You walk through the crowded hallways, a black bookbag hanging off your shoulder. You look around and see the people you know, and those you don't. You make your way to your classroom, immediately recognized by your best friend. "There she is!" He shouts from his seat, raising his hands in the air.
"Ethan... it's like eight in the morning. Why are you shouting?" He laughs and pats the seat next to him. You take your seat and start to unpack your bag. "Coach cancelled practice for today. Something about giving us time to mentally prepare for the game."
You raise an eyebrow in surprise. "That's so unlike him." Ethan nodded in agreement. "Yeah, but I'm not complaining. It's nice to have a day off."
"Wanna hang out after school?" You ask, placing your notebook on your desk. The brown-haired boy leans into his chair, a smug smile on his face. "No, can do."
A smile makes its way on your face. "What's that look for?"
He shrugs, "Oh, nothing. It's just that Mia Reed and I are going to this Taylor Lift concert together."
You snort at the mess up of the Singer's name. "You mean Swift?" He rolls his eyes. "Yes, that's what I said, Taylor Swift." You shake your head, amused. "Just don't make that mistake in front of Mia."
Ethan has had a crush on Mia since middle school. But he's always been too scared to talk to her, so he'd always comment and support her dance videos on Instagram. He would often try to find ways to run into her, but he could never find the courage to talk to her.
"Wait," You furrow your eyebrows, turning to Ethan completely. "How did you even finesse a date with Mia Reed?" Ethan smiles and shrugs. "What do they say again? Drunk words are sober thoughts?"
You shake your head and laugh. "I was drunk out of my mind during Max's spring break party, and then I saw Mia... and I just went for it." You had seen Mia around school but had never actually talked to her.
You were surprised that she even agreed to go out with him. Ethan could be surprisingly daring when he wanted to be. "You're a brave guy," he holds up a finger. "A brave drunk guy!"
"Also you'd never believe who else I seen at Max's party." "Who?" you asked, curious. He grinned, "Fucking baby Adam Sandler, Vada!"
You stared in disbelief. "You're such a liar." He shakes his head, sitting up in his seat. "Bro! I swear to god! She was there! In her oversized clothes and everything."
You narrowed your eyes at him, still skeptical. He laughs at your facial expression, "Maybe if you had gone then you could've seen yourself." He says in a sing-song tone.
You shake your head and turn away, still unconvinced. He laughs again, "Well, believe me, or not, I'm telling the truth." He shrugs.
Your teacher then walks into the classroom. You glance back at him, trying to figure out if he's telling the truth. He winks at you and turns away, leaving you unsure. As your teacher brings the lesson your mind wanders off.
Vada Cavell, whose last name you only found out due to her Instagram page. Kind of like Ethan, you've been liking Vada for a while but never built up the courage to talk to her or ask her out.
It's been months of admiring her from afar. She was beautiful in person and you found yourself totally mesmerized by her. You liked the way she dressed, unbothered by how anyone else thought of it, you liked the way her smile lit up the room.
You just had to talk to her, but you hesitated. You felt like you could never measure up to her. You wondered if she could ever like you, too.
You only seen Vada talk to her friends from the beginning of the year. It was Nick, Mia, and Quinton. You felt like an outsider, not part of their group.
You were too shy to approach her, and you were afraid of getting rejected. You also felt like you were the total opposite of Vada's type, so you decided to stay on the sidelines and admire her from a distance. You wanted to get to know her but you weren't sure how to start a conversation.
The rest of the day went by fast. Before you knew it you were back home, greeted by your cat and your mom. "Hey, honey. You're home early."
Your mom speaks up from the kitchen, while your cat rubs itself against your leg. Taking off your jacket and bookbag, you smile and reply. "Yeah, coach cancelled practice." You give your cat a few scratches before heading off to the kitchen to join your mom.
"Really? That's surprising." You laugh, peeking into the pot your mom was stirring. "Yeah, that's what I said."
"What are you making?" you ask, taking a seat at the kitchen table. "Spaghetti." She smiles, adding stuff to the pot. You feel a wave of warmth wash over you as the familiar smell of your mom's cooking fills the kitchen.
You watch as she expertly moves around the kitchen, adding ingredients to the pot. "I have to work late tonight, so I figured I'll start dinner early." She stirs the contents and you can smell the delicious aromas wafting from the pot. She gives you a smile, and you are grateful that she is willing to take the time to make dinner for the both of you.
"Ma, you should be resting. I can cook dinner." She waves her hand at you dismissively. "I want to do this. After all, it's my job to take care of you."
She pours some more ingredients into the pot, and the smell of the food intensifies. "What if I got a job? So you don't have to work late shifts anymore?" You suggest, a frown on your face.
She pauses for a moment, before shaking her head. "No, you need to focus on your studies and football. You worked hard for your starting spot, honey." She smiles sadly at you, before stirring the pot and humming a song.
She stops, "Now, go take a shower. It's almost finished." You nod and walk away, feeling a bit defeated. You know she only wants the best for you, but it's still hard to hear. You take a deep breath and head for the bathroom.
You take a long shower, letting the hot water wash away the disappointment. You remind yourself that you are doing your best and that will have to be enough.
Taking a deep breath, you step out of the shower and head back into the kitchen. After eating dinner with your mom, you begin scrolling through Instagram and TikTok. You soon find yourself laughing at memes and videos, allowing yourself to forget the stresses of the day for a few moments.
Hours pass and you soon realize it's time for bed. You turn off your phone and crawl into bed, just as you're about to drift off to sleep, your phone dings. It was a message from Ethan.
ethan - best fucking concert ever
ethan - im officially a swiftie
ethan - taylor's songs are anthems for my life. everything she does is iconic. she's my queen.
you - i'm guessing it went well with mia?
ethan - well? it went amazing bro
ethan - she wanted to hang out tmr but she has plans w adam sandler
you - oh thats a shame
ethan - omg i jus got the best idea evr
you - which is
ethan - A DOUBLE DATE
you - ethan no.
You place down your phone, and it vibrates from the amount of messages you're receiving. You lay back down, but of course, your phone starts ringing. And it's Ethan, obviously.
You sigh, but you pick up the call anyway. "Listen to me! It's a great idea!" He shouts through the speakers of your phone, You groan and roll your eyes, but you can't help but be amused. You reply, "Okay, I'm listening."
Ethan begins to explain his idea in more detail, "Okay look! If I text Mia, right now saying what if me and you both go to the arcade with them, she'll be like sure! Then that means I get to hang out with Mia and you finally get to meet Vada."
Ethan smiled, knowing he had found the perfect plan. You chew the inside of your cheeks, debating if you should agree to Ethan's plan. You take a deep breath and finally give in, deciding that this could be the start of something good.
He quickly texts Mia, and after a few moments, she replies agreeing. "Looks like we got ourselves a double date." Ethan and Mia started to chat excitedly about the date, and you couldn't help but feel a bit of excitement as well. You hadn't been on a date in a while and it felt like a new adventure. But was this actually a date, or just a way to hang out with friends? You weren't sure.
You woke up to a shout of your name. You quickly scrambled out of bed and rushed to the living room. There was your mom standing in the doorway with a wide grin on her face and Ethan right beside her.
"Ethan's here." You send a tired smile to your mom, "How was work?" She shrugs, "It was alright. Come here and give Ethan a hug." You side-eye Ethan, who opens his arms wide, a goofy smile on his face.
"C'mon Y/N/N! Hug me!" You reluctantly walk over and give Ethan a hug. He squeezes you tightly and laughs. Your mom smiles, watching the two of you before turning to head upstairs. Ethan lets you go and gives you a pat on the back.
You take a few steps back and he grins at you. You smile back, "Why are you here so early?" Ethan shrugs, "Your mom said it was okay. Plus it's 3 o'clock in the afternoon." You nod, and Ethan takes a seat on the couch.
He looks around and then turns back to you, "So, what have you been up to today?" You shrug, "Not much. Sleeping."
"I can tell," he motions his hands above his head, basically telling you your hair was a mess. You laugh and run your hand through your hair, trying to tame it. You look back at Ethan and smile, "What about you? What have you been up to?" He grins, "Talking to Mia."
"Oh, really?" You raise your eyebrows. "And what did she have to say?" He shrugs. "She said that they'll be at the arcade at around six."
You nod, sitting down on the couch as well. "Wanna watch The Walking Dead?" He nods and smiles. "Sure, let's watch it!" You grab the remote and search for the show getting comfortable on the couch. The episode starts with a bang, and you both settle in to watch.
Two hours later, you two are still glued to the screen, eagerly awaiting the next plot twist. Once the episode ends, you turn to your friend and say, "Shit! What time is it?"
Ethan, eyes wide, checks his watch and gasps. "We have to go, now!" He exclaims. You both jump up but you pause, "Wait! I gotta shower, do my hair-"
"Less talking and more doing!" Ethan pushes you to the stairs, and you begin sprinting up them, almost running into your mom. She steps aside to let you pass, a mix of surprise and amusement on her face as she watches you go.
Quickly you take a shower and change into a clean set of clothes. Not before fixing your hair and spraying on cologne, you head downstairs, ready and excited. Ethan is waiting for you, a satisfied smirk on his face, and together you leave.
When you arrive at the arcade you see Mia and Vada. Mia's smiling and waving excitedly at you both while Vada kicks a nearby rock. You both walk over and Mia gives Ethan a big hug.
Vada stands off to the side, her arms crossed but a small smile on her face. You look around and see the arcade bustling with activity, and you know you're in for a night of fun. "Hey, guys!" Ethan says, smiling. You look at Vada, and your heart beats like crazy.
"Hey, Vada." She smiles. "Ready for a night of fun?" she asks, her eyes twinkling. You can only nod as you follow the couple into the arcade. Almost immediately, Ethan and Mia go off and do their own thing leaving you and Vada alone.
Vada points to a game ahead of you. "Let's see who can get the highest score," she says with a mischievous smile. You nod and the two of you start to play. After a few minutes of intense competition, Vada ends up with the highest score.
She laughs and celebrates her victory, and you can't help but smile widely. "If I knew you were such a sore winner I would've tried harder." Vada gives you a playful shove and giggles. "You'll have to try harder next time!" she says. The two of you soon move on to the next game.
In watching you press the start button, Vada admits, "I'm bad at basketball." You pick up a ball, looking at her smiling. "That's ok, I'm pretty bad at it too," you reply. She furrows her eyebrows, "I thought you played basketball?" You shoot the ball, and it doesn't even hit the rim.
"Actually-" She starts, and you let out a loud laugh. She joins in your laughter. "I play football," you say continuing the shoot the remaining balls in front of you.
"But like aren't you supposed to at least have good accuracy? A blind person could shoot better than you." You chuckle, "I'm more of a receiver, not a quarterback." You shoot the last ball which ends up bouncing out of the cage from hitting the rim.
You catch the ball easily, placing it down. She shakes her head and grins. "I stand by my statement. You're terrible." She presses the button, picking up the basketball in front of her. "Watch and learn."
The first one she shoots goes in, "Lucky shot." You mumble, and she smiles in response. The second one also goes in, and the third and fourth too. "You lied to me. You said you sucked." She laughs, and sets up the next shot. "I never said I was suck, I just said I was bad." She takes the shot and it swishes through the net. "What the fuck?"
She turns to you and grins. "You see? I told you I was bad, not suck." You can only stare in amazement as she lines up the next shot and scores again. She laughs and walks away, leaving you in awe. "You lied!" You yell out as you follow her. She laughs again. "I'll let you in on a secret."
She stops and turns around, her face serious. "In order to score all the shots, you have to aim for the back of the rim. And then once you do that, calculate how much power you're putting into your shot. That way you'll be able to get a better idea of the trajectory the ball will take. And you'll have a better chance of making the shot." You squint your eyes at the girl, tilting your head a bit.
She bites her lip in response. Adorable, she thinks. "How do you know all of that? Or like, how'd you even figure that out?" She shrugs, a smirk playing on her lips. "I came here before with Quinton." Your eyes widen in surprise. "Really? You two are...close?"
"We're friends." Is all she says. She looks away and takes a deep breath. "But yeah, he's a good friend." She smiles and looks back up at you, her eyes twinkling. "Wanna get something to drink?"
You nod and smile, and the two of you head to grab a drink. "Look, I'm gonna show you how to make the best slushie you'll ever fucking taste in your life." You grab a cup, joining Vada in front of the slushie machine.
Vada begins to explain the steps, and you find yourself getting more and more invested in the process. You join in, and together you prepare the perfect slushie. You take a sip and it's everything Vada promised. "Wow."
"Right!" Vada grins with satisfaction. Your eyes look around the arcade and you notice Ethan and Mia shooting water blasters at the target together. "You know, they're kind of cute together." Vada looks at the two, nodding in agreement. "It was bound to happen eventually. She's been crushing on the guy since sixth grade."
You furrow your eyebrows, your head snapping at the shorter girl next to you. "Really? Ethan too!" Vada laughs, a smile on her face. "That's crazy. It's been obvious to everyone but them." She turns back to the two, watching them laugh and shoot water blasters in sync. "They just need to tell each other how they feel."
"I mean...It's not that simple." You say, taking another sip of your slushie. Vada shrugs. "It's worth a try. I mean, what have they got to lose?" You shake your head. "I don't know. It's a risk they might not want to take."
You're beginning to wonder if you're talking about Ethan or yourself. Vada looks at you with a knowing look. "You never know. Sometimes taking a risk can be the best thing to do." You take a deep breath, considering her words. "Yeah, I guess you're right."
"I'm glad you agreed to come, I would've been third-wheeling the entire night." You laugh, "I'm glad I came too." You never know. Sometimes taking a risk can be the best thing to do. Vada's words basically repeat in your head, "I uh, I've actually been wanting to talk to you for a while." You admit.
She looks surprised but pleased. "Really? I had no idea!" You nod and smile, feeling relieved that you finally said it. "Yeah! I just didn't know how to approach you." She smiles, her dimples appearing on her cheeks. "Dude, it's not like I would've bit you if you tried to make a conversation with me."
You both laugh and the tension between you dissipates. She looks at you, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "So, what do you want to talk about?" You shrug, using your straw to stir around your drink. "Favorite color?"
"Easy. All of them." She smiles and takes a sip of her drink. "I guess I can't argue with that. Favourite movie?" She pauses for a moment, thinking. "It's hard to pick just one, but I think it's The Staircase. I watched it a thousand times." You hum, "I've never watched it before."
"Wait, what?" She shakes her head in disbelief. "You have to watch it. It's a classic!" You shrug. "I'll watch it. What's it about?" She grins. "It's about this white guy who murders his second wife, and probably his first wife, and gets away with both."
You look at her, surprised. "That sounds intense. Is it a true story?" She laughs. "No, it's a movie. You'll love it. What's yours?"
You open your mouth to speak but she cuts you off. "Lemme guess. Tom Brady Documentary: True Stories." You start to laugh. "Yeah, that's it. It's a classic." She laughs. "See, I knew it!"
"But actually, it has to be How To Build a Better Boy." You say, watching her face to see her reaction. She looks shocked, "Wait that one sappy Disney movie?"
"It's not sappy." She laughs, "Yeah, right. I'm sure it's full of life lessons and cheesy dialogues." You smirk, "Maybe, but it's still worth watching."
She shakes her head, "I don't believe you. There's no way it can be that good." You shrug, "Trust me. I promise you won't regret it." Vada takes another sip of her drink, only to realize she's finished it. She looks up at you with a questioning gaze.
You smile and offer her some of your drink. "Trust me how I trusted you to make this drink." Vada hesitates, then takes the drink from you. "Okay. I'll watch it tonight, and then first thing in the morning I'll tell you if it was good or bad."
You nod and watch her take a sip. "You'd need my number for that." She smiles, takes out her phone and hands it to you. You add your number, then hand it back. "I'll be waiting for your call then." You wink and she laughs, taking another sip of the drink.
Ethan and Mia make their way toward you two, smiles on their faces. "You guys ready to go?" You both nod, and you all make your way out of the arcade. You all walk out, the cool night air bringing a sense of peace. You and the girl share a glance, and she smiles. You both head to your respective cars and drive off in different directions.
"How was it with Vada?" You reply, "It was great. She's a really cool girl." Ethan smiles and you ask him how it went with Mia. "We had our first kiss." Ethan's face lit up with excitement. "WHEN?"
He shyly looks away and replies, "Just a few minutes ago. You missed it being too oo la la with Vada." You roll your eyes smiling and give him a high five. Ethan grins and says, "It was amazing." He then pulls out of the parking lot, turning on his blinker and making a left towards your place.
Meanwhile, in Mia's car, she and Vada are talking about you. Mia teases Vada about her crush on you. Vada blushes and laughs, still a little embarrassed. "I mean she's cute and I can tell she really likes you."
Vada looked away, still blushing. "I don't know what you're talking about," she said, laughing. Mia just smiled and shook her head. As soon as Vada got home she was questioned by her mom.
Vada quickly changed the subject, not wanting her mom to know what had happened. Vada's mother gave her a knowing look but didn't press the issue. Instead, she just said, "Well, I'm glad you had a good time." Vada smiled and nodded, grateful that her mom hadn't pushed the matter any further.
She fell against the couch, hesitating before turning on How To Build a Better Boy, your favourite movie. The movie started and Vada felt a sense of relief as her mom left the room. She curled up in her blanket and let herself get lost in the movie.
"Perfect boy but his name is Albert! And how'd he get a car...plus why'd he just throw his keys to a random guy?" Vada mumbles to herself, confused at the logic of the movie.
She giggled at the absurdity of it all, hoping the movie would eventually make sense. Despite the silliness, she couldn't help but be drawn in by the characters and their stories. Vada watched with anticipation as the movie unfolded, eager to find out what would happen next.
Until Amelia comes down, standing in front of the TV. Vada groans at her little sister, "Dude. I'm trying to watch something." Amelia turns to her with a small frown, "I wanna watch too." Vada reluctantly scoots over to make room for her, rolling her eyes in an attempt to hide her growing smile. They cuddle up on the couch, ready for whatever the movie had in store.
The sisters watched the movie, laughing and pointing out silly things until it was time for bed. Vada tucked Amelia in, giving her a hug and a kiss on the forehead, before heading off to dreamland herself.
When you woke up in the morning the first thing you did was grab your phone, checking for any recent messages. You felt a wave of disappointment as you saw that no one had messaged you. You decided to go downstairs to make breakfast.
Your mom had already left for work, so it was just you and your cat, Goose. You started making a simple omelet. It was one of your go-to recipes. But gosh, was it delicious.
As you ate the omelet, you had a moment of peace, just you and your cat, and the warm and comforting taste of the omelet. Goose jumps onto the table, meowing in your face. "Goose down."
Goose meows in protest, but eventually jumps off the table. You take a deep breath, savouring the last bite of the omelet. You look down at Goose and smile, "I'll make sure to give you a treat later." Goose purrs in response, contentedly rubbing against your leg. You get up to clean the kitchen, and your phone goes off in the middle of the dishes.
xxx-xxx-xxxx - ok. i'd admit it's a very good movie
You smile, she had finally texted you.
you - see it's not sappy, but a work of art
vada - i wouldnt take it that far
you - lol, i still have to watch the stairless
Three dots appear on the screen, then disappear. You frown, continuing to wash the dishes. You pause and turn off the water, drying your hands. You pick up your phone again, Vada had texted back.
vada - we could watch it at my place
you - when?
vada - today if u want
you - ok sure
you - send me ur address
You ring the doorbell, shifting your weight from one leg to the other anxiously. "Mom! Do not open the-" The muffled voice stops once the door is swung open. You stand there, frozen, unable to move. The blonde woman smiles at you, "Hi! You must be Vada's friend. Mia is it?" You shake your head, hearing a groan come from inside the house. "Mom, this is Y/N."
You smile awkwardly, feeling embarrassed. Mom chuckled and stepped aside, motioning for you to come in. You nervously step inside, smiling at the woman who let you in.
Vada sends you a wave which you return, placing your hands in your pocket. You take a deep breath as you take in your surroundings. The home was warm and inviting, with decorations all around the place.
You follow Vada, who leads you to the living room. She offers you a seat and you sit down, feeling somewhat more at ease. "Sorry about that." You wave it off, "It's fine. She seems sweet."
"If sweet means extremely noisy and out of touch with this generation, then yes. She's very sweet." Vada sighs and sits down on the couch next to you. You can't help but laugh at her comment. She shakes her head and smiles. "She means well, I suppose." She says with a shrug.
You lean further back into the red couch, as Vada picks up the remote turning on The Stairless. Vada and you sit back and watch the movie, exchanging comments and laughs. Time passes quickly, and soon enough you both find yourselves lost in the story. "Off the bat, I knew he killed his first wife." You laugh, slightly turning your head to Vada. "I'm telling you, he did it!" Vada exclaimed.
You both chuckle and then continued watching the movie. As the movie plays, the closer you two get. Now leaning into each other, you can feel the warmth of Vada's body as your hands occasionally brush against each other.
Your conversations become more meaningful, and the laughs become genuine. The movie fades away, and all that's left is the two of you, living in the moment.
As the credits rolled, you both looked at each other in amazement. "That was one hell of a movie," you say. "I told you. That movie is the shit." You sit up a bit, your shoulder brushing against Vadas. "Okay, rate How to Build a Better Boy and then I'll rate this."
Vada takes a moment to think, then finally responds. "It was an 8/10 for me," she says. "I really enjoyed it. How about mine?" You pause to consider the movie before finally saying, "Hmm, I'd give it a 9/10. Definitely worth watching again."
Vada grins. "I knew you'd like it." She leans back against the couch and stretches her arms out. "I'm glad we got to watch it together." You give her a smile and nod in agreement.
You give her a smile and nod in agreement. You both take a few minutes to relax in the comfortable silence. Then, you break it.
"I'm really craving one of your slushies." Vada laughs. "Wanna get one?" You nod and she jumps up, pulling you up from the couch. "Let's get Albert!" Furrowing your eyebrows, you both head out the door. "Albert?"
Vada laughs again. "I was thinking about it and you literally are the fully human version of him, except you don't really look alike." You roll your eyes, but you can't help but laugh. "Albert's a douche, I'm not a douche."
Vada snorts as you unlock your chair door, getting inside together. "Albert is not a douche. He's a sweet young boy who cares about his girlfriend, and he's really good at football."
You can't help but smile, shaking your head. "Yeah, okay, maybe he's not a douche." Vada grins as you start the engine. "Exactly. So therefore you're Albert." You chuckle and put the car in gear. "Are you trying to say that I'm perfect and really good at football?"
She laughs."No, I'm saying you're not a douche. Now let's go! The slurpies are calling my name." You roll your eyes and drive away, the two of you laughing as you go.
Since that day you've been texting Vada non-stop. She doesn't seem to mind it either. You feel like you can talk to her about anything. And to add to that, you've also been talking during school. Vada had even come over to meet your cat, when your mom was at work. You two have become really close over the past few weeks. Every day you look forward to talking to her and spending time with her. You can't help but feel like you are falling for her.
"Are you coming to my game tonight?" Vada smiled at you and nodded. You felt your heart flutter. You knew for sure, you were starting to fall in love. "Yeah, of course. Even though I barely understand football." You laugh at her response, leaning into the lockers. She smiles back, her eyes twinkling. "I'll explain the rules to you," you say, your voice soft as it can be. Vada can feel her heart skip a beat, and you smile at her.
She looked away for a moment, then back into your eyes. "But if you don't carry four people on your shoulders and score like Albert, then I'm leaving mid-game." She jokes causing you to smile. You tried to think of a witty reply, but all you could do was laugh. "I'll try my best."
She smiled and put her hand on your shoulder. "That's all I ask." She patted your shoulder and walked away. You watched her leave, feeling content with your exchange. Ethan, who you didn't notice was behind you places a hand on your shoulder.
You jump in surprise. "Jesus!" He laughs. "You should relax, man. I didn't mean to scare you." He removed his hand and stepped back. You take a deep breath and let it out, relieved.
"What were you guys talking about?" You shrug, "Nothing important. She's coming to our game tonight." Ethan's eyes widen in shock, "Are you serious?" "Yeah, why?" You reply, slightly confused. He shakes his head, "Nothing, just... Mia asked herself and Vada said no."
"Hm..." You hum, unsure of what to take from the situation. "I don't know maybe she changed her mind last second." A goofy smile makes its way onto Ethan's face, "Or maybeeeeee... she likes you."
You look away, blushing. "No way," you say, shaking your head. "She's definitely not interested in me that way." Ethan gives you a knowing look. "You've been talking for weeks. I've seen the way she looks at you," he says. "You should ask her out dude." You hesitate, not sure if you should take his advice.
The bell rings, and you look at Ethan with a smirk. "Saved by the bell." Ethan rolls his eyes and laughs. "Just ask her," he says, and you cover your ears humming as you walk through the hallway.

