⚔️ 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺! Staff of the Eclipse
Staff, very rare (requires attunement by a druid, sorcerer, warlock, or wizard) ___ This staff has a crescent-shaped head made of pockmarked lunar stone. Floating within the crescent stone is a motionless, black orb. Regardless of how you look at the orb, it’s always encircled by a ring of fire that faces you. The fire winks out if the staff isn’t held. The fire is harmless, and it sheds bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet. While holding the staff, you have darkvision out to a range of 60 feet. If you already have darkvision, holding the staff increases its range by 60 feet. The staff has 10 charges. It regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dusk. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the staff crumbles into dust and is destroyed. 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙨. While holding the staff, you can use an action to expend some of its charges to cast either the “moonbeam” (2 charges) or “wall of fire” (4 charges) spell, using your spell save DC. This version of “wall of fire” creates the same ghostly flames as “moonbeam”; it deals radiant damage instead of fire damage and doesn’t ignite flammable objects, although it doesn’t share “moonbeam’s” other effects. You can increase the spell slot level of a spell cast from the staff by one for each additional charge you expend. 𝘽𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙈𝙤𝙤𝙣. When you cast “moonbeam” from the staff, you can choose to cause its dim light to be red. A creature that fails the saving throw against the spell also has its hit point maximum reduced by an amount equal to the radiant damage dealt. The reduction lasts until the creature finishes a long rest. Once this property of the staff has been used, it can’t be used again until the next dawn. 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙁𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙚. When you cast “wall of fire” from the staff, you can choose to cause it to embody the nature of an eclipse. When you do, the spell creates a ringed wall up to 20 feet in diameter, 20 feet high, and 1 foot thick; the area within the ring is filled with magical darkness until the spell ends. While holding the staff, you can see through this darkness as if... ...Continued in the comment below! ___ ✨ Patrons get huge perks! Darkness Falls
Recently Lucéena got a bit of a rejuvenation in the form of dying. Yea I know how that sounds, let me explain. Looong story under the cut
After some adventures, the party had been given a week’s worth of free time to do a bit of shopping and get some much needed rest. So we all split up. We all had errands we wanted to run, including Lucéena. At first she’d gone shopping you know, nothing exciting. But then she decided to go back to the Shadowfell portal we’d discovered earlier in the campaign, and after a bit more deliberation, she decided to jump through alone. Not the smartest move on her end lmao.
Quick little recap, the last time the party had been in the Shadowfell was when we’d been hired to steal two magical simulacrum (that weirdly looked like our warlock of the party) from the Queen of Shadows, accidentally drove her insane in the process, and left with guards on our tails. We’d also learned the realm was suffering from a curse that was turning it’s inhabitants into stone and Lucéena had also met her biological dad in the castle. While her feelings on him are… mixed at best she was still concerned enough about his well being that she wanted to check in on him. Time doesn’t run at the same rate between realms. Every hour in the Shadowfell is roughly 4 in the material plane and the party kind of had their hands full with other things. We haven’t had the chance to return since we made that huge mess and time in the Shadowfell was juuuust starting to reach a point where Lucéena was concerned with what was happening. She though this bit of down time would be the perfect opportunity to go in, send a messenger to him and leave without going to the most dangerous parts of the Shadowfell or endangering/inconveniencing her friends.
Unfortunately… she hadn’t predicted the Shadowfell queen to be waiting on the other end with warriors by her side. After a brief exchange of words combat started and it became painfully obvious Lucéena was outnumbered and outclassed. She was chased up the tower this side of the portal was housed within and after fucking up her attempt to hide, the queen found her and used command to make her fall out of the highest window, straight to her death.
Cutting back to the material plane, the others had realized Lucéena was missing and after sending spells not going through and asking for guidance from a powerful wizard friend, they eventual did figure out where she’d gone.
