I Wanna be like “ohhh it’s so funny how Giles has such a deep genuine affection for Buffy and Willow but he lowkey can’t stand Xander and think he’s dumb” but then I remember Xanders dream in Restless when he saw Spike and Giles together and Spike was like “Giles is my new mentor! He’s teaching me to be a Watcher :)” and Giles was like “yeah. He’s like a son to me :)” and Xander was like “haha yeah. I wanted to be like that for a while. But I moved onto other things” and his other things were just like his sad minimum wage job that he hates. And then it’s revealed later in that same episode that Xanders father is abusive. And then they never talk about annnnyyyy of this again and Xander is the funny stupid guy everyone loves to hate. Anyway!

Hi anon!

You know what’s so weird to me… people always blowing off Tae’s actions. It’s always ‘Tae is acting’, ‘It’s onesided’, ‘It’s only Tae doing this’, ‘Tae does fanservice’. So many people discredit what Tae does and says just because it’s Tae. It’s so unfair to both Tae and Jk, because that means that people do actually think Tae does things for clout, but also that Jk let’s Tae use him. Why wouldn’t Tae be sincere in his actions and words? Drives me nuts at times.

He is so clearly affected by Jk. By Jk’s appearance and by his character as well. I think Tae is a master at concealing his emotions and he has the ability to control his expressions. But there’s definitely many times that he has shown how much Jk affects him.
