Mickeys left standing perplexed with a white envelope. Who the hell is sending him mail in juvie? Not like his family ever cared.
Back in the privacy of his cell, he slowly pulls out a simple card, with the Chicago skyline tinted shades of red.

i think they had a really chill valentine's day as they usually do. mickey cracks jokes every year about how valentine's day is gay and for fairies and blah blah blah.
they went to work as usual and ian made a stop at the store without telling mickey where he was going, coming back out with a single rose. "you know they charge like thirty-five bucks for a bouquet of roses?! anyways, *presents the rose to mickey* happy valentine's day"
mickey reveals a sloppily written card covered in glitter and stickers.
"franny helped me make it," mickey says handing it to ian.
"but this," ian points at the letters, "this is your handwriting."
"fuck you, man ," mickey smiles as ian tackles him onto the couch and presses their lips together.
they make dinner together as ian insists they put the single rose in a vase and set it in the middle of the table. then they end the night upstairs as ian gives mickey the rest of his gift...

Ian held his ground. “I’m a great actor.”
“Could you kiss me right now?” Mickey’s gaze raked down Ian’s body. “Kiss me and not get hard?” Mickey spoke oh-so-slowly. “We’re together, right? So we supposedly kiss all the time. Can you control yourself?”
A song burst through the tension. A silly cartoon voice repeating, You are my cute-cumber. You are my cute-cumber.
Mickey’s eyes widened. “Fuck, my phone.”
He scrambled, but the sound went silent before he got there.
Ian laughed. “Seriously? That’s the cheesiest alert.”
“You don’t understand.” Mickey looked up with pain in his eyes. “That’s Keith’s ringtone.”

It's been a while, but here I am!
This weeks @galladrabbles prompt #113 ‘Valentine’s Cards’ came from @look-i-love-u
This was a funny one for me because this happened in real life when I was 17!
“Sixty-seven, sixty-eight, sixty-nine, seventy.” Mickey counted as he sorted through the pile of red-themed cards that arrived addressed to him in the mail that week, all signed by ‘Anonymous’.
“I wonder who sent these to me?” He smirked. “I wonder if ‘Anonymous’ is a tall big-dicked ginger, whose carpets match the drapes?”
“A tall ginger sent you sixty-nine fuckin’ cards, because it’s your favorite number.” Ian said darkly. “And when I find out who else sent you a Valentine’s card I’ll hunt them down and tear them limb from fuckin’ limb!”
“Mmmm, Tough Guy act is gettin’ me hard, Gallagher.”
