I just think that it'd be funny if, after all this speculation about how horrible Crowley's Fall was and his drunken rambling of "a million-light-year freestyle dive into a pool of boiling sulfur", it turned out he just had the longest most boring elevator ride ever down to basement Hell and then stepped in a very small puddle of warm sludge of questionable origin when the doors opened.

Daily reminder to you all that Sandra Lynn was a 17-18 year old highschool graduate manipulated by an older adventurer in a position of power over her. Something that left her with lasting trauma that heavily impacts her interpersonal relationships to this day. Bobby and/or Pamela are not an example of her "baffling taste" or of her "messiness" they are the direct cause of her trauma. Thank you.

you already are full of rage and fury and you die and give yourself over to the seething boiling fury which already consumes you and you sit there, waiting, for your best friend to rejoin you, and the longer you wait the more you realise that she would rather stay dead than come back to you, than dedicate herself to the ugliest part of yourself that you’ve never been able to control. that she’s chosen to leave you, to die doomed for eternity. your rage can only get stronger. what else is left?

realizing now that the ratgrinders probably DIDN'T kill lucy frostblade at all. likely, they were all killed by the same entity (likely jace or some other proxy of the rage goddess) at the same time and lucy was just the only one with the integrity to stay dead, instead of becoming a puppet. that's why ruben was so sad when he said she "stuck to her guns." because he wishes he had been able to be that brave instead of living with a constant anger inside him that overshadows every other part of his life! their grief is, on some level, probably genuine
but now they've passed the moral event horizon and killed buddy almost as a sort of "initiation" ritual. a messed-up version of hazing. "you can't be one of us until you die and come back wrong too"

Let’s make one thing clear! Riz would have killed kalvaxus whether that was his dad’s murderer or not. He was working on the case, not because of his tragic backstory, but because he noticed his babysitter went missing, then noticed a bunch of other girls had also gone missing. He was already working the case to start out with because he realized something was up and worked on the case no one else seemed to be paying attention to or caring about. He wanted to figure out the mystery to help those girls.
Riz doesn’t get good adventures because he’s tragic, he gets good adventures because he’s smart and can find connections where no one else can. Because he refuses to give up when he finds a mystery. (to the point where he has a mystery tattooed all over his body)

The student protests for Palestine have been an amazing show of solidarity and support and seeing thr way that so many young people are willing to stand up for their values is admirable when so many others stay silent. But this is all to say that we are entering a pattern of glorifying these white “martyrs” from the global west to put all of this effort and resources and media coverage into instead of the actual cause they are fighting for.
I saw the same thing happen with Aaron Bushnell, when his self immolation was being talked about more than the actual genocide in Gaza (which went against everything he said he was self immolating for in the first place).
And again this happened with the prisoner from the US who worked 136 hours just to be able to donate his $17 check to Palestine aid efforts. In response to this, people wanted to help him and ended up raising over $100,000 in a gofundme for him. This feels almost satirical, as every gofundme to help Gazans evacuate Palestine and get to safety has a goal of less than $100,000 and most of them are not even close to reaching it.
And now, there are more and more posts on how to get aid to the college student encampments, and the “urgency” of getting enough bail funds for the students who have been arrested during them. Talking about Palestine itself and getting resources to Palestine has almost been put on the back burner in favour of making all Palestine related news about college students in the United States.
It think it is valuable to recognise the selflessness and importance of these protests, and getting these students resources but what is MORE important, and what these people are truly fighting for, and protesting, and make a statement about is PALESTINE. We have unsurprisingly reached the point where there are people who care much more about the white people fighting for the cause from the comfort of living in the global west than they care about the Palestinians undergoing a genocide in Gaza. It’s become almost blatant racism, the way people begin to drop everything the second a white/usamerican person does something in regards to helping Palestine, but will not put the same effort into a Palestinian IN Gaza who is telling their story or asking for help. I respect anyone who has done absolutely anything to help Palestine, but I hope people are starting to see the pattern of how the media gravitates towards the “white saviour/perfect martyr” instead of the first hand accounts coming from those in Gaza.
Anyway FIND A GOFUNDME AND DONATE TO HELP FAMILIES IN GAZA ESCAPE GENOCIDE

It's so true Broadchurch managed to create gay pining levels of 'let them kiss and confess their love and get married' except it's 'let them hug sometimes and say one nice thing to each other for every fifty mean things and be besties forever'. I completely understand this translating to wanting them to kiss because there is SO much tension and a love confession is a way to have a big release all at once. I don't think I'd even have hated it if they did! (although I'm glad they didn't). But in my heart there is no Moment of release there's just 20 years down the line when they're neighbors and retired from a long career of mutually enabled police malpractice, sitting on the porch and exchanging judgy gossip about passer-by. Being mean to each other is still their love language, but it's gone all soft around the edges and they smile to themselves and know without fear how important they are to one another. They hug about four times a year. In ten more years they'll hug freely and sometimes they'll hold hands <3
This is literally so exactly it. They're gonna grow old together and sit in little their next door cottages by the river/ocean (wherever Alec's little blue house was) being like "when you fall down and yell for me I'm not gonna come help you" "I didn't ask for your help did I? and stop walking into my house without permission you don't live here." They hug once a year max imo but yeah they soften around the edges eventually

kipperlilly being so jealous of riz for his traumatic backstory and claiming it gives him an unfair advantage when in reality riz's entire arc this season has been about how he has to be 10 times better than everyone else if he even wants a chance to go to college because he is so poor. doesn't matter that he already saved the world multiple times. lol.

It seems to me like there's a particular element of hatred that ties in with the rage from the rage crystals. Anyone can be angry and it's literally the defining feature of barbarians that they learn how to harness their rage in service of a goal. But with the rage crystals, it's as if it stokes up existing feelings such as discontent, jealousy, inferiority, or perceived unfairness directed at a particular target, and heightens them until it becomes full-on hatred. You're no longer just angry about something or someone in your life. You hate it with an all-consuming, personal ardour that eclipses any attempt at moderation or abatement. Anything connected with the object of your contempt is guilty by association; every action appears through the most bad-faith lens regardless of intention or truth. It isn't a mindless rage, but rather a targeted personal hatred that feeds off of a person's existing feelings and spurs them to take aggressive action. It's not enough just to stew in silence or work out your anger by yourself. You have to do something about this problem in your life, and you have to specifically do something to the problem because they are the reason why everything is wrong. If only they were gone or dead or humiliated or dethroned, everything would be better. At least until the next problem comes along. Because that's the thing about being a D&D adventurer. There's always going to be another antagonist once this quest is over.
