xie lian took 2 days to heal after his stab wound on beizi hill
he tooks several months to recover after the temple scene with white no-face
he took a year+ to heal after being trampled in banyue
the quick pace of healing after the temple scene makes me headcanon that he didn't give himself enough time to do it properly, meaning he was in a lot of physical as well as mental pain during the no-face arc.

yun didn't really like it when people fussed over him. when girls giggled and waved for his attention, when they called him cute. when anyone gave him a pat atop the head and called him good, or sweet. but-- this was nice. it was just a gesture of good will, right? embla was a very serious woman usually, with an intense gaze that gave no room for argument. and yet...
tang yun still needed to be bribed to keep him still.
the little monkey slowly kicks his legs back and forth, happily eating the chocolate pudding given to him. a part of him was actually surprised she'd complied to his request. though, he'd been polite enough in asking. " it can be hard to braid my hair perfectly every time. " mumbled around the spoon in his mouth. " so thank you for helping me. " -- presenting it as if it'd been his idea.

How to access flipnote hatena on dsi
first you want to be in system settings, and make sure wireless communications are on. as you change things, make sure to click "ok" so your stuff is saved.
go to internet> connection settings> advanced settings> and be connected to connection 4 (should say "setup complete").
then you click connection 4, and go to change settings. in change settings you want to have "auto-obtain dns" on "no", and go to detailed settings.
in primary dns, put in the numbers
104.248.000.110
in secondary dns, put in the numbers
008.008.008.008
then exit dns, so you are back in change settings. go to the page after dns, the proxy settings page. you want to have it on "yes". go to "detailed setup".
here, in proxy server, you put "ds.sudomemo.net", and for port you put in the number 80. then go to the next page, "basic authentication", and make sure it is set to "don't use"
after all of this is saved, go back to main dsi menu, open flipnote, and you can open hatena there as you usually would:)
there's a video on how to do it on youtube, and that is how I learned to do this, I just wanted to make a written summary. link is in the comments. hope this works out!:)