"Check, check! Elvis, Elvis!" Ethan yells. You look at the cornerback in front of you, and give Ethan a thumbs up. You take a deep breath and get into your stance. You know that if you can get past the cornerback, and potentially win your team some yards. You focus on the cornerback and wait for the snap.
The snap comes and you explode off the line. You easily beat the cornerback and break into the open field. You know you have a chance to make a big play and you sprint as fast as you can. Ethan throws the ball to you, and you catch it successfully.
Only making it to the 45-yard line before you're tackled. The crowd erupts in cheers as you get up from the tackle, smiling. You know you've made a huge play and energized your team. As you jog back to the huddle, you can feel the momentum shifting in your favour.
The team regroups and prepares for the next play. Everyone is pumped up and ready to take it to the end zone. Ethan calls the next play and the team breaks the huddle, ready for action. Ethan snaps the ball, handing it off to the running back who earns just about 8 yards from the play. It's third down, and you need 10 more yards to get to first.
Ethan calls out the next play and the team runs it perfectly. The running back manages to break free and run for 20 yards, giving the team a first down. The team cheers in excitement as they get a fresh set of downs and move closer to the end zone. "Y/N," you perk up at the sound of your name, "Be ready." You nod as Ethan pats your helmet.
You take a deep breath as you prepare yourself for the next play. You watch as Ethan signals the play and the team begins running it. You run up to the line of scrimmage, ready to make your move.
You see a gap in the defence and make your move, sprinting forward. You catch the football with both hands and take off, running for the endzone. You feel the wind in your face as you cross the goal line and score the touchdown.
The crowd erupts in cheers as you spike the ball in celebration. You jog back to the sidelines, feeling a sense of accomplishment and pride. You know you just made a game-winning play.
Meanwhile, Vada is in the stands beside Mia yelling, "GOAALLLLLLLLL!" Mia and Vada jump up and down excitedly, hugging each other in joy. The crowd continues to cheer as you take off your helmet and raise your arm in triumph. You feel a deep sense of satisfaction knowing that your hard work has paid off.
You wave to your mom who waves back, a huge smile on her face. "That's what I'm talking about!" Your coach saying patting your back. You take off your helmet, rubbing the sweat off your forehead with your towel. "Just one more touchdown and we've made it to the playoffs, baby."
You take a moment to take in the sound of the cheering crowd and the feel of the cool night air. The team gathers together in a huddle, the defensive team heading onto the field.
As the players take their positions on the field, the energy in the stadium is palpable. The coaches call out the plays and the team readies for the snap. The opposite team's quarterback takes the ball and the game resumes.
Thankfully your defensive side was able to stop the other team, and you're back on the field. Your team huddles up and the coach gives the next play. You take your position and get ready for the snap. As the ball is snapped, you make your move and the play is underway.
You make a break for the end zone, dodging and weaving past the other team's defence. Catching the ball with ease, you can feel the cheers of the crowd getting louder as you get closer. You feel someone hop on your back, but you continue running.
You keep going until you cross the goal line and score the winning touchdown. The crowd erupts as you raise your arms in victory. You look back to see your opponent still on your back, frustrated and disappointed.
The referee quickly signals for a touchdown and you can see the joy on your teammates' faces. You look back at your opponent and offer a friendly handshake to congratulate them on a good game. The team celebrates your victory as the crowd continues to roar.
You run to the sidelines, ecstatic about the win. The coaches congratulate you on your performance and the team gathers for a group hug. You look into the stands and see Vada staring back at you, her mouth open in shock. You take off your helmet, dropping it on the ground before holding up a heart.
Vada smiles and laughs, she mimes a heart back to you, and you smile widely. Ethan brings you into a tight hug, patting your back, "HELL YEAH!" You finally feel the euphoria of a victory. You had worked so hard and it had all paid off.
You look back at the field one last time, taking in the feeling of success before you turn to join your team in their celebration. You have made it, and nothing can take this moment away from you.
Moments pass and the entire team makes its way into the locker room. Everyone is in high spirits, laughing, hugging and even dancing to the sound of the music playing in the background. You can't help but smile, happy about the win.
As the team disperses, the coach takes you aside. He looks you in the eye and says "I'm proud of you. Great job today." You feel a thank him before leaving the locker room, walking outside to the front of the school building.
Ethan, Mia, and Vada are already there waiting. Once Vada sees you she runs to you, basically jumping into your arms. You hug her tightly, feeling a warmth inside. "You did it!" She shouts, her eyes bright with excitement.
"You like actually carried that guy onto your back? I told you you're Albert!" You laugh and hug her again. "Thanks, Vada." You are interrupted by a throat being cleared, and it's your mom.
"Hey, Ma." Your mom smiles at you, holding out her arms and you step into them, contentment washing over you. She pulls away slightly, with a proud smile and says, "You should be proud of yourself, Y/N. You did something remarkable today."
You smile, feeling a warmth in my chest. "I'm glad you think so," She hugs you again and says, "I always have, sweetheart. Now go hang out with your friends." You smile wider, feeling a warmth in your chest and your eyes start to mist.
You hug her tightly and thank her, before turning to go. You pause for a moment and look back, feeling so thankful for the unconditional love you have been given.
"TIME TO PARTYYYYY!" Ethan shouts from beside Mia, who joins him. You shake your head at the two, turning to Vada who raises her head, joining in as well. You can't help but laugh at their enthusiasm and join in, feeling the energy of the night.
The four of you make your way towards Max's house. He's known for throwing the best parties at your school, but you've never gone to any of them. You've never really had a reason to, but now you kind of do.
You knock on the door and Max welcomes you all in. The house is filled with people, and loud music and the air is thick with laughter and energy. You can feel a sense of anticipation and excitement as you all take in the scene.
You look around and take it all in, feeling a bit overwhelmed but excited. You make your way through the crowd, looking for a place to sit down and relax. You finally find a spot and settle in, ready to enjoy the party. "No way you're sitting down at a party," Vada says from beside you. You swallow your drink before sending a small smile at her.
She grins and grabs your hand, leading you to the dining room. "We're gonna play beer pong. I hope you have better accuracy."
"Any challengers?" A dark-haired boy says from the other side of the table, his friend close by. "Yeah." You speak up, wrapping an arm around Vada's shoulders. "Me and her," Vada smiles, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Ready to go?" you ask, and she nods.
The boy nods, "Okay. But just know beer pong is my calling." You and Vada exchange a knowing look, and you set up the table. The game begins and you soon find yourself in a heated battle with the dark-haired boy.
It's drink after drink, throw after throw, and soon the game is over. The boy is declared the winner with a triumphant grin on his face. Vada and you exchange an impressed look and congratulate him on his victory.
"I can't believe he won that." You mutter, a bit tipsy. Vada shakes her head, "I can. You still suck at aiming balls into stuff." You laugh and throw your hands up in defeat. "You're right, I do. But maybe I'll get better one day." You continue following Vada around the party until she suggests something.
"Wanna get high?" You look around the party and then back at Vada, "Let's do it." She smiles and grabs your hand, leading you away from the party. You quickly found a secluded corner outside, and she produced a joint from her pocket. Taking a lighter from her other pocket, "You always have a lighter and a joint in your pocket?"
She laughed, "No but... I knew I'd be going to this party. I wanted to prepare myself." You hum with a nod, Vada's eyes leave the joint before meeting yours. "Have you done this before?" You shake your head, "No. I haven't.."
She smiles, takes the joint and takes a deep breath. "It's ok, I'll show you how."Vada inhaled, and slowly exhaled. She passed the joint back to you and said, "Just take a tiny puff. Don't hold it in, just let it out." You took the joint and followed her advice. You felt a tingle in your chest as the smoke lingered in the air. You coughed a bit, but it was a good feeling. You exhaled and smiled. "See? Not so bad."
You handed the joint back to Vada, feeling a bit more at ease. You sit down on the grass, and Vada joins you laughing. "Just wait till it hits."  You close your eyes and lean your head back, savouring the moment.
You feel the warm sun on your skin and the cool grass beneath you. You can feel the effects of the marijuana start to take hold, and a peaceful calm overtakes you. "I wonder what kind of high you'll be."
"There kinds?" You smile and nod, feeling content. "There's the body high, the mental high, and the spiritual high. Each one has its own unique experience." You take a deep breath and sigh, feeling the effects of the marijuana wash over you.
You close your eyes and relax, feeling the tension in your body slowly dissipate. You smile, feeling a sense of peace and clarity that you hadn't felt in a long time. You open your eyes and take another deep breath, feeling a deep sense of connection to the world around you.
"I wonder who wrote the script for How to Build a Better Boy," Vada's eyes widen. She can't believe that's what you're talking about mid-smoke. You laugh and shrug. "It's just something I thought of. I was just trying to relax." She smiles, understanding. "Well, it seems like it worked. You look much calmer now."
You take a deep breath and smile. "Yeah, I guess it did. I'm glad I was able to take my mind off things for a bit." Vada nods in agreement, then takes a deep drag from the joint. You both take a moment to enjoy the silence and the feeling of companionship.
You turn to the shorter girl, smiling. "I wanna kiss you. Badly, I've been wanting to kiss you, but now I just really really really-" You're cut off by a pair of lips onto yours. You close your eyes and kiss her back, savouring the moment. When you pull away, you can't help but smile.
You look into her eyes and feel a warmth inside you that you never thought was possible. "I've been wanting to kiss you too." You smile wider, bringing her back into an intense kiss.
Bringing the girl into your lap, gripping her waist tightly. You can feel her heart pounding against your own. You can feel her body relax into your embrace as you kiss her more passionately. You don't know if this is just Vada or the cannabis you've inhaled, but this is definitely one of the best kisses you've had.
She pulls away and smiles at you, her eyes twinkling. You can feel the electricity between you, like something that will never be broken. You know this moment will stay with you forever.
She leans in and whispers in your ear, "I love you." You can feel your heart swell at the words. You hold her close and whisper back, "I love you too." Everything around you fades away and all that is left is the two of you in this moment. You kiss her tenderly as your hearts beat in unison.

"You've gotta be quiet!" Vada whisper yells at you, trying her best to support your weight. You nod and press your lips together, trying your best to muffle the sound of your breathing.
You feel Vada's arms tremble as she carries you through the darkness. You can sense her fear. "Ma is probably..." You start snoring and begin laughing at your own joke.
Hopefully, your mother is sleeping because of the way you're acting right now, she'd definitely tell if you're not sober. Vada stops walking and scolds you.
She tells you to keep quiet and you quickly apologize. You try to remain quiet for the remainder of the journey, but you can't help but feel a bit of excitement as you approach your bedroom.
On the second to last step, there's a creaking noise. You both tense up at the sound, waiting there a few moments before resuming your movements.
"Are we gonna make out, V?" Vada blushes, a slight smile playing on her lips. "Shh, we're almost to your room." You make it to the room, closing the door behind you. Vada then pushes you onto the bed, plopping down beside you with a heavy sigh.
You begin giggling, turning to the girl beside you. She smiles, leaning in closer. You close your eyes, feeling her warm breath on your face. You both press your lips together, eagerly exploring each other.
Your heart races as you feel her hands on your back. You break away, looking into her eyes. You both share a knowing smile, "Are you sober enough to consent?" You nod, "Yes. Now hurry... sober thoughts and drunk thoughts."
Vada laughs at your mess-up, fuck it. She was high as hell as well. She was just handling it way better than you.
You both kissed again, feeling the warmth as your bodies pressed against each other. You felt the alcohol between you, but you both knew that you were sober enough to make a conscious decision. Your hearts were pounding as you embraced each other, both of you eager for more.
You pull away, climbing onto of Vada. Vada smiles up at you as you look deep into her eyes. You lean in and kiss them passionately, your hands exploring her body. You two stay like this for what feels like an eternity, until finally you pull away, and you begin undressing.
You throw your hoodie away, and try to rip apart your white tank top but fail. Vada notices your frustration and giggles, then helps you take off your tank top, revealing your toned abs. She smiles, before reaching up and kissing you again.
She then fumbles with the buttons of your pants, and pulls them down, before pushing you onto the bed. She climbs on top of you, and begins to passionately kiss your neck and chest. You can feel her hands trailing up and down your body as she continues to kiss you.
She moves her hands to your back and pulls you closer. You can feel her breath on your skin as she whispers into your ear. She then moves her lips to yours and you become lost in the moment.
You pull away slightly, "Vada take off your damn clothes." You say fiddling with her shirt. She complies taking off her bra as well. Your mouth moves to her chest, kissing, licking and suckling as your hands wander to her shorts. You slip them off her hips, leaving her in just her panties.
She moans in pleasure as you continue your ministrations.
You move your hands further down, gently stroking her inner thighs. You pause, taking in her beauty before slowly slipping off her panties.
She smiles at you, her desire and anticipation palpable in the air. "My heart is racing so much," she admits, smiling. "Mine too," you reply, leaning in to kiss her.
Her lips are soft and inviting, and you can feel the heat of her body radiating around you. You both lose yourself in the moment, the anticipation of what's to come envelops you both.
You flip her over, laying her on her back. You begin to explore her body with your hands. Her skin is soft and smooth beneath your fingertips. She moans softly, her eyes closed in pleasure. "Y/N..."
You move your hands up and down her body, exploring every inch of her. She gasps softly as you reach her most sensitive areas. You press your lips against her clit, sending waves of pleasure through her body.
She grabs hold of your hair, her moans getting louder as you keep going. You feel her body quiver beneath you as you continue to pleasure her, her breathing becoming rapid and her body shaking with pleasure.
You can feel her nearing her climax and you increase the intensity of your motions, pushing her over the edge. Her body convulses with pleasure as she reaches her orgasm. "Ohmygod."
You kiss her body as she recovers from her orgasm, her breathing slowly returning to normal. She looks up at you with a satisfied smile, her eyes still filled with pleasure. You return her smile, happy to have been able to bring her pleasure.
You feel yourself hard against your underwear, and you know that you're ready for your own pleasure. You pull her closer to you and whisper in her ear, letting her know that you're ready. She responds with a mischievous grin, her hand moving to pleasure you.
You moan as her hand slides up and down, the pleasure building inside you. She moves her lips to yours, her tongue exploring your mouth as her hand continues to work its magic.
You can feel yourself getting closer to the edge, and you grab her hand to slow her down. She smiles in understanding and pulls away, the pleasure ebbing away. You look into each other's eyes, and you both know that this is only the beginning. "I'm gonna grab a condom." You mumble, rushing off the bed and into your drawer.
She nods in agreement, and you can sense the anticipation in the air. You come back to the bed, and she eagerly takes the condom from you. Opening the gold wrapper, you take out the condom and unroll it onto yourself, before moving to lie on top of her.
She wraps her arms around you as you take a deep breath as you slowly slide inside her, and you both gasp in pleasure.
You both moan in pleasure as you start to move, and she wraps her legs around you. You start to build up momentum, faster and faster, as you move together. The friction of the condom creates a warm, smooth sensation that sends pleasure through both of you with each thrust.
With each movement, you feel your connection with her deepen and you can feel the sensations in both your bodies become more intense.
"Vada," you sigh out, resting your head in the nape of her shoulder. She looks up at you and smiles, her eyes twinkling in the dim light. You kiss her softly and she wraps her arms around you tightly.
You can feel the warmth radiating from her body and you feel the love you have for her in that moment. You want to stay like this forever and the thought of having to part from her is too much to bear. You tightly embrace her and whisper that you love her. You feel her body trembling as she returns the embrace.
"I'm about to cum." She moans into your ear as she cums. You feel her body quivering and it sends waves of pleasure throughout your body. You hold her tight as you release as well. You collapse onto the bed, panting heavily. You lay there in each other's arms for a few moments, basking in the afterglow of your lovemaking. You kiss each other tenderly and drift off to sleep.
"Was I your first time?" She replies with a soft whisper, "No, Mia was." Your head snaps to her and she laughs, sighing out shortly after.
You take a moment to process what she said. "Really?" She nods, "It happened... multiple times... the fifth week of school." You take a deep breath and look away for a moment, trying to contain your confusion.
"Was I yours?" You shake your head smiling, "No, Ethan was." She lets out a loud laugh at your joke, laying her head on your chest. You take a deep breath and hold her close.
You feel a wave of emotions wash over you, grateful for the moment of comfort. You are filled with a sense of peace, knowing that you have someone to talk to and share your feelings with.
"I need to shower." You say. Vada nods rolling over. "You can join me, but you gotta be quiet." You smile, "Oh, you're telling me to be quiet now?"
You chuckle and lead her into the bathroom. You both take your time showering, enjoying the warmth of the water and each other's company. After, you dry off and return to your bedroom, both content and peaceful.
You wake up to a shout of your name. Looking to your left you notice Vada is still sound asleep. "Fuck," you rush up out of bed putting on your clothes before nearly darting downstairs to the kitchen, following the smell of breakfast.
Your mother is standing over the stove. Three plates of eggs and bacon already waiting for you on the table. She gives you a stern look before turning back to the stove. "There are three..." You mutter to her confused.
She points to the plates. "One for you, one for your girlfriend, and one for me. Now wake her up and come and eat."
You sheepishly smile turning on your heels to go wake up Vada.

You stare at the clock hanging above the blackboard anxiously, kicking your leg under the desk. The last few minutes of the last period always seem to stretch miles into infinity, and your patience is barely as flexible. The voice of the teacher has long since become background noise, the talk of equations and trigonometry and the finals week and how unprepared you were for it the last thing on your mind.
You pick your phone up for the millionth time to look at the messages still hanging and marked as unseen on your screen, eyes focusing on Vada’s name followed by an emoji of a puppy and a black heart.
‘got us enough to roll one’
‘just one tho’
‘don’t wanna end up like last time’
You chuckle quietly – the sweet memories of you and Vada skinny dipping in a pond at night and then showing up half-naked at Nick’s door are definitely the ones you treasure most, even though you can barely piece them together.
You look out the window, lost in thought. Your teacher asks you a question – and then you're saved by the sound of the bell ringing across the building.
As soon as you hear it you’re up and all but bolting out the door, muttering a quick ‘bye’ to the teacher to maintain your good girl image that, to be honest, has been hanging by a thread ever since the day you started dating Vada.
Not that you really care about their opinion. You just don’t want the principal to call your mother again.
You speed walk through the corridor, try to remember which floor was Vada’s class on, before you’re stopped by a pair of hands wrapping around your waist.
“Hey there pretty girl.”
You squeal in surprise, turning around in your girlfriend’s arms. She’s grinning at you annoyingly, the little shit, but the small dimple on her right cheek makes it impossible to be mad at her.
“Fuck, Vada,” you huff, pinching her shoulder half-heartedly, “I’ve got a weak heart, remember?
She shrugs, leans in to kiss your pout away.
“Sorry. I got out early. Wanted to wait for you since apparently someone's not interested in answering any of my texts anymore.”
You kiss her back, smiling apologetically, “I was too excited to see you, I guess.”
The brunette hums, lacing her fingers with yours, “Where to then?”
You think about inviting her over to your place – it’s closer to school, and your mom is working till late evening, but the rationality clicks quicker. Your mom also happens to work as the district attorney of the town – you’re pretty damn sure she knows what pot smells like, and would be able to smell it hours after you and Vada have fucked beyond the common sense of ventilating the house.
So you do the next best thing, one that won’t get either of you in trouble – you hotbox in your girlfriend’s car. You realize it might soon become the best thing, because it hits so much better.
Vada gets greedy with the joint a few times – you have to remind her it’s puff puff pass, not puff puff kiss your girlfriend so she lets her guard down then puff again.
In a few minutes you’re in her lap and making out with her like it’s your last day on Earth, the two of you giggling into each other’s mouths when you accidentally press the horn with your butt a few times, the honking sound mixing with your laughter.
You can barely make Vada’s face out by the time the last of the joint fizzles out and starts to burn your fingertips, the smoke filling the car up to the brim, but her eyes stand out amidst the choking whiteness, her pupils almost heart-shaped as she watches you with a dopey grin.
When you open the door the smoke drifts up the sky in big clouds, and breathing clear oxygen almost feels weird.
You’re still giggling slightly as Vada fumbles with her pockets to find her keys, your soft lips pressing to the side of her neck in sweet pecks making the process of finding them unnecessarily hard.
She shushes you when you finally step inside, listening for any sounds, before closing the door behind you. As soon as you realize you’re alone in the house, you press your lips against Vada’s impatiently.
“Don’t forget– your shoes,” Vada manages between the kisses, shivering as you slide your hands under her oversized shirt, “I’m serious, you horndog. Mom hates it when the floors are dirty.”
You groan into her lips, pulling away to untie your Jordans, shaking on your unstable legs slightly, and make your way up the stairs into her room. Vada opens the window to let the fresh spring air sweep through the room, hoping it’ll be enough to help the smell of weed wear off your clothes and hair.
“Wanna watch a show?” She asks, gesturing to her laptop as you sit on her bed, crossing your legs.
“Mhm. You’re thinking Euphoria, aren’t you?” You snort, watching as your girlfriend slides next to you, “Because I think we’re pretty much in one.”
“So, like,” Vada trails off, her hands coming to rest on your hips in what she thinks is a subtle movement, “Would that make me Rue, then?”
She plays with a string on your pants, feeling almost embarassed about the corny things she's saying.
“And you – Jules?”
You hum, tilting your head with a coy grin, try and mull her innuendo over in your baked out mind. The comparison does seem familiar – especially with Vada’s puppy love towards you.
“Well, I liked their duo in the first season but... weren’t they, like... extremely toxic later on?”
Vada finally pulls in you to sit on her lap, your thighs bracketing hers, and it’s such close proximity you can count all the pretty freckles scattered across her face. You’d probably get lost at fifty, way too high for mathematics of any kind, even if it’s this romantic.
“You’re right. Fuck Euphoria,” she whispers, her gaze sliding to your lips, and you don’t waste any more time to press your lips to hers.
Kissing Vada has always been something to look forward to – warm and pleasant, makes your stomach flip when she’d bite your bottom lip and lick at your teeth. Kissing Vada whilst being slightly high is an out of this world feeling. Her nose presses into your cheek, and your palms slide to the back of her neck, fingers twirling her silky brown tresses idly.
You pull away for air, and it gets stuck in your throat as the brunette presses a kiss behind your ear, trailing the butterfly smooches down to your pulse point. Her hands are kept busy under your shirt, fingertips tracing up your stomach to your ribs.
“How many times have you ever been eaten out?”
A sudden but... not at all unwelcome question. You lean back on your hands, humming when her plush lips rest against your collarbone, and purse your lips in thought.
“Mm... once or twice. I don’t really keep any notches on my belt, y’know?”
Her hands tighten around your hips, and you chuckle.
“Drinking vinegar, are you now? Don’t worry. You have an opportunity to top them all.”
Vada averts her gaze suddenly. You frown, lean in to cup her face gently.
“What’s wrong?”
The brunette rubs her thumbs over your clothed thighs, then looks back up at you, a small frown on her face.
“I’ve never done this before.”
“You’ve never... fucked anyone?” You're sure that's a lie – she's fucked you before.
“I’ve never given a girl head.”
You hum, reaching to hold her slightly shaky hands, slowly inching them closer to the waistband of your sweatpants, “I can teach you,” you suggest, biting your lip, “Show you what I like. That cool?”
Vada looks almost mesmerized. She nods, her gaze fixed on your pants, and you giggle as she tugs them down your legs, prompting you to slide off her lap to let her do so, the cool outside breeze hitting your warm skin and rising goosebumps in its wake.
“I listened to a podcast the other day,” she begins, “About cunnilingus. The host said the best advice she’s ever gotten was to google wielding techniques.”
You raise your eyebrows in confusion, “Huh?”
Vada reaches for her phone on the bedside table, quickly unlocking it and typing something in the search bar. She selects a random picture and shows you the screen.
There are indeed blueprints of what looks like wielding seams, going from bottom to the top. The arrows are forming different patterns – there are zig-zags, crescents, a circular seam and a ‘figure 8’ seam...
For all the ridiculousness, they do seem... practical.
You smile and grab the phone, turning it off and tossing it somewhere back on the bed.
Of course she would do that – research stuff. It’s so fucking endearing it prompts you to wrap your hands around her neck and press a kiss to her cheek.
“Why not stick to the usual alphabet thing, hm?” You offer, “I can tell which letter I’d love the most.”
You lean in to whisper into her ear huskily, “It’s ‘V’.”
Vada shudders, making you smile. Then her hands grasp at your hips, tugging you closer, and your breath hitches at her sudden assertiveness.
The brunette bends her knees so that she’s level with your center and parts your legs slowly. You curse under your breath – you’re pretty much drenched right through your panties, and if Vada was just slightly more sober, she’d probably tease you about it, too. You’re glad she isn’t.
She leans in closer instead, tongue lolling out and pressing against your clothed cunt, licking a stripe up the smeared wetness there. Her fingers slip under the waistband of your underwear, and you tilt your hips up a bit to help her take it off, the movement causing your heat to press further into her mouth, making you whine.
Your panties are off, and so is Vada’s tongue.
She stares long enough for you to feel a bit conscious about yourself, and you move to close your legs on instinct, but her hands keep them apart. She hooks your ankles over her shoulders, shoots you a warning look. Her dark gaze makes you clench around nothing. The shyness and uncertainty is gone like it wasn’t even there.
You’re not sure if it’s weed, or if you’re being tricked, but this version of Vada is... new. Extremely hot, too.
She lowers herself so that she’s inches away from your pussy, her warm breath fanning your swollen clit – you're so strung up that you’re starting to feel a second heartbeat in between your legs. Vada looks up at you again, making sure you’re watching her as she flattens her tongue along your slit, collecting all the warm slick that leaked out from the moment she had you on her lap. She lets out a satisfied groan, and you sigh, hips buckling to meet her.
Despite all your confidence, you feel yourself crumble at the first touch of your girlfriend’s mouth on you – you’ve always preferred this over any kind of penetration, and Vada’s eagerness to please you doesn’t help.
She withdraws for a moment, and you find yourself missing her immediately.
“Is this okay?” She asks, palms caressing your thighs to soothe you.
“Don’t make me beg.” You breathe with a chuckle.
She laps at your folds, groaning at the saccharine warmth of your arousal coating her tongue – then leans back again, and you’re almost whining before she reaches her thumb to rub at your swollen clit, her breathing heavy as she watches you gush around nothing.
“Baby.” You whine pathetically, your knees coming together to try and push her face into you.
Vada doesn’t seem to be bothered in the slightest, her digit circling your sensitive spot, never taking her eyes away, “Hm?”
“Please,” you murmur, voice stifled by the hot arousal burning in your veins, “Want your mouth, baby. Want to cum on your tongue, please.”
The brunette digs her fingers into the soft flesh of your hips before wrapping her plump lips around your clit, gently sucking, and your thighs tighten around her head at the sudden overwhelmingly good feeling coursing through your body. You almost can’t believe how good it feels – how good Vada is, almost naturally talented at making your toes curl as she mouths at your dripping pussy, keeping a burning grip on your quivering legs. The immense amount of pleasure is so sudden you’re practically sobbing her name, your stomach tensing and hips bucking with each calculated flick of the girl’s tongue. The sheets under you are considerably darker than the rest, a pool of your cum along with the brunette’s spit dampening the area.
You’ve heard that drugs can expand your consciousness, but to such a degree that has you seeing stars as Vada eats you out like it’s her second nature...
Her tongue slips between your walls suddenly, causing you to arch your back into the air, hips rolling into her face. Her tongue continues to lap confidently, going in circles around your entrance. A shaky sigh leaves your lungs, and you have to clench your eyes shut.
“Vada, oh my god,” you breathe shakily, your voice tight and high, feeling you stomach coil, “I'm gonna cum– Fuck, fuck, Vada."
Her lips find your clit again, and that’s what sends you over the edge, your thighs clasping around her head so tight she swears her ears start to ring.
You shiver as the brunette drinks you up hungrily, your legs easing their hold on her, chest heaving with shuddering gasps.
“Oh, Vada. Fuck,” you mutter, resting your forearm over your eyes as you try to calm your speeding heart, “That was so... so good, baby. I think you lied to me. Either that, or you’re... a natural.” You chuckle breathlessly, raising a shaky hand to swipe some stray hairs from your forehead.
Your legs move to unhook themselves from the girl’s shoulders, taking pity on her most likely strained muscles, but Vada’s grip turns bruising on your legs. You’re pushed back further into the pillows suddenly, and before you can let out a single peep in alarm, she’s on you again.
Her hands reach to grasp under your knees, bending your legs up, your pussy spread open for her. She doesn’t relent — her hands hold your thighs as she all but buries her face in your heat, the movements of her tongue harsh. Fast. Merciless.
The sudden aggressiveness makes you let out a broken moan, your hands darting to tread through Vada’s hair, wanting her closer but away at the same time, the painful pleasure too much for your scrambled mush of a brain to handle.
“Oh my god, Vada!”
She leans away for a moment to trace two separate stripes from your entrance up to your clit with the tip of her tongue, and you whine, your foggy mind realizing that she has actually just done the letter thing, before she’s back on you like a hungry beast, jaw hanging open to wrap her mouth around your seizing cunt with an obscene slurping sound.
Your back arches as you cum harder than before, throwing your head back against bed and squeezing your eyes shut, your girlfriend’s name tumbling out of your mouth in an almost pornographic moan. You whine as Vada laps at your center with purpose, licking you clean, before pulling away mercifully.
There’s a cocky wolfish grin on the brunette’s face as she watches you open your eyes slowly, trying to compose yourself.
“How was that for a notch on your belt, hm?”
Shit. If you didn’t just experience the most intense orgasm in your life, you’d scoff at the smugness of her tone.
“I’m gonna be honest... I wasn’t sure I’d be into... that,” you say shakily, “But I guess I am now. Jesus Christ, Vada.”
“Just Vada is fine.” She gently caresses your hips, leans down to kiss your jaw lovingly, “Now...”
Her fingers lift the hem of your shirt up to your chest, blunt nails grazing the flesh under your breasts – she watches them rise and fall with your unsteady breaths.
“How about I salt the earth behind me so that no one ever stands a chance of owning you the way I do?”

