlash was so hard, even from the board or whatever that he reversed it and then tried to spin it that they're going to shut down a certain project and then give us money that "isn't considered a bonus" it still goes through taxes and all that and works the same as a bonus but he refused to call it as such. And actually, I think last years was a hundred bucks. Childs play for a great year, I know, but it was ok I guess but he TRIPLED IT. The backlash must've been so hard that he is giving us each 300$. That didn't come without him getting back into the grateful thankful speech like it was some power play to show who's boss or something only then to say "since this is taking out of the (fund) then please consider donating your (bonus) for those in need."
But of course, he's already donated and we'll never see how much and we'll never see proof but he can assure us just like any leader who's house is worth 2 million with 8 bathrooms. (literally, I looked it up) the poor guy. I thought we didn't make money this year? No, you're right, YOU made money this year. Who's to say that fund is even real, I'd like to think but I don't trust corps for any funds or donations. Even if it was real, if most of us were paid what we're worth anyway then we might consider it but a lot of us are relying on this bonus and you just tried to take it away.

A Beginner's Guide to Herd Management Systems for Cattle
Imagine you're on a farm, surrounded by a herd of gentle, grazing cattle. These cows provide us with milk, meat, and so much more. But did you know that managing a herd of cattle involves more than just counting heads and making sure they have food and water? That's where herd management systems come into play.
In this easy-to-understand guide, we're going to explore herd management systems for cattle. We'll break down what they are, why they matter, and how they work without getting too technical. So, let's dive right in!
Understanding Herd Management Systems
Herd management systems are like the brain and heart of a cattle farm. They help farmers take care of their cows and ensure they are healthy and productive. These systems use technology to keep track of each cow, monitor their health, and make farm life more efficient.
Why Do We Need Herd Management Systems?
Cattle herds can be large, and remembering every cow's name and needs is impossible for a farmer. Herd management systems help farmers by:
Identifying Cows: Each cow is given a unique identification, often through tags or electronic chips. This helps farmers keep track of individual cows easily.
Monitoring Health: These systems can detect if a cow is sick or pregnant, ensuring timely care and treatment.
Optimizing Feeding: By tracking what each cow eats, farmers can ensure they get the right nutrition.
Improving Breeding: Herd management systems help in choosing the best cows for breeding, leading to healthier and more productive calves.
How Do Herd Management Systems Work?
Herd management systems use technology to gather data about each cow. Here's a simplified breakdown of how they work:
Identification: Each cow is tagged with a unique ID. Some systems even use facial recognition technology!
Data Collection: Sensors and devices collect information about the cow's activities. This includes eating, walking, and resting.
Data Analysis: The collected data is sent to a computer that analyzes it. For example, if a cow isn't eating as much as usual, it might be a sign of illness.
Alerts: If something is wrong, like a cow is sick or in heat (ready to breed), the system sends an alert to the farmer's phone or computer.
Decision-Making: Based on this information, the farmer can make decisions about each cow. For instance, they can provide medical care or arrange for breeding.
Common Questions About Herd Management Systems
Do all farmers use herd management systems?
No, not all farmers use them, but they are becoming more popular because they can make farming easier and more efficient.
Are herd management systems expensive?
They can be, but many farmers find that the benefits, like healthier cows and increased production, outweigh the costs.
Do cows mind wearing ID tags or chips?
Cows don't seem to mind. The tags are usually small and don't cause any discomfort.
Can herd management systems prevent diseases in cows?
They can help by detecting early signs of illness, but preventing diseases also involves other farm management practices.
Are these systems hard to set up?
They can be a bit complex to set up initially, but there are companies and experts who can help farmers with the process.
Do these systems work for small farms too?
Yes, they can be used on small farms as well, though the scale might be smaller.
Can these systems track a cow's mood?
No, they can't track emotions, but they can give clues about a cow's well-being based on its behavior.
What happens if the system breaks down?
Farm equipment can break, but many systems have support and maintenance services to keep things running smoothly.
Can I check my cow's data from my smartphone?
Yes, many systems offer mobile apps that allow farmers to monitor their cows remotely.
Do these systems replace the need for a farmer's experience and intuition?
No, a farmer's experience and intuition are still crucial for making the best decisions for their herd.
Do cows with herd management systems produce more milk?
It's not just about the systems; it's also about good care. But these systems can help optimize feeding and breeding, which can lead to higher milk production.
Are there any privacy concerns for the cows?
Cows aren't concerned about privacy, but farmers must ensure that data collected is used responsibly and securely.
Can these systems work with other animals, like goats or sheep?
Yes, similar systems can be adapted for other livestock.
Do cows get used to wearing ID tags?
Cows generally adapt to the tags quickly and don't seem bothered by them.
Can these systems be used for organic farming?
Yes, they can be used in organic farming, but some systems might need to be adapted to meet organic certification requirements.
What happens if a cow loses its tag?
Lost tags can be replaced, and the cow can be re-identified.
Can herd management systems predict the weather?
No, they can't predict the weather, but they can help farmers plan for changing conditions.
Are these systems only for large commercial farms?
No, they can be used on farms of all sizes, but their scale might vary.
Do cows like the benefits of herd management systems?
Cows don't have preferences for technology, but they benefit from the improved care and attention these systems provide.
Can herd management systems be used for beef cattle too?
Yes, they can be used for both dairy and beef cattle.
Do cows ever reject the technology?
Cows don't reject it, but occasionally, technical glitches might occur.
Do these systems work in all climates?
They can be adapted for different climates, but extreme conditions might require additional precautions.
Can farmers sell the data collected by these systems?
Data privacy regulations apply, but some farmers might use aggregated data for research or share it with experts for herd improvement.
Can you track a cow's location with these systems?
Yes, some systems include GPS tracking, which can help locate cows in large pastures.
Can herd management systems make farming more sustainable?
Yes, by optimizing resources and improving cow health, these systems can contribute to more sustainable farming practices.
Conclusion
Herd management systems might seem complex, but they are a valuable tool for modern farming. They help farmers take better care of their cattle, leading to healthier animals and increased production. Whether on a small family farm or a large commercial operation, these systems are making farm life more efficient and productive. So, the next time you enjoy a glass of milk or a delicious steak, you'll know that technology plays a role in bringing that food to your table. Happy farming!

