any other autistic people get overwhelmingly upset when someone makes a promise they don’t keep? especially if it’s repeated broken promises from the same person. even if it’s something really little.

to me promises are a for sure assurance, not a “i’ll try to do it,” so it feels like i’m being personally hurt/ignored/etc. when someone makes a promise to me and then doesn’t keep it

about my regression

🧺 i know this isn’t the case for everyone, but when i regress i am truly in the mindset of a preschool aged child and need to be treated as such. i cannot be expected to understand adult concepts when i am regressed.

🍶 my regression is almost entirely involuntary, and due to severe childhood trauma and mental illness. this often means i am experiencing “vent” regression more than i am experiencing happy, non-vent regression. this may be reflected in my posts.

🧺 i am developmentally disabled and this affects my regression heavily. it is not as “obvious” online (or so i am told) but i am disabled and need extra help a lot of the time. please be patient with me!

my interests

🦦 i am mostly interested in early 2000s television shows when i am regressed since that is what i grew up watching. particularly little bear, thomas the train, blue’s clues (and blue’s room), oswald, maggie and the ferocious beast, etc.

🦥 i love all animals! one of my more favorite places to go is the zoo, i love seeing all the animals there.

🦦 i also really enjoy anything disney related or disney adjacent; disney movies, the parks, and other properties that reference disney (like once upon a time).

🦥 my favorite “little gear” are stuffed animals. i am unable to express my regression very freely in my current living situation so the only “gear” i can own are plushies and i love to collect them! i specifically collect bunny plushies, warmies, and the care bears.

🦦 my all time favorite character, my comfort character when i am regressed, is snoopy! i love snoopy (as you can probably tell by my blog) and want to collect anything snoopy related i can get my hands on.