“Honey, I’m home,” Vada called out, stopping you in your tracks on the way to the bathroom.
You couldn’t help smiling at Vada’s ridiculous phrase that she had started using whenever she got back to the shared apartment. If you were being honest, you couldn’t remember when she had started it; it hadn’t been too long after you had first agreed to rent an apartment together with her friends Mia and Nick. All you knew was one day she practically crashed into the apartment, said her now-famous tagline, and it stuck.
The best part of it all? She only ever said it to you. Never to Mia, never to Nick, only to you. It made your crush on her grow each time, even though you certainly didn’t need the help. Just the words alone had your stomach twisting into knots in the most delicious way.
And that little dumbass didn’t even know what she was doing.
“Don’t you have another class?” You asked with a tilt of your head. It was a bit too early for her to be home, especially on a Tuesday.
“Skipped it,” she said with her cheesy grin that never failed to make your heart race. “Why take Lit when I can have you teach me?”
“That’s not how it works, V,” you chuckled. “I can’t give you credit.”
“But you can- are you getting in the shower?”
There it was; the attention change. It happened a bit sooner than usual, but you weren’t entirely surprised. At first you had been confused at Vada’s change of topic and attention at such a fast pace, but now it was expected. At least she looked cute.
“Yes I am,” you said with a nod. “Did the towel give it away?”
“It’s Tuesday,” Vada said, completely ignoring your attempt at teasing her. “You don’t shower on Tuesdays.”
Ah. So she did pay attention to a few things.
“I got asked on a date,” you shrugged.
“A date?” She asked incredulously. Rude. “With who?”
You sighed and leaned against the doorframe. “Know that guy from my Fluid Flow class? Jacob?”
“The one with the stupid lip piercing?”
“It’s not stupid,” you said with a huff. “But yes.”
“You agreed to go on a date with him?” Vada asked incredulously. “What happened to your standards?”
“It’s not like I’m getting asked on many dates,” you argued.
“But him?” She continued.
“Well who else should I go with?” You asked. “You?”
Vada froze, her mouth still flopping open at the revelation of your plans for the evening. You wanted her to tell you not to go. To say that yes, you should go on a date with her. Maybe you were being a bit cruel to just not tell her, but you wanted her to say something. Although in hindsight maybe you shouldn’t have expected Vada Cavell to pick up on all the signs you had given her.
Which were numerous.
She shifted her weight and looked down at her feet. You could see her scuffing the toe of her shoe into the floor, a nervous habit of hers. Part of you got hopeful; she was nervous, maybe she would finally say something. Hell, you would be happy if she simply said she didn’t want you to go.
“You should go shower,” she finally said, and you felt your heart drop. “I’ll help you pick out what to wear once you’re out.”
“Right,” you said with a sigh.
The entire time you were in the shower you were seething. No, not quite seething, you were disappointed. You knew it was a bit unrealistic of you to expect Vada to know how you were feeling, especially about her, but you couldn’t help it. How could she not see that you wanted her to ask you on a date? Yes you should just do it yourself, especially at this point, but you weren’t going to risk anything.
Your father would’ve just told you to task her on your own. You were the one with the feelings, you should ask. And he would have been right, you knew that, but you didn’t want to ask. What if Vada didn’t actually like you that way? She acted goofy with Mia and Nick too, so you couldn’t use that as justification for your hopes.
By the time you got out of the shower and finished getting ready, Vada was already waiting in your room. She was hanging her head upside down on the bed while scrolling through her phone. Her brows were scrunched in an adorable frown from whatever she was looking at. The minute she noticed you standing in the doorway, she smiled wide and sat up.
“About time,” she said as she stood up and went to your closet, “I’ve got the perfect thing for tonight.”
“Perfect as in “I’ll look great” or as in “it’ll get me laid?” Because there’s a difference,” you said as you sat down on the bed and waited for Vada to come out of the closet.
Ha. You might be disappointed, but at least you were still funny. See? That was what Vada was missing out on and she didn’t even know it!
“Perfect as in “he’d be stupid not to ask you out again”,” she said with a grin as she turned around to show you what she had picked.
“Vada that’s,” you exhaled slowly, “that’s the most mundane outfit I’ve got.”
“Which is why he’d be stupid not to ask you out again,” she said, tossing everything your way. “I won’t look, promise.”
“Gee, thanks,” you mumbled to yourself as you nonetheless stood up and got dressed.
Part of you was thankful Vada had picked out a regular outfit; at least it was comfortable, and that was always a plus. Did you think Jacob would ask you out again? Absolutely not, he was a frat boy, you knew he wouldn’t ask you out again the moment you decided you weren’t going to put out. At least you would be comfortable when you were rejected.
“How do I look?” You asked, and Vada turned around so quickly she nearly fell.
The moment she actually managed to focus on you, she fell into what looked like a daze. Her jaw dropped and her eyes were looking you up and down. And for a moment, she looked like she wanted to say something. Say it, you mentally urged her, tell me to stay. You played with your fingers and watched her with hopeful eyes.
“You’re so getting laid tonight,” she whispered.
“Yippee,” you said with another huff. She was getting a lot of those out of you tonight.
“You’d better get going,” she said as she practically pushed you out of your room toward the front door. “You don’t want to be late.”
“Thought you didn’t like Jacob?” You asked.
“I don’t, but I wanna watch a movie,” she said, now opening the front door. “And you’re not invited.”
“Well that’s just rude,” you said.
“Have fun!” Vada called out as she shut the front door in your face.
You just stood there in complete shock. Had you really just gotten kicked out of your own apartment by the girl you were quite possibly in love with? Simply because she wanted to watch a movie? It was so on par for Vada that you honestly weren’t even surprised.
The door opened again and you looked in, hopeful that Vada had changed her mind. She stood in the doorway and looked at you again. Please ask me to stay, you silently begged her. But then she pushed something into your arms, which you scrambled to hold onto.
“Forgot your phone and wallet,” she said before slamming the door shut again. “Have fun!”
“Oh fuck me,” you grumbled, but nonetheless put your phone and wallet in your back pocket and left the apartment.
—---
Life sucked. It sucked and it was out to get you personally. You could get over the fact that it had started raining on the walk over to the restaurant. Then there was the fact that you had gotten lost at least three times, but that could also be forgiven. And your phone dying? Well, that was also shitty even though you had forgotten to charge it at home, so it happened.
But then you got to the restaurant and sat at the bar, like you were supposed to, and waited. And then you ordered a drink and waited some more. And some more. And wouldn’t you know it, an hour and a half and three drinks later, you were closing your tab and heading back to the apartment. The apartment that you had been kicked out of by someone who was supposed to pick up on your cues.
There was just enough alcohol in your system to have you thoroughly pissed off by the time you got back to the apartment. You could smell the weed from out in the hallway and knew Vada was either high as a kite or well on her way to it. Normally you wouldn’t care; she was respectful with it and was, honestly, pretty adorable under the influence.
Unfortunately for Vada, it just wasn’t your night.
You unintentionally slammed the door shut behind you when you entered, leaning back against it to get yourself back under control. The music was loud and obnoxious and the smell of weed was giving you a headache. Or maybe it was the alcohol. Or maybe it was the fact you got stood up. Actually, maybe it was just everything.
“Nick?” Vada’s voice came from her room. At least she wasn’t smoking out in the living room like you had initially thought.
“Just me,” you called back before exhaling slowly and walking further into the apartment. The sloshing sound of your wet shoes on the floor was horrible.
“Y/N?” Something fell to the floor with a hard thud. You looked down the hallway until you saw Vada practically falling out of her room, hitting the opposite wall fairly hard. “You’re back early.”
“Yup,” you said, popping the “p” for emphasis.
“So… did he like your outfit?” She asked as she stood up, her hands instantly going to play with the hem of her shirt. Wait… was that your shirt?
“I don’t know,” you said before finally tossing your soaking wet wallet and hopefully-dry phone onto the couch. “He never showed.”
“What?” Vada asked incredulously, her sleepy eyes suddenly widening.
You huffed. “He stood me up, V.”
“But… but he asked you,” she said in a soft voice.
“It’s whatever,” you said with a sigh as you made your way into your room with Vada hot on your heels. “He wasn’t exactly the one I wanted anyway.”
“He wasn’t?” She asked. You didn’t bother turning around to look at her as you started digging in your closet for something dry to put on. “Then why did you say yes?”
“Because I was hoping a certain someone would get the hint,” you grumbled. Truthfully you didn’t care if she even heard you or not. She was high, it was not the proper time for this revelation to come out.
“If they didn’t get the hint then they’re a complete dumbass,” she said after a moment of silence. You closed your eyes and exhaled slowly once again. “Because they’d be stupid not to ask you out.”
“Yeah they would,” you agreed quickly before grabbing a t-shirt from your closet. “Don’t look.”
You checked over your shoulder to see Vada on your bed, dutifully covering her eyes with both hands. Why did she have to actually listen? You were standing in the middle of your room, soaking wet, about to take your shirt off, and she wasn’t going to look? Dammit, Vada, lose your morals!
“Anyone would be lucky to date you,” she said while you peeled your wet clothes off. “And if they don’t realise that then they’re an idiot.”
“Keep talking, Cavell,” you mumbled to yourself; you knew she couldn’t hear you.
“If I ever had the chance to date you, I certainly wouldn’t screw it up,” she continued talking.
Now that had you slowing your movements, taking your time to finish kicking your pants off. It left you in your shirt and underwear, but that wasn’t on your mind. You slowly turned to look at Vada, who still had her hands over her eyes, as you went over her words.
Did she really think that? Was that the sign you had needed to know that she actually liked you back? Yes you had been playing this game for around three years at that point. And yes, you should have said something ages ago, even your dad had said so. But was she admitting that she liked you?
“Who said you didn’t have a chance?” You asked slowly, your eyes still glued to where Vada was playfully swinging her legs over the side of your bed.
“Who said I did have a chance?” She asked in reply. “I’m not stupid, I’m not your type.” You stepped closer to the bed. “Your type is a bunch of nerds who are way below your league.” You sat down on the bed beside her. “Which you should change, by the way, you can do so much better than all those other-”
-you leaned forward to capture Vada’s lips with yours, silencing her rant. It wasn’t a long kiss, you didn’t want to give off the wrong idea. Or maybe you did, you weren’t sure yet. All you knew was she was going to keep talking until she either fell asleep or you silenced her, and honestly, a kiss was the best way. It killed two birds with one stone.
When you pulled away, you watched as her hands pulled down her face and she looked up at you. Her eyes were still bloodshot and you could still smell the weed on her clothes, but she was looking at you clearly. There was a slight flush to her freckled cheeks, and you would have kissed her again if it meant she would stay looking just like that.
“You kissed me,” she said softly.
“Yeah,” you said with a nod and a poor attempt at hiding your smile. “I did.”
“I thought you liked someone though?”
“Oh my god,” you groaned. “Are you serious?”
“What?” She asked as she sat up. “Are you serious? What about that person you like-”
“-I like you, Vada,” you practically shouted. She fell silent, something she didn’t do often. “You’re the other person that I like.”
“You- you like me?” She asked with wide eyes. “Me?”
“For fuck’s sake,” you groaned, “yes you.”
Vada nodded slowly as her eyes fell to a spot on the bed, close to where your hand was resting. You could practically see the gears turning in her head, going over this new revelation. Part of you was upset at yourself for telling her such a thing now, when you were grumpy and a little tipsy and she was high and unexpecting. Terrible timing, really.
“I thought I was the only one with those feelings,” she finally said, slowly so as to get her thoughts out properly. Something you adored about her. “That you weren’t interested.”
“Vada, I’ve been dropping hints for the past year,” you said with a soft sight. Not a frustrated one, simply to break the tension. “Even Nick and Mia knew.”
“I didn’t want to assume,” she said without looking at you. “I didn’t want to risk not having you around just because I caught feelings.”
“You don’t just catch feelings, you know,” you said as you leaned forward a little more so you could force her to look at you.
“And you really do like me?” She asked, looking up into your eyes; suddenly, she seemed a hell of a lot more sober. “Like, for real?”
“What is this, high school?” You asked with a snort. “Yes, Vada, I like you for real.”
“So does that mean I can kiss you again?” She asked, perking up at the mere thought. “Because your lips are really soft and I think I could kiss them forever if you would let me-”
-you leaned forward and kissed her again, immediately cutting her off. But this time you didn’t pull back; you leaned even further into her, your hand moving to rest on the back of her neck. She grabbed you by the front of your shirt and pulled until she was laying down and you were leaning over her.
“Wait,” she mumbled against your lips, “you like me enough to have sex with me, right?”
“Just shut up, V,” you groaned as you kissed her again.
She didn’t argue.
You weren’t sure if you should blame it on the alcohol, or the weed, or the revelation of it all, but you weren’t in the mood to be patient. Night after night you had dreamed of having Vada in your bed, teasing her until she was a mess underneath you. But now that you had her, you just wanted to hear her fall apart.
Clearly she was in the same mood as you because her hands quickly found their way under your shirt until they brushed against your ribs. It tickled and sent a shiver down your spine, which you felt her smile about. You knew it wasn’t a competition. That didn’t stop you from placing your knee between her thighs and pressing up against her.
“Oh shit,” she groaned against your lips as her nails scratched against your skin.
You kept your knee stationary as she grinding against it hesitantly. Even through her boxers you could feel how wet she was; it wouldn’t take long before she left your thigh wet too. You started kissing your way across her jaw, leaving small kisses below her ear before moving down her neck.
Her hands left a fire in their wake as she moved them up, quickly sliding them up to your breasts that were no longer confined by the wet bra you had been wearing earlier. You both inhaled sharply when she brushed her knuckles against your nipples; her hips stuttered for only a moment before resuming.
“Hang on,” Vada whispered into your ear, and you stiffened before sitting up.
Had you done something wrong? There hadn’t been much, but what if she had decided she wasn’t okay with it anymore? It was fine, you would respect it and wouldn’t do anything else, but fuck. Fuck, maybe you had just pushed it a little too fast. You knew you should have kept your cool.
“Take it off,” she said as she pulled on your shirt lightly before struggling to get her own shirt off.
Oh. Oh right.
“Never hesitate to free the titties,” she said with a cheesy smile.
“Never say that again,” you groaned, only smiling when your shirt was hiding your face.
“I just know how to appreciate a- holy shit.”
You watched Vada’s jaw drop - again - once your shirt was finally off. Her eyes were zeroed in on one thing. Well, two things, and even though you felt a little self-conscious, you knew it was just Vada. No, not just Vada, it was your Vada. Who was still halfway in her shirt and clearly too distracted to continue.
“You’re such a horndog,” you mumbled as you leaned forward to help her pull her shirt the rest of the way over her head.
“I hit the jackpot,” she whispered.
“Just lay back down,” you said as you pushed her shoulder lightly and watched her fall back onto the bed, her eyes still glued to your breasts.
“I can still touch?” She asked.
“Yes, V,” you chuckled, “you can still touch.”
“Oh fuck yes,” she whispered before pulling you back in for a kiss.
Just as you figured, her hands instantly found your breasts again. Each touch sent a tingling sensation down to your core. Maybe you shouldn’t have mentally teased Vada earlier for being so wet. Even though you had no proof yet, you just knew you were going to be soaked if this went on much longer.
While Vada continued focusing on her newest obsession, you just let yourself feel her. Her skin was so incredibly soft and warm. It was exactly what you had expected from her. The muscles in her stomach tensed underneath your fingers before relaxing again. When you brushed your knuckles against her hip, she giggled into your mouth.
“I’m ticklish,” she said.
“I can tell,” you answered with your own smile and another kiss.
“You’re just being too soft,” she continued. Oh Vada. You kept moving your hand. “Soft touches tickle.” Your hand effortlessly slipped past the waistband of her boxers that were far too big. “Especially on my hips-”
-she stopped herself with a moan when you finally managed to rub your fingers over her clit. Oh god she was wet, you almost struggled to stay in the right spot. But when you heard her moan again, her head thrown back against your mattress, well it was worth the struggle.
“Fuck you’re good at this,” Vada managed to gasp out when you circled her clit again.
“Baby?”
“Yeah?”
“Shut up,” you mumbled before leaving kisses on Vada’s neck. Her hands tangled in your hair as she pulled you up into a real kiss.
“Did you have a martini tonight?” Vada asked.
“Seriously?”
“You taste like a martini,” she said, her breath coming out in huffs as you continued to slowly circle her clit. Not enough to get her off, but fast enough to keep building her up.
And then it hit you. Oh. Oh, Vada was nervous. You had both talked of your personal exploits and experiences so you knew she wasn’t a virgin. Yet she had always seemed a bit bashful about the whole thing. It all made sense now; she was simply nervous.
You removed your hand and tried not to smile at Vada’s whine at the loss of sensation. But she quickly shut up when you grabbed one of her hands and slid it under your own underwear, doing your best not to moan at the feel of her fingers on you. And just as you had expected, and much like Vada, you were soaked. Embarrassingly so.
“Holy fuck,” Vada groaned against your lips before leaning up and capturing your lips.
She bit your bottom lip when you replaced your hand and continued circling her clit. Usually you would tease, but with Vada? Right then and there, when you were so humiliatingly sensitive and probably wouldn’t last very long? No, you wanted to make her cum until she was seeing stars.
And as you moved your fingers faster, you knew it wouldn’t take long. It was in the little pants and moans she let out, the squirming of her hips, the spastic movements of her fingers. Not that you could judge, you were losing your rhythm as well, doing your best to keep your composure even as she continued to turn you to putty under her fingers.
“I’m close,” she panted.
Thank god, you thought as you rubbed your finger in faster, tighter circles. Unlike Vada, you couldn’t bring yourself to talk, knowing the second you opened your mouth you would let out a moan that would haunt you for the rest of your life. It was only a few more seconds before Vada pulled back, her eyes squeezed shut as she stilled beneath you. Her fingers continued moving, and you felt your own orgasm wash over you. You let out a groan as you rutted against her fingers to chase the high, only letting yourself fall beside her when the feeling had dissipated.
“Holy shit,” Vada whispered. “We can do that again, right?”
“Oh my god,” you chuckled as you lifted your hands to cover your eyes. “We just finished.”
“But we can do it again, right?” She asked.
You rolled over onto your side and looked at her. At the sheen of sweat covering her half-naked body and left her practically glowing under the singular ceiling light in your room. The rise and fall of her chest that was slowly but steadily returning back to normal. The absolutely stunning smile on her face that had your chest feeling warm and your stomach swarming with butterflies.
“How about we shower and then sleep,” you suggested. “And maybe we can do it again tomorrow.”
Vada turned her head to look at you, her smile still present although looking a little more mischievous.
“Can we do it in the shower?”
“Never mind, I’m going without you.”
“Wait, hang on!”
You smiled to yourself as you quickly shut the bathroom door behind you, effectively locking Vada out. She stomped her foot - which you could imagine perfectly - before walking off. You half expected her to stay gone until you heard more shuffling on the other side and something slid under the door. With a half-cocked head, you picked up the piece of paper.
No boobs? :(
“Not anymore,” you called out through the door, to which Vada replied with a groan as she finally walked away, presumably to your room.
As you got in the shower, you couldn’t help but smile. Maybe you should thank Jacob for standing you up. He had accidentally made a fantastic wingman.

