As soon as I found out the new world was based on San Fran I knew what I had to do! Here are some cute colourful townhouses for your Sims and their multiple guests that stay!

TS4 - Nasi Lemak

D E C O R A T I O N

Nasi lemak is a dish originating in Malay cuisine that consists of fragrant rice cooked in coconut milk that is traditionally served with anchovies, cucumbers, peanuts, and boiled eggs. The dish is rounded up with the addition of a spicy chili paste called sambal.

Although originally invented as a breakfast dish, soon it surpassed its original purpose and became the Malaysian national dish which can be eaten at any time.

I was excited for the San Fran inspired world and was sad that a lot of the lots in the dt area were just scenery shells. I found these townhome shells by Manderski on the gallery and spruced them up for Andreas. Inspired by the “Painted Ladies” historic houses in San Francisco. :)

so. you said you love san myshuno. i really like playing there, but to me it's kind of.. "weird". cause the "lower class" part of it gives brooklyn vibes and the park is inspired by nyc central park, and the rest of the city feels something more like japan (?) it remembers me that city from big hero six, san fransokyo was a mix of san francisco and tokyo if i'm right*. that's why i always pretend that mt. komorebi is like the country side of the same world.

anyway, the question is: what kind of vibe does it give to you, how do you see it? do you already have something in mind for it? hints?? anything!

* (in fact there's the bridge too. i'm not enthusiastic about another one america inspired world, but at least we'll have the possibility to pretend that san myshuno and san sequoia are connected)

i feel u! it’s weird to me too. i love it cuz it has apartments but i usually just play with the spice market, arts quarter, and the park cuz uptown and the fashion district are too futuristic/fancy for my playstyle. i wish san myshuno was fully just new york then another one was tokyo (cuz japan looks cool af) like if there was one similar to the custom boroughsburg sims 3 world my dreams would come true. ts4 needs a world creator/editor so bad 😵‍💫 i’m curious to fully see san sequoia !

Feel like a Spanish noble with these ceilings and Vaults. With the permission of The Regal Sims, I have include ceilings of the Mudejar, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassical styles both Spanish and Italian, in addition to some vaults of the Royal Palace of Madrid.

About Pine Hollow

Since I’m planning to post more updates here than I have been, I wanted to give some explanation about my Sims’ world for those not familiar with my blogs. I started long ago with TS2 and TS3 on my old blog. I moved over to TS4 and a new blog this summer. The new blog won’t be dead, but I’ll just post bits of the storyline as they happen here on Tumblr and then copy and post all of them for each family as a whole after I’m done with that house. So you can either read bits of the stories here or read the whole thing on the blog. Each of my rounds lasts 1 year.

My Sims’ cities stretch across the United States, as you can see from the map. Pine Hollow and Arcadia are the names of the original cities my Sims used and so Willow Creek is renamed as Pine Hollow and Newcrest is Arcadia. The Magnolia Promenade neighborhood is used as the home of Pine State University. All three of these locations are in eastern North Carolina (where I live!). Brindleton Bay is a town along the shore of New Hampshire. San Myshuno is near San Francisco and Del Sol Valley near Los Angeles. StrangerVille has been renamed as Paradise City, and it and Oasis Springs sit near Area 51 in Nevada.

Windenburg will be located in Europe in my storyline, but I haven’t decided for sure which country it’s in. I just got Island Living and I’ll set Sulani as among the Polynesian islands, based on the inspiration for the island’s creation.

You can find out more about my Sims and their world on the blogs. All of my Sims were recreated in the new worlds, and so I’ve been playing the same family trees since the beginning. You can learn more about each family here, though I haven’t yet posted them all since I’m recreating this blog, and the family trees here. If you want to know more about the history, check out the old blog where you can see old profiles of all the Sims that have lived in my world.