Once through the portal they saw signs of a struggle but no one was around. They eventually climbed all the way up the tower and then looked out the same window Lucéena had fallen out of and saw her laying there, dead. They quickly ran to her, but by now it was long past due for a typical revivification to work. And then just as they were beginning to discuss next steps, the queen showed up and she started puppetting her body into fighting them D:
While this was happening the dm and I had an aside and to help the part out we’d agreed that I’d come back as my last campaign’s character: my stupid beloved cleric/ranger, Zachriel. I’m not sure how helpful it was, but it was fun interacting with everyone as the dumb guy they got to play with before! After the queen was defeated I even had the weird opportunity to try and resurrect my own character with raise dead! Only it didn’t work.
There was a presence blocking the magic. One that was celestial in nature. That was all Zachriel was able to tell about it and Eclipse, our main cleric, was all out of spells. At this point, our warlock Fenix pulled himself aside, and reached out to his patron. He ask them to heal her, to “put her back” and he would pay any price. His patron heard him. Upon that request, Fenix cast true resurrection on Lucéena and disappeared in a flash of white-hot light…
…and Lucéena opens her eyes. Both of them. As part of true resurrection, the target of the spell receives outstanding rejuvenation. Any missing limbs/organs are restored and any disease present at the time of their death is cured. So upon the spell being cast Lucéena’s scarring was healed and her damaged eye was replaced with an orange-pupiled one, just like Fenix’s.
Fenix’s spell not only brought back Lucéena. All of the people that had been turned to stone were bright back as well! We could hear people down the halls, confused, wanting to know what was going on. And for the first ever time in the Shadowfell we could hear a full city of people outside.

What classes do you think Miguel would pick for himself in different ttrpgs? (I'm mainly familiar with DnD so I don't know the name for 'class' in most of the others, but I think most of them have an archetype system). Either way this is an excuse for you to talk about it more, if you like, because I think it's a fun concept
Firstly anon I love you (platonic)
Miguel is the type of guy who could make a pc that is really smart and actually back it up with good ideas he thought of himself. I think in DnD he would play a warlock :] Probably wants to play a fun cool race but settles with half-elf for his first character.
In VtM I think he would have fun with a Brujah. Not that he himself is a Brujah, but I just think he would have a good time and make one cuz it would be fun to roleplay one. I also just think he would like their Disciplines. In Werewolf I think he'd play a Glass Walker Philodox. That one is mostly me and him making a joke since he's from the Future and Glass Walker's patron is a Spider.
I do not think he would like Cyberpunk on it's own but I think he would like Shadowrun. He would find magic in the future setting really cool and play a mage. Depends because I think he would like both a support or combat role. But definitely a mage and wants to see the astral plane. Also I'm inviting his brother to this cuz Gabriel is my best friend and I KNOW he would love to play a Technomancer.
And then we can read Eclipse Phase together cuz I'm still learning how to play that one

Made some adjustments to Tavs and guardians, discussing below.
First, a disclaimer: these aren't actually all of my Tavs lol. I have a male human fighter named Murad too, who looks like this:
Tumblr media
and I plan to have him romance Minthara/betray all tieflings without being Dark Urge. But I don't remember his guardian and haven't settled on story/psychology beyond having been a soldier. I'm also still mulling over if I want to do a lady bard to pair with Karlach and what she might look like.
Top to bottom, the design ideas are basically as follows.
Anat, a Mephistopheles tiefling Great Old One warlock. Patron is Hadar. Design is cold and wet but carries vitality. Evokes both the sea and the stars. Avoided hyper-saturated colors for cast coherence and because I also wanted to visually mesh with Gale for pairings. Water/wind motifs in that pairing. Guardian meant to evoke heroic figures who have been lost as per backstory. Hot, dry, and barren visually--eyes evoke the sun a bit with yellows and reds. Contrast a living and close sun with distant stars for him versus Anat. Similar use of faded browns in design to create a mirroring effect. Relationship between Anat and the guardian should be two heroic figures who are similar in many ways but are opposites in others. Note that whether the ocean or a desert, not a lot of freshwater for either when that's necessary to survive.
