So like, I was supposed to do an event for a milestone…

I might have shot past the original figure. (bless you victims.)

Honestly, being fashionably late✨ doesn’t bother me that much. I couldn’t care less, honestly. I love to write. However, it’s getting more and more tiring to answer requests, or even press down on any letter on my keyboard.

The reblog to like ratio is still as demoralising as ever. I know you’ve heard me complain over and over about this like a little bitch, but it’s really depressing to see a work get so many likes, but hardly any reblogs.

Here are some of my more recent works as examples.

For all the 4K people who have read and enjoyed my work, only 299 have put in the effort to reblog it. I love you, the 299 victims who reblogged.

If my reblogs mirrored my likes, I wouldn’t have been too mad. It just shows I have room to improve in my writing.

But you victims are clearly enjoying my writing, if your comments and likes mean anything. You like what I write, and the stories I craft.

But having no reblogs nor interaction does not help motivate me to write more. I am just a mage, typing away for free. It’s like talking to a blank wall, at this point.

For all my victims following and liking my content, only a precious few take that five seconds out of their day to reblog.

For all the people asking me for a part two to certain works, I apologise but I don’t have the drive nor the support from you guys I need to get these works out.

For the events I planned, even if I host anything, I highly doubt they’ll gain any sort of traction, with this inactive audience. So what even is the point?

I don’t expect the victims to zealously reblog every single fic I’ve ever written. That’s a bit too much. Yet, if you enjoyed my writing enough to give me a little heart, I think reblogging it isn’t that hard.

I’ll give the victims the benefit of the doubt, considering there has been an influx of people coming from Reddit, from Twitter… maybe you guys didn’t know that reblogging was important.

Reblogging helps to push out our works, as Tumblr doesn’t have the usual algorithm based on likes, that other social media platforms do. Likes do literally nothing for the creators on Tumblr.

I really, really enjoy writing, especially for the Twisted Wonderland Fandom. I feel that there’s a certain sense of community in this fandom, and everyone very welcoming and kind.

There are so many wonderful artists and writers who’ve shared their works on Tumblr.

Go down the #Twst Spotlight💖 tag, and you’ll see so many creators who have poured their heart and passion into creating works for this fandom. The best part is, everyone seems to have more and more people to add to the list, each time it gets shared.

It warms my heart.

I’ll like to continue creating for this fandom.

So I hope that the audience for this fandom will appreciate the works we put out a little more.

🛠 What tools/programs/apps do you use to write?

I use Google Docs! Sometimes I might use tumblr's drafts if it's a short writing, but one time I was working on a smut scene in Azul thought 4 and it didn't save and I was devastated for all of five seconds before proceeding to rewrite the entire thing from memory. orz

💖 What made you start writing?

I've always loved creating characters and stories, so for most of my childhood it was a form of escapism and a very fun hobby. As for why I started writing fanfiction and reader inserts, it was mainly because I could never find the exact things I wanted to read. So I started writing what I wanted to read and from there I've kept at it!

As for the twst event I would create if given the chance: it would be an event that shines more spotlight on Sam. It would take inspiration from the plot in Princess and the Frog. When one of the students is cursed to become a frog by a mysterious shadow hailing from Sam's hometown, Sam gathers a select few students to trace the shadow back to the Port o'Bliss so that he can acquire the cure and turn the student back to normal. It just so happens that a festival similar to Mardi Gras is happening and Sam's friends on the other side alert him that the cure may lie within the festival during its parade. So Sam and the students don festival attire (which would be the SSR, SR, and R cards you can get from the event) to infiltrate the celebration and hopefully capture the mysterious shadow and get the cure. This event would also introduce you to the twst equivalent of Tiana! :D

I think it would be interesting (and funny) if Grim was turned into the frog so that MC is given more speaking lines. That, and it would be very on brand if the cast were like, "Why should we help? If Grim stays a frog, he's less annoying and won't steal our food. It's a win-win." But then Sam mentions they get to travel and all the characters hear is ✨ vacation time ✨ so they accompany him only because they're curious and want to get out of doing school work! The cast for this event would have to be Sam, Grim, MC, Ace, Ruggie, Floyd, Kalim, and Rook! Essentially, it's all the troublemakers lol.