the chase
pairing: vada cavell x reader
summary: in which you and vada play a game of cat and mouse
warnings: none
word count: 4100+
author's note: does this make any sense? great question!
Tumblr media
The moment Vada slipped into the passenger’s seat of Nick’s car, words were flying out of his mouth faster than she could comprehend, which was saying a lot considering how often she’d find herself rambling about the most random of things.
“Where were you yesterday?” he started as he shifted the car into drive, beginning their short ride to school. “I called you seven times, and you didn’t answer once. It was Sunday, and you do nothing on Sundays! I was beginning to think you were dead until I texted your mom and--”
Vada shook her head. “Wait, slow down. Back up. You text my mom? When did you get her number?”
He waved her off. “Not important. What is important is you telling me what you were doing yesterday.” He rolled past a stop sign, barely even glancing in its direction as he drove past. “I mean, seven calls, V, and you answered not a single one! So, what were you doing?”
She grinned, giggling in her seat at what she was about to reveal. “I had a date!”
Almost immediately, Nick whipped his head to look at her, his eyes wide and his mouth agape. “With who?!” he practically shouted.
Vada reached out, took his chin between her forefinger and thumb, and turned his head back in the direction of the windshield. “Eyes on the road, stupid. I’m not trying to die today.”
His grip on the steering wheel tightened. “Vada, if you don’t tell me who you went on a date with in the next five seconds, I’ll purposely drive us into oncoming traffic.”
“You’re so dramatic,” she teased with a roll of her eyes. He glared at her quickly before focusing on the road again. She bit her lip, trying to quell the excitement raging in her stomach as she said, “It was with Y/N.”
The car skidded to a stop and Vada was jolted forward, her seatbelt pressing tight against her body.
“Dude, what the fuck--” she began, but she was silenced as Nick twisted in his seat, his eyes hard as they set on her and his frown so defined that it made her uncomfortable.
“What,” he deadpanned.
She rubbed at her chest, right where the seat belt had dug into her. “What?” she asked, confused.
“You went on a date with…Y/N? Popular Y/N? Like, most-popular-girl-in-school Y/N?”
Vada tilted her head. “Uh, yeah?”
“Why the fu--” Nick was interrupted by a car honking at him. He threw his arm up in annoyance before starting to drive again, and Vada gulped as he stewed in his seat. “I can’t believe you went on a date with Y/N!”
“Why are you saying it like that?” Vada asked. She shifted, disliking the tension that was starting to fill the air. “You make it sound like a bad thing. I thought you’d be excited! I finally went on my first date with a girl! You’ve been waiting for this moment since the second I came out to you.”
“First of all, I’ve been waiting for this moment since the second I met you, because, baby, the closet is glass.” He took a hard right. The school loomed up ahead. “Secondly, I wanted you to go on a date with basically anyone other than Y/N.”
Vada furrowed her eyebrows. “I’m not that obviously bisexual.” Silence filled the car and she huffed, crossing her arms. “Fine, maybe I am. But why is going out with Y/N such a bad thing? She’s funny and cute and really smart. Basically, she’s perfect.”
“She’s not perfect, V,” Nick said, sitting up a little straighter as he pulled into the parking lot. “Haven’t you ever noticed that she’s got a new girl hanging off of her every month?” Vada’s stomach dropped, a sudden sense of anxiety flooding through her veins. “I mean, she goes through girls like you go through sugar.”
“No she doesn’t,” Vada tried, but her denial fell on deaf ears.
“She’s the biggest player this school has,” Nick said, leaning forward as he tried to pull into his designated parking spot. “She’s probably the biggest player in the damn county. She chases after a girl, stays with her for a few weeks, gets bored, and then does it all over again.” He turned to her as he shifted the gear into park. “Vada, she’s worse than John Tucker.”
“Are you seriously referencing a movie right now?” She scoffed and unbuckled her seatbelt. “She’s not like that.”
“Fine,” Nick conceded. “But when you get hurt, don’t say I didn’t warn you. She’s just in it for the chase.”
Vada clambered out of the car and pulled her backpack onto her shoulder. “And when we live happily ever after,” she started as she and Nick started to walk into the school, “I’ll say ‘I told you so’.”
He glanced at her before looking forward, his eyes widening. “...I’m not so sure about that one, V.”
She frowned and followed Nick’s line of sight, a sharp pain shooting through her at what she saw. You had your back pressed against your locker, trapped there by Stacey from Vada’s history class, who had her hand flat against the metal and was leaning close to you. Stacey was batting her eyelashes and giggling, and you were smiling along.
“Oh,” Vada said, voice quiet and small. She tore her eyes away and blinked hard, looking back up at Nick. “Well, I guess you were right.”
He offered her a pitiful smile. “I’m sorry, V. But, you should be glad you won’t be another girl stuck in her revolving door of girls.”
“Yeah,” she said, voice low and filled with sorrow. “So happy.”
Nick wrapped his arm around her shoulder, leading her toward his own locker. “Don’t be so sad. It’s for the best.”
Vada glanced away. “I just don’t get it. I mean, if she’s in it for the chase, then why is she flirting with another girl? Was I not good enough to chase?” She frowned. “Am I just too boring? Or do I talk too much?” She looked up at Nick. “Nick, be honest with me, do I talk too much? Could that turn someone off?”
“Yes,” he said simply, nodding his head. Vada huffed. He pulled away as the two reached his locker and focused on putting his combination into the lock. “Don’t think too far into it, though. I don’t think you wanna go through the pain of it anyway.” He shrugged and then hit the metal door when it wouldn’t open. “Stupid, old locker.” He glanced at her. “You’d just end up getting your heart broken.”
Vada sighed and leaned against the locker beside Nick’s, her shoulder pressing against the cool metal. “That’s dumb. And unfair. And not very nice.”
Nick’s locker door finally popped open. “Just ignore her from now on, okay?” He glanced at her and started to put his books into his locker. “Don’t talk to her, don’t text her, don’t even think about her. ‘Y/N Y/L/N who?’ That’s how you should be acting.”
She nodded hesitantly. “Okay. I guess I can do that.”
“Good.” He slammed the door shut. “Now let’s go to class.”

The first few periods rolled by smoothly. Vada had no classes with you until after lunch, and she didn’t even get a glimpse of you in the hallways. While part of her was still disheartened by your act, she also agreed with Nick’s words: it was probably for the best that she didn’t get tangled up with you.
That is, until she asked to use the bathroom during her science class, and upon walking inside, found you standing by the sinks, fixing your hair in the mirror. Almost immediately, your eyes landed on her figure through the reflection and you grinned, showing all your pearly-white teeth, before turning around to face her. Vada’s breath was practically sucked from her lungs as she stared at you.
“Vada! Hey!” you greeted, voice happy and excited.
It made Vada uncomfortable, how easily you were able to put on that mask. Nick’s voice rang in her head: Don’t talk to her. She bounced on the balls of her feet before promptly making the decision to hide in one of the stalls, slipping away from your field of vision without a word.
“Oh…kay…” she heard you say. There was the shuffling of your feet before she could see your shoes beneath the stall door. “Text me, okay? I had fun yesterday.” You turned and Vada listened as your footsteps receded.
When she knew she was finally alone, she let out the breath she had been holding and leaned forward, her forehead bumping against the metal of the stall.
“C’mon, Vada, get it together,” she mumbled. “She’s a player. She doesn’t want anything from you.” She clamped her eyes shut and shook her head. “She doesn’t want you.”
That was the mantra that repeated in her head for the entire day. It was what she heard when she saw you during lunch, waving at her from across the cafeteria. She reminded herself of it when you sat down beside her during English class and tried to make conversation, to which she entirely ignored you--it did hurt her heart a little when she saw your wide eyes and jutted out bottom lip when you realized she wouldn’t talk to you, but she tried to ignore that, too.
It all came to a head at the end of the day, when Vada was trying to pile as many of her books as she possibly could into her backpack. She was almost done when you sidled up beside her, a gleaming smile on your face and your hands tucked sheepishly in the back pockets of your jeans.
“Hey,” you said softly, like Vada was a scared animal that would run away.
She swallowed, half of her so desperately wanting to talk to you and ask why you would ask her out just to play with her, while the other half of her was set in her stubborn way of not speaking a word to you. The latter half won as she shut her locker door and walked away, but she couldn’t shake you.
You followed beside her, looking down at her as you walked. “I don’t know what happened between yesterday and today, or if you’re just having an off day or something, but I really did have fun on our date, and I’d like to take you on another one.”
She glanced up at you, unable to stop the quickening of her pulse. What if you were telling the truth? She shook her head, Nick’s words in her ear: Don’t even think about her.
Vada managed to lose you in the crowd of students all trying to exit the school at once, but she still heard your voice call over the sound of everyone else.
“I’ll text you then!”
Something about your determination made her want to melt right into your arms, but she stood up a little straighter and continued walking. You didn’t actually want her, she reminded herself. You just liked the chase.
* * *
After a night full of text messages from you that Vada never answered, she sauntered into school the next day with Nick by her side, completely set on avoiding you as much as she could. Unfortunately for both her and Nick, it seemed like you wanted to make that impossible.
The minute she passed through the front doors, you were walking beside her, a bouquet of flowers in hand. Vada glanced at them quickly, feeling butterflies stir in her stomach at the sight, but Nick slapped her on the hand, forcing her to keep her stoic face as she picked up the pace and tried to walk away.
“What, do you not like roses?” you asked, just a step behind the pair. You sounded dejected, defeated--some part of Vada felt bad; the other part thought ‘good. she should feel bad’. After a moment of silence from you, she heard the smallest, “Well, okay,” and when she looked over her shoulder, you were gone, the roses sticking out of the top of the nearest trash can. It was a depressing sight to see.
She sighed. “I feel kind of bad, Nick,” she admitted, and the boy shook his head.
“Don’t,” he said firmly. “She deserves to be humbled for once.” He scoffed. “She can’t just have anyone she wants and then throw them away when she gets bored because she’s pretty and popular. And she most certainly can’t do that to you.”
“But, yesterday she said that she had fun on our date and wants to go on another one. What if she was telling the truth? What if she actually likes me?”
Nick shook his head again. “It’s all part of her sick game. She wants you to fall for her, and then she’ll pull the rug right out from under you.” He patted Vada on the shoulder. “Trust me; she’s bad news.”
Vada glanced back over her shoulder again, and this time she found you in the same position as the day before--leaning back against your locker with Stacey standing in front of you, twirling a strand of her hair around her finger.
Your eyes flitted toward her for a split second, wide and forlorn, before they were focusing on Stacey again. You broke out into a grin, throwing your head back as you laughed.
“Right,” Vada grumbled, an ache forming in her chest and radiating throughout the rest of her body. “Bad news.”
* * *
The ‘bad news’ didn’t seem so bad anymore when, in the middle of English class, Vada was tapped on the shoulder by the boy behind her. When she twisted around to see what he wanted, he unceremoniously shoved a folded piece of paper in her direction, a scowl on his face as he waited for her to take it.
With furrowed eyebrows and a frown, Vada grabbed the paper and turned back in her seat, glancing up at her teacher to make sure he wasn’t watching as she unfolded the sheet.
Vada,
Thought I might try the old-fashioned way. Are you free on Friday night? The drive-in is showing The Princess Diaries, and I remember you saying you had a crush on Anne Hathaway. Wanna go together?
Y/N :)
Vada glanced toward the back of the room, where you had found yourself sitting that day, and saw you already looking at her, hope painting your face prettily. She cursed herself internally at the butterflies in her stomach as she looked back at the note you had sent forward. It was cute--she’d give you that--and she was tempted to say yes, but the image of Stacey flirting with you flitted through her mind, and that was enough for her to crumple the paper in her hand.
She didn’t look back at you.
* * *
The rest of the day passed without incident: you didn’t try to speak to her in the halls, and by the time she went to sleep, Vada hadn’t received a single text from you. Just before she drifted off for the night, she briefly thought that you had given up--perhaps you had grown so used to girls falling into your lap that chasing Vada was just too much energy that you didn’t want to use.
She was proven wrong when she woke up to a voicemail from you in the morning. You had called her late at night--the timestamp reading nearly three o’clock--and when Vada played the message aloud, your voice filling her room, shame bloomed in her stomach.
“Hey,” you started, your voice quiet and scratchy. “It’s me. Or, it’s Y/N. I--I don’t know if you’ve deleted my number or something. I just…Look, I know it hasn’t been long since our date, but…” You sighed, and Vada could hear the faintest sound of a sniffle. “The cold shoulder from you doesn’t feel great. I just wanna know where we stand. I had fun on Sunday. Uh, it’s okay if you didn’t. I just wish you would tell me.” You sniffled again. “I guess if you don’t answer this, that’s my answer. Yeah, okay. I’ll see you in school.”
Vada threw herself back into her pillows with a sigh. She ran a hand down her face, groaning. “Fuck,” she mumbled. “Fuck.” You sounded so sincere in the voicemail, but what if that were just another one of your ploys? What if you did this with every girl? What if—
“Bitch, why the fuck are you still in bed?” Nick asked as he burst into Vada’s bedroom.
She groaned again, throwing her legs up and down like a small toddler not getting their way. Her heart was pulling toward you, but her brain was trying to run away from you as fast as possible. She was torn, and she had no idea what to do.
Luckily for her, she was given more time to think than she had expected. You were absent that day, your missing presence a large hole in her day. There was no one to offer her flowers, or to try to pass her notes during class, or to wave at her in the cafeteria. As much as she hated admitting it to herself, she still liked you, and the lack of you carved a deep pit into her stomach.
That night, when there was still no sign of you--no texts or calls or even posts on any social media--she fell asleep with worry itching beneath her veins and guilt pricking at her chest.
The next morning wasn’t any better. Anxiety sat heavy like a rock in Vada’s stomach as she got ready, while Nick sang some random song in the car, when she walked through the parking lot and into school.
Her eyes immediately flitted toward your locker, a mixture of relief and sorrow surging through her at the sight of you standing there, alone, but with your head hung and your eyes trained on your feet. You were in sweatpants and a baggy hoodie. It was all completely unlike you.
“Nick,” she called, getting the boy’s attention. She subtly pointed at you. “Do you think she’s okay?”
He scoffed. “I’m sure her outfit just didn’t look as good in real life as it did in her head. What else does she have to worry about?”
Vada shrugged, her eyes still locked on you. You didn’t look up once.
* * *
It was at night that Vada’s worry had turned into all-out panic. Throughout the school day, you had avoided her like the plague, making sure to never interact with her. At one point, you had locked eyes with her down the hall and then swiftly spun on your heel and walked back in the direction you came from.
That, combined with getting absolutely no notifications from you, led her to a terribly easy decision as she stood from her bed, grabbed a hoodie, and lied to her mom that she was going to Nick’s house. She slipped out the front door, her pace quick as she rushed the few blocks to your house.
When she arrived, it was almost completely dark, save for the fluorescent light coming from your living room, where Vada had found herself just days before after you had taken her out to dinner.
With a hesitant hand, she knocked on your front door. It took only a few seconds before you appeared, looking completely unsurprised to see her.
“Vada,” you said softly, and she was immediately surrounded by the scent of alcohol on your breath. “What’re you doing here?”
Her eyebrows furrowed. “Are you…drunk? On a Thursday night?”
You shrugged. “So what if I am? What’re you doing here?” you repeated.
Pushing aside her concerns about your drinking habits, she asked, “Why did you stop?”
“Stop what?”
“Chasing me,” she said, like you should’ve known.
You forced out a dry laugh, tilting your head to the side. “You know, you’re a confusing girl.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“It means that you completely ignored all of my attempts to talk to you, and now you’re upset that I’ve stopped, even though it seemed like that’s what you wanted.” You narrowed your eyes. “Sounds kind of confusing, don’t you think?”
Vada swallowed, crossing her arms and shaking her head. “That’s not fair.”
“Not fair,” you muttered beneath your breath. “Okay. Sure. I was unfair to you.” You leaned back on your heels, your hand gripping the doorknob. “Now, if that’s all, then I’ll see you at school.”
You started to close the door, but something about your indifference made anger rise in Vada. “I just didn’t want to become a girl in your revolving door of girls!” she shouted.
You stilled, your eyes widening before glazing over. “Right. My revolving door of girls. That’s what everyone says, right?” Your voice was hollow, sad. Vada didn’t understand why.
“They say it because it’s true,” she huffed. Your posture fell and you glanced away, clenching your jaw. “You chase, you get, you grow bored.”
“That’s not true.” You looked at her, and faintly, she could see tears glossing your eyes. “That’s not…true. Those girls chase me; they use me; they leave me.” Your volume grew steadily, a sort of rage backing your words. “But since I’m the one factor that stays the same, everyone blames me. And it’s not--” You sighed. “It’s not true.”
You scoffed. “And you know what, I thought you might be the one person that didn’t believe what everyone else said. You seemed real, authentic, like you didn’t really give a shit about the crowd, Vada. That’s why I liked you, why I was trying. I thought you were your own person. But I was wrong. You’re just like the rest of the school.”
With all of the new information thrown at her, confusion and guilt and shame and hurt burning her, the only thing Vada managed to say was, “Oh.”
You nodded, glancing away. “Yeah. ‘Oh’. So, I’ll see you at school.”
When you shut the door, leaving Vada standing alone on your front porch, realization struck her like a tidal wave, and everything from the past few days came crashing down on her.
You didn’t chase. Or, at least, not until her.
“Shit.”

You didn’t show up to school again the next day, but it barely registered in Vada’s mind. She had already known beforehand that you wouldn’t be going--Mia had slipped her some ‘secret intel’ that your hangover had you sleeping the day away. Instead, she spent the hours mentally preparing herself, and as soon as the bell rang to signal the end of the day, she set her plan into motion.
At exactly six o’clock at night, Vada was standing at your front door again, a bouquet of flowers in one hand and her (Mia’s) car keys in the other. She knocked on the wood, waited, and when you pulled the door open, her words immediately pushed themselves out of her mouth.
“The drive-in is showing The Princess Diaries tonight, and I know you don’t like Anne Hathaway as much as I do, but I’d like to take you to see it.” She inhaled deeply and continued. “And I’d also like to apologize because I’ve been shitty to you these past few days, and I shouldn’t have listened to the rumors, and I should’ve just talked to you about it all, and I’m really sorry about everything that happened, and I just”--she gasped, her lungs stinging with lack of air, and kept going--“I really do like you, and I did have fun on our initial date, and I’m sorry. Can I take you to the drive-in?”
You blinked once, twice, before you raised a single brow. “What?”
Vada sighed. “The most important thing from all of that is that I’m sorry. I know I hurt you, and I know that can’t just go away, but I’d like the chance to make it up to you, if you’d let me.” She shoved the flowers in your direction. “Want to go see The Princess Diaries?”
You glanced down at the flowers, your bottom lip pulled between your teeth, and then took them from her. With the smallest and softest smile that made Vada’s knees buckles, you nodded.
“Okay.” Your face fell. “But on one condition.”
She nodded fervently. “Anything.”
You grinned. “Let’s get milkshakes after and talk.”
bonus: “like, how could you not have a huge crush on anne hathaway?” vada asked, her eyes glued to the big screen.
you hummed. “i’ve got my eye on someone else.”
when she looked at you, ready to argue about anne hathaway’s attractiveness, you were already staring at her, smiling.

“I want to do this.”
“Vada, we don’t have to. I was just curious.”
“It’s not my first time, if that’s what you’re asking.”
“Oh?”
“Well, technically…I guess it’ll be the first time I really remember it. I was pretty drunk the first time.”
You drop your pen on your desk and spin around in your chair to face Vada. She’s in a sports bra and gym shorts, sitting cross-legged on the bed in your dorm. You met at the beginning of the semester two months ago and started dating pretty quickly after that. You were drawn to her, enamored with her small stature and giant personality.
She was beautiful, that much was true. With her thick dark hair, wide golden brown eyes, and soft bronze skin, she was the very image of beauty. But she was also funny and talkative, and sarcastic. The trauma she had endured so young left a mark on her, but she was resilient and able to recover after a few years and a lot of therapy. Every now and then, the backfire of a car exhaust or the slam of a dropped textbook made her flinch, but she carried on after a few deep breaths. You found yourself swiftly and inescapably falling for her.
And now she was sitting on your bed, half dressed and asking you to have sex with her. You wanted to, god did you want to. But you wanted it to be right and perfect and sweet. Especially now, finding out the only other time she’d done it, she was drunk.
You lean forward, resting your elbows on your knees, and smile softly at her, “Vada, I want to more than you know. But I don’t want to rush you. And I want it to be romantic.”
She opens her arms out, “This can be romantic,” she says, standing up on your bed in a rush.
You blink up at her, your love-struck smile stuck to your face. You could tell by her expression alone that she was about to dive head first into one of her word tsunamis, drowning you in her excitement and enthusiasm.
“See, we can…uhm…we can light a candle!”
She takes two bounding steps on the mattress and jumps off the foot of the bed, sliding in her socks to your dresser. She picks up the three wick candle there and lights it. She sets it back down and scans the room, tapping her chin with her pointer finger.
“Oh!” She scurries over to your desk, gently rolling you and your chair to the side as she reaches for your curtain above the window, “We can just…close…this…” she struggles up on her tiptoes, trying to undo the knot holding the curtain open.
She fumbles with it, the decorative rope just a hair too high for her reach. She sighs and looks down at you, “Can you reach this, please?”
You laugh through your nose, shaking your head at her. You stand and easily pull the knot loose, letting the curtain fall over the window. The room darkens, the faint sunlight fighting through the curtain and the fire from the candle painting everything in an orange hue. Vada’s hands are on your waist, pulling your attention back to her.
“See,” she says, her eyes on your lips, “now it’s romantic.”
You concede, deciding it couldn’t hurt to give her what she wants. You lean down and capture her lips in yours, letting her lead in intensity. She responds slowly but deeply, the passion in her making its way into you through her tongue on your lips and her hands sliding under your shirt. She walks you back to the bed, pushing you to sit when the backs of your legs hit the mattress. She pushes your knees apart and stands between them, your face in her hands. Your fingers cascade across her ribs, cherishing every inch of exposed skin they can touch.
Her hands are on your shirt, pulling at it. She breaks your lips apart and pulls it over your head, tossing it aside. She stares down at you, her lips parted, pulse hammering away in her neck. You pull her back down to you, kissing her again. She picks up the pace, her lips feverish and hurried. Her hands are all over you, and you have to admit, you want her more than anything. A soft groan involuntarily slips out of you, spurring her further. She’s coaxing you up the bed, climbing on top of you when your head hits the pillow.
She dives into your neck, licking and sucking at your skin, frantically trying to taste every inch of you. You laugh, running your fingers through her hair, and she sits back with a confused frown on her face.
“Slow down, I’m not going anywhere.”
She stares down at you and runs her hands from your hips up to your ribs, drinking in the sight of your half naked body.
“Sorry. I’m just excited.” She says, staring at her fingers trailing down toward your belly button.
“Don’t be sorry,” you tell her, reaching for one of her hands and guiding it over your breast, “take this off.”
She’s like a boy with the thrill that crosses her face. You stop yourself from laughing, you don’t want to discourage her. You sit up on your elbows and allow her to reach behind you to unclasp your bra. When she finally manages to unhook it, her fingers fumbling for longer than could be considered sexy, you pull it off your shoulders. Her lips part with a sigh, and her hands immediately follow her eyes. You sit up to wrap your hand around the back of her neck and pull her down on top of you, wanting to feel her weight settle on your body.
You pull her sports bra up and over her head with her help, and she flicks it aside. It catches on the arm of your desk chair, hanging there like a green flag. She sits back up, and her fingers are on the waistband of your shorts, her eyes wide and questioning. You nod, lifting your hips, and she slides them down your legs.
“Yours too.” You tell her before she can return to you.
“Right.” She says, her eyes wide.
She pulls her shorts and socks off and timidly leans back over you. You reach up and tuck her hair behind her ear, a comforting smile on your lips. You pull her down to you, your naked skin meeting hers for the first time, and she whimpers into your mouth. You kiss her lazily, letting her build her confidence, your hand skating across the plane of her back and up into her hair. She leans over on her left arm, her right hand slowly making its way down your body.
She pulls back from kissing you, speaking softly into your lips, “I have to be really honest with you. I’m not sure what I’m doing.”
You pull both hands up to hold her face, running your thumbs over her cheekbones. “How’s this, I touch you, and you touch me. Just do to me what I’m doing to you, and we’ll take it from there?”
She bites her lip, considering it, then nods slowly. You nod at her, double checking.
“Okay, yeah. I can do that.” Her voice wavers, but her hand is moving over your thigh, and you can feel her heartbeat pounding in her chest.
You slowly trail your fingers down her side, then around to her stomach. You stop just above her pubic bone, eyeing her. She takes a deep breath and nods again, waiting for you. You slide your hand between her legs, and your jaw drops open as your fingers find her center. She’s already wet, clearly excited, her body more sure than her mind. You gather up some of the fluid on your fingertips and begin to make small, tight circles over her clit. She gasps, her mouth open, closing her eyes.
You stop your fingers, smiling up at her, and she opens her eyes, her brow furrowed.
“You’re supposed to be following me, remember?”
Her eyebrows shoot up, “Oh shit, yeah, yes. Right.”
She runs her hand down your body, mimicking everything you had done with surprising precision. When she circles your clit, it takes everything in you to continue on her. You had wanted her for so long, you’re afraid you might fuck around and orgasm from the lightest of her touches. Luckily for you, she appears to be in the same boat, her breathing fast and heavy above you. You reach up with your free arm and pull her down into a kiss, picking up your pace between her legs. She moans into your lips and picks up her speed.
You’re incredibly shocked and proud at how quickly she’s able to follow suit. Then again, Vada is talented at many things. You have a feeling this is going to be one of them. And you’ll have plenty of time to practice. You’re about to slow your fingers and move them south, but she cums before you’re able to get there. Instead of letting her ride it out, you gently slip one finger inside of her, your intent to push her quickly into a second orgasm. Her eyes roll back, and her hand stops moving for a moment as her first orgasm crashes through her. She drops her head into your neck and rolls her hips down onto your finger, your thumb pressing into her clit.
She sucks in air through her teeth, groaning, “Oh shit y/n,”
“Keep going, Vada, don’t stop,” you encourage her, pressing your hips up to spur her on.
She picks her head back up and kisses you hard, sloppy, frantic. She starts moving her fingers again and follows you, pushing a finger inside of you.
“Oh god.” She groans into your neck, feeling inside of you.
You curl your finger inside of her, and she gasps, mimicking you immediately. You pull out, adding another finger. She’s so tight around you, you slow to give her a moment to adjust. She’s panting into the side of your neck, her head resting on your shoulder. You feel her relax around your fingers and start to move them again. Her teeth are on your neck, biting softly at your skin. She adds a finger, pumping her arm and curling them at the perfect moment. You can feel your orgasm building, inching you closer every time Vada curls her fingers and clenches down on yours. Her lips on your neck are like wildfire, burning your skin and simmering your blood.
She pushes herself back up on her elbow and kisses your lips, small noises escaping the back of her throat, her hips pushing back into you. She bites your lip and her thumb passes over your clit, and you’re careening off the edge. She watches your face with parted lips and wide eyes and then hers are sliding shut as she joins you.
She collapses on top of you, both of you gasping for breath, your sweat mixing together between your bodies. Vada shivers on top of you, clenching her legs around your thigh, still lost in the endorphin rush. You reach up and run your fingers through her hair, your body feeling heavy and satisfied. This is the quietest she’s been in a long time, and for a moment, you wonder if she’s fallen asleep. She shivers again, and you can feel her smiling into the skin of your chest.
She lifts herself up, her elbows on either side of your body, a wild smile on her face. Her hair is sticking up from you playing with it, and her lips are swollen and pink.
“That was fucking incredible.” She says, looking down at you.
You close your eyes and hum in agreement, running your fingers along her back.
“Can we do it again?” She asks, pushing herself off to your side to sit up.
You laugh and rest your hand on her leg, “Of course we can.”
“Right now?”
“Can you let me catch my breath?”
She leans back over you, her hair framing your faces, “No,” she says, planting quick kisses on your lips, “I’ll never let you catch your breath again. I’ll take your breath away!”
You smirk and lift your hips, pushing her over on her back and sitting on her hips. “You have some more learning to do, let’s begin with lesson two.”

