Thinking about the empty awful feeling to the ending of ep 6 and how much of this is due to the fact that we SEE in their physicality that a vital spark of life is gone from each of them once they leave the bookshop. Crowley, the demon always in motion, stands stock still watching Aziraphale leave. In the car he doesn’t move at all. For Aziraphale the the fluttery hands are gone and there is no train of facial micro-expressions… just shock and loss and then the smile that doesn’t reach his eyes.
