The best part in the first Ghost Files is Ryan saying he hates this and he's not sure he's going to be able to do the solo exploration, and Shane just responding, "Well, unfortunately you're gonna have to, because this is your fucking job."

imagine being timmy’s ghost though. like you’re just chilling and suddenly a giant white man comes barreling through the halls with six or seven cameras strapped to him, screaming at you to play with him. those footsteps shane heard were probably timmy’s ghost getting the fuck out of there.

Waverly Hills Shadow Child
With its growing reputation for paranormal activity, Waverly Hills Sanatorium is often called the ‘Most Haunted Hospital’ in America. Known hauntings include the apparitions of a young boy named Timmy who likes to play with rubber balls. The nurse who hanged herself is said to still haunt room 502, as is another nurse who fell from the same room’s window, and scattered screams and mysterious footsteps can regularly be heard echoing down the now abandoned hallways.
This photograph was taken during a tour of the sanatorium in 2014. The photographer claims there were no children in the building at the time it was taken, and that this chilling picture was snapped at random on her phone. Is this a sighting of young Timmy or another lost soul confined forever more within Waverly Hills walls?

I had mentioned that there’s only one paranormal investigation show I believe 100%, and I had planned to follow up on that thought. And did not! It’s Ghost Files, and its predecessor Buzzfeed Unsolved Supernatural. It’s whatever Ryan and Shane are out there doing. I truly believe Shane would not stand for fakery; he sits on the show and says “I don’t believe in any of this, this is bullshit” as it is. None of the spirit box conversations conveniently fit any narratives, for example, which is an “……..eh” I have with a lot of shows, and they don’t ignore five nonsense words on the ovilus to point out the one that’s so totally relevant.
Occasionally there is something just weird enough to invoke the Great What If; the humming in this one is a good example of that.

The night vision solo investigations make my mum laugh because the head mounted cameras always make Shane and Ryan look like Miis when you pick them up
Head: Keep completely still
Body: It’s wiggle time!

The only real flex that Kentuckians have is that Ryan and Shane have come here more than once. That’s it. That’s the flex. That’s the only thing we have going for us besides alcohol.
