This took longer than I thought. I doubted uploading it, mainly because of the broken dialogue and how weird was the reading. Writting is my weakness. Believe me, I considered doing the comic completely silent, but I wanted to get out of my comfort zone.

I don't know if the outcome turned out decent, I'm not sure. I've been staring at this comic for 2 months that my perception is heavely warped. Therefore, I'm not in good conditions to judge my work sjdhsdh

I like caretakers who are also masters

It's ripe for misunderstandings!

Master says they won't beat Whumpee, but they haven't been bad enough yet and don't believe it

Whumpee who takes orders way too seriously/literally for CareMaster's liking

Whumpee who can't read bc they were for physical labor or "bedroom service" panicking bc CareMaster asked them to fetch a book

CareMaster rewards obedience with treats and privileges, but Whumpee thinks it's a test and refuses

Whumpers who think CareMaster is just like them so they hit Whumpee when they visit CareMaster

CareMaster doesn't realize it until Whumpee has bruises

CareMaster going ballistic and Whumpee thinks they're in trouble

CareMaster assigning Whumpee the role of "pet/companion" so Whumpee can stay by their side but not be as frightened

Whumpee really excited for the "job" bc their last master loved their dogs and Whumpee used to be jealous of them

You can even add another Whumpee to the mix when the first one is mostly recovered!

CareMaster who buys another Whumpee when they visit a Whumper and can't stand the way Whumpee #2 is treated

Whumpee #1 trying to explain to #2 that Master really is gentle and patient, they promise!

#2 trusts #1 bc class solidarity but is terrified of their new Master

CareMaster who (in their mind) barely scraped together enough tasks to give #1 something to do, how are they supposed to justify owning #2 as well?

Maybe CareMaster asks a staff member if they need an assistant

But then CareMaster gets worried when not directly supervising #2

"Well I can't have two "pets" that's pretty excessive"

Maybe #1 is super close to CareMaster now and gets worried/jealous that Master likes #2 more

Shenanigans and whump ensues

"well I call #1 "Pet" as their name bc they like it so wtf do I call #2???"

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

There’s that post that’s like ‘everyone should get into a tiny niche fandom at least once’ fully agree, that was really fun -- but I would like to add that everyone should get into a fandom where their opinions run counter to major fanon because it really teaches you about sticking to your guns and trusting your interpretation of the text without having to rely on peer validation