"Would you be so kind as to remove your clothes for me, sweetheart? Vada's instruction softly resonated in her voice.
You promptly obliged with her request while gazing in wonder into her eyes. You were already having trouble breathing, and you could feel a puddle of slick building up beneath you at even the lightest of her touches.
You licked your lips as you began to take off your clothes, going as gently as you possibly could. Your fingers slowly worked their way down the front of your shirt, undoing each button as they went to show more of your skin. You let the top hang open, exposing the slender line of skin that runs from your neck to your waist.
You became quite vulnerable in front of Vada as she took you in.
Perfect! Vada sighed as she moved a large palm up one of your breasts and back down, eliciting a deep groan from you as it rubbed against your nub.
"Fucking perfect," Vada murmured.
You bit your lip and fought back another moan "thank you, baby". Attacking her lips
Your kiss conveyed desperation and neediness. She guides you down to the bed. You began to writhe around on the bed while you were kissing her, palming her lightly through her underwear.
She let out a groan as the contact was made, and you broke the kiss while staring intently into her eyes. "Take it off, please." Your voice was so desperate and full of desire that Vada leapt off the bed in a race against the clock to remove the garment.
Vada gave you a sly smirk as she tweaked your nipples and coaxed a groan from between your teeth. She purred. Fuck… you’re so needy," she said.
"I want to hear you say it." Her finger tips gently teased the rough spots on your rock-hard nipples as she circled them with her fingers. This caused you to whimper.
I'm your needy slut... mhmm," you moaned again.
"What do you want me to do, baby? Vada whispers, "Tell me and I'll do it." She delicately glides her fingers down the alley between your breasts until your shirt collar stops her. The action gave you chills.
Vada holds onto your shoulders, and you throw your head back.
"I want you to eat me," you whisper.
"Yeah?" Vada smiles wickedly, positioning herself between your legs. You want me to lick your pussy? Suck on your clit until you can’t take it anymore? Is that what you want, baby?
Please, fuck," you moan.
Suddenly, Vada's tongue, which was firm and wet, made a single lap, gently circling your clit. You squealed and bucked your hips. After she had fun with you for a while, Vada decided to put an end to the teasing by thrusting her tongue greedily into your cunt. Her strong arms wrapped around your thighs and drew them further apart, allowing her tongue to curl and probe deeper into your tight, trembling walls while her nose rubbed your swollen clit,
Vada withdrew her tongue, only to replace it with her two long fingers and shove them while licking your small, pulsating cunt. She watched you writhe around while listening to your whimpers and chuckled to herself in amusement as she did so.
Your teeny-tiny groans could be heard across the room. Vada examined. Fuck, you were so hot, so dripping wet, and so fucking tight.
Vada yanked out her fingers and replaced them with her cock because she could no longer wait. She inched closer, enjoying the sensation of her body melting into yours. Your apparent embrace, complete with heat and wetness, only serves to draw her in further. It almost rendered her incapable of forming complete sentences.
Vada is completely fixated on the idea of seeing her cock enter you. Watching the expression on your face causes her to feel an overwhelming sense of pride.
Mhmm... fuck, you’re so tight," Vada groans.
"Fuuuuuck," Vada moaned again as she rested her forehead against your back and groaned. "So damn tight. I think I might not last all that long."
"Vada, fuck… You're so big," you said, crying from pleasure.
"Fuck, baby, you’re amazing, she growled against your neck and into your ear. "And you’re close, aren’t you? Fuck, you’re growing so tight. Will you come for me?"
“Oh, god,” you panted, tilting your head back with a moan.
"Mine, all mine, you’re fucking mine," I said, hearing your adorable whines and groans as you nodded.
“Yours, Vada, only yours." whimpers
You shiver at Vada's arms as she pushes into you with hard, deep strokes, moving her hips and then pushing in and out, her cock glistening with your combined juices. Vada massaged your swollen clit and pushed you over the edge ruthlessly. Having this power over you was almost as thrilling as your scream of pleasure as you came closer, your entire body tightening down on her cock, completely full. Your legs shook with delight, as if your body couldn't handle the intensity.
You gasped loudly, your toes curling, your mouth wide in a loud cry, as you tightened down on Vada's cock, who had no chance as she cummed around you. Feeling Vada's juices inside you instantly made you cum as well. As you both kissed, your mouths moved to connect, eagerly seeking each other. You continued to move your hips to ride out your climax until you felt her cock soften inside you and eventually draw out. Vada groans because of lost contact as your mixed juices drip out of your pussy.

Sneak in
Summary: Vada misses you and your lips.
Warning: none
a/n: okay i kinda like this one, have fun i guess and I want to thank @yara124 for this wonderful idea
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Daylight, I wake up feeling like you won't play right!" I shouted with following the tune of the song. I fucking miss her and I miss fucking her. I haven't seen her for a week, and I'm dying to taste her lips again, those sweet plump and pink lips of her.
It's been a week and a half since Y/N got busy because of fucking school works, I hate school because of two reasons; I straight up hate and I hate it more because I can't kiss my Y/N because of it!
Think of something, I have to think of something that will make Y/N come over or I could just sneak in her room and surprise her. Yes! That's the one!
The song ended as I get up, I quickly went to the kitchen to have my lunch and pack a meal for Y/N later. I saw mom talking to her phone and wave at me when she noticed my presence. I munched down my food and sprint across the kitchen to my room, I swear I heard mom yelling something but I couldn't care less.
It's 4 o'clock in the afternoon, I was scrolling through my phone stalking her accounts when I remember my plan. I jump out of my bed and put on a bra and put my shirt back on.
I arrived at her house by 8 and I quickly jump on the fence and started climbing to her window. I finally arrived in front of her window after those several attempts to save my life from falling, I stood by her window full of bruises and sweating like I just ran a mile.
I saw her room full of darkness, great she's asleep. I went inside anyways tip toeing so I won't make any noise to startle her. I slip beside her and adjusted myself and cuddle her in her sleep. I fucking missed her and her scent, fuck I could sniff her to death. I snuggle my face into the back of her head, inhaling her scent once more.
FUCK. FUCKING FUCKENING FUCK. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!? Someone's beside me and their fucking cuddling with me!? WHAT.THE.ACTUAL.FUCK. I'm so fucking scared right now I might die. I kinda regretted leaving my window open to get a fresh air. God please help me.
I continue to curse to myself while figuring out how to escape the stranger's hold of me. I slowly open my eyes and what the fuck!? They're sniffing me!? THE FUCK!? AND NOW THEY'RE TRYING TO KISS ME. PLEASE GOD, I'M SO SORRY IF I DIDN'T PRAY TO YOU UNTIL NOW BUT PLEASE SAVE ME. I DON'T WANNA DIE LIKE THIS, I STILL HAVE DREAMS AND GOALS TO FULFILL, I STILL HAVE TO PROPOSE TO VADA- wait a fucking minute. I finally opened my eyes and adjusted my vision to see my surroundings then I inhaled a scent of a perfume, the same perfume Vada wears.
I quickly sat up and jump out of my bed picking up the bat near my table and quickly turn the lights on. And there she is, Vada, shock evident on her face. "WHAT'S WRONG?" Vada asked me, voice full of panic. "NO! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!" I whisper shouted putting the bat back near the table. I rubbed my eyes and look at Vada, confusion still evident to her face. "what do you mean "what's wrong with me?"" Vada said trying to sit beside me. I take a quick look at her and laugh. "You can't just sneak in my room while I'm asleep and try to cuddle, okay? I almost died because of fear that someone is trying to kill me in my sleep." I stated calmly, still giggling at Vada who looks dumbfounded. I started to laugh and she soon followed. "I'm sorry I just fucking miss you, and I missed fucking you" "Oh, shut up" We continue to laugh and went back to bed and she suddenly kissed my nose then my forehead, then both of my cheeks and lastly my lips. The kiss is passionate, full of love and adoration. She kisses my lips like there's no tomorrow, like I'll disappear if she stops. She continue to pepper me with kisses and cuddle, snuggling our body with together sharing eachother's warmth and fell asleep with smile on our faces.

vada (1:39am): tyty
me (1:39am): 🙄🖤
vada (1:40am): 🤭🤭
You shook your head in amusement as you shoved your foot into your vans, soon after shoving your phone into the baggy hoodie you owned.
Of course only for Vada -your girlfriend- you'd sneak out in the middle of the night to bring snacks and to watch movies.
The chokehold that girl had on you was beyond tight.
Grabbing your headphones, backpack, wallet and phone you silently sneaked your way down the stairs, you took painfully slow steps to make sure you wouldn't make a sound.
After what felt like an eternity you had made it outside with the key to the garage, you quickly went to unlock it and retrieved your broken blue bike. It was barley rideable, but still good enough for you.
You locked the garage, keeping the keys in your pocket before you began biking away towards the closest 7/11.
The headphones placed on your ears filled the silence of the night with the sweet melody of Lana Del Rey.
After a handful of songs and halfway through White Mustang you arrived at the small store, it being the only twenty four hour store that was closest to yours and Vada's house.
You hopped off your bike before you entered, you had already memorised what Vada wanted. It didn't take you long before you were at the counters paying for the snacks, trying not to laugh at the clearly high worker who tried to act sober.
"Thanks." The worker gave a lazy thumbs up as he cracked an even lazier smile, you chuckled as you shoved your purchases into your backpack.
You sat back down on your bike as you checked on your phone to see three unread messages by Vada.
vada (1:43am): pls ride save 🚲🚲🚲🥽🥽🛟
vada (1:57am): jez what's takis so long?
vada (1:57am): 🪚
me (1:59am): 1) i will, don't worry❤️ 2) i have to ride to the store then to yours, plus my bike is shit. 3) no we're not watching saw, last time you watched it you got nightmares
vada (1:59am): ur alive!!!🧟‍♀️🚫
vada (2:00am): hury up
You laughed to yourself as you kept your phone back into its original position, peddling away before you took your hand out of your pocket.
Lana Del Rey's mystical voice sung a few more songs in your ears before you arrived outside of the Cavell residence.
You swiftly got off of the bike before you walked it up the pathway to keep leaning it against the wall.
Opening the gate you silently walked over to the back door to where Vada was already waiting for you, smiling brightly when she noticed your presence.
"Y/n! Hi!" She whispered yelled as she grabbed your wrist, pulling you into a hug. You smiled down at her as you wrapped your arms around her.
"Hey, Vads." You replied with a warm smile as butterflies flew around in your stomach at the contact.
The two of you stayed like that for a moment before Vada gazed up at you and stole a kiss from you before she headed towards the cabinets.
You took the moment for freedom to take off your shoes, placing them neatly in the corner of the room.
Vada went on her tippy toes as she reached two glasses from a cabinet, dropping them a bit too carelessly making you wince.
"Wanna do me a favour?" Vada asked as she grinned at you, hopping over to the alcohol cabinet as she took out a bottle of vodka.
You raised your eyebrows as you leaned against the counter. "Depends what that is."
"Go on my laptop and choose a movie for us to watch while I make us our drinks." She said as she shook the bottle of vodka daringly in her hands.
You laughed as you nodded your head, pushing yourself off the counter. "You already know what I'm going to put on."
"We are not watching Spider-Man again. I beg you."
"Fine." You decided with a roll of your eyes, somewhat not surprised Vada didn't want to watch Spider-Man for probably the fifth time this week.
Without a noise you made your way up the stairs and towards Vada's dimly lit bedroom. You shrugged off your backpack as you dropped down on Vada's snuggliest bed.
Her laptop was already on her bed so you thankfully didn't have to get back up, stretching until you reached it and swiftly pulled the laptop onto your lap.
You opened the laptop and immediately winced at the brightness, of fucking course Vada would put her laptop at full brightness at night.
You hurriedly lowered the brightness until you could actually look at it.
That's when you noticed the laptop was making a noise.
The Sims theme played lowly, an audio that was instantly recognisable. You smiled as you noticed Vada was still in her world.
Deciding there was no harm in it, you began looking around the beautifully decorated house Vada had built.
It was a perfect house for the family Tara had made.
The first sim you noticed was a toddler, a boy with y/h/c coloured hair and a freckled face.
You smiled at how cute the sim was as your eyes flickered down to the corner of the screen where a small row of sims' faces was at.
Finding the toddler's face you hover the mouse over it to get the name of the sim.
Tod Y/l/n-Cavell
You blinked, then blinked again at the name.
Y/l/n-Cavell
No fucking way.
Without hesitation you swiftly moved the mouse to hover over the next sim, a teenage girl who had dark brown hair.
Delilah Y/l/n-Cavell
A smug smile had appeared on your lips as your eyes gazed over to the two final remain sims. Promptly you clicked onto the next sim this time, which teleported you  over to where the sim was.
Your eyes widened as you noticed the name and what the sim was doing.
Y/n L/n-Cavell was the name given to the sim that you couldn't see since it was woohooing the last sim.
You purse your lips as you stifle a laugh, much slower than before you moved to hover the mouse over the final sim which heavily resembled Vada's face.
Not to your surprise, the name 'Vada Yl/n-Cavell' appeared as the mouse hovered over the sim.
Just as you read the name a frantic Vada flung the door open as she practically dived in your direction, slamming the laptop closed on your lap.
With Vada half on you, half not, your eyes travelled down to her face, where you couldn't see her beauty since she was hiding it on the mattress next to your thigh.
"Please tell me you didn't see a thing." She begged through a muffled voice, you closed your eyes for a few seconds as you tried to not let out a laugh.
Swallowing any hint of laughter you said: "I didn't see anything," A small snort of laughter escaped as you muttered. "Mrs Y/l/n-Cavell."
Vada groaned loudly as she hid her face further into the bed, throwing her hands over her head as she tried to hide herself even further.
"I think it's adorable!" You said as you managed to stifle most of the laughter, Vada violently shook her head. "You're just saying that."
"No I'm not." Vada lifted her head as she gave you an unamused expression. "You're laughing."
"I'm not." You told her with a serious expression, the corners of your lift kept lifting as you fought a smile. "I just didn't expect to see a sim version of myself fucking a sim version of you." You managed to get halfway through the sentence before you let out a deep laugh, instantly covering your mouth with your hand to try to hide it.
Vada groaned as she slammed her head back down to hide in the duvet. "I'm never showing you my face ever again." Vada declared to you, you smiled as you positioned your hand on top of Vada's hand.
"And how exactly are you planning to never show your face to me again?" You taunted her with a grin.
"I'll just wear a mask everywhere like that weird Minecraft streamer." Vada exaggerated through a muffled voice as you tried hiding your laughter.
You shook your head mostly to yourself to try to stop laughing as you looked down at Vada.
"And deprive me of that pretty face of yours?" Vada nodded her head, her head still hid in the sheets. "Yes. You better start getting ready to bang me with a mask on for the rest of your life."
"Is it at least a ghostface mask?"
Vada stayed silent for a few moments, as if the words you said had actually gotten to her, before she shook her head.
"No! Making me horny won't make me forget about this."
You mentally reminded yourself to carry on that conversation another time with Vada.
"Vada, I promise you, it's not that bad. It's actually cute as shit." You insisted with no laughter that time, Vada slowly picked up her head to look up at you.
Her eyes narrowed on yours as she leaned against your thigh. "You're not bullshitting me?"
You smiled as you nodded your head enthusiastically at your girlfriend. "I'd never lie to you."
"It's still embarrassing." Vada whined as she snuggled further into your clothed thigh. You laughed lowly as you removed the laptop off of your lap, placing it onto the empty space next to you.
"The most embarrassing thing about it is that you actually think I'd let you name our child Tod." You jested with a humorous grin.
Honestly, you didn't know what was going through Vada's choosing the name Tod. You'd rather name your child Howard, a name you more than less hate.
Vada gave you a hurt look as she perched up on your thigh to be able to get a better look of you.
"Tod is a magnificent name. You'd probably name our child something nerdy like Peter." Your smile shifted to give Vada a dirty look at her words. Just because I love Spider-Man, you thought to yourself with a groan.
"There's nothing wrong with the name Peter, meanwhile there's everything wrong with the name Tod." You argued light-heartedly, the corners of Vada's lips twitched upwards, she was trying to fight her smile.
Pride withered in you at that, Vada was starting to feel less embarrassed at the whole situation.
Raising her eyebrows she gazed into your eyes. "Fine. We'll just have to name our child something absolutely ridiculous then."
You smiled amusedly as you nodded your head as if heavily interested in the conversation. "Oh yeah? Like what?"
Vada pursed her lips for a few moments as she glanced away from your eyes, deep in thought. As if she had figured out a top secret code, Vada returned her eyes to lock with yours, joy swirling around in her eyes.
"Donut." Vada assured with a nod of her head. You stifled a laugh as you cocked your head to the side like a husky. "Donut?" You repeated in a teasing tone.
She nodded her head confidently. "Donut; the second love of my life." Vada confirmed with a goofy grin on her face.
You smirked, your free hand moving to rest on Vada's scalp as you played with her soft hair. "Who's your first love then?"
"C'mon you already know the answer to that. It's obviously Bela Dimitrescu." Without hesitation you shoved Vada's head down with the hand that was on her head.
Vada laughed as she dodged your hand as she moved it so the side, landing her head back down on the top of your thigh. "Don't worry, baby. You'll always be my number one girl."
You narrowed your eyes. "Even over Bela?"
She nodded curtly against your thigh. "Even over Bela Dimitrescu."
"What about Lady Dimitrescu?"
Vada hissed as she closed her eyes momentarily before reopening them. "That's a tough one."
You sighed as you nodded your head in agreement. "Alright I'll give you that since she is so fine."
"So fucking fine." Vada whispered in agreement.
You smiled at Vada who beamed back at you with joy, a true sight for the sore eyes.
"How about instead of watching a movie we play sims?" Vada grinned as she sat up, grabbing the laptop as she sat by your side.
"I'm pretty sure my sim just impregnated yours so we can name our third child donut." Vada giggled as she opened the laptop back up.
You gave her a  puzzled look. Vada's sim impregnated yours?
Why the fuck aren't you the one who had a dick?
"Why do I have to be the pregnant one?" You questioned as Vada began replaying the game. "I give off bigger dick energy than you."
You scoffed loudly at that, rolling your eyes. "Yeah right."

Tumblr media
SMUT BELOW THE CUT
"Vada, you know..."  My words were slurred with desire.  “The kids are sleeping." She pulled back but kept hovering over me, giving me no choice but to look up at her. "Please...it's been so long."
I was desperate for her touch.  "Please." I reached out and she took my hand without hesitation, I ran my other hand down the side of her chest before sliding it over her boxers. She shuddered when my fingers found her inner thigh, but she didn't pull away when I rubbed her cock through her boxers.
“We have a lot of time," I said. "And this could be fun."
"Fun?" Her voice dropped an octave, and then she moaned, "God, yes. Fun." Her lips brushed my ear as she whispered into it.
"I've missed doing this." She pressed herself against me and I could feel her growing harder by the second.
“You're so big." The pressure was unbearable now, but she seemed more interested in sucking on my earlobe than penetrating me.
"So strong," I murmured, and she groaned loudly.
“How do you even fit inside me?"
I laughed breathlessly and wrapped my arms around her neck.
"You'll find out soon enough." She mumbled before she kissed my shoulder.
"But we can take our time," Vada mumbled against my skin. "I don't want to rush it...I want us both to enjoy this." She slid her hands up between our bodies, caressing and squeezing my nipples. "It's been so long." couldn't help arching toward her.
“We need to make it good…so we can really enjoy ourselves." Vada lightly bit my breast playfully and I moaned in ecstasy at the sudden release of tension in my lower body.  Then Vada slipped two fingers inside me and moved them gently.  "I love how much you like this."
I was almost crying by then. “Fuck," I said.  "Yeah. Love it." I'm just focusing on her fingers inside of me moving slowly, steadily, until my entire being felt like it was going to burst.
She continued, moving her fingers even deeper. "Shit!" A low moan escaped from me and she smiled at my reaction. I'd forgotten what it felt like. How amazing it felt.  And that I needed more.
"Oh fuck-" I gripped the sheets and dug my nails deep into them.  "More...please...I wanna cum..." I looked desperately at Vada, hoping that somehow the look conveyed just how urgent the need was.
I wasn't being too greedy or demanding - something I knew she despised. But Vada was lost in a haze, and I realized that she probably wouldn't care if I was being a little greedy.
"Vada-" I pleaded, my hips bucking toward hers.  "Please." She gave another stroke and I cried out, my body tensing as my climax erupted in a wave. I clutched her hand that I was still holding, digging my fingernails into it as I came, shaking uncontrollably.
She pulled away after a moment.  “That wasn’t so bad," she commented nonchalantly, although her breathing was ragged and her eyes still glazed with lust.
"Wasn't so bad, was it?" she repeated, smiling slightly as she moved down on top of me, still rubbing against me.  "Did you like it?" I nodded. "Then we can do it again."
"Yes," I gasped, pushing up against her. “Just like...just like that." She rolled us over onto the bed, positioning herself above me so that she had me pinned beneath her. I held myself in place as best I could with my weak legs, trying not to move until she finished teasing and pleasuring me. "You are...so hot…" I managed. "My god...you’re so fucking sexy…"
"Really?" Vada chuckled. “Even after all those years?" She bent forward so that her breasts touched my face. “Tell me more about how I'm sexy."
"You are...my God...you have such a beautiful body." She laughed, and then began kissing and licking her way down my throat.  "Mmm," I grunted, trying to hold still as I felt her tongue dart around my collarbone. "Vada..."
She looked up at me again, an unspoken agreement passing between us as our gazes locked together. I watched, mesmerized by the expression on her face as she licked her lips and slowly moved lower. My hips bucked involuntarily, but she didn't react. Instead, she continued on downward. The feel of her hands stroking my ass was enough to make my breath catch. It was too much for me to handle. I wanted this...I needed it...and Vada knew it. I watched, unable to keep a small smile from spreading across my own lips as she reached my thighs and slid her fingers up toward my inner thighs.
I bit my lip as she paused just before they met, watching as a single bead of sweat formed across my forehead, sliding down my chin. Her eyes were still fixed on mine as she finally moved her hand away and gently rubbed my clit. A shiver ran through my entire body as I pushed up against her, desperate for contact.
"You're gonna come soon aren't you?" she asked, giving my clit another light rub. "But the only place you get to cum now...is around my cock."  I couldn't help the moan of pleasure that escaped my throat at her words. I didn't even realize I'd been holding back, afraid if I let go I wouldn't be able to control myself any longer. But she knew me better than that. She knew exactly what to say to make me lose control. Her gaze shifted downward momentarily. "And it's a good thing, too, because there's a problem at 12 I clock."
Vada stopped rubbing my clit and she pulled her boxers down revealing her cock standing proudly at 7 inches. She leaned over and grabbed it, pumping it once and then twice while staring down at me with lustful eyes.
"So, baby, you ready to take this dick?" I nodded enthusiastically. She smiled wickedly, and then slammed into me with a fierce, almost animalistic thrust that had me crying out in surprise.
"There you go," she purred as she withdrew and drove back inside of me.  Her strokes became faster, rougher, each thrust harder and deeper than the last. She leaned forward, kissing my cheek and shoulder as she fucked me. I wrapped my arms around her and held her tight, letting her control the pace.
With a few more hard thrusts she pulled out and came all over my stomach and chest and I just let myself cum finally, breaking the rule she set earlier.
"Did you just cum?" Vada asked and pulled away. "Don't you remember I said you can only cum around my cock?"

Get Lucky - V.C.
vada cavell x fem!reader
summary: in which vada really wants to get lucky
Warnings: suggestive themes, vada just being vada
A/N: Hi! It’s my first time posting here on tumblr, and I haven’t written in YEARS, so I hope you’ll excuse the crappy writing. This was inspired by the song ‘get lucky’ by daft punk.
Tumblr media
"You're not getting lucky tonight if that's what you think." You mutter as Vada litters your neck with little kisses.
You and Vada had been dating for just a little over a month, and you guys couldn’t keep your hands off each other for a second.
Any other day, you'd easily succumb and let her do whatever she wanted to you, but today you had gone out to a family dinner with ALL your distant relatives, and it had really drained the life out of you.
The moment you stepped into her house she had been all over you, clinging to you like if she let go you'd disappear.
Once you had settled in bed, ready to hit the hay, she had climbed over you and started giving you little pecks all over.
"Come on babe, just a quick one." She mumbled against your skin, moving up to the spot behind your ear that always made you turn into putty in her hands.
You let out a breathy sigh, and let her continue.
"Still a no." You whisper.
You could feel her groan against your skin and you let out a little chuckle. You grab her face and make her look at you, her hair falling over her face and yours.
"Why do you want it so bad today?" You questioned, smoothing over the crease in her eyes brows with your fingers.
She silenced you with a kiss, curling her fingers in your hair.
"I've just missed you so much. You were gone way too long." She mumbled against your lips, head turning away at the end of the sentence, like she was a bit embarrassed to admit it.
You pulled her into you again and kissed her, hard. You could feel her smile into your lips.
"Fine."
Vada pulled away quickly, eyes lighting up comically. A wide smile across her face.
"Really? I can?" She asked, biting her lip.
"Yeah baby." You confirmed, nodding your head a little.
Vada was on you again immediately, hands wasting no time to wander down to the waistband of your pjs.
"I'm gonna make you feel so good." She whispered, giving you a final quick peck on the lips before pulling away and sinking down.
Oh you had no doubt about that.

