Do not get confused.” Voldemort hissed at him. And well- Harry could see how he could be the greatest threat. Looming over him with the dark robes pooled around the wizard- darker than the shadows trailing his ankles- and the scarlet madness shining down, Voldemort was a nightmare in itself. But- Harry stepped closer to the nightmare, away from the shadows. “Not to me, you are not.” He looked up and held the stare of the wizard. For a moment he thought that the darkness around him swelled, but he carried on bravely- or foolishly- “Whether you like it or not, that is the truth.” What will the man do? Flay him for his impudence? Show him how terrible he could be? But Harry knew it all already. The man had proven it all already. At the same time, to him -even as dense as he was- all those snarls had rung of denial. Not that his heart was not scrambling right now, standing in front of the Dark Lord and accusing him of being not as bad as he could be- an invitation to everything awful surely- with his hands quietly fastened to his sleeve, Harry didn’t tremble. And the mad wizard tilted his head and said in quite murmur, “Is that so?”

I remember a tomarry fanfic where harry time traveled back to tom's time (I think he was a slytherin with him) and tom starts getting suspicious of him and eventually comes to wrong conclusion that harry is his soulmate bc he speaks parseltongue and bc of harry's horcrux. i remember tom traps harry in some sort of ritual circle ? and talks to him about how he's his soulmate

So he did what he did best, he went looking for trouble. And he found it. Tom Riddle should be in Albania, and Harry's determined to find out why before anyone else dies. Even if he has to marry him to do it.

The tiny voice reverberated around the dark cave Voldemort had just marched into. The blood-warded entrance had already closed, letting nothing but him and his army of inferi. Then, where was this other presence come from?!

Lord Voldemort wouldn’t let anything tar his purpose, not here, in the dark crevice of childhood memories that no one else could know. Not now, with the Locket of Slytherin in his pocket, already heavy with a precious sliver of his soul.

Homenum Revelio.

He relaxed only fractionally when the spell returned negative. No sense of human presence, what other creature crept inside, when all the other entrances were strictly monitored by his dark magic?

The inferi shuffled forward per his command, loosened their stiff postures from where they had frozen, to step in to the infernal waters of the little cave-
