i know it's been a while but just a reminder that welsknight's hermitcraft timelapse music slaps. if you wanna see him build a beautiful, scenic, full clay starter mansion to heavy rock music, id really recommend the start of his season seven (also helsknight makes his brief and puzzling appearance)

Jack’s family, Ruggie’s grandma, Falena, Maleficia, Ms.Rosehearts, Just now Vil’s dad is in the picture which I am really happy but now I’m wondering about his mom, and so Deuce’s mom.

I mean, some HAVE a silhouette!! It could mean they do have a design in the making/ready to show. They could’ve shown us Falena in the Tamashina (hope I said that correctly) event, but didn’t (prolly to make Leona not so σ(▼□▼メ) and it’s understandable)

Anyhow, any idea/headcannon about this? Who do you want to see first?

I'm wondering if everyone might eventually get a travel event? like they've now introduced with Vil's that it doesn't have to be specifically hometowns, so that opens things up a lot! (especially if they have to figure out how to do three separate Coral Sea visits) (how would that even work otherwise)

but yeah, I hope everyone gets a chance! there's a lot of backstory characters I would LOVE to meet. :D :D :D though I do think some of them don't really suit the more light-hearted tone of the events (pretty sure you're right about that being why Falena wasn't in Tamashina-Mina, that would've just been. too much for Leona.) so like...we're probably not ever going to meet the Rosehearts. or Maleficia (although I maintain that this would be THE funniest possible way to introduce her outside of the main story, and actually I would love this a lot, can we please Twst) (I need to see her to put Malleus in a froofy little outfit and tell him what a handsome boy he is). but they've sprung surprises like Kifaji on us, and honestly anyone who shows up and tells embarrassing stories about characters' childhoods is good in my book!

characters off the top of my head who I most want to meet: literally any of the Zigvolts, Azul's mom, Ace's brother, Che'nya's grandfather (<- I think he would be a good one for Riddle) (please just any non-terrible adult in his life), any member of Rook's family because I need to see how they managed to produce him, and...really just whoever they can come up with for Silver.

G-d I wish I had a real answer for this. I think it depends on the person, but is this someone you feel like will be receptive to you approaching her with some vulnerability about how unsafe that makes you feel? Do you think she will listen to reason if you give her fact-based explanations for why that rhetoric is more antisemitic than it is helpful to the Palestinian cause? + your perspective and feelings on it? If so, it's worth a try if you are intent on maintaining a trust-based friendship.

If you don't think you'll be safe/you aren't really in a place to take the risk of vulnerability, I'd say you have a few choices:

Avoid her or at least talking about that with her for now, and talk to her later when some of the heat has died down on this issue. Admittedly, this is not optimal because it's way easier to apologize and backtrack when the stakes are low(er), but if you really work on it with her maybe you could rebuild some of that trust.

Stay friends but don't trust her with your safety (emotional or physical). Up to you about how you answer her if she notices and asks about this.

Cut ties at whatever speed you are comfortable with and don't tell her why. You can drift or just start avoiding her. That happens sometimes for non-political reasons.

Cut ties with her and tell her why you aren't interested in maintaining the relationship. That's obviously the most direct, confrontational version; if you go this route but don't want to have a fight about it, you could just say "hey - this really showed me that you do not value the lives and human rights of my people and therefore me, and so I no longer feel safe around you. I wish that was different, but it can't be fixed at this point because I can't trust you anymore." That's a tough lesson, but it's one some people need to learn.

Obviously none of that is ideal, but we're not working with ideal circumstances here unfortunately. Idk if other people have suggestions, but those are mine. I'm sorry you're in this position and hope that you have other supportive community no matter what you decide and how she responds.

Once again frustrated by how Difficult it is to do very basic tasks

A question, because I was preoccupied with Hermitcraft VH and then suddenly after Hypno ended stream noticed HBomb streaming “Vault Hunters SMP Herald Run Day 2”. What’s that? Who’s there? I joined at the very end of the stream so I know only of HBomb but you, tumblr’s resident VH enjoyer, must know more, right?

aha! yes, that's a vhsmp event! between season 3 and 4, they're doing a "race to the herald" event, where they all try to get from level 1 to 100 and fight the herald as fast as they humanly can. hrry, chosenarchitect, hbomb94, iskall, and cpk at least are all doing it, but it's open to anyone from vhsmp i think.

they're playing on hard difficulty, on the 3x loot and exp setting. (so they ARE still leveling at the rate of "level 48 in two days isn't actually horrible if you're a very good vault hunters player and also have all day to dedicate to getting to that", but they have help of being at 3x exp rate.)

they are also playing with some special rules where every vault after level 20 is locked, meaning it's "complete the vault or die" (no bailing), every vault after level 20 has a severe curse, and every vault after level 20 has an omega positive. they also aren't allowed to use catalysts. if you want the list, you can find it here.

i need to watch either hbomb or iskall's vods of it, it looks SUPER FUN i just didn't have time to hang around on stream yesterday!
