The Old Tourist Bureau

The Old Tourist Bureau used to be the council hub for San Myshuno. It is now converted into two huge apartments stretching out over three (maybe four) levels. Only one of the apartments has been completely renovated while the second remains empty. The main house is on the ground and second floors with a small living suite in the basement where the senior family members can live independently while still being safely nearby. Of course it wouldn’t be my build if I didn’t add in some silly extras. Info

RANT:

*Platforms and Roofs*

Who else would REALLY find it useful to have the ability to choose if we want a roofing piece to sit *on top* of a platform, rather than intersecting it? I’m thinking for stuff like the tower roof on the Psycho/Bates motel house. I miss the things I could do in TS2 with “constrainfloorelevation false” you know?? Not to mention having more than 4 floors to work with for towers and mansard roofs.

Basically, I want to use the platform tool to create a “spacer level” between the top floor, and the roof. Because that workaround of inching a roofing piece over from atop an elevated room, only to have your painstaking work delete itself because you forgot and added a wall somewhere in the house, is REALLY not ok.

The Shipping Cafe

This is a cafe in Evergreen Harbor made with shipping containers. The main style in the interior is grey and industrial. There is a laundromat beside it for sims that live in the apartments. The main floor has mostly seating and the barista station. On the second floor there is more seating and a recreational area that has a ping pong table and an easel.

108 Cherry Creek

This is a base game family home in the Sims 4. Many of the furnishings and appliances are on the expensive side, so I consider this home upscale. This actually took me much longer then it should have because I had to furnish it twice after deleting the furniture on accident... whoops. Anyway, this house has six bedrooms, with three furnished for any age, one nursery, and a toddler’s room.

There are two and half baths. Upstairs, both the family bathroom and the master bath have a modified layout with a W.C. so that a sim can use the toilet and not get embarrassed when another sim uses the sink. The toilets and half baths are not pictured but are similar to the ones that are.

Downstairs, there is a formal living space, formal dining space, kitchen with a bar area for eating, and a lounge space (where the TV is located). The kitchen has a dishwasher and a nearby sprinkler system if anything goes wrong. Also the kitchen and lounge both have the Sims 4 version of an Amazon Alexa, which can play music and tell jokes and has other useful features. There is an office space in a secluded area downstairs and an extra study area upstairs as well as a built in minibar. Also, there is a private gym in the basement with three treadmills, two punching bags and two weight machines (I think that’s what they are called but I wouldn’t know lol). There is also a stereo in the basement for dancing, but sims will dance to the Alexa-like machines too. All computers are expensive, high tech, and there is a wabbit tablet in the toddler’s room and a digital sketch pad in one of the bedrooms.

There is a great outdoor area, with a seating area and chessboard in the front, two balconies, both off the master, and one with another sitting area and an art easel, a back porch with a table and set of chairs, a pool and loungers, a grill and picnic table, monkey bars, and an area for sims to work on gardening. Here are a few shots below. Sorry one is so dark, the game wasn’t being patient with me.