Cassian, half-high elf and cleric of Selune. Wanted to evoke red elves conceptually and lunar eclipses/blood moons. Figured it'd be fun to evoke an impure/ominous aspect of the moon in contrast to what is usually associated with Selunites. Cassian specifically is noble-born and was raised in faith. That strain of worship was fairly sterilized though, mainly used as a tool to claim moral superiority--his elven mother being particularly egregious about it. Cassian was left disillusioned and Selune took note. He began to receive dreams of the Dark Moon heresy. Wanting answers, Cassian left the comforts and privileges of his position behind to learn more. It is years into this mission that he gets abducted by mindflayers. His guardian reflects how he perceives his own goddess. I'm planning to pair him with Shadowheart, with her being mainly black and white motifs versus Cassian leaning more toward red and white.
Uzal, another Mephistopheles tiefling--born a draconic sorcerer (white) but primarily a cleric of Ilmater. This is my Dark Urge run lol. I didn't want to go full white dragonborn but did want to pay homage to that with a more humanoid option. I figure the Bhaal connection also fits with some of the odd blood combinations here. My initial plan was to make the Guardian a white dragonborn with the default design, but this is beyond the game's abilities so I made an ominous red version of Uzal instead. There are probably some self-image issues there lol. I plan to pair Uzal with Astarion but with less focus on the Dark Urge by itself, more on the angle that this Dark Urge has been chosen by Ilmater. Uzal is basically Patrick Bateman from American Psycho but is doing his best to become a man of god now. He's an inverse of Anat too in that she's mainly good aligned with an elder evil patron while Uzal is mainly evil aligned with a good deity supervising. In terms of visual connections for pairings, I originally knew I wanted to make a white draconic sorcerer tiefling Dark Urge and that I wanted to pair Astarion with a cleric of Ilmater--but it was feeling like more alts than necessary even for me. Crossed my mind that for the themes and story stuff I had in-mind it'd be more efficient to just combine two concepts. Works out though--Astarion has white/red visuals against Uzal with white/blue visuals. Overall similarity makes the accent colors stand out more.
Behati, a Zariel tiefling fiend-pact warlock. Patron is either Zariel or a devil in Zariel's service. I've done a lot of fiddling with her in terms of design to visually stand out against Karlach while linking to Wyll and creating visual consistency with the Zariel tiefling subtype in character creator. I also never use orange so it was a step out of my comfort zone there lol. I wanted to set Behati up specifically to pair with Wyll in a way that would challenge him as a character somewhat. Knowing Wyll is selfless perhaps to a fault, I decided Behati would be a very selfish person initially. She's a charlatan and a cheat (embracing what people expect tieflings to be and trying to do it far better than expected) compared to Wyll trying to make himself into the Blade of Frontiers as a heroic figure. She embraces her warlock pact while Wyll wants to escape his own. When Wyll is transformed and feels upset about the changes, Behati has had to embrace her own fiendish features because there was never any getting rid of them. I like the idea that at her core, Behati is actually a better person who does care more about others than she likes to admit. Contrast with Wyll suppressing his own personal needs and justified anger/grief on his own behalf. I don't think Behati would go so far as betraying the tieflings, but do think she makes some morally questionable choices at times. Behati's guardian I think on the one hand reflects Behati having an aspirational concept of fiendish beauty (like a tropical flower here), but also--that purple has mindflayer undertones.
Tarmyr, half-drow necromancer. I haven't worked all the details out about this guy tbh and as a note, I'm trying to explain my intentions for him without spoiling buddies who haven't finished the game. I plan to pair him with the Emperor and am going to shape his choices accordingly. Tarmyr probably has weird complexes about control--over the dead via necromancy and the living with psionics. He probably went through some terrible shit to cause that. His guardian is modeled off of Balduran as best I could manage. I can say with Tarmyr's design, I wanted him to be very desaturated but with vibrant eyes. Mostly blue, a bit of violet at the center.
