someone in a discord server asked the members how many animes theyve watched, so here is a copy-paste of my answer that will act as a small update/summary of my project
i have watched every* anime up to 1985 plus some of 1986 and whatever i watched before i started this project of watching every anime in chronological order which i will know the exact count of once i get to them in The List**
*every anime that is available to me to watch and has all episodes uploaded, including movies; incomplete anime are bookmarked on a separate list
**The List: the anime site i am currently using, sorted by release date. i will expand to others eventually to make sure i see as much as possible

Movies 227 (50 minutes or more)

A: yes, every anime available. im not going to enjoy most of this, the ones i do enjoy are a bonus. please dont be like me. however i will say i probably wont watch every h/ntai just whatever you can find on standard anime sites. we'll see

I went to a weekend painting thing (48 hours to make a project) with a friend for the third time. This is the first time I hadn't put together the mini before the event and also the first time I did a backdrop, and I'm super proud of how it turned out! So I decided to show y'all!
I was inspired by the painting Moby Dick by Gérard DuBois. A great aspect of Warhammer 40k is how huge things get, so I really wanted to get across a real big boi Tyranid coming to cobble up a world.

its kinda funny how much I stressed myself out abt starting meds when day 1 they've literally had no effect whatsoever
#no side effects but no positive effects either. ik it can take a little while to start seeing any benefit tho + this is the lowest dose#but my week 2 course is twice the dose so we'll see next week if that changes anything#i do have a bit of throat tightness/soreness but idk if thats related to this or if im just coming down with a cold bc-#my throats been a little tight and hoarse the last week anyway 🤷♂️#plus i had a spicy soup for lunch + im sensitive + get acid reflux easily so it might just be that. we'll see how tomorrow fares..#.diaries#its probably good to update on tumblr tbh bc i can just look back thru my diaries tag when i have to fill out the form on thurs#i wont remember to write down side effects or whatever otherwise#anyyyway. dinnertime

OK so I have an inkling of an idea for a trigun ficlet. A one-shot, really. Not really any plot, but I just have the urge to write my own interpretation of Weird Plant Shit. Like for how much ppl tag this stuff as xeno, most of it's honestly pretty tame. Which kinda makes sense, considering a lot of this is being based off of the plants in stampede, which While uncanny are not NEARLY the amount of inherent horror of the plants in the manga. There's some FREAKY shit going on there. So like. You know. What if I took more inspiration from That for Vash's freaky shit?

i was supposed to see Candide in Wichita tonight. And there have been tornadoes across the Midwest this weekend, and I chose to cancel rather than travel in them. There is a state of emergency and Wichita news sources say only drive if you have to. So I am INCREDULOUS that they didn't cancel and reschedule, and just sad because I don't know when I'll next have the chance to see Candide.

the fights of round 1a have ended, so its time to list the winners along with who they will be fighting in round 1b!
Just Got Paid, Let's Get Laid by Millionaires won their round, and will be matched up against So Much (For) Stardust by Fall Out Boy!

#Stage fright do be frightening#It was such a good interview too#I couldn't have asked for that interview to go any better than it did other than if he offered me the job at the end#Just wasn't enough sadly#Even though it's been like 4 days since the rejection message#I wrote a very friendly and polite email though so hopefully I'll get a nice response back#I think I really was very close to getting the job but we'll have to see#I always forget that interviews aren't usually a one and done kinda thing#That you really want them to ask you to interview again#I just get so nervous#Like how could I top what I already put my all into#Beeg sigh#I'll just have to keep an eye out for any other job openings at that facility#Or pray that the not so great interview I did for the other job was good enough#I'm sending that interviewer an email tomorrow morning as well#Hoping some extra info will beef up my candidacy for the job#Or at least remind him that I exist and am willing to put my all into whatever job I manage to land#Getting down to the wire now#If every job I apply for takes 2 weeks just to give me even a vague idea of how well I'm faring then I'm fucked#There's less than a month left in this program and I have to have a job squared away before it ends#Or they'll try to shove me in whatever role is available#I can always go back home but that's quitter talk and also might get me blacklisted in the industry#Plus I'd have to payback the bonus which wouldn't be so bad if it was 1 for 1 but it was taxed so damn heavily#That I'd be out like 800 bucks ugh#Oh the anxiety

1. What fic of yours would you recommend to someone who had never read any of your work? (In other words, what do you think is the best introduction to your fics?)
My instinct is I'll Stand Here With You, because it was the first fic of mine that got a lot of response and still has the most kudos out of anything I've written! It's also soft and feelsy which is still a pretty good indicator of what I like to write. I wrote that over a year ago, though... If I had to pick something more recent, I might say We'll Build a Den Out of Pillows (And Get Drunk Again) for the somfts and the inspiration from TAD or Home for the feels!
7. Any worldbuilding you’re particularly proud of?
I answered this here, but forgot to mention that I also have worldbuilding for fics that are as-of-yet unpublished! About a year ago I did a lot of worldbuilding for a mer!Jaskier fic which was never finished but which I'm still fond of, and I have a few other ideas floating around (soulmate AUs, a winged!Jaskier AU, etc) that would be very fun to worldbuild. So I suppose the answer is "as of now, only sort of, but hopefully more will come soon!"
49. What are you currently working on? Share a few lines if you’re up for it!
I have a few things in the works that I hope to finish in time for some of next week's What About The Bard prompts!
Here's one from a 5+1:
Yennefer looked around. The small tent was very, very cramped. There was no way they were all going to be able to lay out their bedrolls.
Jaskier frowned, seeming to have come to the same conclusion. “Hold on. Where do we sleep?”
There was silence for a few long moments as everyone looked around them with expressions ranging from annoyance (Yennefer) to constipation (Geralt) to thoughtfulness (Jaskier). Ciri was the first one to speak.
“I guess we’ll just have to cuddle,” she said.

And here's a bit from a shorter one:
“Geralt,” Jaskier begins haltingly, “What—”
He is cut off by a gasp when Geralt leans down and slowly, gently brushes his lips against the back of Jaskier’s fingers in the faintest of kisses.
“What are you doing?” whispers Jaskier.
“Kissing them better,” says Geralt, as though it’s obvious.
Jaskier gapes at him, speechless for what may be the first time in years.
“It was Ciri’s idea,” says Geralt. “I thought I might try it. Unless you mind?”
“It’s fine,” squeaked Jaskier.
