If I did a take on Undertale: Last Breath, it'd probably involve Flowey instead of Gaster.

Everything Gaster-related, other than the Blasters, would be replaced with Flowey shenanigans.

Phase 1 would essentially be just Sans, until halfway through, vines start sprouting up. There would be both white and orange vines, mirroring Sans's white and blue bones.

Despite all the vines, Flowey isn't visibly there. He's hiding off out of view.

Starting Phase 2, kinda like that one renewed Last Breath, Sans would be saved by a ketchup bottle. I really like that specific thing that fangame did.

More bones and vines, still no Flowey. But just like Gaster does in the OG Last Breath, Flowey manipulates the screen, except more just turning it with more vines.

"Friendliness pellets" also finally show up alongside Flowey's vine attacks.

Yada yada Flowey finally shows up at the end. But he seems to turn on Sans, ensnaring him in vines, preventing movement.

He actually convinced Asgore to give up the human souls, and also uses Sans, Flowey-Possession AU style.

So, uh... yeah.

Phase 3, Flowey in Sans's body + 6 human souls.

Think Omega Flowey style, but shorter purely for the fact that you have to go through two phases before just to get here.

"Judgement's End" and "Before Disaster Strikes"

Another fun fact regarding AU combinations with Sunsetter; Last Breath and Disbelief kinda... swap-ish... in a way or so.

Imma put the explanation under the cut for people who don't care lmao

Judgement's End (Sunsetter's "Disbelief")

Papyrus dies at the end of Snoefahl, trying to take the earliest possible opportunity to get Finley to be a better person. So Sans encounters Finley at the Final Corridor in replacement of him. To counter Finley's higher LV, Sans now has some more tricks up his sleeves, thanks to some help from W.D. Gaster, the old scientist-turned-shopkeep of The Wetlands.

Gaster has created a machine that somehow temporarily break small seams in reality itself, at the cost of SPIRIT-targetting pain for whoever uses it.

Perhaps, with enough power in the machine, Sans and Gaster could remove Finley from the world as a whole...

This fight would have three phases. The first is kinda the average Sans fight. The second phase starts with Sans being attacked, but yada-yada ketchup bottle in hoodie like in Last Breath Renewed, and it's when the machine is brought in and starts being used. The third occurs after Finley tries to BREAK the machine, causing... things to happen.

And, on the other side of things...

Before Disaster Strikes (Sunsetter's "Last Breath")

Papyrus discovers a doorway, meets Gerson, and asks for his help. While Gerson refuses to intervene in-person, for reasons he doesn't explain, he DOES give Papyrus a weapon that he says could help. A hammer... a mallet... whatever you want to call it.

The weapon seems to whisper things to Papyrus, though. Flattery... advice... encouragement... ...predictions. Predictions of a doomsday. It's like it has already seen what will happen, like it had happened before....

But Papyrus won't let that get to him. He'll stop Finley before this doomsday comes. He'll stop the human before disaster strikes.

This fight would have four phases. The first has Papyrus kinda normally, while still trying to convince Finley to chance their ways. The second has Papyrus realize he has to start getting more serious, and does so. Though, he still warns Finley of what could come if they don't give up. The third would have Papyrus FINALLY USE THE FUCKING HAMMER-- oh, and Queen Toriel comes in to fight on Papyrus's side, yippee. Papyrus breaks the ground with the hammer, and Finley falls off. Cue a doodle-jump esque minigame of getting back up to Papyrus and Toriel. More fighting, until Toriel is struck down, and that ends phase three. Phase 4 is kinda just Disbelief Phase Four(TM) and then Papyrus dies.
