Come to think of it, I heard that the president of my house is in a game from your house, and I was wondering if you could export it.

(T/N: "Chonmage" is a traditional Japanese slipknot hairstyle for men, commonly worn by samurai. There are many different variations to it, but the most common variation has the wearer partially bald with the slipknot vertically tied across)

Jap: *Violent coughing* I don't know, ah, I thought that we could only export manga.

Rus: Ufu~, I didn't know there was a manga too! That makes me so happy~♪

Jap: *MORE violent coughing* No, that's not-

Pochi: *weird dog noises*

Rus: What’s that?

(T/N: Glad you asked, Russia! ”Nininbaori”, like the original translation mentioned, means "A Coat For Two". It's when two people fit into one large coat to make the person in front look like a hunchback, It's often used in comedy and it looks like this)

(Bela is most likely the one in the back)

Jap: To think she knows what Nininbaori is, this person is not ordinary!

Bel: *whimper* Well, big brother!? Can’t we get married like- this- Let’s get married! LET’S GET MARRIED RIGHT NOW!!

Do not engage a discussion with me if you are disagreeing please, I just feel like sharing, I am not looking for discussion or arguments 🌸 Keep in mind that these are just my headcanons in the end, and headcanons, by definition, aren't canon.

A traumatized man who always acts as if nothing is wrong, ignoring his trauma on purpose, not seeking help nor wanting to heal

He has been brainwashed by his parents. By his family in general. This guy believes he exists only to be useful to the Family (tm)

Meeting Hisoka is specifically what made him start to stray from "the path of the assassin"

Baby realized he had the right to desire things for himself like any human being

And boy he wants power and control

Absolutely yassified himself to match Hisoka

Neurodivergent (AuDHD, I want to believe)

I want to believe he has BPD solely because I want him to be like me

He does feel pain. He just doesn't react to it. His pain receptors might have been altered, but I like to think it's more of an emotionally / sensitively stunted kinda thing

I really just think he got tortured until he just completely stopped reacting.

He does dissociate and have traumatic flashbacks on occasions. And ignores them. And lets his mental health get worse.

Sensations are complicated for him. They tend to mix up. He often confuses pain for pleasure (the opposite as well)

Proud of my ears and the kanji I remember!

I was watching "Komi-san Can't Communicate" in Japanese, and thought that Chocolate (the cat)'s voice sounded familiar, especially when she referred to herself as 'ore'.

When I paused on the VA credits, I recognized "Taka" in her name, but not the other kanji.

Did a google search and confirmed - she's voiced by Urara Takano... who I recognized as Insector Haga (Weevil)'s VA!

Accuracy of Kai's VA's performances in comparison to the manga

After looking over the Beyblade manga again, I realize Kai yells a lot. I can tell this isn't just the translation, due to the shapes of the word balloons. Going by that, I think David Reale does a more accurate job at portraying Kai's personality as it was in the manga; whereas Urara Takano shows a softer side to him in the Japanese version of the anime. He's more of the quiet type in that version than he was in the manga, only raising his voice when he deems it necessary. Both voices are nice, because they show different sides to him, but at the moment I feel like Reale's acting was more accurate to the manga. P.S. I haven't seen that many episodes in Japanese yet, so my opinion of Takano-san's performance may change with further listening.

Fanmade "Carrot and Stick" translation

This is pretty much just an "updated" version of the most popular translation. I did this for fun and because part of Ukraine's dialogue was left out and got mistranslated as a result (yup, this aged pretty bad).

I really don't think that the lyric was "love is sweet to the point of pain". I think it was saying that love is sweet and painful simultaneously, which would make sense for the next line "but if either is missing, it's just not enough".
