Queen Vexus

The one time reigning monarch of Cluster Prime, Vexus is a sophisticated automaton heralding from a galactic civilization composed of sentient androids. Vexus maintains hateful and xenophobic attitudes toward organic life throughout the cosmos, seeing the androids of the Cluster as the superior beings and organics as loathsome pests that should be exterminated.

When the young and heroic android designated XJ-9 became the protector of earth, a spiteful Vexus made it her mission to destroy XJ-9 and extinguish all life on the blue planet. XJ-9 (having taken on the human guise as Jenny Wakeman) was able to repel Vexus’ initial attack, but there were many more to follow and the evil robot concocted all manner of strange and sinister schemes to defeat her foe.

Ultimately, Vexus’ bent obsession with XJ-9 led to her being dethroned as queen of Cluster Prime. Leadership over the Cluster was passed down to Vexus’ daughter, Vega ,and Vexus herself fled the Cluster to a secret local in the stars. There she has continued to plot means of gaining revenge on XJ-9.

The endlessly fantastic Ertha Kitt provided the voice for Queen Vexus with the villainess first appearing in ninth episode of the animated series, My Life as A Teenage Robot, airing on December 15th, 2002.
