listen, i get that attractiveness is completely subjective and we're all attracted (or not) to different things, but every now and then the internet will go absolutely feral over some man that looks so much like a non-customized sim, that i cannot, for the life of me, even recognize this man when i see him. i will literally go, 'who is that?' every single time i see his face because he is so neutral looking, that i find it impossible to register his features as having anything identifiable about them. like there are a ton of 'hot' celebrities that i am not personally attracted to, but are still instantly recognizable. and then every now and then there's just one of these mega popular 'hot' men who i wouldn't be able to identify in a police line up if my life depended on it.

#people really relate thinness to health so much that i keep getting compliments about how 'great' i look lately#like yeah thanks just rapidly losing large amounts of weight and none of my doctors can figure out why and also my hair is falling out#just girly things obvs#but yeah i'm skinny rn and my ribs and collarbones are sticking out and apparently that trumps everything else#in december i might have weighed a lot more but i felt great#so far all of 2024 i have been incredibly sick and all my lab work comes back weird but not definitive#anyway#tw: weight loss#tw: ed#tw: disordered eating#<< i mean it's not but this could be triggering for people so tagging it#tw: chronic illness#I think the extreme weight loss and the hair falling out are related like both of these things have only been happening since my#chronic illness flare but they can't find any reason for the flare and it is not stopping so honestly idk what to do#also i feel like i have a uti all the time but the results come back negative#venting will delete this later#my chronic illness was in remission for basically exactly one year and now it's worse than ever#and i'm so tired#td#personal

So I have been re-reading Red Rising because I finally want to tackle Iron Gold, etc. …..but also I have now gotten even more emotionally attached to these characters and I’m so worried about all the terrible things that will inevitably happen in this follow up series. I also have this fear (I know the last book isn’t out yet) that the final book will end with Darrow entering The Vale, and I will not be prepared for that. Unless there’s some kind of big giant time jump then, nooooooo, it’s still too soon.
