Doing another holiday episode poll for Bob’s Burgers since we don't have a Thanksgiving episode this year and was this close to not doing it because of the limit of the choices of doing a Tumblr poll, but here we are since Tumblr was generous to add an added option after 10. What's your favorite Thanksgiving episode? Give a vote.

When Danny enters the Fenton portal for the very first time, he still trips and shocks himself but at the same time damages the inside of the portal enough that it can’t sustain itself past the point of changing Danny’s molecules.

The electricity and damage done to both Danny and the portal isn’t something Danny, Sam, and Tucker can cover up and his parents find out immediately. They’re more concerned about their son then the portal (they have the blueprints for the portal and can rebuild it later but can’t replace their son if something happened to him) and go through a lot of things emotions regarding the existence of ghost human hybrids.

Danny’s new biology could easily be passed as meta human traits. Unfortunately President Lex Luther had just recently passed laws against meta humans. Meaning they can’t risk people find out about Danny’s new powers, at all. The Fentons decide that Danny should live with one of Maddie or Jacks relatives off grid until he can control his new abilities better.

luckily Jacks sister, Martha, and her husband have experience with a super powered child and after their son moved to the city could probably use a hand on their farm. All Jack needed to do was call.

Love the thought of Leo just casually being well traveled to absurd degrees. Like one day they’re facing their new Big Bad of the year and like, Draxum or whoever says that the key to their fight is located somewhere in, like, Latvia or some place, but no one knows where to start.

Then Leo’s like “oh I know a place” and when asked how the heck he could know of one it smash cuts to Leo falling through the ceiling of said place due to a portal mishap.

Also love the idea of Leo, being as accidentally (and then later, purposefully) well traveled as he is, sometimes taking his family on outings to different places all over, maybe to some new Yokai spots he found along the way.

In these places, Leo 100% lets his bros get scammed by tourist traps.

it is incredibly frustrating to see the non-response from westerners to what is arguably the worst natural disaster in recent memory. when the ukraine-russia war broke out, it was on everyone's blogs. everyone--at least on my dash--was trying to spread awareness of the humanitarian crisis. but now?

fucking crickets.

absolutely nothing.

this earthquake has already claimed 20k confirmed lives. it has only been 5 days. most wrecks have not been excavated yet.

we need all the help we can get, but not a single fucking person is doing anything to help spread the message. people who proudly put the ukrainian flag in their display names or in their bios are nowhere to be seen now. the influencers youtubers and tiktok micro-celebrities who shared donation posts and ukrainian refugee testimonials daily are dead silent now. why? why do you only care when the people dying are somewhat like you? do we need to be whiter to deserve your attention? or more christian? do we not deserve your energy as is? are we, turks and syrians, not humans?

im so fucking sorry if donation posts don't fit your blog's aesthetic or if the news are just so fucking draining for you. every single one of you motherfuckers living in the west should be ashamed of yourselves for how differently you are treating us versus how you treated ukrainians when the war broke out.

if this happened in any western country you'd all be making infographics on how to donate or help.

right now the only reason why people on my dash are devastated is because the rhythm guitarist from my chemical romance had a haircut.

Day in Fandom History: November 24…

It’s a Thanksgiving mystery as someone inside the house puts an uncooked turkey in the toilet overnight and Bob won’t stop until he finds out who did it as Gene, Linda, and Gayle devise a song for the holiday. The second Thanksgiving-themed episode of Bob’s Burgers, “Turkey in a Can”, premiered on this day, 10 Years Ago.

you all voted, the competition was close (incredibly close—I don't think either episode was up by more than 3% over the whole day, and there were a couple times when it was a straight tie), but with a final result of 51% to 49%, the winner has been declared

turkey in a can was tough competition, but at the end of the day, only one holiday special could take the crown

massive thank you to everyone who voted and participated! this was incredibly fun to run, with lots of outcomes I wasn't expecting, and a match-up for the ages as our finale. halloween isn't for eight more months, but it will always be hauntening season in our hearts

This is the fundraiser I have started to help the people of my village who have been affected by the devastation following the Turkey/Syria earthquake. The first (7.8 magnitude) and second (7.6 magnitude) earthquakes have reduced the entire Polatdere area to rubble and debris. The majority of my village are farmers and elders who only have two road access to the village - one leading in and another leading out. Aid has been difficult to come by and we still need tents. We need money for food, heaters, water, clothes, fuel for cars, and to salvage our trucks and equipment for the upcoming spring.
