Moebana by Hidari Yokoyama

It is pretty much a niche manga about Ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement style) and shows how an otaku Tsukumo Fukakusa learns about Ikebana and then subsequently joins the Ikebana club and pairs up with Tsubame Dewakuni to enroll for the prestigious Rokka cup. Their personalities are poles apart and one thing they both have in common is their passion for flowers!

Sunshine and introvert pairing up is my guilty pleasure UwU ✨

It is a slice of life with a lot of varied side characters who are super interesting too. The mangaka and translator have worked hard to convey the meaning behind Ikebana so well! Love the little notes on the side about the scientific name of flowers etc. It is very cute, calming and relaxing to watch two cuties arrange flowers with other cuties!

Moebana by Hidari Yokoyama

High-schooler Tsukumo Fukakusa is obsessed with an anime about human characters based on flowers. He secretly enjoys looking at the flower arrangements displayed in front of the back entrance of his school. Then, one day, his knowledge of flowers is noticed by the ikebana club, who suddenly recruit him! This otaku, guided by his favorite idol character, enters the world of flower arranging! Thus begins this ikebana youth drama!

Read through Chapter (?) 3.

Chapters are either very long or formatted incorrectly on the website I read it on, often being 40+ pages long. Art style isn’t really anything big, story isn’t too exciting. That said, I appreciate learning more about hobbies and interests through manga/manhwa/webcomics, and this one does a pretty good job of going into detail on flower arranging, so I would read more.