HEART RACING
Warnings: 8k+ words, bad writing, kissing, relationship started from a bet, slightly ooc vada (idk?) reader has she/her pronouns, ur best friends is kinda a dick ig
A/N: this was highly inspired by shes all that + i'm still kinda on my break, sorry if it seems like im ignoring asks
Summary: You take on a bet from your best friend, but what happens when you start regretting your decision.
Tumblr media
"I'm so excited." Jordan, your childhood best friend says, smiling at you. You narrow your eyes at the brunette boy, adjusting your bookbag strap that was slipping off your shoulder. "I wonder what dish your mom is going to make this time." He adds on, that goofy smile of his never leaves his face.
"Yeah." You mumble, trying to hide your nerves about the upcoming break. "Yeah, I hope it's something delicious," you reply, forcing a smile. Jordan reads you like a book, tilting his head before letting out a soft laugh.
"Don't tell me you're worried about your parents bothering you about having a girlfriend." You shake your head, furrowing your eyebrows, as your eyes stay attached to the trail in front of you.
"It's just... this happens every holiday! Oh, Y/N, where's your girlfriend? Oh, Y/N! Who's the lucky girl?" You mock your parents before letting out a sigh and stopping your walk to face Jordan.
"Why can't I just be single and enjoy my high school experience without constantly being questioned about my love life?" you vent, frustration evident in your voice. Jordan raises an eyebrow, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "To be fair, you haven't brought a girl home since freshman year. And you're now a senior. Did you see how happy they were?"
You roll your eyes at Jordan, "What about Ana? I brought her home." Jordan chuckles, shaking his head. "Ana doesn't count. You faked a relationship, and your parents read right through it. They know you too well."
You sigh, memories of that awkward dinner with Ana and your parents flooding back. "Yeah, that was a disaster. I guess I just wanted to avoid the constant interrogation for a while."  Jordan smirks. "Maybe it's time you actually find someone worth bringing home."
"Yeah, sure. It wouldn't be hard to, I just need someone to be able to play the part. My parents do not care who I date whatsoever, just as long as I'm dating them." You tell him, scratching your eyebrow.
Jordan raises an eyebrow, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "You wanna bet on it?" You raise an eyebrow in response, curious about what Jordan has in mind. "What kind of bet are we talking about here?"
"I pick the girl, and you have to bring her home to meet your parents on Christmas," Jordan says, a smirk playing on his lips. "And if you succeed, I'll do your math homework for the rest of the year."
You eye Jordan before holding out your hand. "Deal." Jordan's smile widens as he shakes your hand. "Let's go find your lover."  You laugh, following Jordan as the two of you start scanning the school for potential candidates.
"What about her?" You ask Jordan, nodding your head in the direction of a girl blowing bubbles. Jordan glances over at the girl blowing bubbles and raises an eyebrow. "Hmm, she seems carefree and fun-loving. Definitely a possibility," he teases. "But no!"
You continue searching, your eyes landing on a girl sitting alone in the library, engrossed in a book. "What about her?" you suggest to Jordan, pointing her out. Jordan observes her for a moment before responding, "Too boring."
"Ohhh, maybe her!" Jordan laughs loudly, pointing at a girl picking out her wedgie. You chuckle at Jordan's suggestion, but quickly shake your head. "I don't think so," you say, trying to stifle your laughter. "Let's keep looking."
"Hey! I'm the one picking here. I have the go-to." You shake your head. "Then pick."
Just as you say that a girl trips on her own shoelaces and stumbles forward, nearly falling face-first, Jordan bursts into laughter. "I think we have a winner!" You look over at the girl, who searches around to see if anyone has seen her embarrassing moment. She quickly regains her composure and brushes off the incident, pretending like nothing happened.
"Vada Cavell?" You yell at Jordan, "You've gotta be joking, man." Jordan chuckles and shrugs. "Hey, you said to pick. And she definitely caught my attention with that little stumble." You roll your eyes, not convinced that this is the best choice for your fake partner.
"Look. Ugly, bad personality, a bit on the smelly side, I can handle." You glance back at Vada, sighing.
"But I draw the line at someone who can't even walk without tripping over their own feet," you say, exasperated. Jordan laughs again, defending his choice. "A bet is a bet!" You open your mouth to argue again, but Jordan beats you.
"Hey, if I were you, I wouldn't be wasting my time. Because according to my calculations, you only have about four weeks to turn her into your perfect fake partner before Christmas. And if Vada Cavell is going to be that somebody, you've pretty much got your work cut off for you. "
You sigh and reluctantly agree, knowing that you can't back out of the bet now. You walk over to Vada Cavell, who is sitting with a blonde-haired girl at a table, engrossed in her phone.
"Hi, Vada. You got a second?" You ask, trying to sound casual as you approach her. Vada looks up from her phone with a hint of curiosity in her eyes. Mia, the blonde-haired girl, drops her jaw at the sight of you. You send her a small smile.
"Hi, Mia. I saw your soccer video on Instagram. "It was really impressive," you compliment, trying to make small talk. Vada raises an eyebrow, while Mia blushes. "You watch my videos?"
"You don't play soccer." Vada states matter-of-factly, glaring at her best friend. Mia looks sheepish, realizing your mistake. "Oh, sorry." You tell Mia who quickly brushes off the comment with a dismissive wave.
"So, Vada, listen," you begin, trying to redirect the conversation. "I was wondering maybe if you wanna..." Vada quickly stands up, interrupting you. "Let's go, Mia."
Mia gives you an apologetic smile before following Vada, leaving you feeling slightly embarrassed and rejected. You sigh, realizing that your attempt to ask Vada out didn't go as planned. "...embarrass me horribly in front of all these people?" You finish trailing off to yourself. You look back at Jordan, who's bending over, trying to stop himself from laughing so hard.
With a tight-lipped smile, you send him the finger, knowing that he's enjoying your embarrassment a little too much.

This was a bet, and you needed to win it. It wasn't like you were failing any of your classes, but you were tired of all the math homework Mr. Smith kept assigning. Plus, you'd love to see the defeated look on Jordan's face after Vada, and you successfully convinced your parents you found yourself a girlfriend.
In order to win this bet, you had to text Mia through Instagram direct messages and ask her where you could find Vada after school. Mia sent you a screenshot of Vada's Find My Phone, showing her location in a downtown park. You knew this was your chance to prove Jordan wrong and finally have some peace from Mr. Smith's math assignments.
Vada's eyes widen as she sees you walking closer to her, regardless, you send her your charming smile, which she doesn't reciprocate. "You know stalking is illegal in all 50 states, right?" Vada says, her voice laced with caution.
You quickly assure her that you were just trying to find her so you could talk. "I apologize if it seemed like stalking, but I genuinely wanted to have a conversation with you," you explain, hoping to ease her concerns.
"I'm not smart." Vada admits her eyes never leave yours. "What?" You breathe out a laugh, confused. "What? You think that I can tutor you or something?" Vada continues, a hint of vulnerability in her voice. "You're probably thinking, Oh, there's Vada, she dresses like a hippie—"
"Vada."
"—Barely has any friends."
"Vada."
"—She must at least be smart." You cut her off gently, placing a hand on her arm. "Vada, I have the fourth highest GPA in our grade." Vada looks at you with surprise evident in her eyes. "Really?" she asks, her voice filled with disbelief.
"Yes, really," you reply reassuringly. "It's true." You slightly jump at the sudden voice. Turning around, you see Vada's other best friend, Nick, sitting a few feet away.
"So what do you want? Is this some sort of dork outreach program?" Vada asks, rolling her eyes. "No, Vada," you say calmly, trying to hide your frustration. "I just wanted to hang out."
Vada raises an eyebrow, skeptical of your intentions. "Just hang out? With us?" she questions, her tone still laced with doubt. You nod, hoping to convince her that you genuinely want to enjoy their company. "Yeah, I thought it would be fun to get to know some new people," you explain, hoping she'll give you a chance.
"Sure, me and Vada were about to go to this stand-up comedy club. You can have my ticket if you want." Nick shrugs, ignoring the confused glare from his best friend.
Vada looks at Nick in surprise, clearly not expecting him to offer his ticket. "Really? You're giving up your ticket for her?" she asks, very confused. Nick shrugs again, flashing a grin while he holds out his ticket for you.
You take the ticket with a grateful smile, "Thank you, Nick. Are you sure? I could just buy my own if you want to go too." Nick shakes his head, "Nah, I've gotta go study for my presentation anyway." His phone chimes right after, and he quickly checks it, confirming his need to leave.
"Well, have fun at the club! Let me know how it goes," he says before hurriedly walking away. You watch him go, feeling a mix of gratitude and curiosity about why he would give up his ticket for you.
You send Vada a smile, "I guess I'm your plus one tonight." Vada narrows her eyes at you, still confused about why you, one of the most popular students in school, is so fascinated with her. "I'm still confused about why you're putting on this act. Are you trying to impress someone, or is there another reason behind it?"
You furrow your eyebrows, letting out a small laugh. "Are you always this skeptical? I assure you, there's no ulterior motive. I simply wanted to enjoy your company and spend the evening with you." Vada's expression softens slightly, but she still seems hesitant.
"Well, we should get going." Vada mumbles, brushing a small strand of hair behind her ear.
You follow Vada down the slightly busy streets, neon lights illuminating the sidewalks as people bustle by. You can't help but notice Vada's occasional glances in your direction, her guarded demeanor slowly melting away.
"I like your jewelry." It's unique and really suits your style," you comment, trying to ease the tension. Vada's face lights up with a genuine smile as she thanks you for the compliment.
"Do you always wear that letterman jacket? You look like you came straight out of a 90s movie." Vada says, laughing softly. "Oh, are you going to be an act too for this stand-up comedy thing?" You ask, joking.
"But, yeah, it's kind of my signature look," you reply with a chuckle. "I've always been drawn to that vintage aesthetic." Vada nods, her curiosity evident as she asks, "So, what other things inspire your style?"
"I don't know... I normally thrift a lot of my clothes," you admit. "Whether it's someone's old band t-shirt or their grandpa's old sweater, I love finding unique pieces. I also take inspiration from old photographs and films, especially from the 60s and 70s."
Vada smiles, clearly intrigued by your explanation. "I'm not a huge fashion before myself, but I don't know, I just like to be comfortable." You glance down at Vada's baggy attire, noticing the loose-fitting jeans and oversized hoodie.
"I totally get that," you reply. "Comfort is definitely important, and there's no right or wrong way to express yourself through fashion. It's all about finding what makes you feel good." Vada nods in agreement, playing with the drawstring on her hoodie.