Kodos, a githyanki monk. Planning to pair him with Lae'zel. I've been trying to sort out what kind of character he is and I think he's specifically a negotiator. If knowing your enemy is a useful tactic, it's his job to evaluate and utilize both githyanki and non-githyanki to the greatest advantage possible through manipulation. He'd be a monk specifically because during negotiations it's sometimes expected for emissaries to disarm. This can be exploited by those approaching in bad faith. As a monk, he'll never have cause for concern. I think Kodos privately has theories about whether eusocial, presocial, subsocial, etc. forms of interaction are the most efficient. He believes Vlaakith is trying to mold githyanki into a kind of hive society, but in such situations an isolated member fares poorly. Moreover, whether such a society could be called free anymore is uncertain. It reminds him a lot of elder brains and mindflayers but to express as much would practically be treason. His guardian is a githyanki with a few features reminiscent of mindflayers, as per his own private concerns but with further subtext regarding how the guardian means to approach him. I wanted Kodos to have features common to Githyanki/not to stand out too much, but to also look visually coherent with Lae'zel. I also didn't want the green body spots to clash honestly lol, since those aren't changeable. Thematically I wanted to make a githyanki character who offers another way of seeing things to Lae'zel while still being firmly rooted in a githyanki background.

Campaign Recap: Session 0
Joe and Sxaxha made their way from their respective homes to Central City, where they’d heard the Witchlight Carnival was going to set up sometime soon.
Joe hitched a ride with Ellywick Tumblestrum, who was there specifically for her, traveling from the Solan City of Eclipses to Central. Along the way, Ellywick saw her without her disguise, but treated her with the same kind, fun-loving demeanor. They shared stories and played music along the way. When they got to the city, Ellywick told Joe she’d find a way to get her a ticket to the Carnival, though its wouldn’t open until tomorrow. She then took her to the Golden Grotto Farm, where she promised a friend would be able to keep her until then.
Sxaxha discovered his knack for burrowing underground, and used that to sneak through the shortcut tunnels used to deliver ore and metals to the rest of the world. Pierwhit, a faerie-dragon familiar, ended up having to follow him the whole way after just barely missing him in Terramine. When they made it to the city, Sxaxha finally noticed that he was being followed and, intrigued by the faerie-dragon, agreed to be led to the Golden Grotto farm with the promise that it would help him regain his smile.
This is where Joe and Sxaxha met, after Joe spent some time being unable to see him thanks to his stealth. It was revealed that they were both brought here for a specific reason, to help one Madryk Roslof with a task. Joe vaguely recognized the name, Sxaxha did not. While Joe is more than ready to go inside and hear Madryk’s request, Sxaxha doesn’t trust this situation, prompting Pierwhit to fetch Madryk and bring him to the front gate to talk.
Joe managed to quickly win Sxaxha over with her penchant for rambling and her fun personality. He thinks she is incredibly funny and likes her already.
Sxaxha intimidates Joe. She is unable to tell when he is in a good mood versus when he’s genuinely unhappy with something. But she views them as friends.
Madryk shows up and watches the conversation until there’s a natural lull. Here, he relays his request: help him find his Warlock patron, the archfey Zybilna. As his magic is tied directly to her, and he’s getting along in age, it is rather unlikely that he would succeed should he try to undertake the task himself. He says that if they follow the path to finding her, they will find the people responsible for their respective curses. He also reveals that he knows exactly who the two of them are. He’s friends with Joe’s parents and has spoken with Fevni.
Upon Madryk’s request, Joe and Sxaxa follow him inside the house, where they both can tell that he is very well-off. Joe is taken in by the largest painting in the room: one of  a gorgeous Wood Elf named Valissa Goldenbow. He tells her that Valissa was his wife, and that even though she is gone, she left him with a wonderful gift. Sxaxha understands this to mean a child.
Madryk talks more about Zybilna and points out her painting. Upon seeing it, both Joe and Sxaxha recall a memory of her where she provided some comfort during hard times. For Joe, she brought a plethora of books and smiled at her through the window. For Sxaxha, she gave him a cupcake and promised that he’d find his joy again, even if he couldn’t show it. Both of these memories are fleeting, but provide a sense of comfort.