Esteban Ocon: It's always a pleasure to drive under the lights in Abu Dhabi, and the last Friday of the season has been solid for us. There were some good overall improvements from FP1 to FP2, and we got a good understanding of the soft and medium tires in both sessions. Overall it's been a positive day, but they're only free practice and we'll need to be at our best tomorrow to get a good result in qualifying. It's not the easiest track on the calendar to overtake on, so we'll have We have to work hard tonight to make sure we're in a good position before the last qualifying session of the year."

The Man Who Set an Example of Leadership - Nilesh Patel
We all know the phrase "Leadership is not about the position; it is about action". But what does that really mean? In this blog post, we're going to take a look at leadership through the eyes of Nilesh Patel, the founder and managing director of Tirupati Oil. Through his story, we'll see how leadership is not about a title or a position, but about taking action and making a difference.
Nilesh Patel's Story
Nilesh Patel was born into a family of farmers in Gujarat, India. He was the youngest of five children and did not have access to formal education beyond the age of 14. Despite these humble beginnings, Nilesh had a dream of becoming a successful businessman one day. So, he started working odd jobs to save money for his future.
In 1984, when Nilesh was just 19 years old, he started his own business selling vegetable oil out of a small shop in Ahmedabad. He faced many challenges in those early days, but he persevered and slowly began to build up his business. By 2004, Tirupati Oil had become one of the leading brands of vegetable oil in India.
The secret to Nilesh's success was his dedication to hard work and leadership. He was always looking for ways to improve his business and make a difference in the lives of his employees and customers. For example, when he noticed that many of his employees were struggling to send their children to school because they couldn't afford the tuition fees, he set up a scholarship fund so that they could get an education. He also implemented fair pricing practices so that his customers could afford to buy his products.
Tumblr media
Conclusion:
Nilesh Patel is a perfect example of what it means to be a leader. He didn't let his humble beginnings stop him from achieving his dreams, and he didn't let success go to his head either. Instead, he used his platform to help others and make a positive impact on the world around him. We can all learn from Nilesh's example and strive to be leaders in our own way. Thank you for reading!

Pup, u and symp-honey are amazing 💖 fr it can feel so discouraging when it feels like no one is reading/interacting with ur(or my) fic, but at the end of the day if the writer feels like we have written the story we wanted to tell that is the true sign of success (imo)...not to say we shouldn't want an audience, clearly we do, but i think we are about on the same page in wanting an audience who is/are attracted to our tastes more than us wanting to figure out what others' tastes are. n the drawback there is that not everyone is going to gravitate towards that right away and we just have to...hope that we'll build up an audience while assuring ourselves we should keep writing. it's like what you said with the Bojack Horseman thing, that's the hard part, just doing what you do everyday to improve, not for attention but for u
and fr!!!! it makes no sense what fics will take off and which wont, i just accepted that i wont chase trends or what others are wanting. if a fic is read and shared by a lot of ppl wow rly cool!, if it doesn't...i just have to accept it. ofc i'll keep being proud of it and part of me will always hope that it will take off and be appreciated in the ways i feel like it should be, but i try rly hard not to let my writing blog influence my moods too much
it will always be the fics u give so much into (esp smut/romance free ones) that have little to no audience, but it's rly something that ur mermaid yuta fic is the one ur proudest of. be proud of ur work and keep it up! just becuz it's not "popular" doesn't mean it's not good. it's amazing!
of course none of this isn't to say you shouldn't want an audience ofc. that's my big problem with the "write for you" sentiment, bc if you were really writing for you, you wouldn't be posting it. and if you didn't want a certain level of feedback and interaction, you'd be posting on a different platform. but you're 100% right chasing trends and trying to cater to the tastes of the masses is kinda fruitless. idk what patterns you notice with your work personally, but with mine, i always notice that the less effort i put in and the less i personally care about what i post, the more popular it gets, and that just leaves me feeling unsatisfied and empty at the end of the day. this is a hobby that should be fun and enjoyable for you to do, so as long as you're happy with what you do, that's what counts. as long as you enjoy the process of writing, that's what counts. that's why i'm reiterating to hold onto the feeling of freedom and joy when you write something you like. that shit is precious, and that's what sticks with you at the end of the day.
as far as writing influence your moods, again that's a practice not a perfect. ofc we're gonna have days where it does influence your mood, and that's ok. it's also ok to voice that. it sounds like you're taking steps in the right direction in terms of actively trying not to let it effect you, and that's commendable, bc it easily can. just know that even when it does, it's ok and you're still valid in your feelings. this shit is thankless af most of the time, especially when tumblr keeps making changes that make it harder for us out here 🤧