There's an awkward silence as the comedian fails to deliver the punchline of his joke. Vada laughs in her own hand, trying not to be too loud. You can't help but smile as you glance at the shorter girl, confused. You lean into her ear, "I'm so confused. How was that funny?"
Vada chuckles and whispers back, "It wasn't. It was funny how no one was laughing." You glance around the room before laughing a bit yourself. She was right. Seeing the confused looks on everyone's faces made the situation even more amusing. It was as if the entire audience collectively missed the punchline.
You begin laughing even harder, unable to contain your amusement. The more you think about it, the funnier it becomes. Vada joins in on your laughter, hiding her face behind her hand as tears of laughter stream down her face.
"Why are you laughing, huh? You think it's easy to stand up here and try and do something you love?" The male comedian asks you, obviously upset that you're laughing at his expense. You quickly compose yourself, glancing at Vada, whose eyes are wide as she smiles, trying not to laugh again.
You raise your hand, trying to apologize for the misunderstanding, but the comedian interrupts you. "Well, if you think it's so easy, why don't you come up here and give it a shot?" he challenges, pointing towards the stage.
You shake your head with a tiny smile on your lips. "Come on, come up here." You squint your eyes as a light begins to shine on you from the stage. The audience starts cheering and encouraging you to take the comedian's challenge.
You look at Vada, "Go!" She says this, smiling as she pushes you from your seat. Reluctantly, you take a deep breath and make your way towards the stage, your heart beating in your chest. The comedian hands you the microphone with a smug look on his face.
Your shaky hands take the microphone, "Uh..." Your voice trembles as you try to gather your thoughts. You glance at an audience member who has a gutair strapped around their shoulder, and a lightbulb goes off in your head. "I'm not a comedian, but I can try and entertain you all another way."
With a nervous smile, you motion towards the audience member with the guitar, saying, "Can I borrow that for a second?" The audience member hesitates for a moment, but then nods and hands you the guitar. You place the microphone on its stand before stepping forward and strumming a few chords to test the sound.
"Something bad is bout' to happen to me. Why I feel this way, I don't know, baby." You sing with a raspy voice, closing your eyes and letting the music take over.
The crowd falls silent, captivated by the raw emotion in your performance. Vada is shocked, her eyes widening as she watches you on stage. She had no idea you could sing.
"I think of her so much it drives me crazy. I just don't want her to leave me."
You continue to sing Steve Lacy's iconic lyrics, pouring your heart out on stage. You hit the high notes, sending chills down the spines of everyone in the audience. This was much better than the comedy act they were just witnessing.
When you finish the song, Vada's the first one standing up and clapping, with others soon following. You open your eyes to see the crowd on their feet, their applause echoing through the venue. The look of surprise and admiration on Vada's face is priceless, and you can't help but smile broadly.
You push open the door to leave the club and are immediately greeted by a rush of cool night air. "That was so awesome! Just like...going up there and performing in front of all those people, it's such a rush," you exclaim, your eyes still shining with excitement.
Vada nods, her dimples deepening as she grins. "I never expected you to be such a natural on stage. It's like you were born to perform," she says, her voice filled with genuine admiration.
The two of you stop walking as you reach the edge of the sidewalk, taking a moment to catch your breath and let the adrenaline settle. The city lights twinkle above you, casting a magical glow on the vibrant streets below.
You glance over to Vada, and she glances back at you with a faint smile playing on her lips. "You hungry?" You ask, gesturing towards a nearby food truck. The tantalizing aroma of sizzling street food fills the air, making your stomach growl in response. Vada's eyes light up at the suggestion, and she nods eagerly, her excitement matching your own.
-
Vada smiles, her hair blowing in the wind due to the drop-top on your convertible. It's been three weeks since the comedy club, but the memory of that night still brings a smile to your face. The chemistry between you and Vada is undeniable, and you can't help but wonder what other adventures await the two of you.
Kali Uchis blasts through your speakers, filling the car with her soulful melodies. The warm sun kisses your skin as you drive along the scenic coastal road, creating the perfect backdrop for a carefree summer day.
You catch a glimpse of Vada through the side mirror, her hair blowing in the wind, and a contagious laugh escaping her lips. The connection between you two feels effortless, as if you've known each other for years.
"I just wanna get high with my lover!" Vada sings along to the lyrics, and you join in, "Veo una muñeca cuando miro en el espejo!"
Vada leans in closer to you, kissing your cheek gently while she sings more of the lyrics. "Kiss, kiss! Looking dolly, I think I might go out tonight. I just wanna ride get high in the moonlight."
The song proceeds to play, and your singing becomes more enthusiastic, matching Vada's energy. You both dance and laugh, completely lost in the moment. Soon, you both arrive at the beach, your phone ringing as you step outside the car.
"Hello?" You answer the phone and hear Jordan's voice on the other end. "Y/N! Where are you? I just stopped by your house, and you weren't there. I wanted to hang out tonight."
Vada waits patiently for you to end the phone call, holding all of your stuff in her hands.
"Oh, I'm uh...I'm not home right now." You mumble into the phone, scratching your nose. "Well, no shit. Where are you?"
"I'm actually at the beach with Vada," you reply, glancing at Vada, who raises an eyebrow curiously. "But maybe we can hang out tomorrow." You can basically hear the grin on Jordan's face.
"The beach, huh? You and Vada have been hanging out nearly every damn day. Don't tell me you're actually enjoying this bet, Y/LN." You chuckle and respond, "Goodbye, Jordan."
You quickly end the call, sending Vada a smile. You take the items from her hands, thankful for her help. As you start setting up your spot on the beach, Vada asks, "So, what did Jordan want?"
"To bother me," you reply with a dismissive wave. "He's always trying to pry into my business." Vada raises an eyebrow, clearly intrigued, but respects your privacy and doesn't press further. A part of you feels bad for becoming friends with Vada under such circumstances. She was a chill and easygoing person, and you found yourself truly enjoying yourself around her.
You couldn't help but wonder if you should tell her about the bet going on between you and Jordan or if you should just end the friendship altogether. It was a difficult decision to make, as you didn't want to risk losing the connection you had with Vada, but at the same time, keeping such a secret felt dishonest.
"Hey, where's the pump for this?" Vada asks, holding up the beach ball you packed with the rest of the beach gear. You smile, grateful for the distraction from your internal dilemma, and point her in the direction of the pump, except it's not there.
"Oh, shit." You frantically search through the beach bag, realizing that you must have forgotten to pack the pump. "Here, I'll just blow into it." You offer, trying to come up with a quick solution. However, as you start blowing into the beach ball, you quickly realize that it's going to take a lot more effort than you anticipated.
You feel yourself getting lightheaded as you continue to blow into the beach ball, desperately trying to inflate it. Vada giggles at your struggle, you send her a playful glare, but her laughter only encourages you to keep going.
"What if we take turns?" Vada suggests, hoping to alleviate some of the strain on you. You gratefully agree, handing her the faintly inflated beach ball. You expect her to wipe off the ball since your mouth was in fact directly on it, but she doesn't seem to mind.
Your heart begins racing. You basically just shared a kiss with Vada, even if it was through a beach ball. The thought of it sends a rush of excitement through your veins.
Vada hands you the ball back, slightly out of breath. You smile, hesitating for a moment before placing your lips on the ball again. After a while, the ball is fully inflated, and you both start tossing it back and forth, laughing and enjoying each other's company.
"Don't let it drop!" Vada yells out, her laughter echoing across the beach. You run as fast as you can, determined to keep the ball in the air. The sand squishes between your toes as you dive to smack it back into the air. The sound of the ball hitting your palm fills the air, creating a rhythmic pattern that matches the beat of your racing heart.
"God, do you play volleyball?" Vada asks, her eyes widening with excitement. You shake your head, catching your breath, and reply, "No, but I guess I could give it a try!"
You smack the ball a bit too hard, and it flies over Vada's head, landing in the sand behind her. She turns around, a playful grin on her face, and says, "I'm definitely not getting that." You chuckle, running over to retrieve the ball. Before you can, someone kicks it away, sending it rolling further down the beach.
"The fuck—" you stop yourself, looking up and noticing Jordan. Jordan, with a mischievous smirk on his face, shrugs and says, "Oops, my bad! Thought I'd give you a challenge."
"What are you doing here?" you ask, slightly annoyed by Jordan's interference. He chuckles and replies, "Just enjoying the beach with my friends."
You look behind him, noticing he's brought company—some of your friends and other people you've hung around with before. They wave at you, smiling and clearly excited to see you. Jordan adds, "We thought it would be fun to have a little gathering here. Hope you don't mind."
You narrow your eyes at your best friend. "You're an asshole. You're only doing this because I told you I was hanging out with Vada here." Jordan raises an eyebrow, feigning innocence. "Come on, don't be like that. It's just a coincidence that you're both here too."
You let out a sigh, realizing that Jordan's actions were most likely intentional. Despite feeling annoyed, you decide to put aside your frustration and make the best of the situation. "Alright, fine. Now go get my beach ball."
Jordan smirks, clearly enjoying the power he holds over you. "Sure thing, but only if you promise to introduce me to Vada later." You roll your eyes, knowing that Jordan's ulterior motives are far from innocent.
You walk over to Vada, plopping down beside her on her towel. She looks up at you with a smile, unaware of the tension between you and Jordan. "Sorry about that. He just invited himself...and everyone else."
Vada smiles, shaking her head. "It's okay. If we're going to be friends, I'd have to meet your other friends anyway." You chuckle, relieved that Vada doesn't seem bothered by Jordan's presence.
You begin unbuttoning your shirt, feeling a bit hot in it, leaving you in your white tank top. Vada glances over at you, her eyes lingering for a moment before she looks away, a faint blush creeping onto her cheeks.
Jordan walks over and throws the beach ball, obviously aiming to hit your face. You quickly catch it, sending your best friend a glare. Jordan lets out a silly laugh, clearly enjoying the playful banter. Vada raises an eyebrow at Jordan's antics, but her smile remains intact as she watches the interaction between the two of you.
"Someone has the guns out." Austin, another one of your friends says, walking toward the group with a mischievous grin. You roll your eyes at his comment, playfully flexing your muscles in response.
"You mean these?" You flex your biceps, exaggerating the muscles for comedic effect. Austin chuckles and nods, teasingly adding, "Yeah, those tiny peashooters." You playfully throw the ball at him, pretending to be offended by his remark.
"Alright, stop showing off in front of the pretty lady." Jordan teases, winking at Vada. Vada's face breaks into confusion, as she wonders if Jordan's comment was meant as a compliment or a joke. She looks at Austin for clarification, who shrugs and smirks, leaving her even more uncertain about the situation.
"Let's play a full game of volleyball," Austin suggests, picking up the beachball that had been thrown at him. Vada eagerly agrees, grateful for the distraction from the awkward tension between Jordan and herself.
You all split into two teams, with Vada and Jordan on one side and Austin and you on the other. Jordan serves the ball with a powerful swing, causing Austin to dive to the sand to make a save.
"Stop trying so hard, bitch!" Austin yells at Jordan with a smile on his lips. Jordan laughs, brushing off the comment with a playful smirk. The friendly banter between them lightens the atmosphere, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the game even more.
Mid-game, Vada takes off her slightly baggy shirt, which she tied with a knot at the front, revealing her bikini. You notice Jordan staring at Vada, his eyes lingering on her, causing jealousy to rise within you.
You smack the ball against Jordan's head, catching him off guard and breaking his gaze. He glares at you, earning a shrug, as you innocently raise your hands in defense. "You had a bug on your head."
-
You're dropping Vada off at her house after the game when she turns to you with a smile. "Thanks for saving me from Jordan's ogling," she says, playfully nudging your arm. "I owe you one."
You smile, blushing a bit. "You saw that?" You ask, your eye's widening slightly. Vada chuckles and nods, her eyes twinkling mischievously. "Oh, I definitely saw that. You were like my personal superhero swooping in to save the day."
"Well, I couldn't let him make you uncomfortable," you reply, feeling a surge of protectiveness. "I'm always here to look out for you." Vada's smile widens, and she leans in closer. You glance behind her and say, "I could walk you to the door.
Vada blinks and looks at you, her expression softening. "Sure." You quickly get out of the car, making your way to Vada's side. Shoving your hands in your pockets to hide your nerves, you match Vada's pace as you both walk towards her front door. The night air is cool, but the warmth of Vada's presence makes it feel comforting.
"If you want, we could hang out tomorrow?" You ask, hoping to spend more time with Vada. Before she could respond, her front door flies open. A short figure emerges from the doorway, causing both you and Vada to pause. It's Vada's younger sister who greets you with a friendly smile.
"Hey, guys! What are you up to?" she asks, oblivious to the tension in the air.
"Oh my god, Amelia." Vada exclaims, clearly annoyed with her younger sister's interruption. Amelia shrugs innocently, not realizing the impact of her sudden appearance. Vada takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself before addressing the situation.
"Mom! Vada brought a lesbian home!" Amelia shouts, slightly turning her head towards her mother, who is in the next room.
Everyone freezes, unsure of how to react to Amelia's unexpected announcement. Vada's face turns red with embarrassment while you thin out your lips, confused and a bit amused.
Vada's mouth drops. "I am so sorry." She says to you, her voice filled with genuine remorse. You shrug her off while Amelia gasps. "Oh, are you not a lesbian?"
You chuckle, "Um...I do like girls." Before Amelia could press you for more information, Vada's mom appears in the doorway. "What's going on here?" she asks, her voice laced with worry. Vada quickly explains the situation, hoping to diffuse any potential tension.
"I was just dropping Vada off from the beach," you also add, trying to ease any concerns. "We were just having a casual conversation, nothing serious." Vada's mom looks relieved and nods understandingly.
"Well, as long as everyone is okay," she says with a smile. You exchange a grateful glance with Vada, grateful for her mom's understanding.
"Would you like to stay for dinner?" Vada's mom offers, wanting to extend her gratitude for your honesty and reassure you that everything is alright. You glance at Vada, who stares at her mom with a shocked expression. "That would be really nice," you respond, feeling touched by Vada's mom's kindness.
Dinner was fun. Amelia had no filter, which made everything hilarious and entertaining. She shared funny and embarrassing stories of Vada, which Vada tries to interrupt with playful protests. Despite the initial shock, Vada soon joins in on the laughter, realizing that her sister's antics brought out a huge and genuine smile on your face.
There were also serious moments during dinner where Vada's parents questioned you about your future plans and aspirations. They were genuinely interested in your goals and offered advice and support. It was refreshing to have such meaningful conversations with Vada's family, making you feel like a valued member of their circle.
You throw yourself on Vada's bed, falling face first onto the soft pillows. Vada plops on top of your back, laughing at your dramatic entrance. She soon rolls off of you, and you lay on your back, gazing up at the ceiling.
Vada was such a breath of fresh air in your life. Her carefree spirit is infectious, and you can't help but feel happy every single time you're around her.
She has a way of making even the simplest moments feel special, and her laughter is like music to your ears. Being friends with Vada has brought so much joy and light into your life, and you can't imagine what it would be like without her.
Fuck this bet, you think to yourself. Vada's friendship is worth so much more than any silly wager.
"You look deep in thought." Vada's voice interrupts your contemplation, pulling you back to the present moment.  "What's on your mind?" she asks, her eyes filled with genuine concern.
You turn your head towards Vada, a small smile forming on your lips. "I was just thinking about how grateful I am to have you as a friend," you say sincerely. "Your friendship means the world to me."
"You're so sappy." Vada mumbles, laughing softly. You break out into a smile. "I'm pouring my heart out here, c'mon!" You tease playfully, putting on an Italian accent.
Vada rolls her eyes, but her smile betrays her amusement. "That was one of the worst Italian accents I've ever heard," she says, chuckling. "But...you mean a lot to me too."
You feel a warm rush of affection as Vada's words sink in. "I'm glad to hear that," you reply, licking your lips. A comfortable silence falls over the two of you as you both bask in the genuine connection and shared vulnerability. Your eyes never leave each other, as if speaking a language that only the two of you understand.
"Is that all?" Vada breaks the silence. "Or is there something else you want to say?"
"Be my girlfriend?" Vada's eyes widen with surprise, and she stares at you.  She takes a moment to process your words before responding, "Okay."
-
"I'm even more excited than I was." Jordan smiles, "I can't believe you got away with that." You shake your head at your best friend, an eye roll following.
"No, seriously. You asked her to be your girlfriend, it's barely been a month, and you didn't even kiss her after? Shits crazy."
You put the last plate on the table, "Shut the fuck up, Jordan."
Jordan chuckles, raising his hands in surrender. "Alright, alright, I'll drop it. But seriously, man, you might've won this bet. Still gotta get the parents approval, though."
You let out a sigh, saying, "Maybe we should drop this bet, man." Jordan raises an eyebrow, a mischievous grin forming on his face. "Are you getting cold feet already? Come on, don't tell me you're chickening out now."
You shoot him a glare but can't help but feel a twinge of doubt. "It's just... I don't want to risk ruining our friendship over some stupid bet." Jordan starts to smirk. "Oh shit, you actually caught feeling for her? You can't be serious."
You roll your eyes, trying to brush off Jordan's teasing. "So, what? She's a nice girl, and I don't want to mess things up with this stupid bet about her."
Jordan chuckles, bringing his fist to his mouth. "I can't believe you're actually considering backing out because of a little crush. You've never been one to shy away from a challenge before."
He sighs, adding to his argument. "How about this? If your parents go for it, we'll drop the bet. But if they don't, you have to tell her it was a bet and apologize for any hurt feelings. It's only fair to give her the truth and a chance to decide if she still wants to pursue a relationship with you."
"Fine." You mutter, leaving the room with a heavy sigh.
Vada arrives at your doorstep, a nervous smile on her face. She seems unaware of the bet that has been made and the doubts that have been plaguing you. As you open the door, you can't help but wonder if this could be the start of something real or if it's all just a game that will eventually come crashing down.
You bring Vada into a hug, mumbling into her ear, "I'm glad you're here." Vada returns the hug, sighing contentedly. You pull away, looking into her eyes.
"My dad is in the kitchen." Vada nods, hearing Bad Bunny blaring from the speakers. "Where's your mom?" You begin walking toward the kitchen, "She's in the living room, finishing up the tree. I'll introduce you to her later. Let's go say hi to my dad first." Vada smiles and follows you, playing with her ring as you lead the way.
"Una dominicana que es uva bombón!" Your dad shouts, singing the lyrics. Jordan joins in, singing the next line. "Uva, uva bombón!" You facepalm, shaking your head at their silliness. Vada giggles, clearly amused by their antics.
"Dad!" You shout, trying to regain their attention. "We have a guest here, remember?" Your dad and Jordan finally notice Vada standing there, and their faces light up with surprise and excitement. "Oh wow, who do we have here?" your dad asks, extending his hand towards Vada.
"This is Vada, my girlfriend." You introduce Vada with a smile. Vada returns the gesture, shaking your dad's hand warmly. "Girlfriend? Am I dreaming?" your dad exclaims, a wide grin spreading across his face. "I never thought I'd see the day! It's great to finally meet you, Vada."
You sigh at your father. "Es bonita, mija." You clear your throat, blushing a bit. "Suficiente papá." Your dad chuckles and playfully nudges you. "No need to be shy. I'm just happy to see you happy." Vada smiles warmly at both of you, grateful for the warm welcome.
Your mom walks in, her eyes widening with surprise as she takes in the scene. "Well, well, well," she says with a smirk. "Looks like someone finally found themselves a catch." You roll your eyes at your mom's teasing, but deep down, you appreciate her support and acceptance.
Vada begins talking to your parents while you excuse yourself to speak to Jordan. "Looks like I won the bet." You say with a playful smile, feeling a sense of triumph. Jordan chuckles and shakes his head, admitting defeat.
"Jordan, Y/N, come help me bring out the food." Your mom calls out, breaking the playful banter between you and Jordan. You both exchange amused glances before making your way to help her, Vada also joins, eager to lend a hand.
Jordan is the last to leave the kitchen, hearing your parents talk about Vada. "Crees que es otro truco?" Your dad asks your mom. Jordan leans against the kitchen counter, listening intently to your parents' conversation about Vada. He raises an eyebrow, curious about their suspicions.
"No lo sé, cariño. Parece genuino, no crees?" Your dad shrugs at your mother's question, contemplating the authenticity of Vada's intentions. Jordan rushes out to the dining room, catching you staring at Vada like a lovesick puppy.
"Y/N." Jordan calls out your name, interrupting your daydreaming and bringing you back to reality. You hum, nodding your head at him. "Can I talk to you for a second?" You nod and follow Jordan to a quieter corner of the room.
"I heard your parents talking about how they think this is a trick." He begins to smirk, "Maybe this bet may be mine anyways." You roll your eyes, tired of this stupid bet.
"Whatever bro. I just wanna eat and enjoy dinner without any drama." Jordan chuckles, his smirk fading slightly. "Come on, Y/N. You know it's all in good fun. Besides, it's not like Vada and you are actually gonna last." You raise an eyebrow at him, wondering what he's getting at.
"What do you mean by that?" you ask, leaning in closer to Jordan. "Are you trying to say that Vada and I don't have a real connection?" Jordan shrugs, a sneaky glint in his eyes. "I'm just saying, Y/N, relationships at our age rarely go the distance. But hey, prove me wrong."
You scoff at him, "Sure...whatever you say. Don't be shocked when Vada and I prove you wrong and end up together for the long haul." Jordan raises an eyebrow, his sneaky glint fading slightly. "Well, I guess time will tell," he concedes, a hint of doubt in his voice.
When dinner ends, everyone begins to clean up and put away the dishes. "Have you seen my AirPods anywhere?" you ask Jordan, hoping he might have seen them. "You left them in my car like an entire month ago."
You roll your eyes and playfully nudge him. "Seriously? You couldn't have mentioned that earlier?" Jordan chuckles and shrugs. "I guess I wanted to see how long it would take for you to realize they were missing."
"You're a dickhead."
"Language!" From the kitchen, your mom scolds, reminding you to watch your language. You sheepishly apologize and snatch Jordan's keys from him. He glares at you, pulling at his phone that began ringing in his pocket.
"Wanna get some air?" You ask Vada, gesturing towards the open front door. Vada nods, following behind you as you step outside. "Your parents are nice. They're pretty chill, and your mom is honestly like drop-dead gorgeous."
You chuckle. "Do I have to compete with my mom for your attention now?" Vada laughs and playfully nudges you. "Nah, don't worry. You're more than enough for me."
You walk to Jordan's car, leaning against it as you wait for Vada to join you. "Wanna sit in the car?" You suggest, knowing that it might be more comfortable than standing outside. Vada considers for a moment before agreeing, "Sure, why not? It's a bit chilly out here." You both settle into the car, leaning back in the back leather seats.
Silence falls between you as you take in the peacefulness of the moment.
You look over at Vada, a soft smile playing on your lips. Vada turns her head to you before sitting up in her seat, leaning forward slightly. Her eyes fall to your lips, staring at them intently.
Without thinking, she leans in closer, capturing your lips with a gentle yet passionate kiss. The warmth of her touch sends a shiver down your spine, and you find yourself lost in the moment, forgetting about the chilly weather outside.
The kiss begins to deepen as Vada's hands slide up to cup your face, pulling you even closer. You find yourself melting against her lips, savoring the taste of her soft, sweet breath.
You pull away, breathless and hot, your heart racing as you lock eyes with Vada. "Can I turn on the A/C?" You mutter to the freckled-faced girl. Vada chuckles but nods regardless.
You put the key in the ignition and start the car, the engine purring to life. The cool air from the A/C quickly fills the car, providing a refreshing contrast to the heated moment that just transpired.
You bring Vada into another kiss, more passionate and urgent than before. The intensity between you both grows as you explore each other's mouths, losing yourselves in the heat of the moment. Your hand is tangled in Vada's hair, pulling her closer to you if that were possible.
"Y/N's still doing that bet with Vada?" You recognize that voice, it was Austin. You pull away from Vada, your eyes falling on Jordan's car screen, confirming he was on the phone with Austin. It must've connected to the car automatically, allowing Austin's voice to fill the car.
You quickly release Vada and feel a rush of embarrassment wash over you. You exchange a nervous glance with Vada, hoping Austin doesn't go in detail about the bet you've been participating in.
"It's silly, really. This all started because she didn't wanna do her math homework? So she decided to start dating baby Adam Sandler and introduce her to her parents? That's pretty fucked up. If I were Vada, I'd be pissed."
You close your eyes, taking a deep breath to steady your racing heart. The weight of Austin's words hangs heavy in the air. You hope that Vada understands that it was all just a silly game and that she won't hold it against you.
"Is he serious? A bet? Am I a bet to you?" You feel a knot forming in your stomach as Vada's voice trembles with hurt and disbelief. The realization hits you like a ton of bricks, and you quickly shake your head, desperately trying to find the right words to explain yourself.
"Am I a fucking bet to you?" Vada's voice cracks with anger, and tears well up in her eyes. The pain in her words cuts deep, leaving you speechless and filled with regret. You reach out to touch her arm, hoping to convey your sincerity and remorse, but the damage may already be done.
Vada pushes away your arm, opening the car door and slamming it shut behind her. Her actions speak louder than words, and you watch helplessly as she walks away, leaving you to grapple with the consequences of your thoughtless words.
Jordan rushes to the driver's side of the door, out of breath. "Did she hear?" Jordan asks, panting as he rests his hand on the car door. The worry in his eyes mirrors your own as you shake your head, uncertain of how to fix the mess you've made. "She did."
-
It's been two days, and you've called Vada's phone and sent multiple texts, but there's been no response. The silence only amplifies your guilt and regret as you desperately hope for a chance to apologize and make things right.
You decide to call her house phone, surprised when someone answers. "Mrs. Cavell?" You ask on the phone, hoping to speak with Vada's mother. "It's Amelia, asshole. Don't call again."
You're bewildered by the harsh response from Amelia. You never expected her to be so angry and hostile toward you. "Amelia, please. Just put your sister on the phone."
You plead, hoping to reason with Amelia and convince her to let you speak with Vada. However, Amelia's voice remains firm and cold as she refuses your request, leaving you feeling even more desperate and regretful.
"If I buy you $100 worth of slime supplies, will you let me talk to Vada?" you offer, trying to find a compromise. But Amelia's response is immediate and resolute, "No amount of slime supplies will change my mind. Don't contact us again."
"Fine! $200!" you exclaim, desperation creeping into your voice. Amelia stays silent for a moment, finally giving in. "Our parents are out. If you come over, you have ten minutes to speak to her." Relief washes over you as Amelia finally agrees to let you talk to Vada, even if it means spending more money.
With a renewed sense of urgency, you quickly make plans to rush over to their house within the given time frame, hoping that this opportunity will help mend the strained relationship between you and Vada.
You burst through Vada's room, and she jumps up in surprise, her eyes widening as she takes in your unexpected presence. "I'm on limited time by your sister, so I have to make this quick."
You take a deep breath, walking closer to Vada. "I made that bet before I met you, Vada. And spending time with you made me realize that winning that bet was not what was important anymore. What matters to me now is repairing our relationship and showing you how much you mean to me."
Vada's expression softens as she listens, her guard slowly starting to come down. "I never wanted to hurt you, Vada. I want us to start fresh and build something real together."
"What was it for anyway? I mean, what did you end up losing?" Vada asks, her curiosity piqued. You take another step closer before continuing. "I lost a lot of things, Vada. I lost your trust, our connection, and the chance to truly be there for you. But what I gained was the realization that you are the most important person in my life and the one girl that my parents truly approve of."
Vada stands up, playing with the bottom of her shirt. She looks down for a moment, deep in thought, before finally meeting your gaze. "Don't make me sing again." You jokingly mutter, looking down at the shorter girl.
Vada's eyes widen, and a small smile tugs at the corners of her lips. "No, not this time," she says playfully. "But I do expect you to make it up to me in some other way."
You smile, leaning down and lifting Vada's chin with your finger. Vada glances at your lips before looking back up into your eyes. You smirk before closing the distance between you, capturing her lips in a gentle kiss.
Your worries fade away, drowning in the sound of your heart pounding against your ribcage. Vada's arms wrap around your neck, pulling you closer, and you can't help but let out a content sigh against her lips.
As you pull away, Vada's cheeks flush with a rosy hue, and she bites her lip, opening her mouth to speak but is interrupted. "Ten minutes is up. Where's my $200?" Amelia says from Vada's door, holding out her hand expectantly.
Vada pulls away from you, confused. "What is she talking about?" You clear your throat. "I might've...um...made a deal with Amelia so she could let me talk to you."
Vada's eyes widen in surprise as she processes your words. "You paid her to see me?" she asks, laughing. You smile sheepishly, "Well, I wanted to make sure I had a chance to talk to you without any interruptions. It was worth every penny."
Vada's laughter fills the room as she playfully nudges your shoulder, "You're ridiculous, but I'm glad you did."

the city can wait
Summary: You had promised your girlfriend one night of not disappearing. Of course, it just had to be on the craziest night of the year.
Word Count: 2,6k Warnings: swearing, drug and alcohol mention Pairing: Vada Cavell x Reader
Tumblr media
Halloween. The one time of year where you didn’t really have to hide anything, you could roam around the city, only making excuses to leave instead of why you were dressed… a certain way. Not that your girlfriend ever really seemed to notice. It was probably the single greatest thing about her proclivity for weed; she never noticed.
“How does it look?” The woman herself asked as she finally stepped out of the bathroom and into the small apartment living room.
“How-” you covered your mouth with your hand “-how did you sneak that into the apartment?”
“How did you not notice it?”
Your mouth closed with a snap, and you nodded slowly. That was a very good point. How you had managed to miss a bright pink bunny costume was beyond you. Maybe it was because, much like you, Vada was a random variable. There was never any way that you could prepare for something she did, so you had quit noticing the “weird” things.
“At least you’re cute,” you said with a shrug and a smile. There was no point in arguing when she was right.
“I know I am,” she said with her own smile that took over her whole face.
God, she was adorable. Yes, she was grown, and yes, she was wearing what would technically be classified as a children’s costume. But did you care? Hell no, she was precious. If anything, it made you love her even more. Her childish side kept your head above water when things were getting tough, and you wouldn’t trade it for the world.
“Are you going to keep staring?” She asked. “Or are we going to that party?”
“Let me grab my mask and we can go,” you said.
You practically hopped up from the couch, stopping just long enough to kiss Vada on the cheek before running to your shared room. It was stupid to hide your mask in the closet of your room, you knew that, but it was easy enough to play off. It’s a cosplay, you had explained the first time Vada had found it. It worked. She claimed you were just weird enough for it to be believable.
Which was a little rude, but beggars couldn’t be choosers.
The mask still smelled of smoke from the week before. A smell that you were starting to become numb to. Hell, if Vada hadn’t brought it up the next day, you wouldn’t have even noticed. What did you smoke last night? She had asked. Because it wasn’t weed. You couldn’t remember which bullshit answer you had given her, all you remembered was that it was enough to get her to drop it.
How often, you wondered as you worked your way back to the living room, had she noticed something was off? It wasn’t like you were the sneakiest person around. If she behaved the way you did, you hoped you would notice. There was no way to not notice the bumps and bruises and unusual “work” hours. Well, you really did work, but that wasn’t the point!
“You’re so slow,” Vada called from the living room. “You’re the worst Spider-man ever.”
“I’m sure you could find worse,” you called back as you finally saw her again. Her smile never failed to get your heart racing. “Nick wouldn’t even get up to help anyone.”
“That’s why you’re the one I keep around,” she said. She reached over and grabbed your hand, pulling you out of the apartment that you hoped was locked. If it wasn’t?
Well, at least you knew a good superhero.
“You don’t keep me around for anything else?” You asked once you were both downstairs and walking down the crazy streets of New York City.
Everyone was dressed up for Halloween. There were kids running around, adults seeming tired even though it was barely 7:30, and teenagers and college kids acting like they owned the place. Which they kind of did, but it was fine. You and Vada were one of those college kids, so you couldn’t really complain. At least everyone seemed to be having a nice night already.
And hopefully not causing any trouble.
“I mean,” Vada started, “I guess you’re a good kisser too.”
“I am?” You asked. The smile on your face was… rather humiliating.
“But only when you’re not running off to go who-knows-where,” she continued.
Oh. Well that wasn’t as exciting.
“Speaking of running off,” she said when you both pulled up to the apartment building. She pulled you off to the side and stood in front of you.
God, just looking into her eyes? You loved her. Everything about her. From the sparkle in her eyes to the goofy half smile that she would get when she did something a little silly. It was in the soft yet needy way she held onto your hand, almost as if you would run away if she let go.
“No running off tonight,” Vada said, pulling you out of your admiration.
Right.
“I wouldn’t dream of it-”
“-I mean it,”  she continued, gently jabbing her finger into your chest. “We haven’t had a full night together in months.”
You sighed. Maybe she was right. Each time you had attempted to set up a night with Vada, something serious had gone on around the city. Hell, there had been serious riots just the other week! But you wouldn’t argue that you were getting into the nasty habit of running without any hesitation.
Perhaps you weren’t quite so good at balancing hero life and personal life. At least not like you thought you were.
“You may be Spider-Man tonight,” she said, her tone already turning softer, “but the city can wait.”
Oh, if only she knew.
“Yes ma’am,” you said anyway.
“Pinky promise,” she said.
If she wasn’t trying to act so serious, you would’ve laughed at the insistence when she held her small fist in front of her, pinky finger attempting to stick straight up. She was hindered by the rabbit gloves, but it was the thought that counted. See? That was another thing you loved about her. You may have lost most of your innocence, but she had enough for the both of you.
“Pinky promise,” you repeated, reaching out with your own hand and locking fingers with her as best you could.
“Seal the deal,” she said.
You rolled your eyes, but couldn’t help the smile on your face. It wasn’t going to stop you, though, as you leaned down and placed a light kiss on Vada’s lips. Her hands attempted to grab the front of your suit, but she was thwarted by the giant gloves. You nearly choked on a laugh but managed to keep your cool. Mostly. A little. Okay, you laughed, but it was fine!
“Come on, Spider-dude,” Vada huffed, “let’s have some fun.”
Surprisingly? You did. Not surprising in that you didn’t enjoy parties, or being with Vada. Hell, being with Vada was the best part of your life. Any time with her was a good time, and you would do anything to stay with her. But it was surprising in that, for the first time since discovering your, uh, condition, you could relax.
For the first time, you weren’t spending every second wondering if someone was being hurt, or if there was something you could do to help. You didn’t have that desire to swing between buildings, looking for even the slightest indication that something was wrong. No, none of it was on your mind, and you could finally act your age. You could be a normal kid.
Until you couldn’t.
“Did you two see this?” Mia asked as she came up to where you were sitting with Vada on your lap.
“See what?” You asked.
“Put it away,” Vada said instantly before Mia could hand her phone over. “You pinky promised.”
“I just wanna know,” you tried to argue.
“You’re not actually a hero, you know,” she said.
Oh, if only she knew.
“But I am nosy,” you tried to defend. Tried being the key word. “Let me see.”
Vada groaned loudly, but didn’t bother stopping you from taking Mia’s phone from her outstretched hand. The news app was opened to display a fire raging in what appeared to be a residential building. At the top of the screen, the banner read “Queens apartment fire still ongoing.”
Your stomach dropped. Were there people trapped in the building? If the fire was still raging on, did the fire department need any help? Surely they couldn’t handle it all on their own, they probably needed a hand. After all, who better to find trapped civilians than you? It would only take about 20 minutes, then you could get back and spend the rest of the night at the party like you were supposed to.
Vada shifted on your lap. Oh. Right. You couldn’t just leave. You had made a promise that you wouldn’t leave all night. And as silly as it might seem, you didn’t take that promise lightly. Even though she turned it into a joke and something that wasn’t really a big deal, you knew otherwise. Thanks to the shooting, Vada hid most of her “serious” feelings, but that didn’t mean you couldn’t see the subtle ways she showed them.
“That’s a shame,” you finally managed to say, handing the phone back to Mia. “I hope no one gets hurt.”
You felt Vada’s arms tighten slightly around your shoulders.
“Wow,” Mia said with a slow nod. “I thought Spider-Man would rush off to help.”
“Yeah,” you said, chuckling humourlessly, “but I can’t help anyone if my girlfriend kills me.”
“Good answer,” Vada said before placing a sloppy kiss on your cheek. She was far more into PDA when she was drinking.
You loved it.
What you didn’t love, however, was all the crime and chaos that apparently decided to wait until you couldn’t leave. Fires, robberies, shootings, everything that could happen? Happened. Each time Mia walked up to you and Vada, your heart jumped into your throat before you even saw what was on her phone. And each time, you had to fight every instinct in your body to rush out and help.
And Vada always gave you a kiss immediately after.
The kisses made you feel a little better about internally saying no to leaving. Vada would get the biggest smile on her face and pull you down for the kiss. She tasted of cheap alcohol and questionable chasers and the tiniest hint of weed. But she was warm, and her lips were soft, and each kiss had you more and more convinced that you just needed to take her back home and remind her how much you loved her.
By the time you were both attempting to leave the party, you didn’t even feel so bad about taking the night for yourself. You weren’t even paying attention when Mia came back up to you and Vada for the last time of the night, phone in hand and news app open.
“One more for the New York Chaos?” Vada asked.
“Ending Halloween with a bang,” Mia said with a shrug.
Something at the back of your mind told you to look at the phone. To see how bad it was. The night was practically over, you had kept your promise and had stayed throughout the entire party. Would it count as breaking the promise once you were out of the apartment?
But you felt Vada’s hand squeeze yours, and you looked at her. She had pulled the hood off her bunny suit about an hour ago, claiming it was too hot. Her hair was slicked back with a few strands sticking to her forehead, but she still looked absolutely stunning. She was your Vada.
“Leave it to New York to let the crazies out tonight,” you said without even taking the phone.
Mia smiled. “Stay safe going home.”
You both bid Mia a goodnight, promising to stay safe, before Vada led you out of the apartment and back to the streets. It was a quick walk home, a little quieter than normal thanks to the alcohol coursing through both of your bodies. But it was comfortable, and you were happy. Truly happy. It was a nice feeling.
“Tonight was fun,” you said when you closed the apartment door behind you while Vada started pulling her costume off.
“See what happens when you stay?” She teased.
“I know, I know,” you huffed, letting out a sigh when you tried to move. The suit was chafing.
“I have to admit something,” Vada said. There was a tone to her voice that you didn’t hear very often. A tone that meant trouble.
“What?” You asked.
She licked her lips before biting her bottom lip. You stepped forward, placing your hands on her hips. Whatever it was, you didn’t want her to think you were upset with her. Clearly something was bothering her, or at least making her think twice. You weren’t going to make it harder than it had to be.
“You know all those news reports tonight?” She asked slowly.
You nodded.
“None of them were… real.”
“What?” You blurted out before you could even stop yourself.
“They weren’t real,” she repeated with a nervous giggle. One that she only used when she knew she was in trouble.
“What do you mean they weren’t real?” You asked, doing your best to keep your voice level.
“We were testing you,” she continued.
“For what?” You asked again.
“I know this isn’t a cosplay,” she said, pulling lightly on the collar of your suit.
“You-” you exhaled harshly. What did she mean, she knows? There was no way. You weren’t the most sneaky, but you weren’t stupid. How could she possibly know? Maybe you were just a really committed cosplayer, did she ever think about that?
“No one coincidentally disappears before every disaster in the city,” Vada said. Her hands smoothed your suit down, resting on your shoulders. They were soft. You loved the feel of her hands.
She knew. She knew. Oh god, she knew. What were you going to do now? Was it going to put her in danger? She said “we,” did that mean Mia too? Oh god did that mean both of them were in danger? They were both trouble on their own, let alone when they were together. How were you going to keep both of them safe?
“When did you find out?” You asked, ignoring the fifty million other questions running through your mind.
“A few months ago,” Vada said with a sheepish smile. “Mia was over when you snuck in and passed out on the couch in the suit and mask.”
Oh.
Oh, maybe you were stupid.
“I kinda think it’s hot,” Vada continued when you still couldn’t find anything else to say. “Have anything that would be fun in bed?”
You looked at her in shock for only a moment before lifting her up. Her legs wrapped around your waist before she rested her hands on your neck and leaned down to kiss you. You didn’t have to look to know where the bedroom was. If she wanted to learn a few things, then you would show her.
The city could wait for one night.