Sxaxha demands proof that this set-up isn’t a trap. Madryk can’t offer any, but offers Iora as collateral instead, since he intends to send them along anyway and he knows his own intentions are pure, guaranteeing their safety. He says they can heal, which will keep them alive. Sxaxha agrees to this deal, but says that he would like to meet Iora first before fully accepting. The last thing he wants to do is travel with another stranger. He does offer a kindness to Madryk by offering to get him something before he goes, though.
Joe, overwhelmed by all the information she’s been given, goes out for a walk-and-talk with Bricker-Brak. She leaves a feather on her chair, which Sxaxha notices. While on this while, she comes across Iora, who’d just smashed a pumpkin to paste with their hammer. Bricker-Brak wheezes, making Iora laugh despite themself. This is the scene Sxaxha comes upon.
With the three finally converged, Joe suggest doing ice-breakers. Sxaxha asks Iora’s intentions. They answer honestly and say that they want to find Zybilna and get home as quickly as possible. Iora asks Joe’s and Sxaxha’s intentions. Joe wants something to eat. Sxaxha wants to get into the Carnival and take care of his business. Iora accepts these answers and prompts Joe to ask her ice-breaker question.
After a tangent, Joe asks what Iora’s and Sxaxha’s biggest regrets would be if they died right then. Upon seeing the looks on their faces, she wonders if she should’ve asked for favorite colors instead. Iora answers yellow. Sxaxha answers purple. Joe says she loves all colors.
After some more conversation, the three of them decide to get snake-on-a-stick together. Joe runs off to recast Disguise Self. She also goes through everything with Bricker-Brak and asks if she’s over her head. He reassures her that she can do this. Meanwhile, Iora ran off to check with Madryk and, seeing how Sxaxha and Joe kept making them laugh, grab their cloak so they can hide their face.
The three find a popular cart run by Goldenscale and Goregut: a talkative, exuberant dragonborn with a love for loud cheer and his quiet but just as excitable wife who cooks all the food. Joe, after screaming at the top of her lungs, earns a discount and orders the best thing on the house along with a bag of bugs. That earns her three huge hunks of anaconda.
The three new ‘friends’ sit down and dig in. Joe pulls out utensils and starts eating like the delicate elf she is, while Sxaxha pulls from his dragon instincts and horks his portion down. Iora borrows a fork and pulls apart theirs with their fingers. Once Joe loses all delicate sensibilities, though, they swiftly join and eat like a messy dragon too. The three of them talk, have a good time, and share the bag of bugs, finding amusement in Joe eating a giant millipede and becoming slightly paralyzed in the mouth. Afterwards, they head out for candied apples.

could you do a character palette for me? im playing a character who's a child of druids, but after being the downfall of their village, they unknowingly became a great old one warlock. they're a little awkward and naive, but headstrong and steadfast. their patron regularly appears before them, taking the form of a wolf spirit. and while they regard their patron as an old friend, said patron is only using them.

Positions within the Taker’s Grove:
Grovemother
A person - not necessarily always female - that takes on a sub-parental role to younger or new members of the Archfey’s extended family. They help new members integrate into the larger population of the Grove, and care for children who still need a caretaker until such time as they are old enough to care for themselves.
Tome Keeper
A person rather akin to a librarian who staffs and maintains the physical collection of knowledge in the Grove, known as the Rings of Knowledge. Some prefer to stay in the Feywild, checking out books and tomes to their siblings or passers-by who have passed the reigning Archfey’s test, and others prefer to wander through other realms in search of new materials to add to the collection.
Stone Keeper
A person who maintains the section of the Rings of Knowledge’s collection that is comprised of Vesnali crystals. They keep the crystals organized and safely stored out of reach of little hands (as these crystals contain the often traumatizing memories of Lost Ones who chose to preserve them before their passing), and are in charge of sourcing empty crystals to keep a supply on hand.
The Watchers
A group within the Lost Ones themselves who chose to be responsible for the safety and security of the Grove. They stand guard on both sides of the permanent portals connecting the Grove to other planes, and keep an ear to the ground for anyone trying to seek out the Archfey himself for power or knowledge. They also act as chaperones for young wards and warlocks leaving the Grove for the first time when they come of age, or for those who just want to make sure they reach their destination safely.
