I just wanted to say I love your works! Your prose is literally just so poetic and I STRIVE to be as expressive in my writing. What do you consider to be your magnum opus of fic writing? I’m always curious to see what authors think of their own works. Like a directors cut haha

oh my goodness afhjakdfgaldk THANK you !!!! this is so kind <333

my magnum opus in fic writing is 100000% "the man who moved oceans to find home and the one who swallowed his raw heart whole" which is my 103k iwaoi manifesto. it's the longest fic i've written and it's also just the one i've put the most time, work, energy, and dedication into. i started it in july 2022 and didn't complete and finish it until WELL over a year later. part of me also goes crazy for this one because over 30,000 words of it was handwritten and i think that's hilarious and insane of me. i'm incredibly proud of this one in terms of writing, characterization, editing, and just . yeah. im just REALLY proud of this one.

honorary mention to "the path to gold is paved with the bones of the monsters that came before us" as well. i've described this one before as my love letter to haikyuu, and i still think that's incredibly accurate.

another honorary mention to "a reflection on being empty, being whole, & being in love" as well, which i put so much of myself into. this one still feels so incredibly personal and raw and vulnerable that i can't ever reread it LOL. but it's really good i promise. i'm still really proud of it <3

Oh yeah, actors playing characters are 100% okay!! re:MCYT i draw based off their mc skin anyway which is why i don’t necessarily count that as “real people”! the real ppl is more like… im not going to draw agere of like. people who dont play characters and like the ex i used of like mark/iploer (just dont want it to show in searches) is like… theyre just based off him 😭 if that makes sense. like hawkeye MCU isnt literally renner, renner just happens to be hawkeye. the egolliers or w/e they are are literally just. “(person) but themed like XYZ”

omg wait did you think about do revenge??

i really liked it! i thought drea was a fantastic protagonist and it was a BEAUTIFUL movie. the second act dragged imo and they went a little too ham on the gen-z references, but it's so indulgent and doesn't take itself too seriously so i can forgive it. the Thing That Is Revealed....oh boy i did NOT see that coming. great references to other stuff throughout. and i love maya hawke so yk. im not gonna complain abt her being on my screen for two hours.

#2.5 stars for me on the ~film~ scale but 4 stars for viewing experience #comic con panel #ty for asking :D #film stuff

I'm most proud of Thorns, my post-canon andreil fic! i think it's really concise for how long it is (i mean, 18k.. but still it got the level of editing i usually give fics that are like 2k haha)

Maybe Night Practice? It's so simple but it was pointed out to me after the fact that the fic is about being slutty at night practice (lol) but also

i read so many of my fics LOL. most frequently, i think i reread parts of habit or flashes of intimacy. both of them are vignette-based, although habits are like, thematically related.

10. Favorite piece of clothing to draw.

I... hate drawing clothes, but I like drawing lingerie and stuff. And flowy stuff even if it kicks my ass.

11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what?

I listen to music like 99% of the time I'm drawing. Sometimes it's whatever I feel like, but sometimes I'll make a playlist for the vibes/character I'm drawing. Usually it's just whatever tho!

20. Something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy.

This is really funny but EVERY Switch artist I've talked to hates drawing Tsumugi's hair, or has issues with it, but he's my favorite character to draw hands down.

I have had the same nightmare or a variation of it extremely frequently for the past 4 years. It's that untreated PTSD

I often have recurring dreams about going blind or losing the ability to speak in some way

I feel like the only reoccurring dreams I have are nightmares LMAO

18. do you believe in ghosts and/or aliens?

I don't really believe in ghosts. Or I guess I'd say I'm like agnostic about ghosts because I'm not totally against them existing. I just have my own beliefs about what happens after death and it kinda conflicts

As far as aliens existing in the universe, I think it's impossible that we're the only living creatures in the entire universe. But I wouldn't say I believe aliens came to earth or tried to contact humans

more often than not i will be listening to music while i draw. sometimes something loud that will stop me from forming any conscious thought, sometimes vocaloid. usually vocaloid. on the rare occasion ill listen to those hour long video game documentaries though! gotta love those.