Vads <3 (8:16pm): SOS
Vads <3 (8:16pm): 911
Vads <3 (8:16pm): SOS
You glanced at your phone, annoyed at the incessant vibrating while you were trying to study, and your eyes widened when you saw your girlfriend’s texts. You scrambled to answer her, anxiety flooding through your veins.
You (8:17pm): whats going on???
You (8:17pm): are u ok???
Vads <3 (8:17pm): get over here asap.
Vads <3 (8:17pm): pls im gonna cry
You shot out of your chair, didn’t bother with grabbing a coat or your wallet or your keys as you rushed out of your room, and nearly tripped down the stairs with your speed. You slipped your shoes on quickly, called out to your mom to let her know you were leaving, and then slammed the door shut behind you, breaking out into a sprint.
Vada lived a mile away, on the other side of town. Your lungs stung and your legs burned as you ran, not stopping for a moment, even when you felt like your body was going to shut down on you, even when you swore you were tearing a hole in the sole of your sneakers.
You bounded up her front steps and practically face-planted into her door before pushing it open, knowing the Cavells never kept it locked.
“Vada!” you called, hastily making your way to her room. “Vada, I’m here!”
You didn’t knock. You just barged into her room, and then you stilled at what you saw. It looked like a tornado had blown through her bedroom: her blankets were hanging off her window sill, her pillows were strewn around the floor, her books had all been pulled off her bookshelf. She sat in the middle of the disaster, on the floor, her knees pressed against her chest and her face burrowed in her arms.
“Vads?” you asked, careful not to step on any of her belongings as you ventured further in. She looked up, her eyes wild and wide, her breathing hard. “What’s going on? What is it?”
“I--" She inhaled sharply and clenched her eyes shut. You swore her lip was trembling as you knelt beside her, a hand rubbing soothing circles on her back. “I--”
“It’s okay, baby. You can talk to me,” you whispered, trying to keep your voice calm. You glanced around the room, wondering what could have happened to make Vada explode like that.
She looked at you, took a deep breath in, and then all at once said, “I lost my vape.”
You froze, disbelief settling in your stomach. “You--you lost your vape?” It took a moment for the statement to process in your mind, and once it did, you shook your head. “You texted me ‘911’...because you lost your vape?! I thought you were dying!”
“Baby, I am dying,” she argued. “How am I supposed to live without nicotine?”
“You’re the worst. You know that right?” You sighed and stood, extending your hand for her to take. “C’mon, let’s go to the smoke shop. I’ll buy you a new one.”
Her eyes lit up, a grin breaking out on her face. “Really?” She grabbed your hand and hoisted herself up. “Yay!”
She skipped out of her room, leaving you standing in the middle of it. You sighed as you looked around a final time. “Un-fucking-believable.”
bonus: when you and vada returned from the smoke shop, her vape safely protected in her pocket, and you walked into her room, you paused.
“vada…”
she hummed and looked at you. “yeah, babe?”
you pointed at her desk, where a familiar object sat out in the open. “is that your old vape?”
“...oops.”

Oh!Dealer Pt III
Summary: Drug Dealer! R and Vada make amends.
Word Count: 3K
Warnings: Language, drug use
A/N: Crush lives!! This story is one of my favorites and of course, it's going to be the one to bring me back to writing again. This fic was strongly inspired by Euphoria and I was heartbroken to hear about Angus, so this one goes out to you Fezco
Part I Part II
Tumblr media
Sleep doesn’t come easy. You spend restless nights staring at the duffel bag of drugs, watching it twist and morph into a fanged monster in the shadows. When you close your eyes, the guilt clenches around your stomach, viselike and unrelenting. Vada’s downturned mouth and secretly hopeful brows swim into view, never giving you a moment to just breathe.
You huff and rub your eyes. You’re exhausted, but you know you won’t be able to sleep. You pick up your phone, open it to the chat with Vada. Bite your lip as you think. You shake your leg and tap your finger against the side of your phone.
Truth is, you have no fucking clue how to make amends. You were being a real asshole the last time you saw her, and she hadn’t done anything to deserve it. You lock the phone and drop it on your stomach with a sigh. The duffel looms ominously in the corner and the clock in your head ticks away, precious seconds slipping by as you fail to even try to sell the contents.
You grit your teeth and resolve to deal with it tomorrow. No more hiding. Whisper and Noodle won’t be merciful if you fail to get their money to them on time. You’ll have to deal with the Vada situation eventually, but first, sell the damn drugs.
You’re finally, mercifully drifting off to sleep when a quiet clinking catches your attention. You grumble and roll over, pulling the comforter to your chin, unwilling to deal with whatever is making the sound. A few seconds pass and it’s there again. A clink against your window. Another second, another clink.
You crack your eyes open, brows furrowed and nostrils flared. Your eyes slip shut again, only to be wrenched open at a thump against the glass. Growling, you throw your blankets back and sit up, swinging your feet to the floor. With bleary eyes, you catch the source of the noise.
A pebble smacks into your window, making you jump back in surprise.
“What the fuck?” you whisper, your exhausted mind unable to piece together what’s happening.
You lean your head down, inspecting the glass when another pebble hits it. You grit your teeth, irritated now that you’ve realized what’s happening.
You rip the window open, and a tiny pebble hits you right between the eyes. Before you can even bark a curse out, you hear a gasp and a muffled giggle.
“Oh my god I’m so sorry!” A high-pitched half whisper cuts through the night.
You rub your forehead, squinting into the dark, “Vada?”
She materializes from the shadows, stepping forward into the planter outside your window, a sheepish grin on her face. Her arm awkwardly rises in a half-wave.
“I didn’t know you were gonna open it, sorry. Guess my aim is better than I thought.”
You cock your head to the side, unable to understand why she was now standing in your grandmother's poppies, “You know you could have just knocked on the window. It’s not like I have a second floor. Or texted me,” you add as an afterthought.
She shrugs, “I didn’t think you’d answer.”
Under normal circumstances, now was when you’d close your window and wordlessly tell her to get out of your hair. But things are different now. A wave of relief and peace crashes over you just from seeing her in your front yard.
“Aren’t you mad at me?” You ask her, your voice still hushed.
She frowns and bites the inside of her cheek, “I thought you were mad at me.”
Your eyebrows shoot up in surprise, “No I just…” you sigh, looking up and down the street, “do you want to come in?”
She nods excitedly, hurrying over to your window, and starts to climb inside, pushing past you.
You shake your head, “I meant the front door, but sure, take the path of least resistance.”
You slide the window shut and turn to find Vada hovering awkwardly at the foot of your bed. Fighting the urge to roll your eyes at her (you’re the one who should be feeling anxious) you gesture toward the bed granting her permission to sit. She kicks off her shoes and crawls into the bed like it’s her own, curling under the comforter and making herself comfortable with one of the pillows.
You smile softly to yourself and climb in next to her, grateful for once at her antics. She slides her hand over, her fingertips brushing the bare skin of your arm. Her eyes are wide, searching when you turn to look at her.
“Do you want to talk about your birthday?” She whispers, a strand of hair falling across her face.
You scrunch your face in apprehension, “Not really, but I guess you deserve an explanation.”
She shrugs a shoulder, her fingers slowly tracing a line of goosebumps on your arm, “You don’t have to. I overstepped by just showing up, I know you like your boundaries but I was just so excited-“
“No,” you say, turning to sit up on your elbow and look down at her.
Her face contorts from remorse into confusion, so you continue, “No I wasn’t upset about that. You just caught me on a really, really bad day V.”
“How bad?”
“Apocalyptic bad.”
She stays quiet, waiting for you to elaborate. You pinch the bridge of your nose between your thumb and forefinger.
“I…” you sigh, “I don’t want you to know how bad it is. It could put you in danger.”
Vada perks up, “I laugh in the face of danger!”
You roll your eyes, “Okay Simba. This is serious shit I’m in.”
“Drug stuff?”
You nod once, “Drug stuff.”
She’s quiet, her eyes searching your face as if she can find the answers to her questions there. A small frown plays on her brows, her hand fully reaching out to yours now. She looks down at her fingers intertwining with yours, then back at you.
“Tell me. I want to help you.”
Your face softens, “You can’t V. You shouldn’t even be here right now,” Vada opens her mouth to protest but you raise a finger, “But I am happy you’re here. I’m sorry. For the other day. You didn’t deserve that.”
She nods, “Forgiven.” She looks like she wants to press you further, but relents. “Can I stay the night?”
You should say no. You should throw her out your back door and tell her to run. Maybe pull a White Fang and throw a rock in her general direction. But you don’t. Instead, you nod, wrap your arms around her waist and quickly fall asleep breathing in the smell of her coconut shampoo.
——
Vada is gone when you wake up. You would wonder if her being there was a dream if it weren’t for the note resting on the pillow next to you. Her blocky handwriting is scrawled across the page, and you find yourself admiring how terrible the penmanship is before you actually read it.
“Had to get home before my parents woke up. See you at the party tonight? P.S. You snored like a caveman all night, hope you slept good! - V”
You read the note twice, hoping the snoring bit was a joke. If it wasn’t, you were going to choose to completely ignore it like it never happened. Knowing Vada, she’d happily remind you at the party.
Your eyes widen. The party. There was going to be an absolute rager at a frat house near the college a town over. Your eyes flit to the duffel bag, and you know exactly what you’re going to do.
——
Walking up to a mini mansion carrying several thousand dollars worth of drugs was not on your bingo card for this year. Usually, you kept things low key, a burner phone text and a handoff, simple. Easy. Not today.
The streetlights are just beginning to flicker on, but the youth of the night didn’t seem to hinder the chaos that was already in full swing as you walked up the block. Music thumped out of the open windows, laughter and screams mixing in with it. A handful of people hung around on the front porch, smoking cigarettes and stumbling around the front yard.
A few people recognize you and call out, promising to find you soon with pockets full of cash. You grin and nod at them, at ease with the fact that you were going to accomplish the impossible. No way you were leaving that house with a single elicit baggy in your possession.
You push through the front door and are immediately met with what can only be described as a barely contained riot. People are dancing in every empty space, a group is chanting around a beer pong table, and a keg sits in a chair in the living room like the guest of honor.
You scan the faces, looking for Vada. Pushing through the crowd of bodies, you continue your search but are forced to give up halfway to the kitchen. People are shoving money in your face, eyeing the bag on your shoulder. You shrug, figuring it can’t be too early to get started.
By the time you reach the kitchen, you have a significant wad of cash in your pocket and a hefty dent in your supply. You shove your way to the island, making yourself a strong drink from the collection of bottles strewn around. You wince as you take a gulp, scanning the chaos.
A squeeze just above your hip startles you, “I’m lookin' for trouble young lady, got any of that in your bag?”
You roll your eyes at Vada’s terrible deep voice impression and turn to look down at her, “If you’ve got the cash, I’ve got the trouble,” you reply, a playful grin pulling at your lips.
“Hi,” Vada chirps, stepping in to give you a hug.
Over her shoulder, you watch as the eyes in the room stray to the two of you, curious and surprised. You step back from her, leaving a hand on her shoulder.
“If you keep hugging me in public, you’re going to rank my reputation.”
A snort to your left turns your head. Vada’s friend Nick is there, eyes bright. His expression tells you he knows everything, and Vada’s sudden lip chewing and blush confirm it.
“Nick,” you say, nodding to him.
“Evasive Chopin-loving drug dealer,” he replies with a grin.
You smirk, bring a finger to your lips in a ‘ssh’ motion. He winks at you and slides past Vada into the beer pong shuffle.
Vada plucks at your arm, clearly wanting to touch you, but hesitant to overstep, “So,” she says, “how’s business?”
“Booming,” you grin, lifting the bag slung on your shoulder.
“And the danger?” She asks.
“Growing less lethal by the gram.”
She nods, “Think you can save a dime for later, once the shop has closed?”
“Oooh I don’t know, can you afford it?” You say, jabbing her with your elbow.
She rolls her eyes, “You need help?”
“Nah,” you shake your head, “I’ll come find you when I’m done. Go have fun.”
She nods, leans up on her toes, and kisses your cheek before laughing and fleeing into the crowd. You have half a mind to scold her for it, but you actually find it kind of sweet. After a brief moment of enjoying the feeling of your icy exterior thawing at the hands of Vada, you straighten back up. You have a job to do.
——
It takes a bit longer than you’d hoped to move it all, but a few hours into the night and your bag is now filled with cold hard cash instead of tiny plastic bags.
It doesn’t take you long to find Vada and Nick, once you’re done. You burst into the backyard, feeling like a thousand-pound weight has been lifted from your chest. You feel so accomplished, you allow yourself to laugh when you see Vada being held upside down by two extremely large football players with the keg spout in her mouth.
You saunter over next to Nick, who’s watching her with mock irritation that looks more like adoration. He side eyes you, and just his chin in her direction.
“She’s staying with you tonight. No way I’m letting her puke in my car again.”
You frown, “That is not something I signed up for.”
Nick snorts, “Read the fine print babe, your name is written all over her now.”
You tilt your head, watching Vada unceremoniously begin to shoot beer through her nose as the guys return her to her feet. She staggers over, coughing and wiping her mouth.
“Well if it isn’t my two favorite queers,” she drawls, a wild grin on her face.
Nick rolls his eyes and playfully punches her shoulder. Her drunkenness makes her bold, and she slips under your arm, wrapping one of hers around your waist like it’s the most natural thing in the world. You raise an eyebrow at her but allow it. You’ve been drinking too, and it’s effectively lowered your guard.
Vada pulls you over to a grimy set of couches near the pool, dropping onto it with you in tow. She chatters happily about nothing in particular, and you’re content to just listen to her nonsense. Eventually, her eyes light up and she leans into you.
“Did you save some weed?” She whispers conspiratorially, her eyes moving between yours and your bag.
You pull a tightly rolled joint from a small pocket in the bag, twisting it in your fingers, “It’s gonna cost you,” you say, your eyes glinting.
Vada’s eyes narrow, and after a moment she moves closer to you until she’s nearly in your lap. She leans over, her eyes traveling between yours, down to your lips and back up. Your heart begins to pound, excited that she understood what you hadn’t said. She leans over, you lick your lips.
With surprising speed, she snatches the joint from your fingers and leans back, belly laughing at her successful subterfuge. You glare at her, but hand over the lighter in your other hand and accept defeat. She lights the end, takes a drag, and coughs a little. You huff a laugh through your nose at her, and she drags on it again. This time, she leans over, presses her lips to yours, and exhales the smoke into your open mouth.
If she was trying to shut you up, she was successful. If she was trying to actually get high though, that was going to fail. You pull her over, falling backward on the couch with her. The duffel drops to the ground at your side, and you don’t see where the joint goes but before you know it both of Vada’s hands are on your face, pulling you into her lips.
You’re faintly aware of the cheers being shouted around you, but you can’t find it in yourself to care. You only want to focus on the softness of the body on yours, the tongue that skates across your lower lip, the hands that wrap gently around your jaw.
You let yourself go, falling into the comfort of knowing you won’t be brutally murdered in the next few days, and that this beautiful girl is kissing you like her life depends on it. Your hands wander, sliding down her back to her hips, pulling her as if she could get any closer to you. She sighs into your mouth, and your head is wonderfully foggy.
She pushes back, lifting herself to look down at you with low lidded eyes and a drunken smile. “Wanna get out of here?” She asks, and you nod, hazy and content.
You sit up with her, reaching down for the bag of money at your side. You sweep around without looking, and when your fingers fail to find what you’re seeking, the fog in your mind dissipates. Your stomach clenches, your heart racing again, unpleasant this time. You don’t want to look down at your feet. You can’t bare the possibility that the bag may be gone.
If you can’t see it, it can still be Schrödinger’s bag. Gone and there at the same time.
“You okay?” Vada asks, concern clouding her features.
“Vada,” you say, your voice cracking.
“Yeah?”
“Please don’t tell me my duffel bag is not sitting at my feet.”
She glances down, her eyes widening, “Umm okay. I won’t tell you.”
“Vada.”
“Yeah.”
“It’s gone isn’t it.”
Vada turns her head toward the party, frantically searching the crowd. She grimaces, bites her lip, and turns back to you.
“So…on a scale of one to ten-“
“Ten thousand Vada. Literally whatever the scale of my fucking life is.”
“Okay,” she says, raising her hand to pet your shoulder, “okay. We’ll find it. Let’s not go cataclysmic.”
You finally summon the courage to look down at where the bag should be. A single dollar lies on the ground. The bag is nowhere to be found.
“It’s been a good run,” you say, looking back up at Vada, “Wish we’d done this sooner.”
“We’ll find the bag,” she says, “We’ll figure it out.”
You lean over the back of the couch, scoop up the now squashed joint and drop back into the cushion. With a shaking hand you light it, inhale deeply, and silently kiss your ass goodbye.

Coke and Mentos
Jenna Ortega x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
Based on a Tiktok
Y/n sits on the couch in her girlfriends house while her girlfriend showers. They had date plans and Jenna was shooting earlier that day and had to shower before they left.
"Aliyah, come with me" Y/n exclaims as she stands up quickly, having just thought of a prank to pull on her girlfriend.
"What? I was watching a movie" Aliyah groans before she sees her sisters girlfriend take the bottles of coke out the fridge and getting a packet of mentos.
"Oh my god.. what are you doing?! Jenna's gonna kill you! She's literally showering right now! Actually, I'm surprised you're not in there with her"
"She's not gonna kill me. I'll make it up to her later tonight" Y/n responds as she takes the caps off the bottles and drops the mentos in them, leaving one of the bottles alone.
"Ew, I don't wanna hear about that" Aliyah gags as she watches the older girl put the bottles back in the fridge.
"I think she's coming, get back to the couch" Y/n rushes out as she and the younger girl sit back on the couch just as Jenna walks into the room with wet hair and a towel around her neck.
"Oh, hey Jen Jen, can you get me some coke please? In a glass?" Y/n asks her girlfriend with puppy dog eyes.
"Sure baby. You know they'll have coke at the restaurant, right?" Jenna asks with a smile as she walks to the kitchen after giving her girlfriend a soft kiss.
"Yeah, but I really want some now" Y/n whines as she and Aliyah share a knowing look.
"Oh shit!" The girls hear after a fizzing noise comes from the kitchen.
"What's wrong?" Y/n calls out as she holds back a laugh.
"Nothing babe, just a bit of a spillage!" Jenna calls back as she starts to clean up the coke from the counter. Y/n sends Aliyah a guilty look before calling out again.
"Well, can you get my drink before you clean it? I'm just really thirsty"
"Sure baby" Jenna opens another bottle only for it to explode over her again.
"What the fuck!" Jenna yells again.
"Jenna? Are you okay?" Aliyah calls out.
"I think these came pre shaken!" Y/n and Aliyah hold back a laugh.
"Hang on Y/n I'm getting it now" Jenna calls out sweetly as she gets another bottle only for it to explode again, only this time she holds it over the glass, filling it half way.
"Here you go babe" Jenna walks back to the living room with the glass in hand.
"Baby, what happened to you?!" Y/n exclaims with a laugh as she looks at her girlfriend covered in coke.
"They kept exploding! Every single one of them!"          Y/n walks to the kitchen and grabs the bottle without the mentos and opens it.
"Are you sure? This one's fine" Y/n smiles as she fills her glass all the way.
"Babe, there's something actually wrong with them" Jenna says as she looks at her girlfriend in disbelief before Aliyah bursts out laughing.
"Jen Jen, I need to tell you something" Y/n takes her girlfriends hand and squeezes it comfortingly.
"Sure, what?"
"I put mentos in the bottles" Y/n stifles a laugh.
"Y/n, are you serious?"
"I'm sorry baby”
"Feel my hair! I just showered!" Jenna brings her girlfriends hand to her hair for her to feel the stickiness.
"I know, I'll help you shower again and we can go out another night" Y/n leans up and presses a soft kiss against her lips as she intertwines their fingers.
"Ugh, this is officially not entertaining anymore" Aliyah says as she walks back to her room.
"Also, I went on a trip to Victoria's Secret today" Y/n tells her girlfriend with a smirk.
"I forgive you, let's go shower" Jenna pulls her girlfriend to the bathroom.

Vada's Little Brat
Pairing: Vada x reader
Content Warning: 18+ content, smut, Vada has a penis, semi-public sex (?), edging once
Summary: Vada doesn't pay you any attention so you have a plan...
Tumblr media
You were living at Vada’s house now. You were bored since Vada had invited Nick, Mia and Quinton over and you wasn’t getting as much attention as you wanted but you understood until you realised she was more focused on making you needy. You could see it from that look inside of her eyes. You didn’t know why but you decided it would be best to try and ignore her too then. You wouldn’t react to her then too. You were sitting on your phone after that before you saw them all starting to smoke. You were watching her as you knew it was weed from the scent immediately.
That’s when you decided to act up. Getting up you went to the bathroom. Once inside you locked the door and was immediately stripping down to nothing before you sent photos to Vada. You took breast photos as well as pussy photos and sent them one by one. You could see that Vada saw them though as it had the ‘seen’ icon. That’s when you heard shuffling downstairs and her going upstairs before knocking on the door. “Yes?” you called out innocently. “Open this fucking door right now so I can fuck you,” Vada growled out, and you could hear it clearly. “Nope,” you teased her. She had to know how you felt after all, and you was going to give her medicine. You knew it would be a bad idea later on but you didn’t care about that right now. You just wanted to fuck with Vada. You heard Vada growl before she left. At that point you knew you were fucked since she didn’t give you a second chance.
After around 10 minutes, you went down and went on the couch again next to Mia. You knew you were safe then though you could feel Vada’s stare on you. She didn’t dare attempt anything before you thought of a plan. Since Mia was just watching Nick, Quinton and Vada play games, she was happy to talk to you. You were talking about random stuff with a smile as you soon leaned into her cuddles. You thought you heard her growl but didn’t say anything as you just leaned into it. Soon Mia got up and went to join the boys in the kitchen as they were getting drinks for everyone. Vada was quick to get on top of you then and was growling right in your ear as she was biting at the earlobe. You let out a gasp. “You are such a slut. Sending me photos then cuddling up to Mia,” she growled out loud. You whimpered. “You didn’t give me attention,” you whined out. “Well I was busy with my friends but now I’m not…” she growled out again. You were nodding submissively before you was thinking. “But… won’t they walk in?” You asked shyly. Vada just smirked and nodded. “I want them to see how much of a slut you are,” Vada responded before she was pulling your sweatpants down as well as hers. She went commando however you had on some underwear that was in her way. She proceeded to grab them and ripped them off. “Hey! They were my best pair,” you whined out with a groan. “And I don’t care,” she simply responded before she entered into you suddenly. You couldn’t help the loud moan that slipped out of your mouth. You were sure the others heard but you didn’t care in the slightest as you were getting her dick finally. She was grunting as she was thrusting nice and slow into you at first as she grabbed at your sides harshly. You knew they were going to bruise.
“You can watch and masturbate guys,” she called out, seeming to have seen the 3 outside the doorway. You flushed a bright red but you didn’t care as they walked in. You was holding onto Vada as she was scratching and biting you just like a dog would. You were grunting at every bite and scratch as you loved the attention you was getting while also feeling the thrill of being watched. You could feel their eyes on you as Vada was soon hitting your sweet spot, one thumb rubbing you clit. You was opening your legs the widest they could go as she did that and was throwing your head back louder, moans coming out and echoing around the room. She was grunting too as she was soon getting rougher and harder as she was groping your breast with the other hand. She was squeezing hard but you kept leaning into the touch as you closed your eyes tight, as she was soon stopping all movement and touches once she noticed you was close. She even had the audacity to smirk.
“Vada,” you whinperd out. “Please,” you practically begged out. Vada smirked, waiting for the urge to go down before she was thrusting again. You was panting as the others were getting back to the game while you were being fucked behind them. They knew how horny the short girl could get after all. Vada meanwhile was thrusting hard and fast as she was wanting to tease you as much as possible. You knew what she wanted. “Please daddy, I am so sorry. I won’t tease you ever again. Please just let me cum,” you whimpred out loudly, not caring if the others were listening in. That’s when Vada was pounding into you, kissing you deeply as she pinned you fully down on the couch and was soon sucking at your neck. You let out loud gasps as she was still hitting your sweet spot, her thumb rubbing your clit again. Since she was being rough, you were close and she knew.
“Cum for me baby,” she moaned out. Nodding, you came on command as you let out a quiet moan and was holding onto her wrists slightly. She kept pounding into you, letting you go down from your high before she pulled out and came on your thighs. You gasped at that but blushed hard.
“You joining again Vads?” Mia then asked.