Warlock
A person or creature that either found or was approached by the Taker of the Lost, and offered sanctuary within the Grove. They all traded something - a skill, an heirloom, a soul - for arcane power or knowledge, and tend to come and go from the Grove. They tend to leave the Grove for long periods of time to travel, knowing they are kept safe by their Patron's power.
Ward
A person or creature that either found or was approached by the Taker of the Lost, and offered sanctuary within the Grove. They have not traded anything for arcane power or knowledge, and tend to be content with simply living safe, stable lives among their fellow Lost Ones.
The Favored
A person or creature who has formed a close bond with the Taker of the Lost. They are usually - but not always - a warlock, and their calls for aid are often answered directly by the Archfey himself, rather than by an astral projection of him.
The Shades of the Lost
A secretive group within the Lost Ones themselves who have spend their lives training to master the martial and arcane arts in direct response to the threat posed by the Void Tree. They are aware of the dangers and risks involved with battling an otherworldly deity plant, and have taken an oath to defend the Feywild, Material, or any other plane from the Void Tree’s endless hunger. They are typically of longer-lived races, and occasionally powerful, sentient monsters. Their existence is a tightly-kept secret even among the other Lost Ones, and is typically only revealed when a new member is to be inducted.
Members of the Shades of the Lost include:
Ialxaqsere - Beholder
Pr0t0-687 “Protosix” - Warforged
Rileari - Drow
Relthen, the Silver Eclipse - Silver Dragon
Voronwe - Elf
Miravera Mooneye - Minotaur/Auroch
Gloop - Awakened Gelatinous Cube

So from Imogen’s research, there’s supposedly been an increase in people dreaming about a red storm as the celestial solstice draws near.  The celestial solstice is a time when the barrier between planes grows thinnest, and often leads to major historical events.  Vecna himself used the power of a celestial solstice to expand his power the first time.  They also occur on a roughly 30 years cycle.
According to CR wiki, Raishan originally planned to free Thordak on a celestial solstice, but accelerated her plans to Winter’s Crest.  Nevertheless, we can assume that there was a solstice due to happen near that time, maybe within a couple years at most, given how many pieces of their plan were already in place when Raishan decided to break Thordak out early.  That was about 30 years before Campaign 3 - according to the official timeline, the Chroma Conclave arc takes place in 811 PD and Campaign 3 starts in 842 PD.
Another fun fact about celestial solstices - one solstice resulted in an elemental sundering, where elemental rifts burst open across Exandria and brought terrible earthquakes, fires, and elemental monsters.  This sundering was what led to the Ashari splitting into four tribes to seal and guard the elemental rifts.  A couple years ago, there was an attack on the Air Ashari by mysterious powerful assassins which, while a failure, was believed to target the Voice of the Tempest.  Additionally, during EXU, just a few months before Campaign 3 starts, as the Crown Keepers are visiting the Fire Ashari and discussing the increasing dangers coming out of Thordak’s crater, there’s a massive earthquake and a massive new mesa -the Oh No Plateau- forms.
According to the Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount, some people believe that rare double eclipses with Catha and Ruidus cause a calamitous intersection between the Material Plane and other planes, and there was that potential thread in Campaign 2 that ultimately the Mighty Nein didn’t end up tugging on about Exandria’s moons.  There’s also been an increasing amount of fey activity in Exandria over the past few decades - Artagan, Fearne, the Nightmare King, etc.
So as a potential celestial solstice approaches, we have:
Increasing activity along the elemental rifts formed by a previous solstice;
Attacks against the Ashari who guard said elemental rifts;
In what may be the perfect unintentional setup for accidental symbolism later on, “Big moon, little moon,” Will being one of the Ashari killed and Orym - the little moon, Ruidus, difficult to see but viewed as an ill omen;
Imogen dreaming of red storms;
Increased interaction between the Feywild and the Material Plane, including Fearne herself;
Historical precedent for Vecna/powerful mages harnessing the power of celestial solstices + Delilah Briarwood, known servant of Vecna and powerful mage herself who famously “broke the world” for Silas, in Laudna’s head as her warlock patron.
