I am one who was surprised to see HL no longer carried Vintaj items like they used to. In fact, I haven’t seen Vintaj anything there of late. Imagine my happiness when I saw some stuff at Joann’s! Even better, it was all 50% off. They had lots of wood cut out items, ultimate paint and stain, and engraved faux leather bracelets. En la clase de hoy 20 de febrero, la empezamos comparando nuestras respuestas de la actividad parcial. La actividad parcial consistía de leer una obra llamada "La Carnada" y responder algunas preguntas en un documento de word, una de estas preguntas incluía hacer un moodboard representando las ideas que tuvimos a lo largo de la lectura con una paleta de colores, texturas,olores y, hasta sonidos. Como había mencionado anteriormente, la empezamos a comparar entre nosotros y se tocaron puntos muy importantes a mencionar, la mayoría eran símbolos, que hacían que entendiéramos la obra de la mejor manera posible.

Un punto que se mencionó constantemente en la clase fueron los moodboards. Aquí está el mío;

Como se puede evidenciar, me inspiraron bastantes los colores relacionados al vintaje, y, mientras leía, tuve como esta idea de que lo que tocaban tenia esta sensación de ser de cuero. Asimismo, como se esta hablando sobre un rey, pensé en las vestimentas y el color del carro; en la lectura te especifican que tipo de carro era pero la verdad es que ignore ese dato y me lo imaginé como quise, un carro viejo rojo. La vestimenta elegante y de colores marrones debido a que lo relaciono como al 'busines casual' que se podrían mayoría de las personas ricas de hoy en día, al igual que la gente del siglo XX. No tuve la oportunidad en pensar como representar los olores dentro del moodboard pero creo que al poner la lluvia se da a entender.

ㆅㅰㆅ Sobre esto se discutieron los colores más usados, estos fueron el azul, el negro, el café y el rojo. No estuve tan sorprendida al saber que estos fueron los colores más usados debido a que, por el ambiente de la obra y los detalles que te dan, se infiere que se utilizan los colores mencionados anteriormente. Sin embargo, aunque todos teníamos ideas similares,la forma en la que lo planteábamos era diferente. Algo que puede notar fue que varios de mis compañeros añadieron cosas que yo no llegue a imaginar,por ejemplo el payaso o los jaguares. Se mencionarón también cosas sbre la obra y la autora que pude llegar a tomar nota.
