10 Vic/Helena?
#10. “I might have had a few shots.”
It only takes her four minutes to get her key in the door. Helena has scratched at the deadbolt for the other three before stumbling in. Her violet colored bloused is slightly crinkled from a night out, magenta lipstick smeared away and she’s already trying to unbutton her jeans before the door is fully shut.
Her heels come off first and she leaves them in her living room as she pads down the hallway, pushing her jeans over long legs to leave them behind as well. She feels better with the cool air of her apartment now washing over her. Helena’s cheeks are flushed and she’s humming an old song out of tune, not even noticing she’s not alone when she makes it through her bedroom, hands on her blouse to pull overhead as she heads for her bathroom. Her shirt hits the floor just as she stumbles into her bathroom, turning on the sink and listening to the pipes sing in her old apartment. She takes one glance in her mirror before her brows come together and then glances out of her bathroom, “How long…. H-how long have you been in my house?”
Helena’s words are only slightly slurred, and she’s proud of the glare she manages to send his way, “I thought you were back in Hub City.”
Vic finally clicks on the lamp next to the bed. The warm light washes over her tired features, his mask is gone, so is his hat. There are dark circles under his eyes but he still manages to smirk at her half-nakedness, her flushed face and pink pout.
“I came back early. Needed to re-organize my leads, you’ve been busy I see.” Vic’s voice is smooth and makes the hair on the back of her neck stand up, a soft chill races up her arm and she remembers she’s practically stripped herself bare with one hand propping up on her hips, standing proud now in black unmentionables.
“I may have had a few shots.” She doesn’t go on to tell him that few could very well be several, and most of them were paid for by patrons at the dive bar.
“That all?” He questions and she finds herself giving him a silent snarl, padding back into her bathroom to splash water across her face, scrubbing away the makeup from the night. Helena blots at her face with a soft towel and lets it hit the floor. Parts of her are sobering up but she cannot deny she’s still buzzed, still warm and flushed even as she comes back into the bedroom. Vic hasn’t moved. He’s still sitting up on her bed with a curious look pointed in her direction, watching her move as if he’s not even there. Then she slides around him like he is nothing more than an obstacle in her way. Helena crawls up on to the mattress, giving him a sharp look.
“Turn off the light Vic.”
“Don’t you want me to leave?”
“Did I ask that?” Helena counters, stretching out on her side of the mattress. He doesn’t answer her and a minute later the light goes out. The mattress dips and she feels him settling in, without warning she tosses an arm over his chest and makes her way into his personal space. It doesn’t take long before she’s asleep. A snore rips through the air and he makes a mental note to leave water next to the bed when dawn strikes and he leaves again.

Helena reaches the phone before it can ring a third time. “Yes?”
He only has to speak for her to recognize his voice. “Hey. Got room for another vigilante in Gotham?”
“What's this about, Vic?”
“I’d rather not tell you on the phone.”
She can understand that. “Well, I haven’t moved.”

i hate starting things i hate too much description,, im also prone to really really long sentences, which i try to cut in half when editing, but sometimes im too tired to edit so...
thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
girl im filipino wdyt HAHA
serious answer: absolutely. just make sure your target audience will be able to comprehend ur meaning. do this by either making a translation easily accessible without extra steps, or by making a translation obsolete by clarifying the meaning within the text!
or if you're writing, say, maria clara at ibarra fic, just write in taglish bc ur readers are almost all gonna be filipinos anyways LOL
first fandom you wrote for?
miraculous 😞😞😞 ladybug 😞😞😞😞😞 i wrote a chloe fic for an english assignment it was really bad but it was my first real story ever HAHA