Thoughts: At least one, if not more, parties out there are going to try and harness an impending celestial solstice for their own purposes, and that’s not even factoring in the potential devastation that occurs naturally when the planes intersect.  What are the chances that Matt’s setting up Calamity 2: Electric Boogaloo?

So I thought I should add some context for anyone who doesn’t know these characters already! Might help some of these drabbles make more sense!!
Context:
Kaylaster (MotW): Kayla Rhodes and Aster Beauchamp
Kayla (she/her) is an Initiate in the Order of Sen-Set, 23 from New Zealand. Adopted by Sam and Karina Rhodes when she was 6, she was trained by her mother to be a Striker of the Roh clastic Py. After their passing, Kayla becomes ordained and is eventually assigned to Vil Bliye, Louisiana, where she moves at 21.
Aster (they/occasional she) is the head of the Vil Bliye chapter beneath the library. At 27, they are extraordinarily young for the position and an extremely talented Adder of the Roh clastic Hyd.
Swordsong: Samarine Toulha and Koenig Skroos
Sam (she/her) is a bard of some level lol, 25ish likely, half-elf, who played in a bar called The Tattered Nancy when she met Skroos and got swept up in a gang war more or less.
Skroos (he/him/they) is a Samurai5/Barb3, 29 y/o human dipshit who’s been struggling his whole life to progress past the voices of ancestral ghosts in his head, to limited success. He’s lived a long life already, and even had a few year stint as a pirate (technically speaking lol), but now loves cooking, and fights hard when he has to.
Happily Buried: Gormley and Mychelia Molster (formerly Gormchelia)
Gormley (he/him) is (was) a Celestial Warlock 9, 36 (66) y/o fallen Aasimar, who had died in a plague along with his town and wife, only to be resurrected 30 years later to hunt for an item for a celestial patron of the Lunari, Belas. (Same universe as Athrun/Ophelia).
Mychelia (she/her) is also a Celestial Warlock (likely 11?), 37 (67) y/o orange Tiefling, who died in Eigle right beside her husband, and was also resurrected, only she was brought back 6 months before Gormley, and she has no memories of her life before resurrection.
Snowfox: Omi Pel’Diaga and Kara Crystok
Omi (she/her) is a Moon Druid 8, who’s a 19 y/o half-elf from the small town of Dublet. She began training in natural magic under Vilde Moag in order to transition, and dated Kara from 16 until their breakup when she was 19. This prompted her departure from the town and into the world.
Kara (she/her) is a human, 19 y/o, and the daughter of Dublet’s mayor. She has ambitions to be the mayor herself one day, and broke Omi’s heart deliberately to get her out of the toxic environment that Dublet had created around her. Not a good person, at all. But very much in love with Omi while they dated
Eclipse: Imogen Stramberg and Morgan Arbore
Gen (she/her) is a Light Cleric 5, 24 y/o Kalashtar, who follows Il Yannah (the path of light), and subtly hopes to see
Her childhood friend and crush Morgan again. She has a decently high charisma and is strikingly pretty, and is also 6’4” tall lmao
Morgan (she/her...?) is...something I don’t know yet! And probably 24-25 y/o, Kalashtar as well (unless something has happened off camera…). She grew up with Gen in Saxondale and never felt happy. So she pushed the pair to become Kalashtar with the help of a strange woman, and the two departed at 16, only to become separated and never see each other again (so far).
Photosynthesis: Gen and Rosie
Gen, in her travels, came across a little flower and alchemy shop in the depths of a dark city called Zol’Thalas. The shop is run by Rosie, and has an artificial sun in the back room for the plants. Gen loves visiting, both for the warmth of the sun, and for the warmth of its owner.
Rosie (she/her I’m pretty sure) is not a character I’ve gotten to know well just yet! She’s cute as a button though and Gen is absolutely crushing hard on her, and when she finally gets to return to ZT, she’s planning a picnic for the two of them!
